General Hikaru Kimuya stood at the ready outside of Fujinomiya. One of the Gigans would surely come here since it was where the first had landed. Kimuya was 55 years old, but still was in good physical shape. He had once been a part of G-force, and now he would have to deal with yet another monster. Multiple, in fact.

Just then, he received a message on his walkie talkie. He lifted it up and heard,

"General! Another monster's coming! It's as big as the others!"

"Get me a visual!"

However, a visual wouldn't be needed, as Kimuya suddenly heard an explosion and looked up to see smoke coming out of Mount Fuji. Out of the smoke walked a figure that wasn't recognizable at first. But as it grew closer, Kimuya could instantly recognize the silhouette. But it couldn't be. He was supposed to be dead. The other soldiers with him looked up in shock too.

They may have either not been born at the time of the last Godzilla attack or have been too young to remember them, but they had heard the stories. One of them asked,

"Is that…?"

Another one finished the question.

"Godzilla?"

Some of the soldiers in the tanks panicked and began firing on Godzilla, even as Kimuya, who knew it wouldn't do anything, yelled at them,

"No, don't shoot!"

As expected, the tank shells didn't even make Godzilla flinch. The tanks kept firing, even as Godzilla reached Fujinomiya and began stomping through it. But Kimuya noticed something. The Godzilla he had previously encountered would have fired on them as soon as he noticed them. But it was almost as if this Godzilla was purposefully ignoring them.

This was indeed the case, as Junior was honoring his vow to not hurt the humans, no matter how much they annoyed him.

A few hours later, it was the dead of night. A Gigan Miles was blowing up districts with a swing of it's claws, and roared to the sky in bestial triumph. However, it heard another roar behind it. It turned around and was surprised to see an organic monster standing behind it. The organic was a large, charcoal-skinned and muscular beast, possessing a row of spikes on its back and piercing orange-yellow eyes.

The 2 monsters roared at each other, engaging in a sort of "conversation" with each other.

"Unidentified lifeform, identify yourself."

"I'm the one who's going to kill you if you don't leave this place now."

"Do you think you have any form of authority over me?"

"Hmph. Want to come here and say that?"

"Challenge accepted."

The Gigan Miles flew at Godzilla with blinding speed, but the king of monsters simply grabbed it and threw it aside. The Gigan Miles attempted to strike again, but Godzilla thrashed it to the ground, causing a huge impact. The Gigan Miles was shocked. How was this organic overpowering it?

It unleashed a yellow beam from its forehead, hitting Godzilla straight in the face. However, all this seemed to do was anger the monster king, who grabbed the Gigan Miles's head and threw it into the distance. However, this gave the Gigan Miles the opportunity to activate the buzzsaw in its chest and fly at Godzilla, with the intent of slicing him open.

However, Godzilla's durable skin was barely fazed by the blade, and his dorsal plates began to glow blue. The Gigan Miles barely had time to react as a beam of pure radiation came bursting at it with immeasurable speeds. It was hit dead on by the blast, causing it to fall to the ground in a heap. As Godzilla walked forward to finish it off, he heard a noise behind him.

The young monster king saw 4 Gigan Miles descend from the sky and hover in front of him. In response, the monster king's dorsal plates began to glow blue again. They flickered briefly before the atomic breath was unleashed on the Gigans, causing a massive explosion. Godzilla simply stared at the crater where the Gigans once stood, not batting an eye. He then heard the last remaining Gigan Miles attempt to flee, so he turned around to continue the beatdown.

A few hours later, the day had broken over Japan. As a Gigan Miles scanned the area for any more things to destroy, another one of its kind came flying at him. He avoided it as it crashed to the ground and let out one final war before its visor went dim for good. The Gigan Miles, as well as 2 others of its kind, looked in the direction where their peer had come flying out of.

What they saw was a wall of smoke, which parted to reveal the new king of monsters, Godzilla Junior. Godzilla roared furiously at the GIgans, and even humans would be able to understand the intent behind this roar.

"Get the hell off of my planet!"

The head of the Gigan Miles roared in defiance and jumped into the air, coming down on Godzilla with a strike that would have vanquished any other foe. But Godzilla was not any other foe. The king of monsters caught the Gigan Miles, and when it tried to stab him with the spike on its tail, he caught it and threw the Gigan Miles to the ground. He then crushed it's head in with one powerful stomp.

He then looked over just in time to notice a Gigan Miles coming down on him with a double slash. The monster king dodged the slash, and the shockwave from it destroyed a nearby apartment building. Godzilla then slashed at the Gigan Miles 2 times, breaking its guard with the first hit and sending it flying back with the second. But before he could follow this attack up, another one flew onto his back, grabbing it and activating its buzzsaw.

While it wasn't powerful enough to pierce Junior's skin, it was enough for the Miles to be able to hold him down long enough for the other remaining one to bang his scythe hands together and fire its forehead beam. Godzilla roared in annoyance and used his father's nuclear pulse technique to send the Gigan Miles on its back flying. Its corpse landed on the ground with a deafening thud, followed by one of its arms, which had been severed by the pulse.

Godzilla then fired his atomic breath at the sole remaining Gigan destroying it. As Godzilla observed his handiwork, he heard a loud explosion behind him. He turned around and saw a creature that looked almost identical to the Gigan Miles, but with Red skin in place of the blue green skin of the Miles, a dark gray stomach with no chest saw, sword like blade hands, and a purple visor. The Gigan known as Gigan Rex.

Gigan Rex, though angered at the fact that his soldier's death was impressed with the power of this organism. It certainly put the divine moth to shame. Gigan Rex then let out a roar of challenge, and he flicked his right arm, his forearm blade turning into a whip. The saws on the whip then began spinning, and Gigan Rex attempted to whip Godzilla, but the attack was deflected.

He then did the same to his other arm, to the same result. Gigan Rex then retracted his arm whips back into blades and opens up his chest, revealing a black orb with 2 purple circles in the middle of it. A yellow beam of energy then fired out of the orb, flooring the young monster king. He then got on all fours, realizing that this enemy was far more powerful than the others.

He fired his atomic breath, but GIgan Rex elegantly dodged it and at the same time engaged his arms whips, slicing at Godzilla and cutting 2 buildings in half in the process. However, the young monster king caught the whips and pulled it towards him. Gigan Rex landed on the ground with a thud, but quickly separated the spike on his tail into 2, stabbing it into the ground and righting itself.

However, Gigan Rex was then met with a ferocious tail slap by Godzilla, knocking him away. Godzilla then fired his atomic breath at Gigan Rex, with Gigan Rex getting up and blocking it with his Rex Blades. The Gigan king was actually a little worried. This organic was even more powerful than he expected, and although they seemed equal, it was not about to take that chance.

The gem on its forehead flashed purple, and all of the sudden Godzilla was blasted by 4 light beams, staggering him and causing him to stop firing the atomic breath. Above the 2 kaiju, every remaining Gigan Miles on the planet, which had been called by their master, arrived and hovered overhead. Gigan's Rex's head lamp then flashed purple again, as it let out a roar that when translated, was a single, bone chilling order.

"Destroy."

The golden scales on the Gigan Miles suddenly retracted into their bodies, and their buzzsaws jutted out of their bodies and widened, revealing complex mechanisms. They then began flying at Junior, his atomic breath, bouncing off of one of their extended sawblades. The Gigan Miles then began peppering Godzilla with aerial attacks, ranging from cutting him with their blades to blasting him with their forehead beams.

4 of them piled onto him, shredding him with their buzzsaws. As Junior struggled, he realized he would need that power. A power that had been granted to him by his father's meltdown, which he had spent several years learning how to tap into at will during his isolation. Godzilla Junior thought to himself,

'Father…lend me strength.'

His chest began to flash with a bright white light, him tapping into the excess radiation he had absorbed from his father's meltdown. Finally, after a few seconds, he blasted the Gigans off of him with a nuclear pulse. The transformation was now complete. He had tapped into the same power that killed his father, but unlike him, Junior could control and harness it as his own. His father's final gift to him.

The young monster king then fired a white atomic breath blast at several Gigan Miles, shredding them like tissue paper and causing massive explosions. As the young monster king turned to face Gigan Rex, the cores of the remaining Gigan Miles shot out of them and attached to the extended Rex blades. Gigan Rex was perfectly willing to sacrifice his soldiers if it meant showing this upstart who the strongest was.

The gem in his abdomen glowed purple and then shot out a red beam of light with enough power to destroy the solar system 10 times over. Junior responded with his white atomic breath, and the 2 beams locked in a ferocious struggle. Initially, Gigan Rex's beam was pushing his foe back, Junior poured every last bit of power into the blast, causing a massive explosion.

Once the smoke cleared, Gigan Rex's mangled body fell to the ground with a thud. Godzilla Junior, king of the monsters, roared in victory. The Gigan invasion was over, and the Earth had won.

Author's note: Wow, I actually managed to fill my 5 page quota! But don't worry, this fic isn't over yet! There's still an epilogue I have to cover, so look forward to that!
