A scene opens up as Atomsk waits for TME.
In the meantime, Atomsk was telling ideas for another story with Emerald.
"...So anyway, in that story idea where Finn is gonna help you claim back your home, I thought to use that Laputa place from that movie. Figure it be a test of sorts before using it for a Sonic story." Atomsk said.
"Err… Atomsk?" TME said while he walked in on the tail end of the conversation.
Atomsk looks back.
"Oh hey man. Was just telling Emerald a story idea I'm trying to revive here and hopefully what I said is plotable this time."
"Yeah… Emerald and I don't know this Laputa thing in detail so you'll have to lead that one if your willing to handle key plot moments… anyway ready to start SS's chapter with team 7 and team Emerald fighting Orochimaru?" TME said while he walked near Atomsk with a curious look.
"Yeah. Not sure how this battle ends but I know… Orochimaru will cheat." Atomsk said.
"If its anything like canon, definitely given Orochimaru gives Naruto the 5 finger discounted seal and gives Sasuke the twisted hickey and stuff… hopefully we can alter things abit but not too much given the group right now is fighting someone of Jiraiya and Tsunade's level so yeah… Orochimaru may play around to guage the group… gotta face reality but NO one besides a Kage is ready for Orochimaru… guy is weakest or was weakest of the Akatsuki after all." TME said while he remembered things more.
"Even though Orochimaru was one of them in the past. Either way… Whoever gets the mark… someone will betray the village." Atomsk said.
"Eh maybe… either that or Orochimaru's sound ninja kidnaps one or two people who get the mark or marks, still thinking Sasuke and maybe Emerald just so Orochimaru can fuck with Danzo or something… maybe Orochimaru, curious with Naruto and his spiders and traps gives Naruto a cursed mark alongside that 5 pronged seal but a bit extra out of curiosity's sake?... guys twisted enough for that after all." TME suggests since it would give interesting times.
"True… tough decisions here if you ask me… don't want to spoil it though." Atomsk said.
"Indeed… though will say this… don't expect things to be fully canon… just saying dear readers… for now… enjoy the fight." TME said as the scene shifts to…
Forest of Death/ ?/ Emerald, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura
Right now at this time, the battle with the grass ninja that started with the summons of a monstrous summon of a snake summon happened with the grass ninja throwing explosive kunai towards the others and Emerald moved to pick up Sakura bridal style as Naruto and Sasuke jumped away from the Kunai and they explode destroying some large branches.
The group were able to get a good distance.
"Damn… we get out of here fast." Naruto said.
"Easier said than done." The Grass ninja said with an amused look as they ride the massive snake that chased the four Genin while Emerald looks at Sakura in his arms.
"Got any ideas on how to deal with that snake Sakura?" Emerald said while he used some agility to make sure he didn't drop Sakura as he carried her in his arms more while jumping hard from branch to branch.
Sakura tries to think.
"I-I don't know. Maybe… we trap it in a pit or something."
Emerald hears that and blinks when he had an idea from that.
"Oh that could work… Sakura you genius!" Emerald said when he kissed Sakura on the cheek and moved to jump to run/jump near Naruto.
Sakura blushes from this as Naruto blinks when he sees Emerald coming.
When Emerald got nearby after Emerald used a large fireball Jutsu to spook the massive snake and hinder the Ninja, Naruto and the others jumped to hide as Emerald sets Sakura on her feet and Emerald looks at Naruto.
"Listen Naruto, you're the key to a plan Sakura and I had… mainly to deal with that snake… if the three of us can distract that bastard can you make a huge enough pit with Earth Jutsu and Shadow clones a ways away so that we can deal with that grass ninja and not the snake?" Emerald said while he REALLY hoped Naruto got where Emerald was going with this.
Naruto blinks again before realizing what Emerald was saying.
"Leave it to me." He said while grinning.
"Nice… the rest of us will hold this guy off so make a shadow clone to help with keeping him from noticing." Emerald said while Naruto made a clone and as the group splits from Naruto himself, Emerald, Sasuke, Sakura who was FAR in the back to not get noticed first, and Naruto's clone watch as the Grass ninja and the snake he was on busts through the wall of fire made by the Fireball Jutsu and the branches.
"My my… if I didn't know any better I would think you didn't want this Heaven Scroll I have." The Grass ninja said while he showed a Heaven scroll in their hand.
Sasuke narrows his eyes.
"Despite the goal… you won't be baiting us."
"Really?... a shame than… guess I may as well be careful since Ninja don't do what they say sometimes." The Grass Ninja said as they leaned their head back and well… nuff said they actually swallowed the scroll whole while everyone saw that happen before them.
"D-Dear Kami." Sakura said as she couldn't believe what she witnessed.
"Damn… Lillum would be jealous if she saw that." Emerald said while he watched as the Grass Ninja looks amused with the looks he got.
"What can I say… I am a snake in the grass after all." The grass Ninja said making Emerald's eyes widen when he heard that.
"What?... oh… fucking… if you are who I think you are… Sakura… even if your plan worked… I think this guy would be worse than the snake by a fucking mile." Emerald said when he actually had a rare scared look on his face when he REALLY wished he and the others were not here right now.
Sakura was surprised at the look.
"W-What do you mean?" She said.
"Yeah you remember those history books?... Naruto may not given he slept a lot in history class… but… guess who is a snake user in a lagendary trio… one that has powerful snake like abilities." Emerald said while he gripped Onimusha tightly.
Sakura was confused before her eyes widened.
"No… you mean…" she said as she looks at the grass nin.
"Yeah… I do… maybe unlikely and I REALLY hope I'm wrong… but we maybe fighting not an abnormal grass Nin… but Orochimaru… the Legendary Snake Sannin… after all if this guy is who I think he is… he may also be the one to help my old man with this fucked up arm of mine." Emerald said amusing the Grass ninja.
"Kukuku… you know all I did was just supply some things… was all Danzo in that kind of unique surgery though I did help with a few… honestly with how far things went… may as well not pretend for now." The Grass ninja said before moving to rip an artificial face off their real face… and many saw the face of Orochimaru the Legendary Snake Sannin as Emerald grits his teeth.
"Sasuke… you may want to consider this a demo if we somehow live… I heard from my old man that Orochimaru used to belong to a group Itachi is in… I forgot what they did but they were called Akatsuki… Orochimaru used to be the weakest one there… mainly because he was the brains and not the brawn… if we can't even move much with Orochimaru… I highly doubt we can hold a candle to your brother or my old man." Emerald said with a serious tone to his voice as he got on guard and right now Emerald oddly calmed down amusing Orochimaru when he could feel Emerald's killing intent and seriousness in that guarded stance.
"You know… if you surrender, I may go easy you gennin and let one of you live." Orochimaru said.
Emerald growls and moved with more speed as his sealed arm glows and he moved to get behind Orochimaru and tried to bisect him from the head down but the Snake moved with more speed and tail whipped Emerald to the side with Emerald crying out in pain as he slammed into a treeside.
"Emerald!" Sakura said as Orochimaru made a tsk noise.
"I figure the son of Danzo can do better."
Emerald when he heard that as he fell growls as his eyes glow ominously for half a second before he launched himself off the tree and charged Orochimaru with Onimusha at the ready, this time the blade glows with a black aura intriguing Orochimaru a bit and he opened his mouth wide before some kind of sword exits his mouth and he used it to block the attack though while he was able to hold the attack back, the Snake was slowly pushed down as Emerald growls more when he used the blade one handed to try and push back Orochimaru one handed since his left arm was not able to grip the handle.
Sakura had this thought when she was shocked.
'D-did that sword just appeared?' She thought as Sasuke narrow his eyes since he was doing nothing while Naruto was still doing the plan.
Though the Clone of Naruto grits his teeth and rushed around while planting various seals that he got from the original who held them and while nothing on their own, they were traps made by Naruto well after he practiced his calligraphy and in no time as Orochimaru forced Emerald back, the Clone made a hand seal.
"Space/time Ninjutsu!: Chrono lock!" Naruto growls while he used a lot of his Chakra which was most in his clone body and as the seals glowed in a bluish way, Orochimaru was shocked his and the Snake's body was momentarily stopped when Naruto some kind of barrier to freeze him in place, thankfully Emerald fell past the edge of the barrier and the Clone looks at the others.
"I can hold him for one minute!... get to where Kurama and Lillum are!" Naruto's clone said when he felt his Chakra drain more and with no Chakra, no body for him so the group either had to wait for the Clone to run out of Chakra or run like hell, this made Emerald jump when he lands on the branch and launched a wave like energy attack at Orochimaru though the attack stopped near him and as Emerald rejoined Sakura and Sasuke, the trio rush away to try and deal with the snake at first while the Clone of Naruto grins when he looks at Orochimaru as nearly a minute passes.
"Hehe… enjoy the attacks you bastard!" Naruto said as the Clone poofed away and Orochimaru was freed though he had to swiftly slice Emerald's attacks to keep them from hitting them and though he was irked he was delayed, he did smirk when that plan wasn't bad.
"Impressive… but that won't stop me." Orochimaru said.
He and the snake than quickly track Emerald, Sakura, and Sasuke as they leaped from tree to tree while they high tailed it hard, thankfully Naruto left Marks only Sasuke and Emerald knew so while Sakura worried where Naruto was, Emerald and Sasuke were confident that Naruto could help with the trap to be… thankfully as they lept by a large tree, the group saw Naruto as he gestured for them to follow him and when they did they jumped over the area that Naruto passed and Orochimaru and his snake appeared.
"There you are!" Orochimaru growls with a grin though he blinks when many seals under the snake appeared as Naruto grins when the snake was stopped its place and Orochimaru jumped off as the group broke and well… Orochimaru looks a bit surprised on a branch as he watched as the Snake fell in a massive hole big enough for it as at the bottom was not darkness, but many spiders who quickly went to devour the snake and Orochimaru looks amused when he looks at Naruto.
"Clever, and here I thought I as the twisted one but using spiders like that… seems I may have competition in being a nightmare in Ninja's minds." Orochimaru said as he held his sword when he looks at the four Ninja.
Naruto narrows his eyes.
"Either way, I don't intend to get cocky." He said with a guard look.
Around this time, Anko was rushing through the woods while she found the bodies of three dead Ninja from Grass, and one of them had a missing face… the same one who gave her Kunai back earlier before the exams started.
"Fuck… Fuck…. FUCK!" Anko growls while she rushed faster and as this happened, with Naruto, Emerald, Sasuke, and Orochimaru… things went bad FAST for the Genin group since a minute or two passed… Naruto even used Kurama's chakra while Kurama and Lillum were approaching the four and saw Naruto getting a long tongue wrapped around his neck and Orochimaru growls.
"Five Element seal!" Orochimaru thought as he applied the Jutsu after lifting Naruto's shirt and Naruto got wide eyes and Kurama got a similar look as well when she lost many tails as her connect to Naruto was crippled exponentially only allowing her one tail and Naruto was tossed back when he was knocked out as Sakura used a Kunai to keep Naruto from falling as Kurama nearly fell from the tree when she seemed knocked out as well.
"Kurama!" Lillum called while she used a web Jutsu to catch Kurama before she could fall and Emerald, Sasuke, and Sakura were shocked that happened, Naruto placed a few traps when he got ready to move but Orochimaru using his tongue as Naruto tried to use Kurama's chakra to get free had Orochimaru use that and Ororochimaru chuckles.
"Gave him a special seal to keep him out of this fight… and a bit more for later if he wakes… anyway… now that the pest is gone…" Orochimaru said while he looks at he trio while Lillum had to support Kurama as they worked their way to Naruto with Kurama barely conscious…
Emerald had to block an attack from Orochimaru while Sasuke, getting his bearings while he was more aggravated actually activated his second Tomoe level of the Sharingan and was able to back Emerald with Kunai and various Jutsu when he could keep up sightwise with Orochimaru's movements, Emerald was able to keep up with his senses but thanks to some Jutsu's used while Orochimaru seemed to guage them… he looks amused as he felt like now was a good time to leave.
"Well I should make my escape since I'm thrilled things went this well… honestly I feel like leaving gifts for such promising Genin." Orochimaru said when he made a seal and faster than some could react, Orochimaru's head somehow shot over with his neck lengthening and well… Emerald was bitten faster than many could react while Emerald screams bloody murder as Orochimaru pulled his head back while Emerald gripped the area where he was bitten.
"Emerald!" Lillum said with wide eyes.
"What did you do!?" Sasuke said amusing Orochimaru.
"Just a going away gift to annoy Danzo and to keep that Sword swinger to stop me from getting my real target." Orochimaru said while he grins evilly at Sasuke and Sakura got wide eyes when she saw what was going to happen and as Sasuke was too tired from rapidfire Jutsu to do anything… he was shocked when he was suddenly poofed away as Sakura actually used a Substitution Jutsu and Sakura screams when she took Sasuke's place in the hit making Orochimaru bite her while Orochimaru was a bit surprised Sakura would do that as Sakura screams when she fell to her knees as Orochimaru looks really amused now.
"Well now… that was unexpected… looks like I may have to change things up later Sasuke-kun so I can give you this gift later… for now though… good luck with keeping your allies intact… pretty sure this one and your sword wielding friend will have VERYdifferent reactions when the seals I used on them take effect…. Try and grow stronger though since I may not hold back if you don't impress me like you did today." Orochimaru said as he starts to sink into the ground with some kind of Jutsu and as he gave a Kukuku like laugh, he vanished leaving Sasuke and Lillum the only fit people of the two groups actually conscious while Emerald and Sakura had collapsed much to Lillum and Sasuke's shock.
"Emerald! Sakura-Chan!" Lillum said with a worried look as Kurama and Naruto was still knocked out.
Though seems Emerald and Sakura were intense pain as the scene shifts a bit to MUCH later, to show that Lillum and Sasuke were with Emerald, Sakura, Naruto, and Kurama while the four were laying on the ground as Lillum used a wooden bowl to give Emerald and Sakura water when they seemed the most pained and Kurama and Naruto were knocked out still after what Orochimaru did to him… whatever he did must have messed with the connection with Naruto and Kurama so this happened in a domino effect like way.
"Damnit… what did that bastard do?" Lillum wondered when she looks to see seals of sorts on Emerald and Sakura's necks while they gave Lillum a bad feeling after she made sure to wipe sweat from the four people's foreheads.
Sasuke was angry.
"I don't know… but bastard is gonna pay." He said but he had to be calmed.
"Lillum… there a way you can call in your family for reinforcements? Not sure how long they'll be before they are awake."
"Yeah but will take some time… may live in the forest of Death and here or there but if you want my mom, she won't be here mainly since she was trying to be fair in the Genin exams… maybe Shelob if I channel enough chakra… either way thanks to all the rushing… it will be a bit before I can even do that though given I need to make sure these two have a break in their fever so I can focus without worry." Lillum said since Emerald and Sakura had extremely high fevers… as long as Lillum helped keep them cool, no worries, if not… could be bad for both… Naruto and Kurama were just knocked out so they didn't have to worry much about them but until further notice… just Lillum and Sasuke to defend themselves and the others.
"Hmmm… do what you can, I'll be on the lookout in case someone comes." Sasuke said.
Lillum nods while she watched as Sasuke walked out and he sat on a rock near the entryway but honestly… on the inside… Sasuke was livid… he froze up when Orochimaru came by and if he was the weakest of this so called Akatsuki group… as he was now… no way in hell he could take on Itachi as he was…
"Fuck… fuck!" Sasuke growls while high in the trees…
"Aww… looks like the Uchiha is fuming… shame we can't keep him company unless its daybreak." A female sound Ninja leaning against a tree while two other ninja, a ninja wearing bandages and a sound headband was seen while another with a sound headband and spiky hair was seen nearby.
"Get your mind out of the gutter Kin. We have a job to do." The spiky hair man said.
The female Ninja, Kin, rolls her eyes at that.
"Considering we have to wait for daybreak at least, may as well get us some food to pass time, I'll get us some food, you two wait here just in case." the female Ninja said as she jumped away as quiet as she could leaving the Spiky haired sound ninja with the bandaged sound ninja.
The spiky hair ninja scoffs.
"So Dosu, now that the bitch is gone. What's the plan?"
"Simple Zaku, when daybreak happens, run wild like you normally do, Orochimaru-sama's word is law… or do you want to earn his ire?" Dosu said while he used one eye to look at his ally seriously.
The now revealed Zaku jolts.
"N-No. I rather live." He said.
"Hmph… good… least Kin is getting us some food so keep an eye and ear out if anyone tries to approach." Dosu said when he looked back to watch Sasuke as Sasuke stays on guard for awhile.
As time passed with Lee helping a squirrel from an exploding tag and Neji nearly losing his temper with ino's team, the scene went to Lillum and Sasuke after they took turns napping and watching over the others and well…
"My my… looks like we have a doting duo here." A voice said making Sasuke and Lillum get on guard when they saw Team Dosu, or the ninja from sound who harmed Kabuto during the first phase.
"And good to know we don't have to way up Sasuke-kun here… though honestly if you could wake up that brat with the tin can on his arm that should make things more even." Dosu said while he, Kin, and Zaku look amused when they look at the duo.
Sasuke narrows his eyes.
"Let me guess… Orochimaru sent you three."
"Hmmm?... and how do you know that name?" Dosu asked while Lillum scoffed.
"Are you kidding, you guys showing now after that Orochimaru bastard harmed my Emerald and Sakura by biting them and leaving those weird marks, and even knocking Naruto and Kurama-chan out by using some kind of finger seal on Naruto's stomach… you think we're idiots." Lillum said when she looked angered while the three sound ninja look surprised by the fact that Orochimaru bit Emerald and Sakura.
"What?… two people got bitten?" Kin said with a surprise look.
Dosu shakes his head.
"Don't matter. It's three on two so… here's the deal, give us the man with the tin can and we'll leave you be."
"What?... Orochimaru didn't even want to bite them and just did so because Emerald would get in the way… and Sakura took a hit for me…, so why would he want Emerald?" Sasuke said while Zaku looks amused.
"Hell if we know, we just follow orders, either take the mercy here or get ready to die." Zaku said while he got ready to charge though Dosu stopped him.
"Wait…" Dosu said while he looks around and noticed stuff.
"You need better eyes Zaku, threads are everywhere… one wrong move and you would either be stuck in place or sliced to ribbons." Dosu said making Lillum tsk as Kin on her end looks amused.
"Well lets get rid of these and charge the duo, if we kill that bitch next to Sasuke, can can deal with the rest as we see fit and maybe more… heard from Orochimaru that Emerald guy was dangerous." Kin said while she smirks as she threw some needles around slicing many webs apart making a path for the trio.
"Damn… wish Naruto was awake since his traps are fool proof." Sasuke said.
"Well shame that blondie isn't awake… now… lets dance!" Zaku said as he, Dosu, and Kin rushed forward as Lillum smirks when she used a quick pseudo transformation to fire a spider leg from her back to a particular nearby web and in no time not only was a large log swinging towards them, another from the back with spikes was swinging their way as well.
Kin noticed and her eyes widened.
"Look out!" She said before dodging.
"Oh shit!" Dosu said before he got serious.
"As if…" Dosu said as he held a hand forward and by using sound, blasts apart the log and thanks to the momentum of the two other pieces broken in a calculated way, they knock into the larger spiked log slowing it down.
"Not sure what the fuck you are but you need to do better if you want to deal with the three of us." Dosu said when he and his allies fly more but something large, green and with something furry on its shoulder came flying in the area.
"Leaf Spinning wind!" A familiar voice said as all three ninja were knocked back as Rock fucking Lee himself came to save the day while he had the Squirrel from earlier on one shoulder.
"What the fuck?!" Zaku said as Neji and Tenten also appear.
The key thing on this was two things, instead of going directly to the group, thanks to the fact that A, Lee here would be stronger in canon than his normal self, he managed to get to Neji and TenTen and thanks to the fact that Emerald sometimes trained with them, sometimes with Naruto, sometimes with Sasuke, and mainly shopping at TenTen, well he summoned a large mace and held it.
"You know, not sure why you guys are gunning for them but those are my best customers you know." TenTen said while she didn't look amused now when she saw the condition team 7 and Team Emerald were in, only Lillum and Sasuke were actually standing fully and TenTen passed Sasuke a scroll.
"Here you owe me big time later at my shop since some of those weapons there are not low level ones, try and not break them if you can." TenTen said while Team Dosu looks irritated when they saw the three ninja before them.
"Hey bitch! No one invited your team." Zaku said.
Neji though used his speed to get before Zaku.
"And no one invited you, now begone!" Neji said when he used a few quick strikes to hit Zaku's Chakra points in his arms and stomach, blasting him back while he had his Byakugan activated.
Zaku groans from that.
"Fuck!" He said as he was pushed back.
As Dosu moved to try and attack, Lee kicked him from the side with extreme speed knocking him back and Lee and Neji swapped while Neji had a calm expression as he got before Dosu while Lee kept an eye on Zaku while Lillum and Sasuke saw how well oiled of a team they were.
"Whoa… gotta say that is… impressive." Lillum said while TenTen looks amused.
"You don't know the half of it." TenTen said though as this went on, in the little tree hut from roots… right now Emerald and Sakura were groaning in their sleep as they both had differing dreams… for Sakura…
Sakura's dream/ ?
"Man how weak can you be?... honestly Emerald, Sasuke, Naruto-sama, and many more save your weak ass daily… I'll admit to being rather vein for Sasuke in the past but even I learned to not hold my team back." Dream Ino said to Sakura who was standing in the middle of some kind of voice of sorts.
Sakura couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"I'm not weak." She said.
"Really?" Sakura heard and when she looks she saw her… inner Sakura self of all things though she was a lot more solid looking and similar to Sakura and had an unnerving grin when she looks amused and somewhat unhinged.
Sakura's eyes widened.
"W-Who or what are you?" She said.
"What?... don't recognize your inner self?... hehe… honestly figured you would get that this is what you really are… a weakling with no real strength… thats why I'm here… the side of you that you kept locked away acting like a prim and proper bitch, honestly if I was in charge could so much better, Naruto is taken so to speak and will have a large wall to climb to get with him, Sasuke pretty much was annoyed by you to the point that your just a weak annoyance to him… Emerald… hehe… well given he got our first times… may as well see how things go there… but none of that will matter if you die… you think this is a normal dream?... no… honestly we're in a life and death situation and your sleeping like an idiot who pretty much may as well die while being weak in many people's eyes… honestly if you had more power you could do so much more yet you wasted that by pretty much playing the fangirl instead of using your head to train." Sakura's inner self said while she mocked Sakura's strength and the fact that Sasuke may not like her and Naruto would have issues to get with while Emerald would be a low hurdle… honestly it was like her inner self was bombarding her with many dark thoughts and emotions Sakura locked away as her inner self grins cruelly.
Sakura was taken back by this before getting upset.
"No! You are wrong! They wouldn't abandon me."
"Your right… right now you're just a third wheel needed to get by this exam… however… what if you didn't have to worry about that and actually fight with more power." The Inner Sakura said while she gained some snake like looking eyes…
In Emerald's mind…
Emerald's Mind/ ?
"Pathetic… and here I thought you would be a good weapon to keep the Jinchuriki under control if he went wild… looks like we need to go back to the drawing board and make improvements to you Emerald." A voice said showing a MUCH younger Emerald fighting a Root Ninja but getting his ass kicked hard and Emerald coughed up blood while he looks horrified.
"N-No!... n-not again…" Emerald groans while Danzo looks amused at the fear on Emerald's face.
"Get up boy. You don't get to rest till you win." Danzo said.
Emerald on his end looks fearful when he got up but was kicked in the chin hard when he was launched back by the Root Ninja and as he flew through the air… he had a thought as he flew back more.
"Why?... why?... why… am I so weak!" Emerald thought when memories flew threw his head, some of Zycros… Orochimaru… Naruto quickly catching up in strength… honestly the longer this Chunnin exam went, the more he got his ass handed to him and as that happpened… he ended up in a black void while a demonic voice spoke around him.
"Should be obvious isn't it?"
Emerald opened his eyes so to spean and looks back to see a twisted version of himself with blood red eyes and had lines circling them with tomoe in the lines.
"What!?" Emerald said as the doppleganger grins darkly.
"Its because you have no real talent… relying on what was given to you to make you this strong… all you're good for is being a watch dog for Danzo more or less… it was simple when you were young but now… real talented people are showing up left right and center and soon… people like even the trap heavy Naruto will surpass a guy like you… honestly its sickening in seeing this." The Doppleganger said as he grins cruelly.
"Still you are receptive to many things… maybe another power added to this will tip the scales…" the Dark double said while in reality…
