"Did you say Demon King is your name? That's a pretty tough name, but let's find out how tough you really are." Wiseman said. Shiki's second day in Duel Links is just as eventful. He encountered a thief named Wiseman, and now he's challenging him to a duel to get back the money he stole.

"You're about to find out." Demon King, Shiki taking on his new name, stood against him and wasn't backing down.

"Fine. Let's go." He said as the two of them were about to start their duel as they activated their duel disks and were set to go.

"Let's duel!" They both said as they were starting with 4000LP.

"This looks like it could be good." Aoneko said as she started recording. "This one will give him a better reputation than the last one would have."

"I think I'll be the one to kick this off." Wiseman said as he was the first one to go. "I'll start this off by summoning Machia Word to the field!" He started this duel by summoning a robotic soldier that was white and blue with it having 1400atk points. "That activates Machia Word's special ability! When he's summoned to the field, I can summon a level four or lower machine-type monster to the field! I think I'll bring out a second Machia Word!" A second one appeared with it being an exact copy. "It has the same ability for me to summon a third time. I summon Machia Power this time!" He summoned out another robot, but it was red instead of blue with it having 1500atk points. "Now I can use Machia Power's special ability. All my Machia monsters gain 500atk points as long as he remains on the field." He claimed as all his robots gained power to have 1900 and 2000atk points. "I think I'll end my turn there. Let's see you try to beat that."

"He's got some skill. He already summon three monsters on his very first turn, and they all just got a lot more powerful." Aoneko said.

"He might have pulled off an impressive start, but those robots of his are going down. My turn!" Demon King said and drew his next card. "I'll start by summoning Edens Hermit to the field!" He summoned out his own monster with it being a young girl with long blue pigtails. She had 600atk points. "Next, I activate her special ability! I can summon a monster from my deck as long as it has a 1000atk points or less! Come on out Edens Valkyrie!" He summoned out Valkyrie with her 900atk points. "Next, I activate Gravity Wave! This spell allows me to switch the attack and defense points of one monster on the field."

"I suggest using that on Power since it has the lowest defense points even with that power boost." Eden said.

"Good idea." Demon King said as Power's points switched and now only has 500atk points. "Hermit, attack Machia Power with Break-Down Program!" Hermit leaped right at his robot and just touched it for a program that destroyed it with Wiseman's life points dropping to 3900. Without Power, the other two lost power. "Valkyrie, it's your turn! Soul Blade Assault! When she attacks, her attack points double!" Valkyrie gained power and unleashed a series of blades at one of Wiseman's robots and destroyed it. That caused Wiseman to now have 3400LP. "I place one face-down and end my turn."

"Not bad. I guess maybe you are tougher than I thought, but let's see if you can keep that up." Wiseman said and drew his next card. "Time to get serious. I summon my tuner monster, Machia Excel, to the field!" He summoned out another robot this time, but this one was green with it having 1200atk points.

"Did he say tuner monster?!" Aoneko questioned.

"A tuner monster can only mean one thing. He's going to synchro summon!" Eden said.

"You got that right! I tune my level three Machia Excel with my level four Machia Word!" Wiseman said as the synchro process started. "Modernize by the advancement of technology, a steel warrior and hero of the truth emerges. Fighting anyone who stands in his way, he is one that stands. His story one of truth and..." "Sometime today, please!" Aoneko interrupting the monologuing.

"Fine! I synchro summon Arsenal!" Wiseman said as he summoned a mechanical warrior covered in armor and had 2300atk points.

"He's saying he's a hero when this guy is a thief?" Demon King questioned.

"That's a sign of irony." Eden said.

"I now activate Arsenal's ability! Once per turn, I can take any equip spell from my deck and add it to my hand!" Wiseman said as he had his choice and took the one he wanted. "In fact, I'm activating it right now. I activate Drum Buster!" He activated his spell and was given a powerful blaster over Arsenal's arm. "Thanks to this, Arsenal is now able to to attack every monster on your field!" That's not good for Demon King. "Arsenal, show him what you've got! Blast his field!" Aresenal took aim with a concentrated blast and unleashed it with it becoming a powerful explosion. Both of Demon King's monsters got caught in the blast and were both destroyed. First was Hermit with Demon King's life points dropping to 2300. Valkyrie was the next destroyed with his life points dropping even more to just 900. "I think that's enough for this turn. Looks like I'm keeping my cash."

"Not yet. I play my trap!" Demon King said. "Kinetic Puzzle allows me to bring back the destroyed monster with the highest attack points that was destroyed in battle this turn! Of course, she has to be equipped with this card. I wish I could bring back both, but I'm afraid that can't be helped. I'll have to avenge Hermit." Valkyrie came back to the field.

"He's hanging in there, but he's only got 900LP. He's got to do something about that Drum Buster or else he's in trouble." Aoneko voiced her concerns. Everyone was pretty wrapped up in this duel. That's why Aoneko didn't notice someone sneaking up behind her. There was actually one more watching the duel. That one was a woman with long white hair with fox-like ears and wore an autumn-design kimono.

"You might be in the lead for now, but I'm not backing down! I draw!" Demon King said and took his turn.

"We must come up with some sort of comeback otherwise he'll be free to attack all our monsters with that equip spell." Eden guided.

"I already got something. I activate Shield of Edens!" Demon King said. "This allows me to special summon Edens Witch!" His witch emerged on the field with her having 1000atk points.

"Appreciate the eye candy, but those lovely-looking ladies don't have the power to beat me." Wiseman said.

"Maybe, but I'm not finished." Demon King informed. "My witch's special ability allows me to take any spell or trap card from my deck and add it to my hand, and I think I'll take Steel Sorcery and hold that for later. Next, when I have two Edens monsters on the field, I can summon this monster without a tribute. Edens Demon King!" Demon King called as he summoned out his ace monster and it emerged with 2500atk points.

"Okay, that's a different matter." Wiseman said as he thought that one was concerning.

"Now to bring this "hero" of yours down. Edens Demon King, attack with Gravity Fist!" Demon King ordered with his monster going on the attack. It gathered gravity into its fist and smashed against Arsenal with a large explosion going off and Wiseman's life points dropped to 3200. He and Eden thought they got him, but they saw Arsenal was still there. "How is it still there?!"

"It must be some sort of ability." Eden said.

"That's right. All I have to do is send a card equipped on Arsenal to the graveyard and he survives being destroyed." Wiseman said and that means Demon King's other two monsters can't attack.

"I guess I have no other choice except to end my turn." Demon King said.

"And I think it's time I ended this. I draw!" Wiseman said as he thinks he has this won. "I activate Arsenal's ability just as a precaution." He said as he took another card. "I'll take my Weiss Cannon, and activate it right now!" He said and gave Arsenal a new blaster for his arm. "Normally, he can blast away 500 of your monsters points until the end of the turn, but I don't think that's needed. Arsenal, attack Valkyrie and end this!" Arsenal opened fire at her and it seemed like this duel was over, but something happened and the shots were all deflected. "What?!" He didn't get what happened until he saw Edens Demon King did it by warping gravity. "What just happened?"

"I guess you weren't the only one with a surprising ability." Demon King said. "Once per turn, when you attack another one of my monsters, he can completely block that attack."

"Darn it." Wiseman said as he thought that would have ended it, but it didn't and he has no other moves. "Fine. I'll just end my turn."

"And I think it's time we ended this. I draw!" Demon King said. "I'm going to start by summoning Dark Graviton!" His new monster resembled a dark figure that had the rings of an atom around him and had 1300atk points. "Now, I'm activating my Steel Sorcery spell! When I have Edens Witch on the field, I can add a spell or trap from my graveyard to my hand...and the one I choose is Gravity Wave."

"Say what?! Oh man!" Wiseman said as he didn't like where this was going.

"Amazing! They things planned out, it was almost as if they knew what the other was going to do!" Eden claimed.

"I activate my Gravity Wave spell! I'm sure you remember what this does! Your Arsenal now has his attack and defense points switch!" Demon King said as gravity felt like it was shifting around and now had 1300atk points. "That means that my Edens Demon King is now attacking! Attack with Gravity Fist!" His monster attacked and smashed its fist against Arsenal with Wiseman's life points dropping to 2000.

"Of course, I can just send Weiss Cannon to the graveyard and prevent Arsenal from being destroyed." Wiseman said as he tried to save his monster.

"That doesn't help him." Eden said.

"You're right! Valkyrie can attack as her attack points double!" Demon King said as that was what happened. Valkyrie's attack points doubled and she unleashed a series of blades attacking with Arsenal finally being destroyed and Wiseman's life points dropping to 1500. "With him gone, there's nothing protecting you now! Edens Witch and Dark Graviton can attack you directly!" Both of his monsters attacked Wiseman as he was blasted by magic-like attack and a blast of gravity. That knocked out the last of his life points and him off his feet. The duel was now over and Demon King won.

"That's that." Eden said. "Since we won, you now have to return the brief case that you stole."

"Yeah, yeah..." Wiseman said as he sat up. Sore that he lost, but he did what he needed to as he kicked the briefcase over to him. "I might be a thief, but I'm a man of my word."

"Thanks." Demon King said as he took it back. "Why steal this in the first place?"

"That's really none of your business." Wiseman said.

"Well, I suppose what really matters is that we have it back." Demon King said. "Hey, Aoneko! You got all that right?! It might make for a good video!" He turned to Aoneko, but that was when he finally noticed. Aoneko was gone. "Aoneko? Aoneko? Where did she go?"

"I'm not sure. We were more focused on the duel." Eden said.

"Your girlfriend just ditched you? Ouch. That's never a good sign." Wiseman teased.

"Your friend didn't leave on her own choice." That was when they both noticed the woman that was watching their duel showed herself. "Your duel provided the perfect distraction since you and her were focused on it. Your friend was taken."

"Hello there." Wiseman said as he liked what he saw with her.

"Taken?! What do you mean by taken?!" Demon King questioned.

"And who are you?" Eden questioned.

"My name is Kybui in this world, and your friend might be in real danger."

Aoneko

It was just as Kyubi said. During the duel, someone grabbed Aoneko and now she's tied up, unconscious. and being held somewhere. She wasn't the only one either. There were lots of young ladies being held like that and they were all rather scared.

"Urgh... What... What happened?" Aoneko questioned as she was beginning to wake up. When she did, she saw the situation she was in and saw she wasn't alone. "What's going on? Where am I?"

"You're right where you're suppose to be now." That was when she looked up and noticed her captor. It was a guy in black attire with a black scarf and cape. He also had a black headband over his head with messy green hair. "It's nothing personal. It's business." Aoneko might be in real trouble with this one. Demon King better find her fast or else she and these other ladies might never be seen again.
