DRAGON LORD
A JACKIE CHAN FILM
(rated R by the MPAA and rated PG by the ACB)
"Dragon Lord" is a 1982 Hong Kong martial arts comedy film directed by Jackie Chan. The film follows the misadventures of Dragon, the son of a Chinese aristocrat. Dragon is constantly in trouble and prefers skipping his lessons. When he tries to send a love note via a kite, it lands on the roof of a gang of thieves planning to steal artifacts from a temple. Dragon interferes with their plans and gets entangled in a fight. The film showcases elaborate stunt action sequences in a period setting, bridging Chan's earlier kung fu comedy films and his later stunt-oriented modern action movies. The opening bun festival scene, originally intended as the film's ending, was moved to create a spectacular opening. Dragon Lord is a delightful blend of action, comedy, and adventure, featuring Jackie Chan's signature style and charisma.
RETURN OF DRAGON!
Dragon Lord never got an official sequel, because it was a semi-sequel to Chan's 1980 film "The Young Master". So I thought of the idea of making a fanfiction for this movie at school. This fanfiction includes themes from "Snake in The Eagle's Shadow", "Enter the Dragon" and "The Young Master".
I present to you, an unofficial sequel to Dragon Lord.
