HEY GUYS! I am sorry I haven't updated this story in a minute, I just wanna thank everyone for the feedback especially because this is my first time writing any kind of fanfiction! I thought since we are in quarantine and my classes are dragging why not update the story?! Anyways I hope you guys enjoy it!

Tori's POV

I open my eyes and instantly grab my head because it is throbbing so much I feel like it's gonna explode, I stand up while looking down at the pool of blood from my injuries my dad had caused last night when I got home.

I walked over to the bathroom and I opened the door and closed it shut behind me. I walk towards the mirror hesitantly, too afraid to see the damage he did to me this time.

I lifted up my shirt, and there were bright red bruises on my rib cage, I reached out and touched it.

"Ahhhh" and I took off my shirt to examine how many other injuries this man had left on me. Upon doing that I noticed bruises on my shoulder and on my chest, the funny thing I was so numb inside I couldn't feel any of the pain.

*BANG BANG BANG* "Tori are you in there? Hurry up, I need to get ready for school" Trina said.

I rolled my eyes " yeah I'll be out in a few Trina"

I lied, instead I just reached for the shower knobs and turned the hot and cold water on, I jumped in letting the hot stream down my body. I started to replay the events from last night at Jade's party

Lord Jade, my stomach started to turn last night when I saw that blonde bimbo all over her, the thing is I've been in love with Jade ever since I first started at Hollywood Arts. I guess you can say it was love at first sight. But a part of me knew I could never pull a girl like that especially with how complicated my life was.

I turned off the faucet and grabbed a towel and dried off and put on my clothes and week straight to my room ignoring Trina

" What the hell Tori?! I have been waiting 30 minutes" Trina said looking at me angrily

I just rolled my eyes *SLAM* of the sound of my door shut in her face.

I opened my closet to see what clothes I was gonna wear today to hide my wounds. I pulled out a long-sleeved black V-neck shirt and some black ripped jeans to go with my combat boots. After finishing letting my hair dry, I went downstairs to get some paper towels to clean up the blood.

Apart from me felt a sigh of relief when I saw he was not downstairs. Don't get me wrong I still love my dad even though he treats me differently when he's drunk.

I walked back upstairs and cleaned up the blood and threw away the paper towels and grabbed my bag and headed out for school.

*RING RING* My phone rang, I looked up to see it was Andre calling me so I hit the green button on my pear pod.

"Hey, chica you need a ride to school? I thought I could give you a ride to see if you were okay after the whole incident with Jade" Andre said.

"Ummm, yeah that's fine I am at my house"

10 minutes later I hear a car horn honking loud in my driveway I figured that was Andre

I walked up to his Toyota Camry car and opened the passenger side door and slid in.

"Hey chica what's going on?" Andre said with the biggest smile on his face as he reached over to hug me

I watched as he hugged me trying not to show that I was in pain because I didn't want anyone knowing what my dad had been doing to me for the past 10 years of my life.

As I pulled back from the hug I replied "Yeah I am good Andre, just a little bit hungover from last night" while rubbing my eyes after I had yawned

"Yeah that party was fucking insane, it got worst after you left," Andre said while pulling out of my driveway heading towards school.

"Well, what happened? Give me the details" I said looking at me curiously.

"Well after you left we started playing spin the bottle, I ended up landing on Robbie, Cat landed on Beck and then next thing I know everyone is making out with someone and bumping and grinding and then Jade, don't get me star…"

He stopped mid-sentence when he saw the look in my eye change when he mentioned her name, I felt a pain in my heart when I was waiting for him to finish.

"Oh shoot I'm sorry Tori I forgot you're not over her yet are you?" Andre said his voice lowering

"No I am obviously not, it's not like I can wake up one day and all of the feelings I had built for her can go, poof," I said sarcastically while waving my hand like I had a magic wand. "Trust me, if it were up to me, I would've had that happen a long time ago so it would spare me the pain of falling for a girl like Jade West, the most popular girl in school, who I can never have!" I said sadly while looking out the window as the tears started to well up in my eyes.

"Hey, it's gonna be alright, for all you Jade has feelings for you and is too scared to admit them," He said while putting a reassuring hand on my arm.

Just as he finished that sentence "PING", it was my phone I got a text message from.

My heart jumped a beat when I saw her name pop up in my phone, her contact name was Jade with a scissor emoji and a black heart emoji, how fitting right?

Hey Vega, you okay?

"Well no but since you messaged me I am a little bit better," I thought to myself.

Yeah I'm fine, I wasn't feeling well night sorry I had to leave early

"You're texting her right now aren't you?" Andre said with an eyebrow raised while looking at me.

"No," I said, lying.

"Oh girl come on, I am one of your best friends, how big you smiled, it had to be her '' Andre said while laughing.

Damn it he called my bluff, this is why I hate that he knows me so well.

"Alright fine you caught me," I said just as we pulled into the school parking lot, I walked towards the building that read HOLLYWOOD ARTS in big letters and took a deep breath.

"Let's get this over with," I thought to myself realizing I would have to see Jade in order to get through this day
