Sorry for the wait! Here it is now!
But ain't that a bitch!
I just recently finished Clayman's revenge spin off manga and it seems Guy calls Misora a more dependable servant than Rain and is unwilling to let her go..
If only I'd waited... I could've given Rain to Sivert instead of Misora! To have her betray Guy instead of Misora!
Don't get me wrong, Misora is a cool looking and intimidating Demon, But Rain's cuteness will always have my heart!
Oh well...
Misora is still weaker then Rain so I guess doing that would kind of fuck my style up eh?
Bummer.. anyways enjoy!
Chapter 31, Another Home..
The freezing winds were difficult to overcome. Not even Solar Light could match against these harsh winds and freezing temperatures!
"Ugh.. why did Sivert come all the way out here."
The warlock Lyra complained, hugging herself tightly. Even if she was an Enlightened. It was still cold! Meaning this land and it's weather are abnormal, produced by something stronger than her and the other's.
She, Lethaea, Aurora, Evander, and several others came after Aria told them her location.
Panicking as she did.
"SIVERT'S GONE! SIVERT'S GONE HELP! PLEASE!"
The comms were filled with her begging and of course. The Tower was put on high alert..
Only a few came over here while other guardians searched the rest of the Throne World, not leaving a single stone unturned.
"So he just opened a portal and left huh.. Didn't say anything?" Lethaea asked Aria.
"Yes."
Her tone was quiet and it was easy to tell she was sad. Unable to handle the disappearance of Sivert.
"Doesn't sound like Sivert.." Lyra whispered.
All of this made no sense. Him just flat out disappearing, usually when he does that he leaves someone to tell the other's where he's gone..
"How long have we been out here?" A freezing warlock asked the group.
It was super cold!
"I'm not sure, it's hard to tell in this environment." Nimerah responded, looking up at the dark sky..
It's been like that the entire time they've been here.
"Have you tried tracking him?"
"That is impossible as we do not know where he had departed to nor has he left any trace of himself."
Rhaegar was the one to answer that, with an irritated expression. He did not like knowing, he hates not knowing what's going on, even with his master.
Nimerah didn't like this, without Sivert, the Guardians were highly vulnerable. This throne world could fall any second if he's dead or some other powerful being could find them and wipe them out.
"Aria?"
"Yes?"
The ghost was silent most of the time, resting on Lyra's shoulder and silently crying.
"Are you still connected with him?"
"Yes.. but… He feels so.. far away. So unreachable…"
The ghost wanted to cry tears but was incapable.. Sivert left her, that's what it felt like..
She was always with him..
Everywhere..
But now that he's gone and the fact that she doesn't even know where he is fills her with a big sense of loneliness..
She wanted to be in his embrace again, to hear him say 'I love you' back to her. It's already felt too long for her.
Nimerah sighed, well that doesn't help much, in fact it complicates things! Just how far was he!? Across the stars?! This gave her a huge headache, she's supposed to be sending Guardians to Tempest to help protect it.
Then Sivert pulls this shit. How does she respond?
They don't have the numbers to be focusing on both situations at once..
She turned around and looked at the Pyramid Ship in the distance.
"Have those… ships reacted to his disappearance?" she asked the Demon Peer Misora.
"No. They are still active and are remaining where they were placed."
Damnit..
Nimerah was hoping that they'd have a lead. They are mysterious after all and are connected to him.
"Ugh!"
Aria let out a sudden groan, catching everyone's attention.
They noticed her light forming around her shell like it was reacting to something, it engulfed her like a second shell.
"Is something wrong?"
"My… my Light! Oh! I can feel Sivert! He's.. I can feel all of his Light!" She shouted with excitement.
She was no longer depressed after feeling this, this light. It was warm and strong. She's never felt Light so… pure!
"It's so strong! So warm! I- Not even the Traveler came close to this!"
Her words surprised the Lightbearer's and they definitely had to be true if it came a from ghost!
Misora listened closely, she looked up after she caught a glimpse of light in the corner of her eyes.
"Look."
Lyra also spotted the light as well, pointing up to it.
In the sky sat a gold light and within seconds Sivert suddenly appeared from it.
And remade..
"Sivert!" Aria called his name, excited to see her Guardian in good condition!
He did not respond.
Suddenly a gigantic wave of black and golden aura exploded from him. Pushing back everyone and creating paracausal flora in the cold wasteland, even forming on the Pyramid Ship.
It replaced the wicked purple aura he once had before, the aura that showed the abomination he was under the human skin.
This Aura was capable of annihilating worlds if used too, this was True Dragon Haki…
Had Aria not gain a new shell prior to her resurrection. She would've been scorched.
This amount of aura forced Evander to use his Light and create a Ward of Dawn to prevent anyone and their ghost's from being incinerated.
Everyone except Aria, Rhaegar and Misora entered.
Even so, the Titan was struggling to keep his ward of dawn up. It felt good to have to use this much strength after a while but it was already wearing him down!
Misora was capturing a sight she'd never forget. She could sense his magicules growing.
Not even Rhaegar had any words for this.
The amount of magicules contained within him was not only comparable to a True Dragons.
It largely surpassed it.
His golden eyes were large and beautiful as if they could see through everything. His black hair grew longer and was comparable to the dark night sky. His face was beautiful.
However, the divine presence that he gave off was sublimely transformed into beauty. His dazzling white skin was cloaked in his black and gold aura.
Soon the aura that covered his body transformed into divine jet black full body garments.
Misora recognized the technique.
'Material Creation.'
A specialty of the demons and other Spiritual Lifeforms, Sivert was capable of using it but was never able to master it to the point where he could create reliable armor with it. With Material Creation, he had materialized the garments.
Even the magicules leaking from his body were used, there was no telling how strong that armor was.
His garments consisted of black pants, a black long sleeved shirt accented with white boots and white stripes respectively. He had two golden vambraces on both his arms and golden ornaments at the top of his sleeves along with a golden collar piece around his neck.
His outfit finished up with jet black fingerless gloves that attached to the shirt and a black waist cloak that covered most of his rear and down to his ankles.
Hanging off his waist cloak with a black strap attacked to his belt was a sheathed katana with a black and gold hilt.
A powerful and mighty weapon exposed to Sivert's magicules for many years, and the magicules of one other…
It has a jet black blade with golden engravings of that of a howling wolf. The handle of the sword is black and gold as well.
Finally, the Katana has a small golden wolf head pommel.
Sivert's long black hair was tied into a low slightly thin pony tail that reached down to his waist and was kept that way with a thin golden ponytail cuff. The grey hair lock he once had was gone and any sort of resemblance of his old self was gone as well.
He had grown notably taller as well, matching the height of Guy Crimson though no one but Aria and Misora noticed that.
Sivert perfectly suppressed his excess energy in an instant and he grinned in satisfaction.
He crossed his arms and closed his eyes.
He felt better.
He felt alive, unlike the abomination he was before. It felt like being able to properly breathe again, to feel fresh air flow through your lungs. A relaxing feeling he dearly cherishes.
His two elemental's were gone as well, merged with him at the will of Veldanava.
Sivert is both holy and demonic, Demons and Angels are nothing but fodder to him now due to his new attributes which were Space along with Light and Dark thanks to his two elementals who's forms were merged with him and no more..
They were still alive, just reborn in different forms though not with him as Sivert wanted them to help a new Hero rise should one capable ever arrive.
His new attributes also meant he had an advantage again a particular enemy.
Having a large advantage against Guy Crimson made Sivert feel at ease. Though he still believed it was not the right time to reveal his survival.
The Lightbearer's looked up at him..
He's..
So..
Divine!
There was no doubting it.. he was the one and the only one capable of leading and uniting them.
No one else…
No one else was worthy.
"Haa…"
It was so beautiful, a sight no one would forget.
Nimerah dropped her staff and slowly got down and prostrated as if she was worshipping a god, ignoring the coldness of the ground and her pride as the Commander of the Vanguard.
Soon everyone followed in suit..
How could they not?
His Divine Presence mixed in with his Light was so beautiful and powerful, even their ghosts lowered themselves as if they were bowing.
Truly the presence of a God!
Rhaegar kneeled along with Misora.
Sivert opened his eyes and hovered down onto the ground. Holding out his right hand to summon a powerful and mystical golden spear that was an inch taller than him.
It gave off an aura of power and authority and radiated pure Light.
"Sivert!"
Aria flew towards him and he gently caught his ghost in an embrace with his left arm. She may have a powerful shell but he can still crush her with ease if he's not careful.
He hasn't seen her in forever….
His embrace was tight and long but Aria ignored it as she has been craving this for so long.
He was so warm!
"Where did you go?"
She asked once Sivert released her.
"I went to check on something. That's all."
Aria stared at him for a moment before quietly replying, "Even when your so.. new. You still can't fool me."
Damnit..
Well he tried. He promised Veldanava to not reveal anything that happened..
Aria knows he went somewhere, she could read her Guardian so easily.
"But if you don't want to tell me then that's fine! I'm just so glad! Your Light! It feels so nice and pure! You feel pure! I don't know what you did but I don't care! I love this new you!" she declared, making Sivert smile softly at her.
That was so relieving to hear.
He's missed Aria so much..
His time in that place with Veldanava was long and eventful.
Sivert wasn't just mastering his abilities and training but he was also Veldanava's test subject in a way.
The True Dragon experimented with him as he fixed Sivert's problem that Sivert himself didn't even know he had.
Recreating his entire body and eventually creating a new race after making Sivert go through a subsequent reincarnation.
It wasn't given a proper name so Veldanava just called Sivert a Paracausal.
Similar to True Dragons but it's just a personal race for Sivert.
Of course if he ever had Children then that'd be a different story.
Veldanava made sure he was still capable of doing everything he was before, eating, sleeping though not needed. Even being able to keep his manhood!
It was a very embarrassing request for Sivert but he was not going to leave his son! So, thankfully Sivert is still capable of having intercourse with the two women he treasures the most!
His time with Veldanava, while eventful and interesting also had some annoying moments.
Like how Veldanava kept bragging about his dead wife and her beauty.
This went on for hundreds of years…
Another reason why Sivert was so glad to be back. He doesn't have to listen to Veldanava anymore.
As for what he's doing, well he went back in his dormant state, watching his world in silence and secret.
Sivert walked over towards Misora and Rhaegar.
"Good to see you again Misora and you Rhaegar." He greeted the two like he hasn't seen them for a long time.
Though Rhaegar swears it's only been a couple of days.
"My Lord. Your transformation was unexpected but not unwelcomed. You look more beautiful than ever. As with your new weapons. Truly weapons belonging to a King." Misora complimented as she stood up along with Rhaegar.
"Thank you."
Sivert walked past the two and they watched him walk over to the prostrating Guardians. They grew tense as this God approached them, even their ghost were shaking just from being so close to him.
They were doing their best to show their submission before their leader.
"Stop that. Stand up, all of you."
He ordered, which they quickly obeyed.
Sivert watched them stand tall like robots.
"We are glad to see you again Sivert." Lyra spoke first, though still remaining in position.
Sivert looked at his lover.
Examining her.
God he missed her, and Lethaea who was staring at him without fear.
"Well I'm glad to see you to but stop acting like soldiers."
There was no response.
"Now!" he yelled and they quickly obeyed, returning to their normal postures to not incur his divine wrath.
"Sorry if I worried you guys. I just needed to fix a problem. Nothing happened when I was gone right?"
"No…" Nimerah replied in a nervous tone.
Sivert didn't show it but he was relieved knowing he didn't miss out on anything that would need his attention.
But Nimerah's tone bothered him.
"Did something happen?" He asked again, staring at the warlock.
"No! Sorry if.. I sound suspicious in a way it's just.." Nimerah looked away from Sivert.
There was a hint of red on her cheeks and she was unable to put the proper and mature words together for why she was acting like this.
"Go on. Speak up." Sivert encouraged.
"You've.. gotten beautiful Sivert. The long hair suits you and you look… so fucking hot and sexy." Lethaea answered for the blushing warlock while staring at him.
It was way better than his old look and the Hunter was using all her strength to resist pouncing on him and doing the deed right here in front of everyone.
Sivert grinned, Veldanava really didn't hold back. The True Dragon did alter his appearance a little but Sivert didn't think it'd make seem beautiful to the point Nimerah was blushing just by looking at him.
"Well.. thank you Lethaea and.. Nimerah.."
Seeing Nimerah in that state made Sivert laugh mentally..
Sadly..
Unlike before, he's lost most of his lewd mindset. Had he not, well he would've been so happy!
An Elf blushing at his presence!
But Sivert has matured much more….
He still harbors some of the old personality but he's just more calm about it.
"Forgive me.. Sir but I must return to the Tower. We are unsure of how long we've been here."
"What?"
Those words worried Sivert.
"Do not worry. It's only been two days."
The whole group of Lightbearer's looked at Rhaegar who answered casually.
Their eyes turned hostile.
"You've known that the whole time?" Nimerah asked, angered by the revelation.
"Yes and what of it?" He coldly replied. Not taking kindly to their hostile gazes.
Nimerah wanted to fire a Nuclear Spell at him so bad but sadly Rhaegar exceeds her by a million when it comes to knowledge of magic.
So he would've just fired one back and it'd would've been so much stronger and kill her instantly.
"Well then I must depart immediately."
The warlock backed up a few steps with the other Lightbearer's joining her except Lyra and Lethaea.
She tapped her staff onto the ground and used spatial magic to teleport herself and her subordinates back to the Tower.
The Hunter clasped both his hands together and turned around to look at his two servants.
"Now, I know you two are still confused but I just went on a trip. That's all. Rhaegar, may you go back assist Evander with the project until I call on you?"
The High Elf simply nodded in response and vanished as Sivert turned to Misora.
"Misora. The palace is done right?"
The Demon Peer became flustered immediately as she heard that.
"You know about it?"
"Of course. Your building it in my Throne World. It was obvious to sense the large amount of demons gathered there to build it."
Misora blushed and looked away. Well there goes the surprise…
"Yes it is complete my Lord."
Her response satisfied Sivert and he unclasped his hands.
"Great. I'd like a tour soon. But first I need to see Rimuru."
It may have been two days but anything could've happened.
"Understood." Misora soon vanished and Sivert placed both his hands on his hips, looking back at Lyra and Lethaea.
"Palace?"
"Mm.. she wants to make me one was a gift."
"You already have a mega mansion!"
Lyra reminded with shock. He had no need for a Palace other than to show off his wealth and power.
"I know.. now… both of you. Come here."
Sivert requested, holding out both his hands. Though it looked like a request, both women knew it was an order.
One they swiftly obeyed, they entered his embrace, allowing him to hug them both.
Wasting no more time, Sivert helped himself to kissing Lyra lovingly. The warlock happily allowed him too, receiving affection by the man she loves is always welcome.
When they finished Sivert moved on to Lethaea, a more rough and lustful kiss..
"Easy girl…"
"Mmngh."
The Huntress could not hold back her lust while Sivert can easily suppress his.
"When…" she bit his lip and asked.
He responded by grabbing her chin and staring into her eyes.
"Soon. For now go back home, both you."
"Don't keep us waiting then."
Both women craved love and Sivert knew he had to deliver it soon or they'd go crazy.
With goodbye kisses given to each other, the two women were sent off, leaving Sivert with Aria.
It was time to go check on Tempest.
Thankfully, when Sivert returned to the Tempest everything was fine.
Well not really, there was still Demon Lords to deal with and..
Right.
Sivert forgot about him…
Diablo.
Even after accepting it he still couldn't help but feel uneasy. Why was the Primordial Black here!? The most whimsical person to exist according to Guy was standing right here, next to Rimuru like a loyal dog…
It bugged the hell out of Sivert.
Sivert was in Rimuru's office and the slime explained everything that happened the past two days while secretly admiring Sivert's new look.
He looked so cool!
"Rimuru!"
The doors to Rimuru's office were slammed open and stormed in a two meter tall man with blonde hair and golden eyes. He didn't wear a shirt, only a long dark brown cape with a red interior along with dark brown pants and white boots..
What…
Sivert wasn't sure if he was seeing things when he was looking at this guy.
This familiar aura….
"Veldora! What did I say about slamming open my doors?" Rimuru shouted at him, pointed at the door on the right that soon fell onto the ground. Unable to handle the mighty strength of the Storm Dragon.
"Vel..dora?"
Sivert whispered right as the man stormed past him and towards Rimuru's desk.
"The new volume!"
"Yes! Yes! I know hold on. I'd like to introduce you my friend Sivert first." Rimuru halted the Storm Dragon.
Veldora turned around and looked at Sivert with curiosity.
The two stared into each other's eyes for a brief moment.
"Ho… the Hunter? The one who tried to defeat my bosom buddy but was defeated!"
Sivert did not respond, only staring as Veldora walked to his side and wrapped his right arm around his neck.
"I hope to battle you one day and those Lightbearer's! For now! You shall tremble at my presence! Kuahahahaha!" he laughed loudly as Sivert was still silent.
What…
In the hell?
Veldora.. the rampaging Storm Dragon as told in the books Sivert read was like this? Even though Sivert's been told by Velzard many times that Veldora was a child.
He thought she was just messing around.
He's so much more different then his older sister and by the looks of it..
He was also less skilled.
The way he was keeping his aura contained made it obvious he hasn't mastered such a technique.
Sivert pushed the worrying thoughts out of his head and smiled softly. He was like a second Milim, just weaker! Meaning if he does go on a rampage, he'll be easy to subdue.
"Sure.. just know when we do fight I won't hold back." He responded.
"I love your spirit! Neither shall I! I've lost to one Hero before! I will not make the same mistake again!"
This guy…
He was amusing, reminding Sivert of some of Shaxx's Titans. Veldora would make a lovely Titan, but even if he isn't one. He'll surely get along with them.
Sivert wrapped his left arm around Veldora's neck and Rimuru watched the two quickly get along, Veldora boasting about the techniques he learned from the 'sacred texts.' While Sivert silently listened to it all.
Eventually replying with scary words for Rimuru's ears.
"I'd love to send a fireteam to attack you." Sivert told the Storm Dragon. Veldora would be good practice for the Guardians.
He could just imagine it perfectly! Fireteams dispatched to destroy the evil Storm Dragon!
Hahaha!
"Haha! Send them! Send all of your so called Guardians! I shall show them defeat!"
Immortal warriors?! Veldora couldn't have asked for greater challengers! He will crush them all!
"Maybe one day. If you sent them now then you'd destroy the forest." Rimuru slid into the conversation to prevent his fears from coming true.
While disappointed, Veldora agreed. Rimuru handed him a few manga copies before the Storm Dragon stormed out to read them.
"I knew you were involved with his disappearance but I didn't think you tamed him." Sivert whispered to the slime.
"I didn't tame him. He's just a good friend that's full of trouble. So did you get a full understanding of what I said earlier?"
It looked like he was just staring at Diablo during the whole explanation.
"Clayman calling for a Walpurgis after your declaration? And you getting ready to go with Ramiris's help. Also you're getting involved with Sarion thanks to Eren's father. Uh.. and Clayman's army led by his middle finger Yamza is trying to eliminate those left back in Eurazania. Yeah I listened."
That was good to hear.
"Also. When I came here before meeting with you Rance told me your preparing your army to clash with Clayman's?"
"Yup! That fireteam has been of good help to. They were preparing everyone who's participating with sparring matches."
Sivert couldn't help but chuckle after hearing that. He bets they're giving everyone a run for their money.
"Well the Lightbearer's are ready to help. When your army departs they'll be here to defend the place."
That's a relief! That meant Tempest was in good hands.
"I'm a little sad though. You had all these meetings without me. Your even going to Walpurgis without me! Your Guardian!" Sivert suddenly complained.
Well he wasn't sad about going to Walpurgis, he didn't plan on going and would've declined had Rimuru wanted to take him.
But he missed out on all the good food that would've been served during those meetings! He just wanted to be dramatic!
"Hey! You weren't seen for a few days! Don't blame me." Rimuru was quick to defend himself.
"I'm just kidding. Your taking Shion and Ranga with you right?"
"Yup."
Sivert looked back at Diablo, "Not.. Diablo?" Sivert had to admit, that was a cool name for a Demon but had he been Rimuru.
He would've taken his second powerhouse after Veldora to a meeting with some of the most powerful people on this world.
"I'm having Diablo make sure Youm becomes the new King of Falmuth."
Oh right.. Sivert forgot about that. He hasn't talked to Youm that much and hell he didn't even seem suited for the King role but if Rimuru wanted to do it then he had no problem with it.
"Alright."
Sivert looked back down at Rimuru. "By the way. If you really want the Lycanthropes and your army to be prepared. Then we have the right man. He's already here I think, I heard him shouting earlier. I'll leave it to you to introduce him to everyone."
Rimuru crossed his arms and tilted his head. "Why can't you do it?"
"I want to talk with your butler and then I have to leave again to work on something. Here, if you need me then you can contact me when I'm in my Throne World with this."
Sivert tossed Rimuru a black and golden bracelet, he caught it and immediately put it on.
"Well.. just don't scare him or anything. See ya later." Rimuru told him before the two fist bumped.
Rimuru soon walked out and closed the doors.
Sivert stared at Diablo who stared back, resisting Sivert's powerful gaze that could destroy a normal demon.
"What are you doing here Primordial?"
"Ho? You must be very intelligent to recognize me."
Even when keeping his aura contained, Sivert saw through him with ease. Diablo was impressed.
"Worry not Hero Sivert. I have only come to serve under our great master! He is so magnificent!"
Sivert stared into his demonic eyes..
They flashed a similar feeling, one Sivert gets from Misora and his other demons.
Those truly loyal..
It was hard to believe but it was no lie.
Sivert sighed in disbelief before replying, "Well then. Just don't cause problems for him."
"Nonsense. I'll serve Lord Rimuru with perfection!"
Oh yeah..
Just like Misora.
"I hope so. I also hope to get along. I've run into a few of you and I did not get along with them so great."
"As do I. I have heard much about you and your 'Lightbearer's.' who wield foreign powers. I hope to learn more."
Sivert simply nodded in response and Diablo swiftly departed after gracefully bowing.
"First Veldora now a Primordial Demon."
Rimuru didn't even need Sivert anymore! Not when he has those two powerful allies!
"It'll draw a lot of attention but I'm not too worried."
This is what Sivert secretly hoped for.
For Rimuru to gain power so when Sivert finally reveals himself to be alive. He'll be able to stand by his side and Guy will be able to do nothing but become paranoid at what Sivert will do next!
Rimuru walked down towards the training grounds where a ton of commotion was at, driven by his curiosity, he went to check it out.
When Rimuru arrived there.
He spotted him..
The one the Guardians sent to train the forces of Tempest and the Beast Kingdom Eurazania.
One step shattered everything. One swing of his fist demolished everything.
Wounding many!
His raging Arc Light sparked around him.
Those who dared to challenge this large Titan were obliterated without exception.
Fatally wounded yet they were healed and soon joined back to face him.
Standing over two meters tall, he wore a white and orange helmet covering his entire face. With one horn remaining and the other broken.
One didn't need to see inside the armor to understand his extraordinary build.
The ground shook with each step, and even the rocks were crushed beneath his feet.
He was effortlessly wearing heavy Legend Grade armor that would have crushed an ordinary person.
Sparks of Arc Light danced around him with each stride. Injured and unconscious warriors laid around him.
"No way.." Rimuru whispered in disbelief! He was here to?!
Rimuru recognized this Titan thanks to Sivert's memories and all the stories the Guardians told about him.
Lord Shaxx.
Rimuru couldn't help but gulp as he watched the mighty Titan destroy many other challengers. Making many fear him.
However despite their fear and losses, Shaxx surprised them all when he gave advice and encouraged them to keep going. Showing he was more than just a mighty brute.
He encouraged them to ignore their pain and show that they would not back down against a coward such as Clayman.
"You are Lycanthropes belonging to the mighty Demon Lord Carrion are you not! Then show me your fangs!" He yelled with a rallying tone.
His loud encouraging tone was enough to hype them up! And they were quick to join back in the fight.
"Oh boy…" Rimuru was still nervous.
This guy was a beast!
He'd probably be a good playmate for Veldora. That thought scared Rimuru though..
If those two fought… this whole forest would turn into a wasteland!
Rimuru's eyes widened as he watched The three Beastketeers Albis, Suphia and Phobio walk up and challenge the Titan!
The battle commenced.
"AGHHH!"
The combined injured groans of the three Lycanthropes echoed throughout the training field.
A large gust of wind blew against Rimuru, pushing him back just slightly.
He looked back at the training field to the find the Beastketeers close to death.
One punch..
That was all it took from the mighty Lord Shaxx to wound them instantly. From Raphael's explanation, Shaxx only punched Suphia in the face.
However his Arc Light that engulfed the Lycanthrope instantly sparked towards the other two Beastketeers who were close, affecting them as well with the mighty force of his fist.
A shared attack..
Rimuru gulped once more..
Not even the three Beastketeers were a match for the mighty Lord Shaxx..
Despite their quick defeat. They were quick to get back up and fight him!
A worthy opponent for Demon Lord Carrion's best warriors to sharpen their fangs!
Rimuru took a deep breath and swiftly turned around, quickly walking away.
"I'm not getting involved." He muttered.
Nope..
He did not want to get involved at all!
Besides, Shaxx seems to know his opponents aren't guardians. He's holding back perfectly.
So he did not need to!
But to be safe.. he made sure to inform Benimaru and the other executives of the Titan's presence so they don't get caught off guard by it.
Maybe he and the others might have a chance?
Who knows.
All Rimuru knows is that he does want to be near the mighty Titan while he's kicking ass.
Ice Continent
Someone is stroking casually on the hallway of the castle.
The person had long blonde hair, below which his long and narrow blue eyes as well as his handsome appearance display a heavenly sight.
Those plus his smooth, white tender skin. This is a handsome man with an incredibly beautiful appearance that would make other's question his gender.
He is Demon Lord Leon Cromwell, the so called 'Platinum Saber'.
He was walking through the palace as if he owned the place. He stops in front of a giant door, this door leads to the main hall where the ruler of the castle awaits.
Leon came here at the request of fellow Demon Lord Guy Crimson.
He stood before the giant door and waited for the two giant demons to come forth and open it for him.
Afterward.
"Demon Lord Leon Cromwell has arrived."
A beautiful familiar demon with long green hair and eyes announced. She wore a red maid outfit just like her fellow demon who stood next to her. Also a beautiful demon only she had blue hair and eyes.
Misery and Rain.
The two demons turned around and led Leon down the central path before them.
However, Leon noticed something odd.
When walking down the path and looking at the two rows of Greater Demons on both his left and right, he noticed fewer numbers then last time he was here.
Again, something odd he noticed.
Two Arch Demons were missing when there was six last time.
Greater Demon Generals that were crucial to keeping the large amount of Greater Demons in check and training them.
Leon continued down the path before stopping in front of the Throne where Guy sat.
"Long time no see, my friend Leon. How have you been? I'm glad you responded to my invitation. I should thank you for that."
Guy's voice was a wonderful alluring voice.
He stands up from his high throne and moves down to Leon's face. His hands gradually wrapped around Leon's chest and he hugs him close tightly.
His hands continue to move and fondle along Leon's face, and without hesitation, kisses him.
Leon's face frowns with disgust and pushes Guy away.
"Stop it. I'm not interested in men. Haven't I told you that already?"
He said, staring at Guy angrily.
"Ahahaha. You are such a cold man as always. But if that's what you want, I'm fine with being a women."
Leon did not respond, only glaring at the Demon.
Guy licked his lips, "Fine. Let's put that aside and talk somewhere else."
The Demon Lord turned around and walked out of the room. Leon naturally follows behind him.
Before the two could exit the hall, no one present dares to make a single noise.
Since that is not permitted.
Everyone bows their heads low and await quietly for their master and the guest to leave.
After confirming Leon has left, Misery and Rain raise up.
"Dismiss."
They ordered and the demons quickly obeyed.
Rain and Misery thus leave to prepare beverages for both their master and guest.
Leon followed Guy to the top of the Frost Balcony. Although the location is opened to the outside, not a single flake of snow is allowed to enter.
It has been made into a comfortable space after accommodation.
Guy isn't affected by the environment at all. However, the air-conditioning mechanism is specially made for Leon.
As it was for one other a few years ago….
Guy is arrogant and prideful, but he's very caring towards those he recognizes and his friends.
The two made their way to an icy table with two icy chairs. Though when Leon sat on his chair, there was no sense of chillness.
Leon's eyes fixed a quick glance of outside..
Another thing that was odd.
Though it was still freezing cold, the one who's aura created this environment was not here..
He could not sense her…
"So why did you call me here?"
But.. he would ask later. First he wanted to know why Guy called him here.
"Hmm. As you can see, Walpurgis is about to start. But I mean to take you there even by force this time."
"Ho? Forcing me to participate? That's unusual."
"Yeah! Consider doing me a favor, but I'm getting you to attend regardless."
"And why is that?"
Guy smiled joyfully and begun to explain.
"The one proposing the meeting this time is Clayman, the small fry, no one really special. But the strange thing is Milim was listed as the seconder. As you know, Milim is one of the most ancient Demon Lord's like me. How could she be playing along some scum like Clayman? It can only mean-"
"There's something strange about Carrion's death. Is that what your trying to get at?"
"Eh? So you do know about it."
Due to his guess, Guy's mood seem to have gotten worse as he wasn't a fan of being guessed what he's trying to say.
However Leon did not care and continues with his words.
"Clayman really went above the line this time. He's always been causing trouble for me without leaving any trace, but this time I can't just sit and take it. Apart from the whereabouts of Carrion, it'll be trouble if Milim moves out."
Hearing this, Guy nods happily.
"Hmm, that's exactly my thought. It may be a game to Milim just like before, but if the balance among Demon Lords are to be broken, it won't be child's play anymore. It'll be more work for me!"
Guy was quick to regain his good mood.
Followed by Leon who asks the most pressing question.
"By the way, Guy. Do you think Milim is being manipulated by Clayman?"
The question was asked but Guy's response shows his lack of care towards the issue.
"It won't matter much to worry over Milim's business. Smart people like me will never understand what an idiot is thinking. That is one of my few weaknesses."
He shrugs as he finishes, throwing Leon a smile.
"Look how concerned you look now. Leon, does this mean you are interested in taking part in Walpurgis, right?"
Leon ignored the comment but replied to his question, "Indeed. Hopefully Milim does not go on a rampage.."
Guy laughed at the thought and Leon continued on.
"I on the other hand cannot handle the other ancient Demon Lord, just how many times I wanted to strangle her to death."
"You mean Ramiris? Ahaha, Don't be like that!"
Guy suddenly fixed Leon a glare.
"If you kill Ramiris, You'll become my enemy."
Leon sighed, "I suppose so, my words held no intent."
Guy's glare was gone.
"What? How boring. I really wanted to fight you."
"I refuse. I do not intend to fight a losing battle. If anyone could put up a fight against you then it would only be Milim or.. someone like the Storm Dragon Veldora."
Guy noticed a little bit of nervousness in Leon's tone. Which was a big surprise considering his personality, but it also meant he noticed it….
"So you noticed it."
"I have. Where has the older sister gone?" He asked with a little worry.
She was not here.. Leon was sure of it, and there was no other place in the world for her to be then here.
Guy sighed, he wasn't looking forward to this change of topic but he would go along with it anyways.
"You remember my old messages sent to you, right?"
"About the Hero Sivert? Yes. You have boasted about his strength and soul. Though very annoying, what does he have to do with any of this."
"Well…"
Guy tried to put the words together as he placed his right leg above his left leg.
"Velzard and Sivert have developed sort of a romantic relationship. It was very cute! But since I…"
"Betrayed and sent him to some dimension to die she despises you."
Leon was quick to figure it out. After all, Guy did tell him..
"Yup! But it was also her fault. She could've stopped it but decided not to. However she left about four years ago and I have been unable to track her down nor feel her aura. She's hiding.."
"You've created another enemy and if she-"
"Relax."
Guy tried to calm him down.
"She won't go for you but if she does then I'll come over and help. I don't know what she's planning, especially since she left shortly after one of my demons called me out for my actions."
Those words surprised Leon greatly and Guy continued on to satisfy Leon's new curiosity.
"Misora, one of Rain's Arch Demons. She called me out about it. Calling it cowardly and I don't blame her for doing so. I still ripped her apart but she managed to escape before I could destroy her soul."
Leon's brows furrowed. "One of your loyal demons would do such a thing?"
"Well Misora has developed a good and friendly relationship with Sivert. So I wasn't surprised about it."
"That still doesn't make sense. Why would one of your most loyal followers betray you if Sivert is dead?"
Leon was really pressing the topic but now Guy was curious, even cursing himself for not seeing that.
"You think Sivert is alive?"
"I see no other explanation. This Misora would have nothing to gain from betraying you if she didn't see the possibility."
Guy leaned back against his chair, lifting his right hand to caress his chin.
"You might be right because recently a bunch of my demons have gone missing, mostly the ones playing in the Western coast. And one of my Arch Demons that I sent to finish Misora off hasn't returned."
Guy added on.
"But there's no way. He's strong yeah and resilient but in that place.. there's worse than him.."
With the people in that place, not even Sivert would last. Plus, even if he did! There'd wouldn't be a way back.
"Even so, if he survives, he's another enemy to worry about." Leon said as he noticed Rain and Misery showing emotions.
Surprised and curious..
There was no denying it. Misora's betrayal and the disappearance of several demons confirmed this possibility but even so. Guy was extremely confident that he did not survive.
"Meh. Doubt it, even if he did. I'll just deal with him."
"You've lost to him before though haven't you?"
"Only once, but I haven't used all of my special tricks on him, so that's why I'm not worried." Guy said as he flashed a confident smile.
Leon only sighed.
"Sivert must've had a large effect on you and Velzard. In fact, by the looks of it. He had an effect on this entire place." Leon said, staring at Rain and Misery who were still showing their emotions.
Guy turned around and they panicked, resuming to their old emotionless faces.
But he saw their faces before they changed.
"Hm.. well those two are useless… so I wouldn't care much if they tried to betray me." Guy revealed his lack of care and turned back to Leon.
"You know they lost to him when he first became a Saint?"
"What?"
Leon couldn't believe those words! Two Primordial Demons losing to a newborn Saint?!
"Yeah! He defeated and killed their bodies. The only reason I took them back in is because they showed me something truly interesting!"
Guy doesn't tolerate failure… it's been proven in the past many times.
"If those two do betray you. Then that'd mean more power for Sivert." Leon warned.
"We'd never do such a thing!" Rain suddenly shouted..
The room went silent and the Demon Peer just realized what she'd done. Fear was all that was shown on her face..
She had spoken without permission…
Misery knew she was screwed but didn't show any expression for her fellow demon peer.
In fear of dying herself…
"Well… guess you were right. Sivert did have a big effect on us." Guy told his fellow Demon Lord while chuckling.
Rain waited to die for speaking but Guy made no movements..
She may be useless but he'll keep her for a little longer before deciding to punish her.
The Primordial quickly got back in position and stood tall. Killing all emotions she had.
All while Leon returned to the original topic with Guy.
She sat elegantly in the black chair, with one leg over the other. Her arms were crossed and her golden eyes stared at the man on the opposite side of the table.
"Smells in here, most of it is coming from the room. You had sex last night didn't you?" Sierra asked with a grin.
Sivert sat down and shrugged, "Yeah.."
He thought he got rid of the stench and stains but it seems Sierra could notice some smell.
"Hah. On this desk or the couch? Or against the window."
"Everywhere…" he answered honestly.
Last night was crazy, they didn't even stay on the bed..
Lyra and Lethaea wanted to try all sorts of positions..
"Ooo.. Lethaea is a feisty one."
Sivert only nodded in response.
"Now, what did you call me here for? I was relaxing on Lyra's private island you gave her in your throne world."
"I can see that…"
Sierra still wore her black bikini, revealing her sexy awoken body. She didn't bother changing since they weren't going anywhere public.
"Your staring quite.. intensely. You want to take me for a spin?"
Sierra placed her left leg that rested on her right back on the floor, slowly spreading her legs slightly.
Inviting the hunter….
Sivert resisted the temptation of taking this awoken beauty as his new woman, he just had sex with his two lovers not long ago and while he could go again his priority is on work.
"When I saw you, it confirmed a theory I had, a theory that's been bugging me."
"Hm…?"
Sierra titled her head cutely in confusion.
"There are more guardians in this world, but not all of them have good intentions. You killed for money along with your companions, but I'm sure there's other's out there doing worse…"
And Sivert was too busy to try and find them.
"Let me guess. You want me to find them and kill them?"
"Yes but something else. There might be stronger Guardians then you, therefor. I want you to create a fireteam of Guardian Killers."
"Ho..?"
To think someone nice and friendly like Sivert would say something like that.
"Inquisitors you could call yourselves. I want you to find any Guardians abusing the light for their own lust and greed. If their actions are harming people you bring them to the throne world and to a prison I have planned to be constructed. There I will remove their light and imprison them for eternity."
Sivert crossed his arms, "I cannot allow those who wield the same power as us stain our place on this world, I can also pay for each guardian you bring me but! You must bring evidence of their actions as well."
Sierra licked her lips, Sivert was wealthy and also had access to Lethaea's funds, and the awoken hunter had no problem killing or capturing fellow guardians. She's already killed several since arriving here.
Shooting a ghost when It's vulnerable is quite pleasurable to her.
"I don't like working with other's, even more after the last three I worked with completely botched our job, but since your offering to pay I can make an exception. I assume you want this to be a secret too."
"I do."
"Hehe…"
Sierra stood up and leaned against Sivert's desk. "When can I start?"
"As soon as possible, have your ghost send me reports of your progress every week. And as a starting bonus."
Sivert reached under his desk, pulling out a large duffle bag he set it down on his desk in front of Sierra.
The hunter quickly unzipped it, seeing nothing but beauty.
She licked her lips once again.
Sierra zipped the bag back up, "Well, you got a deal. Let me go finish my vacation first though. I've never been to the beach or on a tropical island and it's quite nice."
Sivert smiled softly, "Feel free."
Sierra nodded and grabbed her bag of coins before Sivert sent the Hunter back to his throne world.
He leaned back against his chair with his arms crossed.
"Guardian Killers….."
Sivert will rid this world of those who abuse the light and the immortality it grants.
"Can we go now?" Aria asked him with excitement. "Yes, yes."
She's been wanting to show him the palace ever since he confirmed he knew about it!
"Let's go."
"Now.. you can open your eyes." Aria told him.
Sivert did just that…
"Wha…."
He…
He was baffled by the sight before him.
He knew they were building a palace but this was…. This was just on another level!
It wasn't just the Palace's size that caught him off guard, but the miles of walls surrounding it, with sections going down the beautiful mountain it was built on.
Hehehe..
This was just beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful.
A large beautiful white and golden palace built using enhanced Vex Materials that stood on its own grounds at the edge of a large cliff of a large mountain with a beautiful waterfall falling down under it.
Below the palace and in front of it were several sections of large white walls, with two containing large beautiful ponds and lakes.
There's also large beautiful fields of green grass and small forests.
The white walls spanned for miles across the mountains..
This was…
Otherworldly, not even Sivert could imagine constructing something so big and beautiful..
Despite its beauty, it held heavy defenses..
Similar to those at the Tower, hundreds of large cannons and thousands of anti-air guns..
They were retractable though, hidden and protected all over the palace and the walls.
This place is so.. perfect.. it also radiated Light..
Aria's finishing touches..
The front of the palace and below where the mountains weren't the only heavily defended area's.
The back of the palace was also a monster as well. Heavily defended.
An impenetrable Fortress..
There was smaller buildings on the other Mountains as well, close to the palace.
Containing training grounds for the demons since Aria knows Sivert cared for them and their growth in strength.
Apparently Aria wanted housing built for them as well but they refused. Not needing it.
"It's amazing!" Sivert complimented.
Those visiting the palace as Sivert's guests would walk down a long white and golden pathway situated in between the beautiful gardens to the front of the palace and near the waterfall.
There were four other pathways that connected to the main pathway Sivert was currently walking down with Misora.
Those pathways led to four landing pads, just in case any Lightbearer's who are not capable of Spatial Magic wish to visit via jumpship.
Sivert walked down the pathway, enjoying the beauty of the gardens as he did.
He eventually arrived at the front of the palace where a large gate stood. They slowly opened once Sivert arrived.
Once they opened, Sivert entered with Aria and Misora.
Sivert was quickly entranced by the beautiful, royal like interior with a golden floor.
There was much to explore like his personal library or new vault.
But that could be done later as Sivert wanted to check out the Throne Room and his second office first.
Misora led Sivert down the large luxurious hallway and straight down towards another large set doors, they were white with a golden trim.
They were beautiful..
"Hm.."
Sivert, however, was more focused on the two giant Vex Precursor Minotaur's standing by the doors.
Noticing this, Misora explained.
Ares has begun conquering almost all the Vex timelines, they were powerless to stop it.
Watching as their best warriors were Taken or killed.
So the Taken Axis Mind offered them two choices.
Serve and worship Sivert for eternity, or face extinction.
Seeing no other option for survival, even through numerous calculations and simulations.
The Vex chose the first choice.
Ares pulled back, allowing them to reclaim their timelines which were now devoted to nothing but worshipping Sivert.
Now.. Sivert has Vex under his command which was something he was going to be careful with..
The amount of power Ares seized for him..
That Axis Mind was scary but Sivert was still going to reward him. Maybe.. empower him or something. He hasn't experimented with his Taken yet and plans to do so soon.
The two large Minotaur's recognizing their God pushed opened the doors.
The doors slowly opened revealing the beautiful Throne Room which was all white aside from the golden pathway that led and stopped on a small set of stairs.
In front of the stairs, a few feet away was a white throne with golden trims on it. It was a slightly wide throne that allowed Sivert to relax in different positions if he wanted to.
"Lord Sivert has arrived."
The Demon Peer Squall said, he stood in front of the entrance to the throne room. Wearing a black and golden military uniform.
His appearance didn't change much aside from his clothing since Sivert was fine with his demonic appearance.
Misora led Sivert into the throne room along with Squall where there were several demons inside. All lined up on both sides of the golden pathway.
Most keeping their demonic appearances while some took up human forms. The Arch Demons were lined in front of the Greater Demons.
Ugh..
Now this felt like Guy's palace..
It was cool but Sivert felt like he was copying the Demon Lord now. But.. he'll deal with it later and add his own tastes to it so he could get rid of that feeling.
Sivert followed Misora and Squall towards the Throne which they both stopped in front of. The Demons turned around and stepped aside, presenting the Throne.
"Your rightful place our Lord." They stated in unison while bowing.
Sivert grinned, he could hear Aria's quiet snickering as she floated behind him.
She loved this! All of this! This is was a dream come true for her.
In her eyes! Sivert was always a King! Though she did not envision him ruling over a bunch of Demons, it was still perfect!
Sivert walked up to the Throne and turned around. Slowly sitting down on it, he leaned back and enjoyed it's comfiness.
Misora stood on his left with Squall.
Sivert closed his eyes and begun releasing his aura as he was keeping it suppressed earlier in fear of scorching his land.
But the palace was strong enough to take it in.
The Hunter sat there in silence, enjoying this feeling.
The feeling of a King.
"You've all done well. Thank you for building this home for me but know that it is also your home." Sivert told the demons.
"We thank you our great master!"
They responded in unison.
Damn they were good at that!
Sivert remained on the throne room for some time as Squall and Misora gave him several reports.
Such as Surtr's progress or the growth in power of his army of demons.
Though not rivaling in numbers, Squall is confident Sivert's demons could easily squash Guy's demons if.. Rain and Misery were ever removed from the battlefield someway.
"I am not interested in a prolonged war. I only intend to.. mess with Guy a little." That was Sivert's response to the report.
"If that is what you desire my Lord.." Squall replied and bowed gracefully.
"Now. I presume that since we have an unlimited source of resources?"
"There is an unlimited source my Lord now that the Vex serve you."
"Good! I have plans for that.. I'll send them to you later. Just be ready to gather them."
"Understood."
Squall bowed and departed.
With the reports over, Sivert decided to go check out his new office.
It was at the highest floor of the palace along with his room. When he arrived with Aria and Misora he was looking down a straight hallway.
Straight ahead was his office, possessing glass… doors?!
Now Sivert knows where Aria got the idea of making his office entrance have glass doors.
On the right and a few feet away from the office doors was a set of golden doors which led into Sivert's room.
On the left was another set of golden doors which led to a large luxurious bath and shower depending on what Sivert wanted.
Ha..
Hahaha!
This was beautiful!
So very beautiful!
"Thank you very much Misora." Sivert wrapped his left around her neck, bringing the flustered demon peer in for a hug.
Much to Aria's jealousy but.. she didn't protest. Misora deserves a hug from Sivert.
The demon peer was to flustered to even respond.
She's never been so close to him like this!
Sivert swore he was falling for her, she was so loyal and reliable. He released her and walked straight down towards the office.
He opened the doors gently and took in the new office smell..
It's likes when getting a new home. Sivert's not sure where the smell comes from but he loves it so very much!
His second office was large and reminded Sivert of Commander's Zavala's office a little. Only more fancier and luxurious.
In front of the large glass windows across the room was an all-white half circle desk attached to the floor.
Similar to his desk in his mansion.
It came with a black chair that was attached to the floor but allowed Sivert to turn around if he wishes.
However, despite this, the office was empty. Aside from the white couches in the center with a glass table. It was missing..
His personal touch but of course he could add that another time.
Sivert walked towards his desk and around it before slowly sitting down on his chair.
"Oh?"
He was quick to notice what looked to be a holoprojector device on his desk.
Not only that, his desk had screens that turned on. Similar to those you'd see at the last city.
"It was Lady Aria's addition my Lord. She wanted your palace to have your technology as well."
Well that explains why.
"I'm amazed you managed to figure it all out." he whispered.
Trying to imagine Misora managing to hook up this type of technology was hard.
"Well I learned from Lady Aria. She gave me all the knowledge I needed."
"Really?" Sivert asked his lover who was looking out the window behind him.
"Yeah well I didn't teach her anything. She just looked through all my memories and took all the information she needed. Sharing it with the other demons." Aria explained.
Ah…
So no wonder his palace felt more modern as well.
It has a sci-fi-, fantasy type theme to it.
"You really are something Misora." Sivert whispered as she smiled back in response.
"Thank you my Lord." She happily accepted the praise.
Sivert looked back down at his desk and at the three screens in front of him. It felt like back then where he could read mission details and such.
Only now, he was going to be receiving reports and messages.
He was able send messages back or even broadcast them.
Sivert looked down at the keyboard in front of him. It was futuristic like keyboard that was projected by the monitors.
This felt so amazing!
Sivert leaned back against his chair and relaxed, while this was cool. He was craving something.
"I'm going to take a bath.."
He hasn't taken one in…
He forgot….
Hell he lost count. Veldanava kept him there longer then he said he would.
He still has a hard time believing that's technically how old he is now…
Now that he thinks about it, it's coming close to let someone out now. Someone who's been resting within the hunter for a while..
She opened the door, entering her small room. She closed the door behind her.
Locking it..
Hinata walked towards her bed and turned around, sitting down on it. She reached her right hand in her coat, pulling out the book she found and hid.
It was large..
Hinata turned slightly around, pushing the red covers over the window. Blocking it..
She lit a small candle on her wooden night stand. It was the only light in the room now.
The Saint placed the book on her lap..
Staring at it..
She..
She doesn't know why but when she looks at this book. Her heart races..
As if she was about to look at something she isn't supposed to see.
"This book.."
With a closer examination, Hinata was able to see some magic engravings on it.
Some to protect the book from fire or water.. it's also capable of repairing itself.
She placed the book on her bed and stood up. If she was going to read this big ass book.
She definitely needed to get comfortable.
The Saint removed her white coat and armor.. leaving on her black sweater and pants and gloves.
She also took off her boots.
Hinata sat back down on her bed, crossing her legs. She picked up the book and placed it back on her lap.
"Again…"
This book was giving her a strange feeling..
Perhaps it was the author's name that gave it to her.
Sivert Light…
"Are you really alive?" she whispered..
The man she looked up too.. the man who's footsteps she wanted to follow..
The man she wanted to stand next to.
The Hunter…
The Gunslinger..
Hinata was slowly repeating his many titles given to him in her head.
She shook her head, realizing she got lost in thought.
The Saint took one more deep breath before finally opening the book.
She opened it slowly, awaiting its contents.
"Huh?"
The first page was blank!
She quickly flipped it..
Only for the second page to be blank as well.
Hinata kept flipping pages but kept getting blank pages.
"What?"
Maybe it's one of the magic engravings on it.. hiding the knowledge this book holds?
Or perhaps something else is…
Hinata stopped flipping pages, she was looking at the middle of the book…
Her beautiful cold and calculating violet eyes were focused on the strange.. energy hovering above the two pages..
It was.. greyish?
Hinata had no clue what this energy was but it felt weird..
She reached her left hand closer to the energy.
Touching it..
"Agh!"
She immediately received a sharp sting to her head…
A painful headache, forcing Hinata to pull her hand back.
"Ugh.."
That hurt..
Hinata shook her head, fighting the pain.
Her eyes focused back on the energy..
It didn't hurt her physically but.. mentally.
It rejected her?
No..
She wasn't strong enough, mentally at least.
Hinata's brows furrowed and she touched the energy with her left hand once again. She closed her eyes…
Wincing in pain as she pushed harder..
Fighting the pain and focusing her mind..
"Show me…" She said in her mind..
She wanted to know the secrets this book holds.
The energy dispersed and Hinata was shown the books contents..
It's history..
She saw a city.. surrounded by large walls. In the sky was a small.. moon?
This city.. the walls.
It looks just like how Sivert described his…
Homeworld.
There was a flash and now the skies were darkened, clouded with smoke..
The city was in flames, the wall severely damaged.
There was large red.. space ships in the sky with one large spaceship latched onto the small moon.
"The Cabal launched a surprise attack on us.. we were unprepared for the might of the Red Legion."
A voice she hasn't heard in years spoke to her..
Sivert.
"They suppressed the Traveler's Light.. making Guardians vulnerable and.. mortal."
There was another change in scenery, Hinata was looking at a man on both his knees at the edge and close to falling off a ship.
His helmet was off and in ruins.
It was Sivert!
Standing before him and towering over him was a large humanoid alien in white and red armor.
"I am Ghaul and your Light? Is Mine."
A cold.. deep voice Hinata does not recognize spoke. It was that alien's voice.
He casually pressed his metallic boot against Sivert's face, pushing him off the ship..
"I was near death but my story isn't the only one. The Red War was a major system-wide conflict fought between the Guardians of the Last City and the Cabal Red Legion led by their Dominus.. Ghaul…"
Knowledge…
Knowledge flooded Hinata's mind..
She saw it all..
The deaths..
The victories..
She saw Sivert…
She saw those who wielded his same power..
Hinata shook her head and opened her eyes, pulling herself out from the book..
This book wasn't an ordinary book, It showed the memories of those in this.. Red War..
The stories it holds..
The knowledge.
But the most shocking revelation this book showed was that..
Sivert is immortal and many others like him were as well…
"He's.. immortal.."
Hinata's eyes widened, shining with hope.
"Then he's got to be alive.. as long as that.. ghost of his is.."
Hinata looked down at the book, she only got a glimpse at the knowledge it held.
The knowledge it stored was for the strong minded..
Hinata was lucky enough to have a strong mind. Most likely due to her status as a Saint.
Either way, there's more knowledge that she's definitely going to look at.
For now…
"I need a nap.."
The Saint yawned and closed the book.
Just that small glimpse into the history inside this book tired her out.. she's going to have to get used to it if she wants to read the whole thing.
The Saint leaned down and slid the book under her bed before laying down on her bed to sleep..
But.. even with how tired she is..
Hinata isn't sure if she'll be able to sleep at all..
Sivert..
There's more about him that she didn't even know until now.. in fact.
He's never revealed such information, at least not all of it. He did speak a lot about his homeworld..
Hinata's eyes closed and she sighed..
Well..
She'll think more about it tomorrow, right now she really wants to go to bed..
End!
5 month late chapter haha.. sorry guys. The chapter itself has been done for a while but I never had the time to fully revise it, but I'm sort of glad. It allowed me to take a break as I cleared my head and focused on my education. Won't say it won't happen again, it might..
For the meantime I'm glad to have finally started the Growing Nations Arc! I have more chapters all typed up, they just need revising which I plan to do all day today.
That's all! Take care and see you guys next time.
