After winning the competition, Ben finally became a Wizard Saint. He used some threats, but that wasn't important. As long as he became a Wizard Saint it was fine.
They held Ben's inauguration ceremony shortly after the competition. It was just a simple ceremony because Ben requested it. He didn't want something merry when they were in mourning right now.
After he officially became a Wizard Saint, Ben returned to Magnolia. Everything related to his position as a Wizard Saint would be sent to him in a few days. So now he can return home and get some good rest.
Mira and Bella returned first with some of the kids that they saved from the Zeref worshipers. So he can go to Magnolia without stopping anywhere. He had also been gone for a few days, so he really needed to return now.
"The matters with the Magic Council are under control for now. They won't dare to mess with us again or they will be destroyed. Now I can focus on the guild, the investigation of the spell used on Tenrou Island and a few more personal things." Ben said to himself as he drove.
Ben realized he still had a lot of problems to resolve even though he just settled a big one. Taking care of his guild is a more tiring task than messing with the Magic Council. There was a lot he needed to do as a guild master.
"I shouldn't have accepted this position." Ben grumbled.
[Too late to regret it now.]
"I know, no need to tell me that. Anyway, we have a new project now. I want to start the project to dispel the magic that was used on Tenrou Island but we don't have any information on it. Fortunately, Kenshin is taking care of research on that spell. So for now, I want you to analyze the Anima we obtained after our trip to Edolas. Find out if we can recreate and strength it." Ben said.
[Understood.]
Ben had a plan for the Anima but he was going to keep it a secret for now. A.I Chip will work on it while he works on other things. He has a lot to do as a new guild master, especially after what happened to their guild.
After arriving in Magnolia, Ben immediately headed to the guild. Everyone was probably waiting for him so he needed to head there first. It turns out he was right, they were waiting for him with anticipation.
Ben sighed.
"I'm a Wizard Saint now." He said with a smirk.
Everyone was surprised before they smile and cheer happily. But then Bisca told them to be quiet and reminded them that the guild is still mourning. They've discussed that they won't hold any celebration for 3 months following the incident.
Well, it's not that they can't hold it, it's just they can't do it in public. They all know the truth but the public doesn't. So they can't hold a celebration that attracts the public's attention for the next 3 months.
"We just need to hide it, right?" Ben asked before he activated the enchantment that masks his guild's activities.
Now they can do anything inside the guild and no one will see it from outside. They immediately hold a party to celebrate Ben's ascension as a Wizard Saint. Him being a Wizard Saint will really help their guild.
The 3 children Mira brought here also seemed to enjoy the party. They feel better after they arrived to the guild. Everyone's behavior helped them to move on faster after losing their families.
Currently, the children live in the guild's dormitories. The 2 girls live in the girl's dormitory while the youngest boy lived in the boy's dormitory. Ben paid their rent and living expenses for now because he was the one who recruited them to the guild.
Well, it's an investment for the guild's future, so it was fine. Guilds will always need young mages so training children like them is a common occurrence. They also have training programs for children like them.
While the adults drink and enjoy the party, Ben gathered the children and his ex-students. They sit on the side where the only empty table is. Ben then set up a barrier enchantment to block out the noise from their surroundings.
"Why did you gather us here, Ben-nii?" Ron asked.
"I have a task for you 11. It's to teach these 3 magic." Ben said.
"What? Us? Teaching magic?" Yorki asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, it's an important task." Ben replied.
"But why us? We've never taught anything before. Besides, we don't have a lot of experience as mages." Gea pointed out.
"Then it's a chance for you to do it. You need to gather experience as much as you can while you're still young. I taught you when I was 12 and Wendy was 7 at that time, so you must be able to do it too. You just need to teach them what I taught you." Ben informed them.
The 11 young mages discuss this among themselves while the 3 children get nervous. Then finally, they agree, making the children happy.
"Good, I will give you a sufficient reward, so don't worry. As for you kids, you don't need to worry about living expenses. But I want you to work for it. You will work as waiters in the guild hall from 8am to 12am. After that, you can do whatever you want, including training." Ben said.
"Yes! Thank you very much master." The 3 children said, bowing.
Ben nodded.
"Ah I forgot. What are your names?" He asked.
The 3 introduce themselves. The oldest girl is Mia, the younger girl is Helen and the youngest boy is Jack. Mia is 11, Helen is 9 and Jack is 8. They aren't siblings, but they are still relatives, that's why they stay together.
"Alright, the 3 of you can ask Mira about the work. You will do this work until you are ready to take jobs. Are there any questions?" Ben asked.
The children shake their heads because they have no idea what to ask. They were clueless about all of this. Ben didn't want to make them uncomfortable, so he dismissed them and told them to enjoy the party.
The party continued for several hours before they stop because Ben, the main star is tired. He had going here and there for the last few days so he wants to rest. What he did these last didn't leave him physically exhausted, but mentally.
While he laid on his bed, Ben immediately slept like a log. Mira allowed him to sleep even though he hadn't taken a bath. She had prepared hot water for him but he just fell asleep so she just used the hot water with Bella.
The next day, Ben worked in his office to finish some official matters that hadn't been completed since he left. He produced some clones to help him finish the documents. There are just too many documents for him to handle alone.
"It seems I need to change the management system of this guild. I can't keep taking care of things like this and focus on handling more important matters. A.I Chip, do you have any suggestions for a efficient management system?" Ben asked.
[There are some books containing management systems for organization.]
"Hmm, use them to make the most efficient system for our guild." Ben said.
[Understood.]
"How analyzing the Anima going?" Ben asked.
[It has been dismantled into it's smallest parts and their functions are being investigated now.]
"Alright, finish it as fast as possible so we can start the next project." Ben said.
Then, Ben checked some more things out in the guild before he ends the day. He is very busy with official business, not something he likes. At least the night with Mira is something he likes.
"So, what's the plan now?" Mira asked after finishing her bath.
"For now I want to stabilize the guild. We need to take jobs more often, especially S-Class jobs." Ben said.
"Alright, I will take a job. But can I go with Bella?" Mira asked.
"Sure. I'll be in the guild for a while so she'll be bored if she stays here." Ben replied.
Both of them then go sleep to prepare for the incoming days.
