Tori's POV

I walked into Hollywood Arts with Andre by side as we were having talking about what his grandma had done now

"And I told her grandma when you hear the doorbell ring it doesn't mean your house is gonna blow up," Andre said while he and I were both laughing while I was changing the books from my locker for my next few classes

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Cat's bright red hair which meant Jade was probably close behind

I rolled my eyes as I saw Jade appear by her with her cup in hand, her and Cat were talking about something and I closed my locker and me and Andre had to decide to head to class

Unfortunately, that meant having to pass by Cat and Jade, I took a deep breath and walked past her with my head held high

"Hey Vega, wait up a sec" Jade's voice hollered out, her and Cat sped up walk to I and Andre

"Hey Andre! Hey Tori" Cat's voice echoed out loudly

"Hey little Red" Andre said giving a Cat a side hug and I was a little distanced from them, "hey Cat, and Jade"

I tried everything not to look into Jade's eye because lord I knew once I did I would melt because she just had these brown eyes you could get lost forever in

"Why did you leave my party so early on Saturday?" Jade asked while taking a sip of her coffee

I panicked, I couldn't tell her the real reason why I left, I brought my hand to the back of my head and rubbed it to calm me down

"Ummmm, well I wasn't feeling that well and I didn't wanna be a party pooper so I bounced and walked home" I said while looking down at the floor in order to avoid her gaze

"Well I hope you feel better, you missed a pretty sweet party," she said smirking "but it wasn't the same without you," Jade said while putting her hand on my arm, instantly my heart sped up and I felt butterflies in my stomach and I felt like my heart jumped into my throat

"Wow I think that's the nicest thing you said to me all year Jade, wow," I said wide eyes

"Alright well don't push it Vega" she said rolling her eyes

Annnnnnd we're right back

We all walked off into Sikowitz class, laughing about a story about what Cat's brother had done now

Andre and I walked over to where Beck was sitting all exchange high fives, Andre was conveniently seated next to Robbie, Beck was next to me, Cat was in front of Beck and I was behind Jade

Sikowtiz had climbed through the window with a coconut in hand of course, Beck said the reason he drinks them is because they give him visions

"Hello class! Today we are gonna do an exercise where I will pair you up and you will have to play a married couple, you can be newlyweds, an old married couple or a couple that hates each other BUT you must be conveing because the most convincing will get extra credit!" He said smiling "this should be good" while he said while sipping his coconut

"Alright, Andre and Robbie, Cat and Beck and lastly" he said while looking at me and Jade "Tori and Jade"

My eyes went wide, I was petrified because I had to pretend to be a married couple of some sort with Jade, I mean this is the girl I have been strung up since forever now

I was lost in my thoughts but little did I fail to realize that Jade had turned around and was trying to talk to me "Vega!" *BANG BANG* Jade's hand hit on my desk and I nearly jumped out my seat

"Yeah Jade what's up?" I said while shaking my head

"I was thinking we can play a newlywed couple, are you okay with it?" She said while leaning to one said with her head resting on her hand and a pen in the other

"Yeah sure whatever you want to do, just let me know what I have to do" I said slightly smiling and while bouncing my foot up and down under the desk

Before you know it was 20 minutes up and we had to present our scene, Andre and Robbie were first and they picked to be a couple that hated each other

Cat and Beck decided to act out an old married and they were so cute

And last but not least was me and Jade I was just hoping this would be quick and painless and we would run out of time in class

"Honey I am home!" I said loudly in my best male voice while standing there pretending to hold a brief case

"Oh dear you are home! How was work?" Jade while running up to me and kissing me on the cheek, as soon as her lips landed on my cheek I felt like my heart was beating out of my chest

"Well work was busy and I am just grateful to be home now love" I said while wrapping my arms around her and placing on my head on her shoulder

I took a deep breath trying to slow down my heart and relax, but when I did I smelt her shampoo that smells like cherry blossom and her perfume which smells like vanilla

For a minute I felt like I was a little dizzy and on cloud nine but I had to come back down to Earth

"How was your day babe" I said while holding her a little bit tighter and closer to my body

"It was good I went and had some brunch with my friends and talked about some stuff" Jade while turning around and facing me and playing with the loose strands of my hair that weren't in my messy bun and smiling and looking into her eyes deeply

FUCK! So much for not looking her in the eyes

I gulped and smiled nervously

"Can I say something?" she said while caressing my cheek

"Yes what's up" I said nervously while gripping her waist little tighter

"I am so happy that I married you, marrying you was the best decision I ever could have made, I love you Tori" she said smiling while leaning her forehead against me

Before I could even realize what was happening, next thing I knew I felt Jades soft big full lips on mine, I couldn't move I felt paralyzed

Instead of fighting it, I just gave into it and closed my eyes to be in that moment with her, as if it was just us in the room

*RINNNNNNNNNNNNG* Before I knew it the class bell had rung and I had opened my eyes, I ran out the class and grabbed my bag without saying anything to anyone, leaving Jade and everyone up their stunned

I ran so fast I had no idea where I was running to, but I had to get away

Away from Jade, away from school, away from myself

Next thing I know is I'm by a pond in a park, I kneel over putting my hands on my knees gasping for air, I take a seat on the bench try to process everything that just happened with me and Jade

I mean that kiss wasn't really right? Yeah to you it was I thought to myself, I felt everything in that kiss, I guess wish I knew if she felt it too it sucks

*PING PING* I pull my phone out of my back pocket and look to see it was a text from Andre

Hey chica where tf did you run off to? Are you okay?

I sighed and looked at the pond to see a bunch of baby ducks swimming with its mother, I smiled and couldn't help but think about being a parent one day myself

*PING PING* I look at my phone assuming it was Andre, although he did call me several times and I ignored and texted me about 50 times, I was surprised to see a message from Jade

Hey Vega, I hope I didn't scare you off too much with that kiss, and we got the extra credit, so thanks

By the way you have some soft lips ;)

My stomach did somersaults when I read Jade's message, she said I had soft lips? What does that suppose to mean?

Deep in my own thoughts I failed to realize where I was going

*THUD THUD*

"Ow fuck" I said while rubbing my knee which was scrapped and bleeding a little, I look up to see a blonde girl with hazel eyes, she kinda reminded me of Ashley Benson

I look over to see she had also fallen and also got her cup spilt all over her, I insistently felt like an ass so I jumped up to help her up

"Oh I am so sorry about bumping into you like that and your shirt too," I said while gently grabbing her arm to help her up, I was scared she was gonna go all crazy on me

"Don't worry I am fine, I am not the one bleeding" she said while pointing to my knee cap and dusting off her shirt

"Ehhh I have had a worst injury this isn't anything," I said nonchalantly shrugging it off like it was no big deal

"I am Skylar," she said while holding out her hand and smiling at me

"I am Tori," I said shaking her hand back and smiling nervously and chuckling

"Hey listen, it's all good about the shirt, trust me I have done the same thing before too, deep in thought huh?" she said while nodding to me

"Yeah it's there a lot going on in my head and I don't know how to make it stop," I said while putting my hands on the side of my head

"Must be about a guy or girl?" she said while crossing her arms over her chest "trust me I have been there before"

So I decided to walk her home and it wasn't too far from my house it was only like a 20-minute walk, and of course, we talked about Jade and everything under the sun

"Well here's my stop," she said while opening up her gate but she turned around to face me

"Listen, Tori, if you really want Jade go for it, who cares if you get your heart broken, that is unavoidable and apart of everyday life, you will never know unless you try," she said while taking my jacket off her shoulders and returning it back to me and kissed my cheek

I turned red of course, "Jade is lucky to have a girl like you, maybe she needs to realize that" she said while leaning her head against her gate

"Yeah I hope so too," I said while shoving my hands deep into my pockets sighing

"Wait, give me your phone," she says while holding out her hand, I raised an eyebrow confused on why she wanted my phone

I pulled out my phone and handed it to her unlocked, "I am giving you my number in case you need it, just call or text whichever you prefer" she said while smiling. She put her name as Skylar with a moon emoji next to it

"Thanks," I said while smiling and walking away as she went into her gate and closed it and went into the house

I started to head in the direction of my house, it was late at night and I knew my father was gonna kill me when I got home

Before I walked in the door I had texted Jade back

Hey, yeah I am fine I wasn't feeling well so I went home but hey I can't take all the credit, you made it convincing enough with that kiss

And you are a pretty good kisser yourself there ;)

I took a deep breath and hit sent and reached for my keys to unlock my front door

I heard the TV playing and I saw the beer cans in front of the TV, I tried to quietly go up to my room

But a strong hand grabbed my forearm and turned me around, I was face to face with my father "where the fuck were you so late" he said, his eyes were bloodshot and I can see the anger in his house

WOOOAH cliff hanger! How will Tori respond to her dad? Will she go all in and tell Jade how she feels? Who really is this new girl and how does she play into all of this? Next Chapter will be in Jade's POV so stay tuned!
