Kristina was thinking about renewing her vows so her mother, Linda, could see her in her wedding dress. Grandma Kayla came over and was in the living room with the twins.
"Grandma, I want you're to opinion on something?"
Grandma Kayla looked at her granddaughter and replied, "Okay, on what..."
"Well, since yesterday, I have been thinking about renewing my vows with Alex so my mother could see me in my wedding dress."
Grandma smiled and said, "Oh, sweetheart, I think that is a wonderful idea."
Kristina smiled and said, "You think we can pull off putting my renewal vow ceremony together for my wedding anniversary in August?"
"Hey, we Correa can do anything if we put in the work."
"Good, I want to surprise my mom, and the funny thing is Grandma, her 50th wedding anniversary is the day before Alex and I celebrate our twelfth wedding anniversary."
"Your mom married her husband on August 26?"
"Yes, grandma August 26, 1966, they were married."
"Well, you don't need gifts?"
"No. So, I think the guests can donate money to charities. First, I will have to find out what charities their support, and then I will ask my guests to donate money to the charities."
"Sound good, baby."
"Me too, grandma. My siblings can be in the bridal party, and Vince can walk me down the aisle too."
Grandma Kayla smiled and said, "I think that is a wonderful gesture on your part, baby."
Meanwhile, Linda was in her living room and lifted the lid on the box Krissy gave to her on Sunday. Linda took out some pictures of Krissy. She smiled, seeing the first picture of her baby with Catherine and her grandma Chloe.
"Krissy's beautiful and still is beautiful," Linda said to herself, looking through the pictures.
The following picture shows Krissy with her grandma Kayla and Kayla feeding her a bottle. Linda smiled; she was glad that Krissy had a wonderful family who took good care of her and loved her unconditionally. Linda continued looking through the picture of Krissy, her first Christmas, even though she was only two months old. Linda smiled as she could look through pictures of Krissy as a baby, all the way to her first birthday. Then, Linda noticed how much Krissy looked like she and Stephanie.
Linda continued looking through the pictures and saw school pictures of her daughter looking so cute in her school uniform, and Linda realized that her daughter had gone to Catholic school. I looked at the school pictures and saw herself and Stephanie in Krissy and how Krissy's features changed, and she looked more like Stephanie and herself. Linda could see why Catherine had a DNA test; she must have noticed that Krissy didn't look like her. Linda continued to look through the pictures and saw Krissy's sweet sixteen pictures.
"Oh, my goodness, she is gorgeous in her sweet sixteen dresses," Linda said to herself.
Linda saw pictures of Krissy with her cousins, Grandma Chloe, Grandpa Stephen, and Grandma Kayla, Alex, his family, and friends. Then, Linda came to her daughter Krissy's high school graduation picture and said, "Wow, Krissy is gorgeous," while looking at her daughter's picture.
Linda saw Krissy's prom picture, and she was breathtaking in her prom dress. Alex looks handsome in a tuxedo and sees that Krissy and Alex are the crown Queen and King of the prom. Linda chuckled, continued looking at the pictures, and saw Krissy and Alex's engagement picture.
"Wow, what a gorgeous of Kristina and Alex" after they engaged. She noticed it was the same picture Krissy had given her. Linda saw Krissy's College graduation picture, and she looked gorgeous, and saw a picture of Kristina with Alex taking his oath and then wearing his black robe. And then she saw another picture of Krissy's graduation from Law School. Next, Linda saw a picture of Krissy passing the bar exam and another picture of Kristina taking the oath to become a JudgeFinally. There were pictures of Kristina, Alex, Samantha, Kassie, and cousin Cristian, all wearing black robes.
Linda looked in the box, saw a picture left in the box, grabbed it, looked at it, and then got mad and said, "Who in the hell took this picture of my daughter standing in front of her parents' caskets.
Linda got up from the sofa, walked around, then out of her living room, grabbed her purse off the tab, and walked out of her home. Her chauffeur Jacque saw her coming his way. Jacque opened the door, and Linda got in the back of the limo. He closed the door behind her, walked around the limo to the driver's side, got in behind the wheel pulled the door closed. He turned the key started the limo, buckled his seatbelt, and then looked into the mirror at his boss's wife.
"Where, to Mrs. McMahon?" He asked
"To my daughter Kristina's house in Old Greenwich Jacque," she replied
"Yes, Ma'am," he said, driving down the circular driveway to where the big iron gates opened and then sped off toward old Greenwich, Ct.
Meanwhile, Krissy and her grandma were in the kitchen preparing lunch after Kristina, and the nanny fed Stephen and Kayla some lunch. A few minutes later, the back door opened; walked her mom Linda came, and they noticed she was unhappy.
"What's wrong, mom?" Kristina asked, wiping her hands on the dishtowel.
"Who took this picture of you, Krissy?" She said, showing her the picture
Krissy looked at the picture, saw herself standing in front of her parent's caskets, and replied, "Oh, my god. I have no idea who took that picture of me."
"Well, someone did."
"Do you know who took a picture of me, Grandma?" She asked, showing her grandma.
Kayla gasped and said, "I thought I burned that fucking picture."
Linda and Kristina looked at her "Grandma, you know about this picture."
Kayla sighed and began to explain the picture "Yes, sweet girl. After your parents, funeral, we went to the cemetery; remember you asked Grandpa, me, Grandma Chloe, Auntie, and Uncle for a moment to say goodbye."
Krissy thought for a moment and said, "Yes, I remember asking for a moment to say goodbye."
"Well, some sleaze vulture tabloids photographer manages to sneak through security and snap the picture of you in front of your parents' caskets. I was livid when he tried to sell my granddaughter's pictures."
"What?" Linda and Kristina said simultaneously
"He wants money for this fucking picture. I lunge at him, but Grandpa grabs me, and security grabs him. I told them to hold off until the police arrived, and when the police arrived, they arrested him and charged him with bribing. Grandpa and I gave our statement. The next day we went to court, where he was arraigned, and the Judge blasted him for taking your picture and then attempting to sell to the big bidder. He was held without bail, and then the Judge signs search warrants for the police to confiscate any other pictures he has of your parents' funeral and burial," she explained.
"Anything else, grandma?"
"Yes, baby, The Judge orders all publisher magazines, tabloids, and Local news stations not to buy any pictures of Kayla Correa's son and daughter-in-law's funeral and buried or face the consequence of paying you money. The Judge then sentenced him to 60 years in prison," she explained.
Linda said, "I am happy that the Judge made sure no one else could publish or show this picture of Krissy when she was vulnerable and grieving for her parents."
"Yes, I was grateful to the Judge myself."
"Me too. Mom, would you love to have some Chicken and rice for lunch?" Krissy asked with a smile that matched Linda's smile.
"I would love to have lunch with you and grandma."
"Great"
Kristina placed the food on three separate plates, then Linda grabbed her plate while Kristina brought her and Grandma Kayla to the table, placed one in front of Grandma, and then sat down with her plate. Then, they began to eat the food.
"Wow, this is delicious," Linda said, savoring the taste.
"Glad you love it. Both my grandma taught me how to make Pollo y Arroz, aka chicken and rice."
Grandma Kayla laughed and said, "Yes, and you perfected it."
"Well, Krissy care to teach me, your sister and sisters-in-law, how to make this?" Linda asked
"Sure, mom, I will teach you and them how to make chicken, rice, and beans too."
"Wonderful"
