Beginning AN: here it is the next chapter. read and review but flame reviews will be ignored. I forgot to mention in the part of the previous chapter where I announced what would be next that Hermione will be going to Ravenclaw with Tooty I'm going to fix that here. now on with the story.
Chapter 29: Harry Potter Year 1 part 2.
As Banjo, Kazooie, Tooty, and Gruntilda rode the carriage, a girl with bushy brown hair walked in.
"Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville lost one." She said before blinking. "Are you two bears, a Breegull, and an adult witch?"
"We haven't seen a toad and yes, yes we are." They said in unison before laughing.
"But I can help." Gruntilda said holding out her hands. "A toad is lost now fly to me, before the owner starts to cry."
With that there was a small flash and the road was in her hands.
"Thank you." The girl said taking the road and leaving to return it before returning to the cabin.
"Thanks again." She said. "My name is Hermione Granger. May I sit here? I'd like to get to know you some more. That was very nice magic and I am curious as to what other magic we will learn."
The others introduced themselves and explained their past. Hermione took it okay, though they did have to convince her to lower her mask as a know it all that she uses to protect herself at which point she was fast friends with Tooty, and to a lesser degree the others. She was very shocked about the wonderwing ability that let Banjo and Kazooie defeat the teachers.
While getting to know each other a redheaded boy showed up and said "Is Harry Potter in here? I'm Ron Weasley and I'll be his best friend."
Tooty says "there's nobody going by that name here now leave."
Ron does leave but not before remarking "what is the world coming to? animals being given acceptance letters for Hogwarts is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard."
later on in the ride a platinum blond haired boy showed up and said "is Harry Potter here? I'm looking to make him my friend and try to show what the right sort of people are."
Tooty says "there's nobody here by that name now leave us but first what's your name?"
Draco says "thanks for letting me know. I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy."
Hermione chuckles and he snaps his attention to her and asks "do you think my name is funny?"
Hermione says "no I don't but the way you introduced yourself reminded me of a muggle movie franchise named James Bond 007. in it the title character is an MI6 agent and he always introduces himself in the same style you just did."
Draco says "I didn't know that so I'll be going now."
In the end they arrived at Hogwarts and watched the sorting.
Hermione was sorted into Ravenclaw and cheered for Tooty when she was sorted into Ravenclaw as well. The other students were very surprised by Tooty being a bear until it was explained, but soon it was time for the rest of the announcements.
"First we have two guests, Banjo and Kazooie who are staying here while they are tutored in magic due to not learning about it until they were adults." Dumbledore said as they nodded.
"Second, we have two new teachers this year." Dumbledore continued. "First Professor Quirrel is back from his sabbatical and will be returning to his previous post as muggle studies professor. Second Gruntilda will be taking over O.W.L. and below classes while Professor Snape will be focusing on N.E.W.T. students."
"Third, once more the list of forbidden objects has been increased due to the pranks from last year." Dumbledore said as two red heads further down the table high fived.
"Fourth, the forbidden forest is of course forbidden." Dumbledore said looking directly at the two who high fived earlier, as they only smirked.
"And finally the third floor corridor on the right hand side is forbidden to all who do not wish to die a violent death." Dumbledore finished, making most people blink in shock believing he was joking.
With that the students were led to their dorms for bed.
Ending AN: that's the chapter. sorry if it's a little too short for some readers. I know I mentioned that Draco is more well rounded in personality in this story but I'm thinking of having him turn into a girl anyway in a moment of forgetfulness of what Andromeda threatened in the previous chapter which does include making foolish actions that could reflect badly on the Black family.
Next time: Tiny and Hermione go to their first day of classes. the classes are Transfiguration, Charms, Potions and the first flying lesson. when Draco demands the late night duel Ron accepts on Tooty's behalf while remarking that as a bear she can't possibly be intelligent enough to live through the duel. they show up only to realize it was a trap with Tooty leaving Ron alone to face Fluffy the Cerberus alone which gets him killed by being eaten by the neglected and starving three headed dog. Draco gets the blame and Andromeda follows through with the threat of turning him into a girl.
