When you kill someone make sure they're dead.

I sighed as I lay down on my bed, relishing in the comfort of the mattress. "Today was nuts," I said to no one in particular. I frowned slightly as I remembered Viser, and then the Light Spear. "Someone's trying to kill Rias… But who?" I muttered.
After the attempted assassination on Rias, I didn't want to leave her side. But after a joint effort between Akeno, and Rias herself, I was convinced that with Rias sleeping in the mansion given to her by her older brother, which was full of Devils who would protect Rias with their lives, I had relented, but only on the condition that Akeno stayed with Rias as added protection.
My mind then wandered to the Light spear once again. Rias had theorized that it was the work of a Fallen Angel, as 'Pure' Angels looked down upon assassinations and were typically very chivalrous and fair fighters. Added on that the Light spear was so powerful that no normal human could cast such a thing, and exorcists would be unable to properly exercise a Devil with a ranged attack.
I had asked what Exorcism would do to a Devil, and as soon as I learned that It was basically wiping your entire soul clean, I decided to never die at the hands of an Exorcist, if I ever had to meet one.
Sighing once again, I closed my eyes as I attempted to fall asleep. But as I did, I noticed something.
Sitting up, I focused on the Aura. It was faint, as if someone was trying to conceal it, and I couldn't locate it. Trying to grab onto the Aura, my eyes widened with surprise when I felt how similar it was to Koneko. But it was different at the same time, older, more mature, stronger, and filled with despair, solitude and hate. But before I could dwell any further, I noticed a red glow coming from the floor of my room. I frowned, unintentionally losing the Aura that I sensed, and I cursed silently. But all thoughts of the strange Aura vanished as I saw Koneko and Kiba appear, both wearing worried looks on their faces.

I growled as white-hot rage burned within me. "Who did this?" I snarled as I gazed at the wounded form of Akeno who was laying on one of the couches unconscious.
Kiba and Koneko had received a distress signal from Akeno, and they had moved as fast as they could to Rias' house. But they were too late. By the time they arrived the mansion was in ablaze, Rias was gone, Akeno was unconscious, and every devil in the house was either dead or on its door. When neither Kiba nor Koneko answered, I yelled, "WHO DID THIS!" as I slammed my fist into Rias' desk so hard that it split down the middle, cracking the ground below. "Hunter! Anger won't fix this." Kiba warned. Turning on the Blonde I was ready to attack, but seeing the defiant and determined look on his face I stopped, before growling, "Do we at least know where Rias is?" Again, Kiba and Koneko glanced at each other, before sharing a nod. "Yes… we do… they uh… left us a message" Kiba said hesitantly. I frowned, "Left a message? That's good Kiba." I said, but as I saw the looks on Kiba's and Koneko's faces turn pale, I gulped. "What's wrong?" I asked. Kiba gulped as well, before saying, "They spelt it out with Bodies and blood." My blood ran cold at Kiba's words. 'Who could do such a thing?' "What did it say?" I asked, dreading the answer. "Forest," Kiba said, looking me in the eye. "The forest, Midnight tomorrow." I snarled, "Until then. Heal Akeno, we're going to need her help." as Kiba and Koneko nodded, I clenched my fists.
Whoever did this, would pay in blood.

As Akeno and Koneko darted through the forest, Akeno could only remember what had happened upon their arrival.
Kiba's face was determined, confident, and somehow calm despite the situation. But, as Akeno had seen the face of Hunter she was left speechless. Hunter's face, usually, was calm, even, like a clear blue sky. But it was completely different now. The fires of fury had been ignited within Hunter's soul, and that anger burned brighter than anything Akeno had ever seen from Hunter before. His face was marked by the desire for vengeance, and a slimmer of Hunter's seemingly endless Will was shown upon his face.
Nothing could make Hunter surrender, not a single or a thousand Fallen would stop him. In fact, Akeno doubted anything but Death would stop him.
Yet the most touching and shocking part of Hunter's devotion and rage. Was, how little fuel there was for the fire. Hunter knew Rias the least, and shortest out of them all, and so he had little reason to be as furious as he was. Akeno had wondered what fueled the fire, what truly lit the flames within.
But she knew.
It was loyalty.
It was Commitment.
And sheer fucking will.
Suddenly, both Akeno and Koneko stopped, their eyes searching the surroundings.
They were being watched, and they were close. "Who's there?" Akeno called looking around. In response to her words, the sound of slow clapping emerged, quickly becoming louder and closer until a Fallen Angel appeared before them.
She was slightly shorter than Akeno, likely being around 5'5, with light black flowing hair that went down to just above her waist. She had a petite, smooth frame, and wore a Black Lingerie Dress with stockings, making her appear more ready for bed than combat. She also had some silky black gloves connected to her middle fingers. Her eyes were a soft oceanic blue, and she had painted her nails the same colour. And her large wings were a soft black.
"Hello, My name is Habriel. It's a pleasure to meet you" the Fallen said kindly. Narrowing her eyes, Akeno called upon her magical power as she readied for combat. Akeno could sense it, this Habriel, was as powerful as her, but with Koneko by her side, they could win. "Where is the other one?" Koneko asked blankly. Akeno flinched at Koneko's bland words, and Habriel smiled, "Asia, you can come out now." at Habriel's words another Fallen Angel appeared, distrust clear on her face.
The 2nd girl, was even shorter than the last. She was only 5'1, with long flowing blonde hair that went all the way down to her back. She also had split bangs over her forehead and soft green eyes. She wasn't nearly as developed as herself, or even Habriel, but still had Koneko beat. She wore what looked like a dark version of a nun's outfit, with a large black veil, and a long coat that went along the backside of her legs, with another long piece of cloth that went down the middle of her legs, which was completely visible.
"This is Asia Argento, our third heart, just like me. Although I consumed 2 hearts." Habriel said simply, prompting Akeno and Koneko to look at one another confused as to why Habriel would just share that information with them. However Akeno was concerned about something else that she could sense within Asia, "Asia has a sacred Gear. " she whispered, and Koneko nodded in response. "I'm sorry. But are you the Devil's known as Akeno and Koneko?" Habriel asked curiously. Both her eyes and Koneko's, widened in response to this and Habriel sighed in disappointment. "I'm sorry but you must die. Ramiel's orders"

White hot rage burned within me like a furnace, as I ran through the forest.
Stretching my senses to their absolute maximum, I disregarded anything and anyone that wasn't Rias. Continuing our search of the east side, I glanced at Kiba, whose face had yet to return from the steely determination that he had the day before when he had revealed what had happened.
Suddenly, I felt Rias' aura. It was faint, weak, but unmistakably hers, and my eyes lit up. "Kiba, this way" I ordered, catching the knight's attention. Sharing a nod, we both turned around and rushed in the direction of Rias Gremory.
Finally, we arrived in a clearing, and as my gaze shot towards the other side, my heart clenched in pain. Rias was beaten and injured, tied up to a tree at the other end of the clearing. "Rias!" I shouted as I rushed towards her. Looking up, a multitude of emotions flashed across Rias' face. Shock, Disbelief, Hope, Joy, Fear, and then Dread. "Hunter? Kiba? What are you doing here?" Rias asked. Reaching Rias' side, I grabbed the ropes that bound her and began to pull on them, trying to free her, but as soon as I touched them a burning pain flared through my hands, the shock of which made me retract my hands with a hiss of pain. "What the?" I asked in confusion as I stared at the ropes. "Devils are here," a monotone voice said, so eerily familiar to Koneko it made me shiver. Turning around, my eyes widened as a Fallen Angel descended into the clearing.
She was only 4'7 in height, roughly Koneko's height, and seemed to be dressed in an evil maid outfit from the 60s with dark teal, and light grey shades. She had waist-length hair, that was a ghostly grey, and plain almost emotionless pink eyes.
All in all, she was eerily similar to a fallen angel Koneko.
"Who are you?" I asked, stepping in front of Rias with narrowed eyes. But the girl didn't respond, instead, another did. "What a surprise. The Devil's slaves came to save their whore of a master." an unfamiliar male voice said from the shadows, filled with malice. I narrowed my eyes as a new presence filled the air around me. 'Such hate, such Malice. It's overwhelming, and yet, the power of the Aura itself. It's almost pathetic. But something's wrong with it, something different about it. Like they're not a true Fallen Angel.' Rias gasped as she heard the voice "No… It can't be" she said in fear. Then, the voice began to laugh, as a male Fallen Angel emerged from the shadows.
He was 5'7, and had a muscular build. Both his hair and eyes were the same shade of brown, and his hair was short and spiky, with two short locks sprouting from behind his head. He wore the uniform of Kuoh Academy, in a similar fashion to my own, but with a red shirt rather than a black one. And had two large Fallen wings spreading from his back.
"Recognize me Rias?" the man asked, growling Rias' name with enough hatred to kill a man. "Is it… really you?" Rias asked in shock and disbelief, and glancing back at her I saw recognition and shame etched deep into her face. The man laughed, "Of course it is me. Surprised? Last time you saw me I was bleeding out on the floor." the stranger's voice turned to a growl as he spoke the last part. "I'm almost happy that a Devil such as yourself would remember me." I narrowed my eyes yet again as I glared at the new arrival, "Do you know him Rias?" I asked, but she didn't respond, instead looking away in shame, while the man spread his arms and laughed maniacally. "Don't be so rude, Rias! Of course, she does! She's the one who left me to die at the hands of another. And you, you must be the new guy. Wanna know how I know Rias?" he asked. After a moment of silence, I nodded. 'Rias doesn't want to talk. And I need to know who this guy is. And why he feels so dangerous with such a small Aura.' the Fallen scoffed, before speaking.
"Before you attended Kuoh, I did. I was the one whose spot you took, the vacancy you filled." the Fallen explained, "And, about 4 days before you arrived at Kuoh, I met a lovely nun called Asia Argento. I showed her around town, we talked, we laughed. But it was on that very same night, both her and I were attacked by a Fallen Angel who called herself 'Yuuma'" I gasped at the name, and the Fallen smiled, "So, you've met her too. It doesn't take a genius to know that 'Yuuma' wasn't her real name. Her real name is Raynare." 'Raynare.' I thought, "But what's Yu-Raynare got to do with Rias?" I asked, the Fallen held up a hand, "Well you see. Rias, and the rest of her filthy Devil servants, knew who Raynare truly was. But instead of saving our asses, they decided to let us die, all because Rias wanted us to serve her as her Devil servants. But when the time came, and we were bleeding out on the ground, our bodies turning cold, she decided that I wasn't good enough, that we weren't good enough, that we weren't worth it." the Fallen spat in Rias' direction, "Luckily for me, and Asia. Olivia, another Fallen Angel, was nearby. She decided to save us, to Reincarnate us into Fallen Angels to serve under her King. In fact, I'm nearly thankful that Rias decided to let us bleed. Because I hate Devils and Loathe her, and all the Devil's who serve her."
My eyes were wide in disbelief, and turning slowly I looked at Rias, "Is this true?' I asked, glancing at Kiba, I could see the Shame and regret written across his face plain as day, and I returned my gaze to Rias just as she nodded. "It's true. All of it," she said with remorse. My heart reached new depths as I heard that. 'Rias. Let two people die. Because they weren't good enough? What makes me worthy? What makes me better? Karate? Physical strength?' But as I looked at the Fallen, whose eyes were filled with deranged hatred, I clenched my jaw, as I remembered what Rias had told me, about what separated me and the Strays 'No. It's what makes him worse. This hatred. This Loathing and Malic that he radiates, that has consumed him. He's like the stray we fought before.' the fallen laughed. "I'm almost sorry for you. Having to serve that Bitch, and follow all of her filthy orders. It would make me sick. That Bitch is Heartless."
Hearing the Fallen's words, I snarled and shouted, "Stormbreaker!" my Sacred Gear appeared on my right hand. Pointing my hand at the Fallen, a Lightning Bolt shot towards him, tossing him into a tree. "I don't care if Rias is Heartless. I don't care if she left you for dead. In the end, if that is all it took to turn you into this. Then I can see why. But it doesn't matter. Because Rias Gremory is my friend. And I will fight for her!" I shouted, lowering myself into a fighting stance.
As the smoke cleared, I could see the Fallen coughing, and he snarled as he jumped to his feet. But when he saw Stormbreaker, a massive grin spread across his face. "You call that a Sacred Gear?" the Fallen began to laugh as he raised his left hand, and a bright green glow erupted from it. "Take a good look Devil. This is a real Sacred Gear!"
As the glow faded, it revealed a large gauntlet that had appeared on the Fallen's Arm. Covering both his entire hand, and forearm, it was pure Red in colour, with a Green Jewel where the back of the hand would be, and 2 large golden spikes that manifested on his arm.
My mouth went dry as I sensed the power that came from the Gauntlet, it was overwhelming, and unlike anything else I had ever felt, ancient, powerful. It put everyone and everything I had felt to complete shame. "This is the Boosted Gear of the 13 Longinus, which houses the soul of the Red Dragon Emperor of Domination Ddraig, one of the strongest dragons to ever exist! And it doubles my power every ten seconds, allowing me to surpass the greatest Devils and God himself at will! This is a true Sacred Gear!" the Fallen said and my eyes widened. 'Doubles his power. Every ten seconds?' I thought. The Fallen grinned pointing the gauntlet at me.
"And I almost forgot. As the wielder of this Gear. I am known as the Red Dragon Emperor. And my name, Is Issei Hyoudou"
