"I know you would have become best friends."
"Oh really, now you know."
Krissy smiled and said, "Yes, I do know. Mama was a loving, caring woman. She reminded me of you…."
Linda smiled and said, "Well, thank you for the compliment, honey."
"You're welcome, mom. oh, I almost forgot, are you and Vince busy this Saturday?"
"I don't think we are busy. Why?"
"Well, your grandson Alex is making his first holy communion on Saturday, and then afterward, back at my house, we are having a family-only party."
"We would love to come, honey."
"Good. Vincent and his family are welcome, along with Stephanie and her family. "
"Well, I will let you know about your half-sibling after I tell them about you."
Krissy smiled and said, "Okay, you can call and tell me their answers."
"Sure, honey. Who else will be at the house on Saturday?"
"My grandma Kayla will be home from Puerto Rico, my aunt Kassie, Uncle Carlos, Roman and his family, Sara with her kids, Cristian and his family, and my in-laws as well."
"You're going to have a full house there."
Yes, I will, but it is a special occasion. And then probably in July, Alex and I will christen Stephen and Kayla."
Linda smiled and said, "Okay, let me know the date for Stephen and Kayla's christening."
"I will, mom. Do you think Stephanie and Vincent would love to be godparents to Stephen and Kayla?"
Linda smiled and said, "I think they would love to be godparents to Stephen and Kayla; you can ask them on Saturday."
Krissy smiled and said, "Okay then."
Kayla began to fuss, and Krissy stood up from the couch and walked over to the playpen.
"Shush, honey," she said, picking her up and rubbing her tiny back.
Krissy felt Kayla's diaper. It wasn't wet and said. "You must be hungry again."
Linda smiled and said, "How about I warm up a bottle for you."
"Thank mom, and you might as well warm up a bottle for Stephen too."
"Okay, honey," she said, walking out of the living room.
Right on cue, Stephen began to fuss, and Krissy repositioned Kayla and put her hand on Stephen.
"Okay, handsome, grandma is warming up two bottles for mommy to feed you both"
A few minutes later, Grandma Linda came walking back into the living room with two bottles and handed one to Krissy, who repositioned Kayla in her arms and began to feed her the bottle of breast milk. Next, Linda picked Stephen up, walked over to the sofa, sat down, and began to feed him. Krissy sat down on the sofa too. The front door was open, and Vince saw two car seats on the bench in the walk and realized that Linda's daughter Kristina was there. He closed the door, walked into the living room to see Linda feeding a baby, and saw Kristina.
"Hi," he said as Linda looked up and saw him.
"Hi, honey," she said with a smile.
Vince walked around the sofa and got a good look at Kristina, and he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw her. She was gorgeous like Linda and Stephanie.
"Hi, Kristina. It's nice to meet you finally," he said with a smile.
"Hello, Vince, it's a pleasure you too," she said with a smile.
Vince sat beside Linda, looked at their grandson Stephen, and said, "This must be Stephen."
Linda smiled and said, "Yes, this is Stephen."
"And this one is Kayla," Kristina said with a smile.
Kayla finished her bottle, placed it on the coffee table, repositioned her daughter again, and rubbed her little back. A few minutes later, Kayla burped.
"That mommy's girl," she said and kissed her forehead.
She stood up, walked over to the playpen, and laid Kayla down as Stephen burped; Vince and Linda smiled.
"That grandma's little man," she said, kissed him the forehead, stood up, walked over to the playpen, and laid him down too.
Krissy sat on the sofa again, and Vince asked, "Kristina, what do you do for a living?"
"I am Judge here in Connecticut, and I followed in my mother's footsteps, Catherine."
Vince smiled and thought to himself, maybe Kristina could help him with Shane, Stephanie, and Vincent fighting over the WWE.
"Vince?" Linda called out to him
"What," he said, and Linda and Krissy chuckled
"You zone out there for a minute," she said
"Sorry, I was thinking about something."
"it's okay, Vince, and I do that when attorneys give opening statements or tell me about the newest discovered evidence."
Vince smiled and said, "Thank you, Krissy; you are a breath of fresh air."
She smiled and said, "You're welcome."
"Hey, no using my daughter against me, Vincent Sr."
Vince smiled and said, "I would not dream of doing that to you."
"You better not. Anyway, Krissy invited us, along with Vincent, Courtney, and their kids, Stephanie, Jack, and their kids, to her house on Saturday."
Vince looks at Krissy and says, "Really now"
"Yes, my son Alex Jr. is making his first Holy Communion on Saturday, and afterward, there is a family-only party at my house."
"Okay"
"We will meet her grandma Kayla, auntie Kassie, and Uncle Carlos along with their family and her in-laws, and you will get to meet Alex Sr."
"Great, I cannot wait now."
They continued to talk and then had some lunch that Linda had prepared for them, and then by 2:00 pm, Kristina left to pick Alex and Cathy up from their school. The Cadillac Escalade pulled up to the St. Catherine Catholic School in Old Greenwich. Twenty minutes later, the kids started coming out of school, and Krissy opened the door and stepped out of the Cadillac Escalade. Cathy spotted her mommy running to her.
"Mommy," she said as Kristina caught and kissed her
"Hi, baby, how was school?" She asked
"It was good, mommy," she replied as Kristina opened the back door and helped Cathy climb into the back of the Cadillac Escalade.
Kristina felt a pair of arms around her waist and looked down to see her son hugging her.
"Hi, mommy," he said, leaning his chin on her side.
"Hi, son," she said; he climbed into the Cadillac Escalade, and then she got in and pulled the door closed.
Jonathan drove away from St. Catherine Catholic School and headed back to Greenwich, and both Cathy and Alex noticed that they weren't heading home.
"Hey, mommy, where is Johnny taking us?" Alex asked his mother
"it's a surprise," she replied as the Cadillac Escalade drove through old Greenwich and toward Greenwich.
"Mommy, are you are giving us away," Alex said; Kristina laughed
"No, I am not giving you or your sister away. Be patient, Alexander," she said as the Cadillac Escalade pulled into the driveway and the big iron gates opened.
Jonathan drove them up the circular driveway to the house, and Alex and Cathy wondered where they were right now. Johnny turned the key, shutting off the car, pulled the key out, then stepped out of the car and opened the door, helping his boss and Alex. He picks Cathy up and places her on her feet.
"Thank you, Johnny," she said
"You're welcome, Ms. Cathy," he said as they walked toward the house.
Kristina used her mom's key, opened the door, and entered the house with Alex and Cathy. Krissy closed the door, and they walked toward the living room; inside that, when Alex and Cathy saw Grandma and ran to her, she caught both of them.
"Hi, grandma," they said
"Hi, my angels," she said, kissing them both.
"Grandma, this is your house?" Alex asked
"Yes, honey, this my house," she replied just then; Vince walked back into the living room to see Alex and Cathy.
"Who's that?" Cathy asked
"That' is my husband Vince, your grandpa," she replied. Alex looked at him, and he was shocked.
"Hi, there, Cathy and Alex," he said with a smile.
"Hi, grandpa," Cathy said with a smile.
"She does look like you, Krissy," he said to Kristina.
"Yes, she does," she said.
"Hello, grandpa," Alex said, staying by his grandma.
Kristina notices Alex being intimidated by Vince's presence. So she walked over to him, sat beside him, and said, "Honey, there is nothing to scare about Vince; don't bite."
"I know, mommy, but he is Mr. McMahon," he said. Vince chuckles.
"Alex, I am not like the character you see on TV. Your grandma would have divorced me if I had acted that way in this house."
Linda looked at her grandson and said, "Vince is telling you the truth, Alex. I would never let him act that way in this house."
Alex smiled at his grandma and began to relax a bit. "Mommy, did you invite grandma and grandpa to my party on Saturday."
'Yes, I did, son. I invited Uncle Vincent and his family, your auntie Stephanie and her family as well."
"Good."
Linda and Vince laugh at their grandson
"You like spending my money Alex," she joked
He smiled and said, "Yes, mommy."
"Mommy," Cathy said
"Yes, baby," she said with a smile.
"When is nana coming home?" she asked.
"Nana Kayla will be home this Friday," she replied
"Yay, nana is coming home," she sang.
"You missed your nana, Kayla?" Grandma Linda asked
"Yes, Grandma. Nana is so much fun, and she"
"Nana Kayla spoiled us like she spoils mommy," Alex said, helping his sister out.
Krissy chuckles and says, "Yes, my grandma loved to spoil me when I was young."
Vince chuckled and said, "Ah, yes, she is like all grandparents spoil their grandkids and then send them home to their parents. "
"Yep. And we do that now, honey. We spoil our grandkids and then send them home to their parents."
