- two hours before -

When Naruto and Nilou left, they hadn't said a word, but five minutes later, Naruto turned to her and asked, "Are you okay? You seemed really sad and worried when you saw that man."

Nilou looked down and answered sadly, "Well, you're new here, so you wouldn't know. You might know that this is a city of knowledge governed by the Goddess of Wisdom, but since she doesn't interact with us, she gives all her influence to the sages, and that's why we have to follow their rules."

Naruto looked confused at her and asked, "Well, that man didn't seem like someone I would get along with, but not everyone of the Sages can be like him. I mean, people don't seem to hate the rules they make."

Nilou nodded at him and told him, "While the sages aren't the best people, they don't make rules that are too harsh. Actually, only rules that are harsh are the ones contacted to the academy. But what I was getting at was that I want to be a dancer and perform on a stage. That's why I went there a few times. But I always got the same negative answer."

Naruto looked at her with surprise and asked, "You can dance; that's so cool. I wish I could see it someday. I'm sure it's beautiful."

Nilou blushed when she heard the sincerity in the boy's voice and told him, "I can show you tomorrow if you want. I don't have anything to do anyway, and I would love to spend more time with you."

Naruto smiled brightly at her. "I would love to see you dance, but would you mind if I bring my little sister as well?" Naruto asked with a worried tone.

Nilou smiled and shook her head, "While I don't mind if you didn't tell me you had a little sister, I'm sure she's quite cute."

Naruto energetically nodded his head, "Well, we aren't really blood-related, but we see each other as family, and you don't know how cute she is! She's half my size with white hair and emerald green eyes."

Nilou smiled at Naruto, who was still talking about his little sister, but then thought, "That sounds familiar... Where have I heard those descriptions from?" And then continued to smile at Naruto.

- half a hour later -

"Hey, Nilou Chan! I'm just curious about the rules in the Academy that aren't in other places." Naruto asked with confusion.

"I can't say there aren't any different rules than those in other academies, but we have a weird rule." She said, thinking.

Naruto looked at her with a questioning face. "What is it? It can't be that bad, right?" he asked.

" Well, I heard from some students that the Academy has a basement no one is allowed to enter. They say it's the place where Goddess of Wisdom resides and communicates with sages. But I'm not sure if that's true." Then she stopped talking and looked at his face.

" A basement that is said to be a place where goddesses of wisdom reside... or it might be a place where Nahid is trapped." His thoughts were cut short when he heard Nilou's voice.

"This is it, Naruto-kun. Thank you for walking me home. I hope to see you again with your little sister. Oh, that reminds me; we can meet each other at the place we first met." nilou said with a small blush.

Naruto merely grinned and told her, "I wouldn't miss it for anything." He then started to walk away, waving his hend as a sign of goodbye.

- night at the hotel -

naruto and kurama were bumping their fists

" Hmm, quite interesting. " Tailed Beast said as he scratched his chin and continued talking, " Okay, Kit, this time I think you should use your Shinobi skills to sneak in and try to see if Little Nahida is really there, but remember not to let your guard down just because these Sages don't seem strong. Got it? "

" Got it, partner! So I should be sneaky. I can do that just fine. I mean, I was the sneakiest Shinobi full of other Shinobies while still not graduated from the Shinobi Academy." He smiled when he remembered when he was able to prank high-ranked Shinobi while wearing a bright orange jumpsuit.

kurama snorted when he remembered twelve year old naruto pranking Shinobi twice his age " well you were quite the troublemaker weren't you but I can't blame you they were quite the a*hols back then "

naruto nodded at kuramas words and laughed " as they say revenge is best served cold "

Kurama smiled at his companion, but then frowned. "Naruto, this is a new world. So, I want you to promise me that you will change. All I ask is to get rid of those who cannot be redeemed. Nothing more, nothing less."

Naruto took a step back in shock and tried to protest, "Kurama, you know I can't make that kind of promise."

Kurama looked at Naruto with disappointment, clenching his fists shut. "Kid, I am not asking you to kill every bad guy you meet. I am telling you to kill people who don't give a shit about hurting someone like Madara, Kaguya, or Indra. Monsters like them. Nothing more, nothing less. So please promise me, Kit."

Naruto frowned when he heard the pleading voice of his best friend and nodded, "I promise, but I will only kill those who cannot be redeemed."

Kurama smiled, "That's all I'm asking. Okay, Kit? Get out so you can get your gear ready." He told Naruto and kicked him out.

- thirteen minutes later -

At the academy gates, there was a man wearing a fox mask. "I've always wanted to wear an anbu cloak."

" naruto there isn't any time for goofing around just activate the sage mode and go in " told kurama

Naruto nodded, "Got it, partner." As soon as he said that, he activated his Sage Mode, sensing that there were at least 20 people in the Academy. Six had some kind of aura around them; two had a fiery red color, two had a dark blue color, and one was purple. He then saw five with a green color and thought, "Those five must be the Sages and the other Vision Users. Well, there's no time to waste!" And sneakily went inside.

he was able to avoid people with sage mode and soon after he was able too feel someone below " hmm that must be nahida i should follow her signature " five minutes later he found a large stairs leading down " this must be the way down "

- five minutes later -

" what is i this place " he asked himself as he looked around the room fulled with some kind of gadget an technology then he spotted a door when he went in and his eyes got wide

he saw a giant sphere shaped barrier concocted at the floor and the ceiling he then saw that there was something in it and started to walk over to it but soon after started to run to it when he figured out that it was nahida

nahida started to wake up when he felt disturbance to the barrier " ...what going on " she asked when she felt the barrier was shaking then her eyes got wide when she heard a familiar voice and looked over to her right side it was naruto who was punching the barrier " naruto onee san " she yelled with happiness

naruto nodded and frowned when he heard sirens but thought " it will brake down in one or two more punch " and punched the barrier once more than barrier started to gain cracks and he said " one more time !" and with one more punch he shattered the barrier

Nahida looked at the smiling boy and then started crying with happiness, "Nee-san! It's great that we're meeting in person." She said as Naruto hugged her.

then they heard running voices and separated from their hug " nahida chan i want you to wait here for few more minutes ? ok ? "

nahida nodded and told him " just be careful Okey " naruto nodded and went to meet the people who hurt his little sister

The sages stopped running when they saw someone wearing a kitsune mask. "Who are you?" asked one of the men. "Are you the one who freed Lesser Lord Kusanali?"

Naruto answered with a question of his own, "Lesser Lord Kusanali, I don't know who that is. I just freed my little sister Nahida. So if you want to live, go buck or I won't hold back."but neither of them left

" Well, sorry, but I won't hold back. Just remember: you brought this upon yourself when you hurt a child. As they say, 'dogs who bite should be put down.'" When he said that, he appeared at one of the man's faces and punched him in the nose, breaking his skull in the process "

- ten minutes later -

Nahida looked at the door, where screaming was heard, but she wasn't afraid because she knew that the one who was causing those screams wouldn't do anything to her soon. The voices stopped and Naruto walked in with a forced smile. When he came to her, he sat down.

"I hope I didn't make you wait too long." He said, with a small smile.
