Chapter 28- A new rival
Prologue (takes place during Chapter 24)
On the outskirts of space, inside a spaceship, the tall alien, Thel 'Vadam, better known as The Arbiter, proceeds to land on a remote planet as a pit stop.
He eventually lands on a remote planet. The spaceship crashed land. The Arbiter comes out of the pod.
He takes a deep breath.
"Ah! "said The Arbiter, relieved that he's on the planet.
On the remote planet, a small little alien, a cute little unggoy, is sitting down on the grass, outside. He is signing a happy song and smiling.
The Arbiter approaches him.
The unggoy shivers in fear of the tall alien because of his scary appearance, as he walks towards him.
"Hello." said the Arbiter
"Uh, h-hi. I-I'm Gus. Please d-don't hurt me," said the unggoy shaking in fear
"Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you. In fact. I have a proposition to make. How about you join me, in our conquest towards Equestria. We should investigate what's going on in that universe. There's a certain prince I wish to speak to and in fact, I know you can help me find him. You'd be useful. In fact, you would become my sidekick because one day, if I retire from being The Arbiter, someone will have to take my place," said The Arbiter.
The Arbiter extends his arm to Gus. Gus smiles, now knowing The Arbiter wouldn't hurt him.
"I will join you." said Gus,
"Oh, good. Now, come aboard on the spaceship," said The Arbiter.
The Arbiter and Gus both walk back to the spaceship and take off, leaving the remote planet for Equestria.
However, as The Arbiter closed his eyes, he had a vision of Mario the Sonic Plush and Anti-Mario fighting it out, with the battle between those two turning out very ugly.
(Those words..." Oh, my life would be better if you never existed," haunt me to this very day, so think before you say something disgusting like this!" Anti-Mario had said
MTSP gets up off his back and laughs.
"Did you think I would have pity on you? Well think again. I am going to destroy you," said Mario.)
The Arbiter snaps out of it and opens his eyes. In days, he and his small alien friend will land towards Equestria.

Now, leading to the actual events of this chapter, starting from the scene as seen in "Spooky Ooky".
The party is restored back to normal as a result of the defeat of Akio and the evil spell that he had created. The time got set back to 7:00 PM, and Trixie is continuing her magic show. She begins with the same introduction she gave right before the evil spell incident.
"Greetings everyone. The Great and Powerful Trixie shall provide you with an amazing, special magic show. One that you will never forget. Everyone will love it."
Trixie spoke.
Everyone claps.
Trixie performs amazing magic tricks.
Suddenly, after 15 minutes, Trixie's magic show ends.
Everyone gets back to having some fun at the party. Including Mario the Sonic Plush.
Two aliens then crash the party.
The tall alien with thick webbed feet and the small orange shelled alien. The ones who had landed in Equestria.
The tall alien looks at Mario the Sonic Plush. He looks not too happy to see the prince and his friends, as well as everyone else, having fun at the party.
The prince, MTSP, spoke up.
"Who the hell are you?!"
The tall alien closes his eyes. He introduces himself.
"I am. The Arbiter."
The Prince and The Arbiter both glare at each other.
"I don't like you," said The Arbiter
"Fine. I don't like you either," said Mario
Both begin to fight.
However, Mario quickly stops the fight for a bit.
"Look, Mr. Arbiter. I'd appreciate you coming to give me a fair duel, but we should probably take it to tomorrow. I am here with my pals to enjoy a nice party. You can just leave. However, meet me tomorrow morning at 10 AM near The Crystal Empire. We should have our fight then," said MTSP,
"It's a deal. Come on Gus, let's get going," said the Arbiter
The small alien smiles.
"Got it," said Gus,
Both the tall and small aliens leave CT Darkling Drac's castle.
Twilight and Eliza walk towards him, Rarity, Kit, CT Darkling Drac and Trixie,
"Who were they? " asked Eliza,
"Yeah, we're curious," said Twilight
Mario the Sonic Plush strokes his chin.
"Hmm. I don't know, but it doesn't look good." said MTSP.
(The next day, October 30, 2020 at 8:00 AM)

Anti-Mario and Rainbow Dash are walking on the street.
Ponies are screaming and crying for help. Changelings are attacking them left and right.
Anti-Mario shakes. Not by the ponies being attacked but by the changelings' appearances and very existence.
(Flashback)
Young, 10 year old, Anti-Mario is trembling and about to shed tears from his eyes. The little gang of five changelings are making fun of him.
"You will never be like us! We are stronger and more powerful than you," said one of the Changelings.
"You're a freak!" said another Changeling.
All the five changelings laugh at the young Anti-Mario, and he's screaming
"Aaaraaaaaerg!"
(Present day)
"You're a freak….freak. Freak" said the Changeling voices, flashbacks, in Anti-Mario's head.
"Aaarraaaaaaagggg!" Anti-Mario screamed, "Knock it off!"
One of the changelings stared at Anti-Mario.
"Now, get lost before I finish you off!" yelled Anti-Mario, as his eyes glared a shade of red.
Changelings are suddenly shaking. Horrified at what Anti-Mario just told them. They ran off, leaving Anti-Mario with Rainbow and the countless ponies the changelings just attacked.
Rainbow picks one of the ponies up. It's a small little filly.
"Don't worry. They're gone now. You'll be okay." said Rainbow Dash, soothing the filly/kid up.
The filly smiles.
"T-thank you for saving us," the filly said, as she looked at both Rainbow and Anti-Mario.
Anti-Mario approaches the ponies that were already attacked by the Changelings, and he has a creepy, evil grin on his face.
The attacked ponies shake in terror of Anti-Mario,
"So. It looks like I need to deal with you all myself," said Anti-Mario,
Rainbow and the filly shake in horror.
Anti-Mario smiles
"MwHa hahahahahahahaha!", Anti-Mario laughs, "Say farewell to your pathetic lives!"
Anti-Mario snaps his fingers. Then, he uses his palms of both his hands, clapping them together to send out his gooey poison attack from his hands, attacking and eliminating nearly many of the formerly kidnapped ponies.
Before Anti-Mario can kill more than two ponies, Rainbow cries it out.
"STOPPP!" screamed Rainbow
Anti-Mario pauses his kill. His eyes turn back to normal grey-scale.
"Huh? What the-?" Anti-Mario said, shocked
"Just. Let them go. They did nothing to you. Also, killing innocents is just wrong and disgusting. You shouldn't do that. You don't have to be evil. Come on, let's leave them alone!" said Rainbow
"Well, Rainbow Crash. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't be evil?! Maybe then I'll have some compassion and let the rest of them go?!" said Anti-Mario, snapping at Rainbow
"It's just wrong. I understand you had a pretty awful upbringing but killing innocents for revenge is not the right way to go about it. Mario the Sonic Plush, your older brother, had a bad childhood himself yet he was able to overcome his evil side and stick to doing good. Perhaps you should do the same thing," said Rainbow
The filly shakes in fear of Anti-Mario, after his plan on genocide failed.
Anti-Mario keeps on shaking. He is recovering from the shock that he managed to kill two innocent ponies and was about to eliminate all of them out of anger. It then occurs to Anti-Mario that what Rainbow said to him might be right.
That very thought makes him shocked

The Arbiter is flying throughout Equestria. He then sees a certain big, evil man wearing a orange/dark red metallic, robotic suit, now sporting a cape.
He is Lord Zarkiar.
The Arbiter lands on the ground and faces Zarkiar.
"So. You must be the Arbiter, Thel 'Vadam aren't you?" asked Lord Zarkiar
"Yes, the one and only," said The Arbiter
"We haven't met officially, until now. I am Lord Zarkiar. Ruler of the Dark Palace and soon the entire kingdom of Equestria. I have heard all about you, your conquests and adventures. You say you are seeking Prince Mario Rodriguz," said Lord Zarkiar
"Yes, I am. I want to kick his ass. But what does this have to do with anything you are implying?" asked The Arbiter
Lord Zarkiar thinks up of a convincing lie
"The Prince of Equestria isn't necessarily a good guy. He wants to control you and me. He wants to control the entire world and become ruler of Equestria, overthrowing the princesses. He will imprison everyone who dares to turn against his evil and wicked ways. He is a tyrant that must be eliminated. Not even prison is good enough for him. I want you to find Mario the Sonic Plush, battle against him and destroy him for good." Lord Zarkiar lied
The Arbiter nods.
He then flies in the opposite direction, heading back towards where MTSP, Twilight and the others are.

Right near the Crystal Empire
Mario the Sonic Plush sighs.
"It's ten o' two and The Arbiter still isn't here yet for our battle." said MTSP
"Just shut the hell up, Mario. I am sure he'll be here." said Trixie
Rarity looks at Trixie with an angry glare on her face,
"Fuck you!" yelled Rarity,
Trixie glares at Rarity.
"I don't like where this is going," said Twilight,
"Me neither," said Kit
"Well, I don't know why Mario and Twilight are dating you. You are some ugly bipedal horse that is more obsessed with fashion and fancy clothing than anyone else!" said Trixie (A/N at this point in time, since Chapter 26, all the ponies are now anthropomorphic which means they now stand on two legs)
"Oh yeah?! Well, at least I am not some arrogant show off! Unlike you," said Rarity.
"Take that back! You do not insult the Great and Powerful Trixie!" Trixie yelled
"Grrrr" Rarity growled
"Grrrrrr" Trixie growled even louder
Eliza decided to stop the fighting.
"Stop the fighting! Calm down!" yelled Eliza
Rarity and Trixie both breathe.
"Rarity, Trixie is sorry that Trixie called you ugly and accused you of ignoring everyone," said Trixie
"And I am sorry for starting it by cussing at you, and for calling you a showoff," said Rarity
Trixie and Rarity then hug it out causing MTSP, Twilight, Eliza and even Kit to smile,
"Awwwwww"
Suddenly, The Arbiter is landing near MTSP. He looks at the prince with an angry look on his face.
"I've heard a lot about you." said The Arbiter,
Mario the Sonic Plush turns to face him.
"Yeah, like what?"
"Like the fact that you are a tyrant, and you wish to become the ruler of Equestria by overthrowing the princesses. You would imprison people who oppose your ways. I must do the honors of taking you down. Thanks to Lord Zarkiar of course, for telling me this plan," said The Arbiter,
MTSP snickers, as he lets out a laugh
"You seriously are going to trust that guy? The Lord ZARKIAR? The same foolish madman who tried to kill me and ones who allied with me on numerous occasions. He almost succeeded in literally ruling all of us, Equestria and even Earth. The worst is that he tricked us into thinking he changed but didn't. What a coward he is," said MTSP "The fact that you would even trust the crap he says is hilarious,"
The Arbiter starts to get angry but remains calm.
"You tyrannical piece of shit. I am going to destroy you once and for all," said The Arbiter
"Well then. I would like to see you try me," said MTSP
The Arbiter begins to perform his Shangelli martial arts. He attacks MTSP first by tackling him.
However, MTSP escapes his grasp.
"Dammit. It looks like I have to go harder on him..." said The Arbiter
The Arbiter uses his hidden claws, for a special beam attack that can hit the prince.
MTSP gets angrier enough to turn into Dark MTSP, his dark form, and begins to launch an attack against The Arbiter.
"Necroplasm BEAM!" yelled out Dark MTSP, as he attacks The Arbiter by using his new move, Necroplasm Beam.
He shoots blue Necroplasm beams from his hands.
The Arbiter shudders at the sight of his rival being so powerful.
The Arbiter, as a last result, cloaks. He then pulls out his energy sword to hopefully destroy the Prince once and for all.
The Arbiter, by using the energy sword, attacks the prince for real.
"Hi YA!" The Arbiter yelled out, as he destroys his rival for good
Dark Mario the Sonic Plush suddenly vanishes.
The Arbiter smirks.
"Finally. He's toast. Good riddance," said The Arbiter "Now to move on to bigger and better things,"
Gus, the Unggoy that was with him earlier, is horrified. He is shaking, in fear of his partner.
He nearly wanted to say something but he couldn't.
Gus knows MTSP is not really evil nor the tyrant The Arbiter thinks he is. Zarkiar just fed him these lies, when Zarkiar is dodging responsibility from his own crimes.
Twilight, Rarity, Trixie and Eliza are in a shock. The four girls begin to ball while Kit is just standing there, crossing his arms. Like he didn't care at all that MTSP was defeated.
"Hmph," Kit uttered
Eliza looks at Kit and angrily glares at him
"Seriously, Kit? You don't even care that our good friend Mario might have died against one of his sworn rivals? Geez you really are a jerk," said Eliza
Twilight sobs
"He has to be alive. Mario the Sonic Plush can't be dead!" yelled out Twilight
"Twi, he's dead. Face it. Trixie's cousin is dead. There's nothing that any of us can do," said Trixie
"Noooooo!" screamed out Rarity, as she sobs
Suddenly. MTSP (no longer in his dark form) then emerges and hits The Arbiter, knocking him down,
"Hello, motherfucker," said MTSP, with a smirk,
"H-how did you survive that?" asked The Arbiter.
The Arbiter is suddenly afraid. Afraid that MTSP will defeat him. He's never been this scared in a really long time.
Twilight, Rarity, Trixie, Eliza and Kit are relieved.
"It's simple. I can't die this easily just from one stupid attack. You think I wouldn't be able to do something as elementary as that? Well, you're wrong." said MTSP,
The Arbiter trembles. He's never been this scared at all about anyone but the look and smirk on MTSP's face is enough for the shangelli to shudder.
MTSP attacks The Arbiter again with another move.
"CHAOS BLASTTT!" yelled out MTSP, as he attacks The Arbiter with Chaos Blast,
The Arbiter screams.
The Arbiter faints and passes out. MTSP wins.
"Yes!" The prince smirked, happy to win the fight against his new rival,
Twilight, Trixie, Rarity, Eliza and Kit come over to congratulate him.
"Hey, Mr. Plush. Amazing job on your victory against that ugly looking alien. Congrats!" said Eliza,
"Trixie is proud of you," said Trixie
"I knew you could do it, darling! " said Rarity,
"We are very happy about this!" said Twilight,
Twilight and Rarity both kiss Mario the Sonic Plush, making him blush. He enjoys it.
Both anthro ponies back away from the kiss.
"Congratulations. You successfully defeated a gullible fool!" yelled out Kit,
MTSP, Eliza, Twilight, Rarity and Eliza looks at Kit when he bad mouthed The Arbiter
"KIT!" They all said, scolding him for being rude
"Ok, I'm sorry," said Kit
Eliza's expression changes to a smirk, and blush.
"Oh Kit. Your rudeness and asshole attitude is why I love you. In addition, you are a really nice, beautiful and wonderful person deep down," said Eliza, blushing like mad,
In a flash of blinding white light, it fully forms a familiar looking man in full body, metallic armor with a scary looking mask.
Lord Zarkiar has returned!
MTSP growls.
"I should have known you would come back to stop us again!" he yelled,
The Arbiter, still believing Zarkiar's lie, wakes up and looks angrily at the prince,
"You…you monster. You did this to me! You are a tyrant and always will be in death," said The Arbiter,
Gus yells out to The Arbiter,
"Zarkiar lied to you! He's the real bad guy, not Prince Mario!"
The Arbiter, still paralyzed from the fight, is shocked at what Gus had said. He looks back at Lord Zarkiar.
"What? Is that…true?" asked The Arbiter
Lord Zarkiar simply laughs.
"Correct answer, kid. Let's just say I tricked you into believing Prince Mario the Sonic Plush was the bad guy so you would have killed him. I lied! He needed to be dealt with. I am the overlord! I don't care, I am evil. I like it this way!" Zarkiar said,
The Arbiter growls, angry that he's been deceived all this time,
"You heartless monster! You…lied to me! Bastard!" yelled The Arbiter,
"And? I don't care. You are no longer of any use to me" said Zarkiar.
Zarkiar points his hand towards the ground, sending a beam, preparing to assassinate The Arbiter.
"I won't let that happen…" said MTSP,
However, MTSP dodges the attack, and the beam disappears, saving The Arbiter's life.
Zarkiar is horrified at what MTSP just did.
Twilight, Rarity, Eliza, and Trixie smile. They are happy that MTSP saved someone from Lord Zarkiar's murderous wrath.
Even Kit, as much as he doesn't like or trust The Arbiter, is happy MTSP saved him from Zarkiar. He instead, crosses his arms with a tough attitude look on his face.
Eliza chuckles at Kit's expression.
Eliza looks straight back at the scene.
"Way to go!" yelled out Trixie,
"Nice." said Eliza
Twilight and Rarity clap. Both girls ran up and hugged him.
MTSP blushes.
Lord Zarkiar walks up to MTSP. He takes his hand.
"I'd make a deal to all of you. If I go with you, I will help you figure out how to defeat Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra and the Changelings." said Zarkiar
MTSP growls.
"You liar! Why should we trust anything you say?!" yelled MTSP
"What makes you think we would believe you after all the damage you have caused, Zarkiar?!" yelled Eliza
Twilight, Rarity and Trixie are pissed as well. Kit chooses to remain neutral while crossing his arms & closing his eyes.
The Arbiter looks at MTSP.
"Prince Mario let's not be mad at each other. As far as we know, you won. That said, it doesn't mean we still are not rivals." said The Arbiter
"I know." said Mario the Sonic Plush
"If you want a rematch, just tell me. I'll be around." said The Arbiter
Gus looks at MTSP, Kit, Eliza, Twilight, Trixie, and Rarity. He smiles, feeling happy that his friend and the prince are no longer bitter or mad towards each other.
Gus runs up to hug Mario the Sonic Plush.
"Wai-woah! What?!" said the prince, all in shock as Gus is hugging him tightly.
The Arbiter cracks a smile and everyone else laughs. Even Kit is laughing.
Gus breaks from the hug. He and The Arbiter then leave. The Arbiter & Gus wave to the six, and the six wave back to them.
Lord Zarkiar looks at MTSP.
"We still got a deal, right?" asked Zarkiar
"Sure but on one condition. You better not be working for them the whole time, and you better not be lying into our faces about it only to betray us. We still do not like you but we are willing to work together to beat a greater foe. I really hope you don't throw this out of the window and double cross us." said Mario the Sonic Plush
"I will try not to…" said Zarkiar
MTSP is baffled at his old, main arch-nemesis's response.
"What WAS That?!" yelled MTSP
"I said, I won't do that." said Zarkiar
An old Korean War plane suddenly is seen flying in, through the skies of Equestria. Almost throughout all Cloudsdale, and then near the Crystal Empire where MTSP, Twilight, Eliza, Kit, Rarity and Trixie are.
An elderly, 81-year-old blue hedgehog who resembles Mario the Sonic Plush, complete with a gray mustache, aged fur and wrinkled muzzle, is the one flying the plane, as he lands down on the ground.
MTSP is shocked to see the familiar man. MTSP yells out.
"Grandpa?!"
Zarkiar is also there right next to the prince, surprised to see double.
"Huh?! There's two of them now?!" Lord Zarkiar said, baffled by the elderly hedgehog's appearance.
