they're not allowed to have any sweets so don't let them tell you otherwise." Bruce

"What did they do?" Barbra

"They swapped out the suit I was supposed to wear to the Gala yesterday." Bruce

"May I ask what you ended up wearing?" Barbra

"No you may not it's embarrassing." Bruce

"Sure thing later Bruce." Barbra

They both hang up. Barbra immediately starts laughing, and hopes Dick has a video. The day goes exactly as planed. Three o'clock arrives before they know it Dick says.

"We're going out for awhile. See you later Bruce." Dick

"Have fun you two." Bruce

"We will. Thanks Bruce." Kanna and Dick

Kanna and Dick leave the room, and go over to Barbra Gordons house.

Kanna and Dick are enjoying visiting Barbra, and yes Dick does occasionally tease Barbra for what he saw in Kanna's Mirror. This however led into Kanna explaining about her being a yokai, and exactly what that means for her future. She also told them about the evil Naraku, and how lucky she is to have escaped him. Having had enough of heavy conversation Barbra changes the subject to whether they should go to the movies, or a restaurant meal, or both, and it is decided that they will do both. They see an entertaining movie, and then have a very delicious meal in an expensive restaurant. After dinner they go their separate ways, and tell their respective parents all about their day out.

The evening of the next day Kanna was supposed to have gone to bed, but she couldn't sleep because she sensed an electrical charge speeding into the city. Encase something happens Kanna does something she hasn't done in a while she puts on her kimono then grabs her Mirror, and goes to find Bruce encase he needs her help. She gets to the Bat Cave just as Bruce, Dick, and Flash are getting ready to leave, and giggles when she sees Alfred flick a crumb off his nose. Alfred looks at her, and says.

"What are you doing down here young lady?" Alfred

"I was getting to sleep when I sensed an unusual electrical charge speed into the city, and so I got dressed then grabbed my Mirror, and came down here to see if Bruce needs my help." Kanna

"You know about Master Bruce and Master Dick's night life?" Alfred

"Yes, but normally I don't get involved because I have had my fill of violence. This time however there is something about this situation that deeply worries me, and I want to help Bruce put a stop to it in anyway I can." Kanna

"Oh very well we'll monitor the situation from here." Alfred

"Thanks Alfred." Kanna

Alfred smiles at Kanna, and goes over to the computer with Kanna following behind him.

The three heroes get back to the Bat Cave to find Kanna standing next to Alfred in her Kimono with her Mirror in hand, and The Batman says.

"Aren't you supposed to be in bed Kanna?" The Batman

"I couldn't sleep because this whole situation worries me greatly, and so I came to help in any way I can." Kanna

The Batman smirks, and walks off to the computer to figure out Mirror Master's plan. The Batman is having a hard time figuring out what Mirror Master is building with the stolen parts, but Kanna who was watching the whole conversation is starting to get an idea of what the end goal is, but not how he is going to achieve it, and says.

"I think I might have figured out what he is trying to do, but not how he is going to achieve his goal precisely." Kanna

Bruce stares at Kanna in a way that demands an explanation, and she says.

"I think that Mirror Master is planing to some how use mirrors to incapacitate the rich people in Gotham so he can rob them unhindered, but I have no idea how he is planning to accomplish this." Kanna

Bruce nods, and gets back to work keeping what Kanna said in mind as a highly possible motive. Bruce becomes annoyed by Flashes incessant pacing.

Bruce figures out what Mirror Master is up to just as the citizens of Gotham are trapped in their own reflections. The Batman figures out where Mirror Master is hiding while he carries out his nefarious scheme then him and Flash go to confront Mirror Master. After they are gone Kanna walks up to Alfred and Dick then says.

"Need a little help there Dick?" Kanna

"Just do something to get me out of here will ya!" Dick

"Sure thing Dick." Kanna

After saying this Kanna's Mirror glows blue, and she cancels out the affect of Mirror Masters device freeing them from their reflections.

Flash and The Batman manage to defeat Mirror Master, and restore Gotham to how it should be. Flash takes Mirror Master back to Central City, and then does a quick check of Gotham to make sure that everything is back to normal. When he is checking on the Bat Cave he says.

"Just checking." Flash

Before he leaves he sees Kanna's glowing Mirror, and figures out that this girl has the same powers as Mirror Masters devices. He guesses that it wasn't them that saved the butler and the sidekick, and Flash hopes that Bruce will raise her to be an honest person with good heart to match. Flash leaves the cave, and the remaining people wonder what that was all about. Followed shortly by where Bruce is, and once he returns they go to bed.

Everything returns to normal with the exception that Bruce is training Kanna to fight even though he has made it clear that she is not going to be joining them in crime fighting, and that this training is for her defense. Bruce also tells Kanna that when he dies she will inherit all of his Bat-a-rangs, and Kanna nods with a serious look on her face before returning to her training. Bruce knows that Kanna is a Yokai, and is therefore immortal which means that she will out live them all. Bruce is instilling morality in Kanna that will enable her to face whatever life throws her way. When they are gone it is Bruce's hope that Kanna will go somewhere with other Immortals, but is as far away from her place of birth as she can get.

Kanna is so happy that she finally has a family instead of an evil monster who created her to be a weapon to use against his enemies. Kanna knows that if she had not found that tiny twinge of rebellion in her heart she would not be where she is now. Kanna thinks about all of the things that have happened to her, and all of the people she met both before and after coming to Gotham. Kanna regrets the bad things she was forced to do, and the people that got hurt because of it. Since coming to Gotham Kanna has done nothing that she would regret doing, but she has helped people since coming here this proves that she was never anything like the evil Naraku at least not of her own accord. Once Bruce told her that the only way to make up for the misdeeds of the past is to do the right thing in the future, and that is just what Kanna is going to spend the rest of her life doing. That being said Kanna genuinely wants to spend her life helping as many people as she possibly can, and Kanna hopes that she will meet lots of new friends along the way. Kanna knows that with her luck there is some kind of exciting adventure waiting to be had, but for now Kanna is going to enjoy a happy life with her family.

Kanna POV

I have just returned to the Manor after Dicks funeral, and I look around me to see flashes of all the happy memories that I made with my family in this house. I take the time I need to grieve for the loss of my family, and then I figure out what life has in store for me next. I go to Bruce's study to see if he has any words of wisdom about what I should do now that my family is gone, and I am all alone once more. As I am going through the papers on Bruce's desk I find a letter with my name on it. I read it aloud to alleviate the oppressive silence saying.

"Dear Kanna,

If you are reading this it means that I and the rest of the family are dead, and you are now alone in the world. It is my sincerest wish that you go some place were you can meet other immortals, but is as far away from the place of your birth as you can possibly get. To this end I have invented a device that will take you to a dimension that I have selected because it is the one in which you are most likely to be happy. When you go take the manor, and all of my Bat-a-rangs with you so you will have something familiar in the strange world that you will be living in. The Bat Cave will be staying here encase Gotham ever has need of it again, You will find the device in the locked drawer of my desk, and after you have I want you to collect up my Bat-a-rangs, and the plans on how to make more of them; Then you will go to the very center of the manor, and leave Earth forever embracing the hopeful future ahead of you.

Your Father,

Bruce Wayne" Kanna

Narrator POV

Kanna begins looking around the study for the key, and when she finds it she unlocks the specified drawer. In the drawer Kanna finds a box wrapped in plain white wrapping paper, and opening it she finds what looks like one of Bruce's hand held scanners, but turning it on she can already tell that it is something entirely different. Kanna puts the device into her pocket, and goes down to the Bat Cave to collect the specified things that she was told about in the letter. Kanna does make sure to leave a copy of the Bat-a-rang plans in a secure location, and then goes up into the manor proceeding to the central room, and then Kanna activates the device taking her and her home to the dimension Bruce has picked out for her live the rest of her life in.

In a flash Kanna walks out of the manor, and looks around finding herself to be in a world that looks a lot like Earth, but this world feels nothing at all like Earth. Kanna goes back into the manor, puts the dimensional travel device back in the drawer where she found it then locks the drawer, and puts on a utility belt filled with Bat-a-rangs and medical supplies. Kanna then goes out to explore the world around her after putting an impenetrable barrier around her home to prevent it from being damaged in anyway. As Kanna is exploring she comes across a pack of ugly, foul smelling, and evil creatures, and Kanna takes her Mirror in one hand facing out like Bruce taught her then gets out a Bat-a-rang, and waits for the filth to make a move. The Orcs see her hostility, and attack Kanna without hesitation. Kanna kills an Orc, and gets out another Bat-a-rang to kill the next monster, but as the battle progresses some of the Orcs try attacking from behind. The Orcs are stopped from attacking by a barrier that deflects their own attacks back at them, and this results in the death of nearly half the Orcs. Just as more Orcs are joining the fray Kanna hears a horn, and the sound of approaching horses she doesn't however allow this to distract her from the battle. The people on horseback begin killing the Orcs, and before long all of the Orcs are dead, and Kanna deactivates her shield before moving to collect her Bat-a-rangs. As Kanna puts away the last of her Bat-a-rangs the leader walks up to her, and says.

"Who are you young one?" ?

"What are you saying?" Kanna

"I asked, Who are you young one?" ?

"My name is Kanna, and you are?" Kanna

"My name is Elrond, and I am quite impressed with your skill in battle Miss Kanna." Elrond

"Thank you Elrond. Why are you out here in what appears to be the middle of nowhere?" Kanna

"I could ask the same question of you Miss Kanna." Elrond

"I live not to far away from here, and I decided that I want to explore this world that is now my home. So here we are talking after defeating this evil." Kanna

"It is not safe for a young Yokai to be living out here by yourself. Would you consider coming to live in Lindon?" Elrond

Kanna thinks about this offer, and comes to a decision saying.

"Alright, but I would still like to see as much of the world as I can though." Kanna

Elrond nods with a smile on his face, and helps Kanna up onto his horse.

As they are traveling Kanna looks at all the beautiful sights around her. When they arrive at the capitol city Kanna is struck by it's beauty, and when they come to a stop Elrond takes Kanna into the city to find a place for her in his home. Kanna looks around the city of Mithlond and is struck with how different it looks from anything that she has ever seen before. Kanna finds Mithlond to be the most beautiful city she has ever been in ever. Even Gotham wasn't as beautiful as this place, and Kanna had grown to think that Gotham was a very beautiful city. As soon as she is settled in Kanna uses her skill at glass blowing that she cultivated to set up a shop in the main market of the city, but Kanna finds herself missing the manor from time to time. Kanna talks with the Mirror beast about the possibility of Moving the manor to Mithlond so she can live in the house she inherited from her father instead of a rented room. The first thing Kanna does is purchase the vacant lot in the residential area, and then she follows the directions given to her by the Mirror Beast. Kanna stands facing the vacant lot, and uses her Mirror to Bring Wayne Manor to Mithlond. In the process of doing this Kanna gains the Attention of High King Gil-galad. The King starts showing his interest by coming to Kanna's shop, and purchasing a figurine whenever he is in the area. After a few visits Ereinion begins talking to Kanna, and pretty soon the two them of the begin to genuinely enjoy each others company. One day Ereinion asks Kanna about her parents, and she tells him that her adopted father who shaped her into the person she is today that has passed away. When Ereinion asks about her birth father Kanna asks him to never mention him in her presence ever again. When Kanna sees the question on his face Kanna tells him that he was evil, and that she was very lucky to have escaped him. Kanna makes it to clear to Ereinion that while she had very little of her own at the time what she did have wasn't evil. Ereinion changes the topic of conversation by asking about her father, and Kanna tells him all about Bruce Wayne. Kanna takes him into Wayne Manor, and she tells him that this house has sheltered several generations of the Wayne family, and that she is the final generation of the Wayne family to live in this house. While she is doing this Kanna shows him around the Manor.

After life has returned to normal Kanna reflects on their wedding night, and the look of Ereinion's face when he saw the room filled with egg-sacs. Kanna knows that they will not be having anymore elflings for at least a century, and there is wisdom in that because they will be very busy caring for the offspring that they have already created. Kanna will focus on enjoying the happy life that she has with her family. Kanna is enjoying the peace and tranquility of Mithlond while also spending time with her friend Kagome. Their children are often seen playing together showing the close friendship between Kanna and Kagome. As time passes Kagome and Kanna live peaceful happy lives in Mithlond hoping that things will continue on like this forever. There are times when Kanna misses her father and brother, but she knows that they are resting peace. So Kanna finds that she can happily rest in this fact. There have been times when Kanna has had to fight Orcs, and is exceedingly grateful that her father taught her how to fight from childhood. The guards are very impressed with Kanna's skill in battle, and often ask he to accompany them when they go out to hunt Orcs. This doesn't stop her husband from worrying when Kanna puts herself in danger.

On another topic Kanna gave the management of her shop to Kagome after her eggs hatched so that she would have more time to care for her children, and Kanna has yet to regret that decision. Kanna and Kagome are still close friends despite how busy their lives have gotten. Kanna still makes the goods for her shop, but Kagome is running the shop. This continues on until Sesshomaru and Kagome leave Mithlond to establish their own Kingdom under her husband High King Gil-galad. Once everyone has settled Kanna goes to visit her friend, and reports to Ereinion that the settlement is flourishing in the Forodwaith where the Kingdom of Yoru is located. The High King acknowledges Yoru as a pettikingdom under his rule. Kanna finishes her report, and Gil-galad arranges for any support that is required to help the elves of Forodwaith. All in all Kanna is very glad that her life is going so well since coming to Arda after the death of her family.
