The Carrera family settles in to watch WWE Money in the Bank PPV. MITB PPV opening with a badass video package highlighting the matches, and then a live shot inside T-Mobile Arena as the pyros go off, and Michael Cole welcomes the fans watching on the WWE Network. Next, JBL, and Byron Saxton join him. Then, right to the ring for the first match of the MITB PPV WWE Tag Team Title, match fatal four-way match. All four teams make separate entrances, enter the ring, and pose for the WWE Universe. First, the ring announcers introduced the teams, and then the titles were handed to the referee, who held them up and showed them to the WWE Universe.

The referee handed them to the timekeeper and then signaled for the bell that sounded the match was underway there were a lot of actions throughout the fatal four-way match until The New Day hit midnight ended with Karl Anderson the win and retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles. Backstage to Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, and Alberto Del Rio bickering, about who is willing to play the Money in the Bank ladder match later on the night. Back to the ring, Dolph Ziggler comes out first, then makes his way to the ring, enters the ring, and poses for the fans. Baron Corbin came out next to a chorus of boos, then made his way to the ring, entered the ring, and the fans continued to boo him. The referee signaled for the bell, and it rang. Ziggler attempted to take down Corbin to no avail. Ziggler then attempted to superkick him, but Corbin avoided the superkick next, but Ziggler did with a dropkick. Corbin slips out of a neckbreaker, hits a big right hand, and takes control.

Ziggler sends Corbin outside, but he quickly gets back in, and clotheslines Ziggler then covers him for two counts. Next, Corbin applied a Cobra Clutch, and Ziggler had to fight out of the hold, but Corbin hotshot him across the top rope. Corbin talks trash as the crowd chants, "Boring." as the action continues, Corbin takes time to taunt the WWE Universe before returning to his opponent. The action continued until Corbin caught Ziggler with End of Days covering him for the win.

The Carrera family sees Seth Rollins preparing backstage before returning to the ring for Women's tag team action WWE Women's Champion Charlotte, Dana Brooks, bs Natalya, and Becky Lynch. Once all four women were in the ring, the action began, and there was nonstop action throughout the match until Charlotte, and Dana took control of Natalya. Lynch was knocked off the apron, and then Charlotte drew Lynch into the ring, as Dana works over Natalya. Charlotte goes shoulder-first into the ringpost, but then stop Natalya from making a tag. Lynch off the hot tag, and clothesline, to Dana, and Charlotte. Becky with a running corner forearm, then springboard, one-legged kicks to Dana. Becky then hits Bex-plex to Charlotte.

Becky covered Charlotte, but Dana broke up the pin. Double missile dropkick by Becky on Charlotte, and covered Dan for a close two counts. The action continued. Nattie hits Nature by Natalya to Charlotte, but roll-up by Charlotte with her feet on the ropes, but for a close two counts. Natalya takes Charlotte's leg out, goes for the Sharpshooter, and gets locked in. Still, Dana saves Charlotte, then sends Becky into Nattie, allowing Charlotte to hits the Natural Selection on Natalya for the win. After the match, Charlotte, and Dana celebrate their win, Lynch helps Natalya up, but Natalya attacks Lynch, and then leaves her lying, Natalya leaves the ring very upset.

Backstage promo Dean Ambrose talked about the Money in the Bank Ladder Match later that night. Back to the rin,g and Sheamus attacks Crews before the bell. Crews fights back and clothesline Sheamus over the top rope to the floor. The action continued throughout the match until Sheamus hits a super White Noise-covered Crews, but Apollo kicks out! Sheamus cannot believe it.

Sheamus gets up and begins to argue with the referee allowing Crews to roll up Sheamus in a crucifix for the win quicklyApollo rolls out of the ring, and begins celebrating his victory over Sheamus; At the same time, Sheamus cannot believe that he lost. Video package on how WWE got to John Cena vs. AJ Styles, which is up next. Cathy claps said, "Yeah."

Vincent McMahon's music hits, and out he comes with Stephanie McMahon, and they make their way to ringside and sit down. Next, AJ Styles makes his way to the ring, enters, and poses for the WWE Universe. A few minutes later, John Cena's music hits, and he comes and salutes the WWE Universe, then makes his way to the ring. Again, Cena entered the ring, and pose for the WWE Universe.

He took his cap, tossed it into the crowd, then took off his T-shirt, and tossed that it the WWE Universe. The referee signaled for the bell, and it sounded. "Let's go, Cena, AJ Styles!" dueling chants by the Vegas crowd early. Styles rolled out of an Irish whip and then said, he would wrestle around Cena. Styles and Cena do chain wrestling as Styles continues to gloat at Cena.

Cena blocks Styles going down low, and hits some armdrags, and a monkey flip, sending Styles across the ring. Styles slip out AA, Cena with the "You can't see me." AJ hits a big right hand, and then more shots, then the tiger flips over Cena and hits more shots. Cena with a belly-to-belly suplex, covers him for one count. Styles and Cena ended up outside of the ring, Styles leaps over the steps to avoid them and then dares Cena back in.

Styles with more shots to Cena, leaping scissors knee drop, cover him for two counts. Vertical Suplex, by Styles, as he says to himself, "Is this all he's got?" Cena fights back, but Styles avoids a corner charge. John comes back with a backbody drop, and the running shoulder block, but Styles comes right back with a dropkick. Cena comes back with two running shoulder block, but Styles slip out of the Proto-Plex and hits an enziguri.

Styles sent off the turnbuckle. Cena hits the Proto-Plex, and then goes off the five-knuckle shuffle, but Styles stop it, with a kip-up Rana. Cena rolled out of the ring, and Styles slingshot forearm tape Cena out on the floor! Styles taunts the crowd, and then Styles goes for the Tope Con Hijo, but Cena sidesteps him, and AJ goes splat on the outside! Styles block the AA and then hits Kenta series. A leaping corner clothesline, but Cena avoids the basement forearm and locks in the STF.

Styles struggle and then can reach the ropes, forcing a break. Styles hit Hotshot, on Cena across the top rope. Cena stops Styles, on the turnbuckles. Cena climbs up, and goes for the superplex, but Styles blocks the superplex, attempts, and sweeps out Cena's leg. Cena backdrop Styles, who land on the top rope. Styles blocks super AA, but Cena catches him off the springboard and goes for the AA again, but once again, Styles counter it into the Calf Crusher! Cena struggles but can reach the ropes to force the break.

Styles kicks at Cena's leg, but Cena retaliates with a big clothesline, but cannot do the five-knuckles shuffle due to his leg. Styles once again blocks the AA, but Cena powers through the pain, and finally hits the AA, covers him but somehow Styles kicks out. Cena goes to the top and leaps off trying to nail fame-Asser, but Styles counter it, with a powerbomb covering him, but Cena kicks out. Both men began trading shots, then Styles hits Cena with a Pele kick.

Styles goes for Styles Clash and nails it, but Cena kicks out/ AJ can't believe it, and he goes for the springboard 450 splashes, but Cena gets his knees up. Cena gets up, and oes for another AA, but Styles avoids it again. Styles try to for the Styles Clash but block it, and Styles gets out of another AA. Styles try for the Pele kick, but Cena avoids it. Styles get out of the STF. Styles go for the Phenomenal forearm, but Cena avoids it and hits AA, but the referee is knocked down, in the process. The Club runs down, but Vincent is there to stop them; he waves for security, who escort The Club to the back, while Stephanie wakes up the referee, as Cena is posing for Styles, who struggle to his feet, and Cena nails another AA. Cena coves Styles, makes the count, and then signals for the bell.
