Yukio was practicing meditation.
"He is handsome and a great exorcist but he doesn't have any friends. I don't think he likes people," some students said.
Yukio got up and walked around the school. He saw a painting of the End Of The World commissioned by the Order.
"You know about my dreams." Shiemi said. "Don't you Yuki."
"You've become popular over the years, Shiemi." Yukio said. "You get confessions every day."
"That sounds like a flirtation." Shiemi said.
"You aren't even an exorcist anymore, Shiemi." Yukio said.
Shiemi became angry. "Yes I am! I can see it in my destiny, just like you."
"Are you willing to make the sacrifice?" Yukio said.
Several day passed and Shiemi was in town when she heard a boy crying for help. She approached the boy to see what was wrong when he transformed into an demon. The demon attacked Shiemi and she tried to fight it with a crowbar but it was too strong. Suddenly her greenman Nee appeared and reached out to her.
Shiemi began to reach out for it when a voice called out, "Don't touch it!"
Shiemi turned around and Yukio was standing at the door.
Yukio continued, "If you do, you'll never be to return to a normal life!" He lifted his gun and fired with black.
Yukio attacked the monster, driving it back.
"Stop! That boy is still alive!" Shiemi said.
"The end is coming!" Yukio said. "If I don't do this, there will be more sacrifices. I did not choose to fight this way."
With Shiemi distracted, the monster attacked again and Yukio dove to push Shiemi out of the way. The monster slashed Yukio with his claws.
Yukio slumped on the ground in Shiemi's arms.
"I didn't help you just because you are an exorcist," Yukio said weakly. "Before I knew, I was always watching you, even when you meditated with me. I've always wanted to be with you. You never ask favors of anyone and you're always faithful to your feelings."
"I'm not faithful," Shiemi said. "I'm always running away."
"No," Yukio said. "I know you better than you do because I've always been watching you. I just didn't want you to take the same path I took." He closed his eyes. "Still, I was happy when I found out that you were the one..."
Shiemi looked back at her greenman and hugged it, accepting it as her familiar again and using it to help Yukio.
"I won't turn away from our fate anymore, Yuki."
