We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.
The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. And, a school sporting event, can bring out the best and worst of the students that are playing. This is the competitive Junior year.
The tugs theme then plays
Junior's POV
All 32 of us were stranded in the middle of nowhere. But we weren't going to accomplish anything, standing around doing nothing. We packed up all our things, and began to march forward, hoping to find civilization. As Bertha's younger siblings were only one year old, they had to be carried most of the way. It wasn't long before we finally found a hotel. We all thought we were saved, until we found out the hotel wasn't anywhere near civilization. It was a one star hotel, with uncomfortable beds, and it smelled like manure. Me and Bertha had just walked into our room, when we saw a rat run right out the door. There was no way Bertha was going to sleep in a building where she could die of an allergic reaction. We decided to get a sleeping bag, and spend the night outside.
Reader's POV
It was now dark out, and Junior and Bertha were next to each other in a sleeping bag, with a lantern beside them. Bertha was shivering a lot, it was clear that it was incredibly cold outside. "Listen Bertha, i'm really scared about the position that we're in" said Junior. "This is the third year in a row where i've gone missing, my parents are probably yet again freaking out." "This time is different than the previous two times, I don't know if we're going to get out of this alive." "Well, you're not the only one suffering" said Bertha. "I'm freezing my ass off in this weather." Junior then wrapped his arms around his soon to be wife. "Thanks Junior, now i'm nice and warm" said Bertha. Bertha then turned around to face Junior, and returned his embrace. "I love you Bertha, I love you so much" said Junior. The couple then began kissing each other on the lips, before falling asleep.
A few hours later, in the middle of the night, Junior began yelling in pain. "OOOOOWWWWW!" He looked to his right, and saw a spider crawl away. "Oh my God, this is not good, this is not good" said Bertha. Junior's stomach then began hurting a lot. He turned his head away from Bertha, and began puking. This went on for a full minute.
Junior's POV
The situation we were in became even worse, and nobody on the plane was a certified doctor. Bertha was the most horrified, she thought I was going to die. She quickly began cleaning the wound with what little fresh water the hotel had, before rubbing ointment on it. Over the next few days, passengers would take turns leaving the area in search of help, and they would leave a trail of bread crumbs so they could find their way back. During this entire time, my condition was getting worse and worse. My skin had gone completely pale, and I was constantly throwing up. Throughout all this, Bertha refused to leave my side. Every day she would apply ointment to the wound three times a day, and put a damp cloth over it for 15 minutes each hour. It would end up taking a massive miracle for me to end up surviving, but that is a story for another day.
Authors note: As I am not a doctor, I had no idea how to treat spider bites. I had to google that information.
Not all of them, but some spiders can be incredibly deadly. Some of them can kill you with just one bite.
Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
