Small spoiler... I used (and will be using) Google Translate for Sven since he only spoke Swedish ^^'

Also- HELLO! It's 5iveAM! I'm not dead! I've been caught up in my own stories... then stopped writing for almost a year and have been working on comics. Now it's 4:30 AM and I have to go to work at 9! I'M SO DAMN TIRED AND CAN'T SLEEP!

I recently got a fav and follow on this story in particular and it brought back a lot of memories. I reread the entire story and now I'm going to get back to work on it!

What felt like an hour passed. Felix tried to rest when Mr. Chair mentioned it, but he just couldn't sleep. His mind was racing. Finally he sighed and sat up, sliding off the bed to join Mr. Chair and Piggeh on the floor. "So… Stephano mentioned stuff about the armor being able to attack now? I haven't seen any of those stupid things around."

Beside him, Mr. Chair's figure had stiffened.

"Are they human like you guys? Is everything… human? The Barrels and everything else? Except the Bro and those guys… They're still monsters." Felix stopped when he noticed the brunette's shoulders shaking. "Mr. Chair?"

He flinched. "Huh?!" Brown eyes blinked and he repeated, "Huh?"

"You alright?"

"Y-yeah… I'm fine." Beside him the pink haired male gave his hand a squeeze and Mr. Chair smiled softly. "Sorry PewDie, it's just that… well… my leg." His free hand felt the area just below his knee where the pant leg was ripped. "The statues were the ones that took it."

Taking that in the Swede couldn't keep back the sudden "I'm so sorry" that blurted out.

"No no, it's alright. You didn't know."

"Stephano told me the Bro did that." Not that it made things any better. "If you don't mind me asking… What happened?" It had been a while since Jennifer and Stephano had left to look for Sven. A story - though i'll be it a painful one - was a good way to pass the time. Felix then quickly added, "You don't have to tell me. I just want to know… what happened to Mayo."

Piggeh was giving him a hard stare but when Mr. Chair kept his small grin, the other backed off. He leaned in and whispered something but was pushed back ever so gently. "It's fine, Percy. He has a right to know." Mr. Chair kept his tight grip on Piggeh's hand as he gave Felix his full attention.

"Mayo and I had been up above in the higher parts of the castle. This was… a little after a month since you'd left so we weren't in hiding much. Stephano wanted us to be on the search for you regularly in case we needed to help you out. Sadly, Mayo and I were in one of the corridors with the statues. Usually they just stand there… maybe move to block your way but that was about it.

"That day changed everything. I had something cut across my back and I fell. Mayo didn't know I had been hurt and wanted to help me up when the statue that had knocked me know-" Something caught in his throat making Mr. Chair stutter and stop. He swallowed hard on whatever he'd choked on and continued without looking back at the other. "The statue cut my leg off with its sword. So easy. Like it was a piece of withered wood."

When he stopped again, Felix didn't push him on. He knew telling the story must weigh a lot on him. Patiently he waited and was even prepared for him to stop altogether.

"That's when we heard the Bro. Mayo tried so hard to help me but I just couldn't move. Then he… he protected me. He took so many hits for me." Tears slowly dripped down his face at first sparsely then in small streams. "I yelled at him to stop. He was like my little brother. He- He did more for me than I could have ever done for anyone."

Felix attempted to stop him there, but Mr. Chair kept going.

"By the time Stephano got there, Mayo was already gone. I'd never seen him so angry… He attacked the Bro head on and his sword shattered. I guess it stunned the monster because Stephano had time to help me up and run." That was when Mr. Chair reached down and pulled his pant leg up. "Him and Skully helped fix me. It was all we could do."

Felix's stomach flopped. It took all of his willpower not to vocally gag. Nothing about the wound was sickening, but just thinking of how it felt was what made him sick. Apart from being a little red, Mr. Chair's skin had healed and seemingly grown into the literal chair leg. It was literally a chair's leg. Fitting, but also insulting. The leg looked like it had been shoved inside him, growing from within the folded skin below his knee. Again, it didn't look infected but just the painful thought of wood on flesh had Felix's stomach doing flips.

With his insides under control, the Swede was finally able to say, "Mr. Chair, you were always a huge help. Though I was the one who threw you a lot of the times, you helped distract the Bro and saved my ass so many times." He averted his gaze from the horrible memories tied to that chair leg in order to look into those faintly hopeful eyes. "I may have doubted you a lot near the end, but you've always been a bro and you always will be." Felix offered up his fist and the other happily brofisted back.

The happy moment was interrupted by a sudden loud crack in the distance. It echoed and gave Felix goosebumps. "What the hell was that?"

"Gunshots," Mr. Chair answered looking just as panicked as Felix felt. "It's the Barrels."

"Wait a minute-! The Barrels have GUNS?!"

"They found them," Mr. Chair explained. "No idea where but now they've all got them."

"Holy mother of- Are you serious?"

Piggeh nodded.

"Fucking hell…" Felix tried to mess with his shirt but the dried blood on it made it gross. Again… he forgot about the blood. Trying not to think about everything going on outside of his ability to help, Felix rummaged through the small room but with no luck finding a shirt. It was just a writing room after all.

A finger tapped his shoulder and when he spun around, Piggeh was holding up a black shirt. "Where'd you find that?" And the other silently answered by pointing out the open door to their room which across the hall was a bedroom. "Oh… Well, thanks. Have you ever thought of changing your ripped shirt?" Piggeh glanced down and after a moment's thought, shrugged.

"I think he likes people looking at him," Mr. Chair chimed in, glad to also not be thinking about other things. "The rips lets you see more of him." Piggeh finger gunned that and gave a cocky grin.

In a clean shirt again and dealing with the fact that his new pants were just bloody forever, Felix sat at the bed with his head resting on the foot of it. Why there was a bed in a writing room yet no wardrobe for shirts… stupid castle design. They waited for a while longer until Felix began to get uncomfortable. He had to take a piss. Bad. At first he ignored it but then he realised that they hadn't passed anything qualifying as a bathroom YET soooo…..

"Hey, are there any bathrooms in this place?"

Piggeh flinched at the question.

"Bathroom?" Mr. Chair seemed equally as confused.

"Yeah. You know. Toilet? I really need to go."

Piggeh blinked at him like he was stupid while Mr. Chair tried to understand.

"You're telling me you've never gone to the bathroom?"

"Not for a long time anyway. We don't eat either, remember," Mr. Chair explained.

"Great… Well I need to fuckin' go! Bad!"

"Uh… you can pee in a pot or something?"

"What are the chances that I named a pot in Amnesia and it will curse at me for taking a leak in it?!"

Mr. Chair laughed at that. "I don't think you made any pot friends, PewDie."

Piggeh pointed out the door then.

"I doubt I can pee in the other bedroom, Piggeh."

The pink haired man sighed, got up, and went into the hall and pointed again.

Felix followed. He wasn't pointing at anything. "What?"

"..." He pointed AGAIN. At nothing.

"What?! I don't get it!"

With an exaggerated flail of his arms, Piggeh suddenly yelled, "PISS IN THE HALL! You're a fucking man! You can pee wherever you damn well want! Just whip out the rubber hose and water the damn floor! No one cares!"

That alone about had Felix wet his pants. "Uh… Okay."

After he relieved himself a short way down the hall, Felix came back to the room. "So you do know how to talk," he said to Piggeh who just glared at him. "Nuh-uh, you talked. You can't just not talk now."

With a growl he said, "You act like everything is just o-fucking-kay if I'm talking. I'd rather keep my own thoughts in here," he pointed to his head, "rather than out here," he gestured to the room. "I may be here, but I'm only here for Chester. I still haven't forgiven you yet." Piggeh linked his arm over Mr. Chair's shoulders protectively.

Felix nodded and sat back on the floor, feeling upset again. He couldn't beat himself up enough for leaving them behind. "I don't mean to act like an ass. I'm just bad at expressing myself."

"Not an excuse."

"And I don't deal well with stress. I just don't want to think about it."

"Heh. That's easy for the one who didn't have to live in this stupid place."

"I know I made a huge mistake! I don't know how else to pay you guys back other than helping you get out! Can you lay off of it?"

Piggeh's eyes narrowed. "I haven't said a damn word this entire time. I at least get one free shot at you since I haven't been hammering it down your throat that you abandoned us."

"You already got your shot when you punched me back there." Felix knew he'd get a bruise on his jaw from that. "And I deserved it."

"Damn right you did."

"So can we just forget that other stuff for a while and be a team? You can beat the shit out of me later if you want, but for now can we just get along? Please Piggeh?" Felix ran his fingers through his hair. "I'm stressed knowing this is all real. The monsters- and you guys? Knowing I fucking left you down here? Do you understand how that makes me feel?"

"Like an ass?"

"Worse. I feel like someone who didn't know they locked a puppy in a closet." The blonde sat forward, face in his hands. "I feel like someone who… I fucking abandoned my closest friends without even knowing it. I'm the fucking worst person I can think of." His fingers found his hair again and grabbed hold. "There's no metaphor strong enough to explain what an asshole I feel like. I just… I just- I want to make it right! A-and I don't… know… I don't know… how…"

Silence.

Felix was holding back on any tears he felt. He's already cried once in front of Gonzales after he promised himself he wouldn't. Now he needed to hold back all of that. It really wasn't the time for crying and emotions. They needed to be strong if they wanted to get out of there.

"You're taking a step in the right direction."

Felix looked up.

Piggeh wasn't looking his way, but his expression was relaxed. Felix hadn't noticed before but Piggeh had been carrying a lot of stress himself. More than the Swede had originally thought. The lines on his forehead were a lot smoother now and the firm line of his lips was gone. Piggeh glanced back at him and the genuine smile made butterflies blossom inside Felix. "Thanks for saying all that stuff. I'm still pissed, but thanks. Truly didn't think you really cared, to be honest. I thought you just wanted the fuck out. You proved me wrong."

The blonde smiled back. "Damn straight I care about you guys."

More gunshots sounded. They'd been going off but were now growing closer.

"SPRINGA!"

Felix sat up straight from that. "Run?" He got to the door Stephano and Jennifer had left from. Pressing his ear to the door, he listened.

Shouts, gunshots, footsteps. They were all growing louder.

"KÖR SNABBARE, DIG IDIOTER!"

"You know we don't understand you!" That was Stephano's voice!

"He said 'run faster'!" Jennifer too!

Felix jumped away from the door just moments before it was thrown open. The four came tumbling into the room before slamming it shut. Stephano grabbed a hold of the Swede's arm and jerked him from the room back out into the hall. Mr. Chair and Piggeh were close behind them as the group with their new member fled.

"PewDie?" the blonde asked, eyes wide and a wonderful shade of yellow. There was makeup around his eyes too, oranges and greens. He was truly different from the others but in a good way.

"Yep, but we can catch up later, Sven! Running for now!"

Hearing his name, the blonde's eyes lit up even more. "Du har det, chefen!"

"That rat better not be talking shit," Piggeh grumbled.

"And he speaks!" Gonzales sarcastically remarked.

"Can you all shut up!" Stephano yelled. "You're all too noisy!"

"You're the one yelling," Piggeh pointed out with a way too loud laugh from Gonzales.

"Really, you're all loud," Jennifer muttered.

Felix smiled even as he heard the door in the writing room break down. Everyone really did seem so much more cheerful with Piggeh talking. Not that it made everyone sunshine and rainbows, but it was getting things back to normal. They'd found everyone that wanted to escape the castle. Now all that was left was to get to the basement and get out of the hatch and go the fuck home.
