Everyone walked out of the kitchen and then headed for the living room, where Linda and Krissy placed the twins back in their bassinettes. Cathy stays in the living room with mommy and grandma while Alex Jr. went back into the family room to watch the WWE Network, while big Alex went into his den to watch a baseball game.
"Your husband has seen nice and handsome... He is a decent guy," Linda said. Kristina smiled.
"Thank you," she said
"You're welcome. How did you meet him?" She asked her
"I met Alex one summer at a barbecue that my grandma was throwing, and we hit it off, and of course, my dad did not like him. My mom told him to stop being overbearing."
"Your father reminds me of my father and Vince, who was overbearing when Stephanie began to date boys."
Krissy chuckled and said, "Stephanie, and you had the same problems as I did, overbearing father."
"Yes, sweetheart, I'm almost positive that your mom had a few conversations with him about his overbearing ways."
"Pretty sure she did, and I can guarantees that my grandma his mother had a few talks with him too."
Linda smiled and said, "Your grandma sounds like my grandma and my mother in law."
"My grandma used to love to kidnap me and take to me her house where I could do whatever I want to do."
Linda smiled and said, "Your grandma sounds like most grandma's allowing their grandkids to do whatever they want."
Kristina smiled at her, then reached out and hugged her. Linda hugged her back and felt the tears of happiness in her eyes while hugging her daughter.
"Mommy," Alex Jr. called out.
Excuse me, mom, let me go see what your grandson wants," she said, standing up and walked out of the living room.
"I'm so happy I have two more granddaughters," she said to Cathy, who smiled at her. Linda notices that Cathy had her mother smile.
"Grandma, are you going to stay around," Cathy asked her grandma.
"Yes, I am going to be around to watch you, brother Alex, little brother Stephen and sister Kayla grow up."
"Good, I am happy that you are here too."
"Me too, sweetie," she said, smiling at her granddaughter.
Big Alex came walking into the living room to see Linda with his daughter, and they looked up at him. Cathy got off the couch and walked out of the living room.
"Can I get you something to drink or eat?" He asked his mother in law.
"No, I'm good… so… you are my son in law," she replied
"I am… And I'm so glad that Kristina went to meet you and then brought you back here to meet the rest of us. It means so much to her. When she found out that she had another mother, she was shocked."
Linda smiled; he continues by saying, "I know she's so happy you're here. Her parent's death hits her hard."
Linda felt bad for her daughter having to deal with the death of both her parents.
"I know she's is happy to have her biological mother here too."
Linda smiled. "I'm happy I'm here too."
Alex smiled at her
"As soon as I confess to my husband that I had another child, he forgave me and told me he would help me found her. She's wonderful, and I can tell she's everything I've ever wanted her to be."
Alex smiled, "She is a wonderful wife, mother, granddaughter, niece, and cousin. I'm sure she feels the same as you."
Linda smiled, "I'm thrilled that my daughter Krissy has you, and I can tell you love her so much. I'm glad she has that and four beautiful kids."
Alex smiled as Krissy came walking back into the living room to see her mom and husband talking and getting to one another.
