Chapter 32, Intercepted Transmission

He had some doubts this would work, but it did. The hunter held a golden bullet radiating a holy aura in between his thumb and index finger. Such a small bullet yet the energy it carries is deadly to monsters and demons alike.

Sivert grinned, he looked up and to his right at the warlock Kaguya who stood next to the Titan Sigrun.

His wonderous golden eyes were fixated on Kaguya. She stood tall and proud with both hands behind her back, Sivert held the bullet up for her and Sigrun to see.

The Holy energy in this bullet was a result of Kaguya's immense faith and devotion in Sivert, and the power she now draws from him.

With knowing the Secret of Faith and Grace. Guardians devoted to Sivert can now utilize Holy Magic. Effectively borrowing his power and using it to create weapons and items like the bullet he carries.

What's more.

This bullet was quick and easy to produce, with the Titan Kali here standing next to Sivert. She had witnessed its creation.

A woman of her talent along with her own faith in Sivert would allow her to forge thousand if not millions of these bullets within the span of a few months.

However, there was a downside. The energy in the bullet was too much for any city made firearm to wield aside from an exotic, but even those didn't bring out the bullets true potential.

So, Kali had brought a suitable firearm forged by her talent. An auto rifle, common among many Guardians but this one harbored magical energy and Light itself.

Even better, the titan had already begun producing more effective magical bullets than the ones the Guardians had before.

Bullets capable of piercing through Legend Grade Armor, but such bullets were expensive for the Guardians.

"Nice job."

"Thank you my Lord."

Earlier, Sigrun had volunteered to help make the bullet but Sivert denied her. She was capable of wielding Holy Magic only the problem is..

She wasn't a mad fanatic for Sivert like Kaguya who literally worships him and has her own little shrine of the hunter in her room. The warlock is a sociopath and a maiden in love to her God.

Just the faith and devotion Sivert needed, of course. Denying Sigrun and giving her this reason had hurt the Titan a little.

To think she wouldn't be able to draw out the full potential of Sivert's power. She was even stronger than Kaguya.

"I bet it does."

Sivert plans to reward her later, as much as he'd want to and knowing Kaguya's naughty desires. He couldn't take her in bed for Sivert would never do that to his beloved subordinates.

But he can offer something else that will satisfy Kaguya. New armor and more brutal training. The warlock loves learning what she can from Sivert.

Sivert picked up the Auto Rifle with his left hand.

Standing not too far from him was the Demon Peer Squall with Misora standing next to him to get an up close review of the bullet's potential.

Misora was Sivert's first demon subordinate and will always be his most treasured, however Squall was stronger than her. He was stronger than her before she fled to Sivert's side and received his Salvation, and after.

He was a Red colored Demon, a descendant of Guy who reigned supreme in Hell since the day he was born. The first demon and the strongest. He was by Guy's side before Misora was even born by Rain..

That is why, as the strongest demon in Sivert's ranks. The hunter must see how the bullet harms him to see it's true potential.

"Sorry for asking about this Squall."

"Don't be.. if that woman's faith is true. That bullet shall pierce through my defenses with no problem. I am glad to be the test subject for this."

If the bullet can harm him, potentially even kill him..

There's no telling how much damage it'd do to a Primordial. Specifically the two Primordials Misery and Rain.

If war between Sivert and Guy came to it, those two would be his powerhouses. Even just those two alone can destroy all of Sivert's demons.

It was simply how the hierarchy of strength worked. A demon can never surpass its Primordial masters in terms of power.

Of course, this was all true if Sivert had not learned the Secret of Faith and Grace. He was greatly amazed when he watched Misora use Holy Magic with no problem as well all his demons..

Luminous has no idea of what kind of advantage she just gave Sivert. There was no more doubt, more so after Sivert returned with new power and experience.

A war between Guy and Him would end in Sivert's victory. It was no longer a situation he was worried about.

Though he may not desire war as he said during Squall's reports. He is fine if it happens.

It'll just allow Sivert to wipe someone he loathes off the planet and to send him back to the fiery pits of hell that he came from.

Sivert took aim at Squall with his rifle and fired immediately after his sights were set on the demon's head.

The bullet had penetrated the demonic defenses of Squall with no problem and pierced his head.

Killing his body and dealing great harm to his spiritual body at the same time.

The demon's body dropped dead but was resurrected within seconds, allowing Squall to inhabit it again.

Once he stood up he pulled the bullet out of his head.

"Ngh.."

It burned through his hands and he was forced to drop it, the pain he felt was dealt spiritually as well. Even after being fired, the bullet was still holding all of Kaguya's faith and Sivert's power.

In the past, Sivert had witnessed Demons effortlessly catch bullets. Even magic bullets he had made, but seeing how it burned through Squall's hand like acid.

Trying to catch this bullet would result in a demon's death.

"Perfect…"

The results made Sivert drool a little.

"Misora, your faith is as strong as Kaguya's. Make a batch of bullets with Kali, Squall, thanks again, you may now go resume your earlier task."

The two demons bowed in response, with Squall departing first. Kali picked up the rifle off the table and jogged over to pick up the bullet on the ground.

She soon departed with Misora.

"My Lord, now that this is over. I ask that you permit me and Kaguya to depart so we may continue our training.."

The titan had some.. steam to let out. It was obvious that she was incredibly jealous!

"Your permitted."

Despite being weaker than her, Kaguya was always happy to fight Sigrun as it allowed her to hone her abilities.

They left within seconds and Sivert left after, he has a meeting with Benimaru and the Lycanthropes to discuss battle plans and the Guardian's involvement.

Her fist struck her opponent's shield he held before her. Cracking it and destroying it. The large knight swung his cleaver, only for it to be caught and crushed.

Sigrun delivered a uppercut that removed the knight's head. Effectively killing him.

"Hm.. she's having an easier time." The High Elf Rhaegar who watched from a nearby stand pointed out.

"That's because she's my pupil."

The titan Evander boasted proudly. Together, him and Rhaegar had invited the two Guardians Sigrun and Kaguya so they could test out the monsters they trained and created.

And because they can keep a secret.

"She's already broke her limits correct?"

"Mhm, her body is still changing but soon she will become a Full Fledged Saint."

"Then such a challenge isn't for her… Lord Sivert planned this all out for the weaker Lightbearer's."

It was them that need to get strong.

"Agh!"

Rhaegar heard a painful scream, he and Evander looked towards the Warlock Kaguya.

She was having a harder time…

The knights she fought were quick to react, they possessed skills only a true swordsmen could learn!

They were monsters!

The only reason she was cutting them down was due to her Mythical Grade glaive that cut through their cleavers like butter.

"Maybe that's another reason Sigrun is having an easier time. She recognizes my style the knights are using." Evander commented with a smirk.

A style she has fought against for years and has developed a counter for.

"That too…"

"Ha!"

Kaguya cut down another knight, one that landed a few cuts on her. These knights were powerful, and annoying!

They didn't charge in, they observed and if possible prepared counters, but even if they couldn't. One would charge in and sacrifice itself so the others could land a blow as Kaguya worked to slaughter the first one.

These knights actually communicated with each other, planning and sharing information instead of the usual hive knights you'd see that would rush in to take the glory for themselves without giving a damn about their fellow hive.

"RAH!"

Kaguya cut down the last knight, she panted heavily, covered in sweat and blood.

What's more…

The armor they wore was Light resistant! Light can harm them yes but it wouldn't do as much damage as it usually would.

Earlier, Kaguya chucked a Nova Bomb at a group of knights, they were still standing after, with only minor scratches on their armor and weapons.

However, Stasis does the trick, just Kaguya was already mentally exhausted from it using it to much. She hasn't even been here long either!

"As expected of Lord Sivert... taming hive was one thing but shaping them into formidable opponents?"

Oh Kaguya admired him even more!

She turned around to find Sigrun standing there, looking up at Rhaegar and Evander.

"Is that it?"

"No.. there's one more. He'll be here any minute!" The titan yelled in response.

They were currently in an arena that looks like a Hive built arena, and Evander was having some of the best hive in Sivert's horde come and fight these two.

"Can I ask a question?"

"Sure."

"Is Sivert breeding these guys?" The titan curiously asked.

"Huh? You think he'd go at it with a Hive Wizard? Well he might've after being with Lethaea a lot."

"You know what I meant!"

Evander chuckled in amusement, teasing his pupil was always enjoyable, but he was glad she asked such a question. Shows how observant she is.

"Yes, he is. He has the strongest knights mating with the strongest Wizards, creating even stronger Hive. Though.. one of them refuses to mate."

She was the most powerful wizard in Sivert's Hive, however she had no interest in the other knights. Even the knight Evander trained!

Her eyes were set on her King…

That's why Evander made his joke earlier, he has no idea if it's possible but if Sivert does do something like that. The Titan would be very disgusted but would understand. It wouldn't be for love or anything like that, only to birth stronger hive!

"I see.."

As Sigrun was about to ask another question, the ground started to shake. Her and Kaguya looked towards the arena entrance, listening as the large footsteps that shook the ground drew near.

Eventually the one responsible revealed himself.

A large Hive wielding a large battle axe, such a hive has a name though.

A Darkblade…..

And the aura this guy radiated was no joke. Twice as strong than all the knights Sigrun and Kaguya battled.

"This is going to be fun…"

Sigrun whispered in a sarcastic tone with the warlock Kaguya only grumbling in annoyance. Sigrun was going to be doing most of the work during this fight, she can already tell.

The Dark Blade let out a mighty roar and the battle commenced.

There he stood, before the large statue of his lord, in this very dark room, an Arch demon he is, the Arch Demon had been tasked with exploring the Pyramid ships that have been sitting in this strange, dark dimension.

The ascendant plane it's called..

A fitting place for a demon like him.

He's already explored several pyramid ships, finding nothing that was worth offering to his king.

Just weird artifacts that belonged to a once great civilization, and weird horse statues.

Part of his task was to renovate the interior of all ships, to replace the hideous and filthy statues inside with statues of his lord. Such a task was mentally draining cause it required all his focus and one mistake of building a statue of his great lord could cost him his life..

He's taken Salvation and this demon does not want to lose it!

With one final check on the statue and making sure it holds all the beauty his lord possesses, he left this room to move onto the other.

Most the interior's of the ships were the same, though this one has had some differences.

Like strange golden statues of a hideous four legged creature.

Or some tall two legged fat one..

it's as if this ship was used as some storage for someone.

The Arch demon progressed to the next room, coming to a full stop once he entered.

It wasn't another room, just a balcony that oversaw a fairly large ship that looked very differently.

Hell it looked unrelated aside from the black and dark purple coloring it possessed.

Along with the weird golden chalice symbol on the side.

Finally, something worth the interest of his god? He couldn't be fully sure though, he needed to investigate it further.

The Arch Demon hovered off the ground and levitated towards the ship, he took note of the large weaponry it possessed. Cannons and launchers of some sort.

Finding an entrance to the ship was a pain so the demon punched through the roof, creating a big enough hole for him to drop through.

The interior of the ship added to the demon's theory that this ship was truly unrelated to the pyramid ships.

It was dark and the demon had to create magic lights that followed him around to light the ship up.

There were a few recognizable Pyramid tech objects in here but that was about it. The ship's entire structure was made by someone else.

From a different civilization.

The demon continued to traverse the hallways he found himself in, eventually coming upon a door that was slammed shut.

Not a problem of course! It was destroyed within a second!

The demon had entered a room with large windows that oversaw the interior of the Pyramid ship.

There were several different devices that this demon had little knowledge of.

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

One of them was making a weird noise and flashing an orange light. So of course the demon approached it.

He stared at the flashing light for a few seconds, wondering what the purpose of it was for..

The demon placed a finger on the orange light out of curiosity.

"Eh?"

The light stopped and suddenly the whole device activated, as did the other's in this room.

Actually, it seems the entire ship activated, at least partially. It hummed as power begun coursing through it, activating all the devices.

"My glorious shadow legion!"

The Arch Demon turned his attention to the largest device in the room, a large screen that projected a very fat creature.

"Hm…"

This creature looks like the strange golden statues in the Pyramid Ship he saw earlier.

"We celebrate another victory against my traitorous daughter! It will not be long until she submits and we can finally leave this cursed system the Witness has left us! We will expand farther and explore new worlds! Ushering my great Empire into a new age!"

Hearing that alone already gave the Arch Demon the greenlight to contact Lady Misora.

This required much more investigating and most definitely the attention of his lord.

"Hmm."

The elf was disappointed from this. Her eyes were focused on the holographic war table in the middle of the meeting room in the tower. She and many others surrounded the table, looking at the plans set before them.

"Something wrong?"

Sivert who stood on the opposite end of the table asked.

"I must admit I hoped we would have a bigger play in this plan against Clayman's army."

A lot of Guardians here were itching to charge head on into an army belonging to the cowardly demon lord. Instead, Benimaru who created this plan with Sivert's assistance has the participating Guardians on the ridges of the Canyon they plan to intercept Clayman's army at.

Armed with long ranged rifles so they can pick off the Majin in the army.

"Mm.. well that's the plan, Rimuru has already sent them to the Canyon in the Orc Kingdom and by now I'm sure Benimaru already has everyone in position."

"That's quite a bummer.."

The other Guardians in the room gave silent nods in agreement. The holomap deactivated and the lights in the war room lit up.

"What about you?"

"I'm going to go see Rimuru and then do some work in Sol's Peak. Oh! Congratulations Veylance on your promotion."

Sivert was three days late on the Titan's promotion to Titan Vanguard. He wasn't actually the highest leading vote when Sivert looked at the polls.

It was Evander who had the most votes but he had no interest in it so the one with the second highest votes, Sim would have to take the spot.

Only the guy is preparing to be a father and is on vacation right now, so he immediately sent Nimerah away as soon as she stepped foot in his house to offer him the position.

So it fell to the third highest vote, Veylance. Nimerah's second closest friend after the hunter and dark elf Galadriel.

He's a newborn Saint and actually has better leadership skills then Evander and Sim but the titans chose their favorites.

Veylance accepted the promotion without hesitation, he's already been leading large strike groups for years even before ending up in this hell of a world.

He's nowhere close to a new light and knows how to keep Guardians in check.

"Thank you. It's more difficult than I thought it'd be."

His fellow titans are a pain in the ass to deal with.

"That reminds me Sivert."

It was Nimerah who spoke, "How are you able to keep all the hunters in check when your never at the tower…"

The hunter grinned and a few other hunter's in the room started to chuckle and snicker.

"You wouldn't understand."

"I'm positive I would."

Nimerah was very desperate to know how. When he wasn't the hunter vanguard, she was struggling day and night trying to keep the hunters from wandering off and doing stupid things..

Like trying to fight in the Colosseums of Ingrassia to earn an extra buck, but now they act like obedient dogs and get their jobs done without complaining one bit.

Unfortunately, her determined response only got more of the hunters to chuckle and laugh.

"Oh.. I see. Is it because I'm not a Hunter?"

"Of course."

"Tch."

That smug look on his face… Nimerah wanted to wipe it off with a smack! Such a show off!

"Whatever…"

With the meeting concluded, the participating Guardians departed but before Nimerah could leave Sivert intercepted her.

"Hm? What's wrong?"

Sivert fixed a glance at the automatic door that led into the war room. It closed once everyone was out, the only one who remained was the warlock Kaguya whom he bumped into onto his way here. She was taking a break while Sigrun continued testing out the monsters Sivert created.

But after bumping into Sivert she accompanied him at his request.

"How faithful are you to me?"

"Enough to prostrate before you…" Nimerah admitted. She hates his carefree personality but she is faithful.

Good enough.

"Well. I have a gift for you then. Kaguya and Sigrun have already tried and succeeded."

"Gift…?"

"Mhm. You'll be borrowing my power!" Sivert said with excitement.

That caught the warlock's full interest. "How?"

"Through Holy Magic! Very easy apparently if your truly devoted to me." Sivert fixed a glance at Kaguya.

Nimerah looked at the warlock who held out her right hand, aiming her palm at Nimerah.

A white and golden energy enveloped Kaguya's arm and hand until it fired out.

"Ngh!"

Nimerah blocked just in time with her staff but the power knocked her back, causing her to crash onto the war table.

She quickly recovered and sat up.

Her eyes widening in realization at what Kaguya just used.

Holy Cannon, a common holy magic spell yet it sent Nimerah flying back. Even leaving a burn mark on her gauntlets.

The result of her faith in Sivert and Sivert's power itself.

"Ho… how!"

She wasn't even angry that the warlock fired at her, instead fascinated by this! If she or the other guardians can borrow Sivert's power…

Their strength would dramatically increase. They could possibly make items like holy bullets too, though she doesn't know Sivert is already making them.

"A secret…"

"Please!"

Nimerah ended up on her knees before Sivert, "I will worship you if need be, lend me your strength!"

The elf's plead did not fall on deaf ears, as cruel as it was, Sivert just wanted her to beg for his own amusement. He crouched down and whispered to her..

It was these words that truly made Sivert a God in Nimerah's eyes..

And she was about to wield his power.

"Go ahead and spread the word, not too much though alright?"

"Ye.. Yes! Yes my Lord!"

"Ew.. cut that out."

He didn't like Nimerah acting that fanatical for him. "Sorry! I'm just so… so amazed.."

Long has Nimerah desired to wield Holy Magic and study it, and here comes Sivert. Who is to be the subject of her faith.

She was shaking in excitement.

"Now, get going."

"Right!"

Nimerah stood up and bowed, she immediately left, whispering words..

Prayers…

Sivert sighed and shrugged. If it'll help them get stronger than he's fine with Guardians going as far as to pray to him.

"Don't go creating a religion about me Kaguya." He suddenly ordered.

She gave a nod, silently pouting underneath her helmet. She already had plans to create shrines dedicated to him.

"Let's get going."

He had another meeting to go to.

The office was quiet and a chill, relaxing atmosphere loomed, there were several people inside with him.

Despite the upcoming danger of meeting with a bunch of Demon Lord's. Rimuru's office was surprisingly calm.

Sivert looked at Rimuru, examining his new outfit.

An outfit Sivert thought was cool.

"Nice outfit."

"Thank you."

Shuna really is a master when it comes to creating outfits that fit the person's appearance.

If only she was older and her heart wasn't set on Rimuru. The hunter would totally marry her!

Sivert sat down on and relaxed on the left couch in the office, next to Veldora who was reading his manga. Being the couch stood Kaguya.

Sitting down on Sivert's left shoulder was a familiar little Demon Lord.

Ramiris, Sivert knew she was here last time he was here and was quite glad to see her but it seems she's quite preoccupied with the manga like Veldora.

Reading it with him..

She was still cute and cheerful as always when she isn't boasting about her Demon Lord status. She also has a servant, a black colored demon called Beretta who Rimuru named.

"To think you lost your elementals.. unbelievable." Those were Ramiris's first words when they reunited..

Sivert had to lie that they left him, making her quite disappointed in him. He was no longer a Hero as well!

And here Ramiris had hopes for him to become the greatest Hero ever but it just didn't happen..

"So. Before I leave to Walpurgis, do you guys mind telling me about the Demon Lord's?" Rimuru asked the three.

"Demon Lord's? Yes I've fought a few." Veldora quickly answered.

He looked up, "About two thousand years ago. There was this Vampire city I destroyed for fun. The Vampiress who ruled over that place was a Demon Lord, if memory serves."

For fun….

Sivert snickered in amusement while Rimuru gave Veldora a disappointed look.

Veldora smiled, "Oh you should have seen how furious she was! She made for a very good rival to play with!"

He leaned back against the couch and gently caressed his chin with two fingers.

"Now, what was her name… Lulus? No, maybe Milus?" he pondered.

It was long ago and Veldora could not remember.

"The Vampire Demon Lord already changed over a while ago. Now it's a man named Valentine." Ramiris said.

"What, Really?"

Sivert didn't bother leaning in on the conversation, even though he knew the real Vampire Demon Lord. He was rather curious on the stories these two had. Stories he may have heard already but at least it's from their perspective.

"Speaking of playmates. There's the Giant Demon Lord Dagruel. We fought a number of times but never found a winner.."

A Giant who can fight with Veldora..

Definitely not someone Rimuru wants to deal with.

"By the way, Mentor, Have you ever fought with Guy?"

"Hmm?"

Now that was a question Sivert was curious about, Guy did say he had to.. take care of Veldora one time because he was causing to much damage, but he never went to much on the details.

"Ah.. well, he keeps to himself in the Far North after all. No reason for me to go to the middle of nowhere!"

He totally deflected the question but it was clear to Sivert Guy had defeated Veldora before. He was more experienced than the young Veldora.

"Oh well. Guy is really strong and one of the Oldest Demon Lord's like me!" Ramiris boasted proudly.

Sivert closed his eyes, his attention drifted away from the conversation..

Someone familiar was coming.

He opened his eyes.

"Welp. Time to go."

"Huh?"

Rimuru didn't expect that, Sivert stood up and straightened his coat.

"Nice seeing you guys. Good luck at Walpurgis, Rimuru, Ramiris, Shion, Treyni and.."

Sivert looked at the demon standing next to Treyni.

A strange body but a cool name.

"Berretta."

The demon only nodded in response. They didn't know each other that well..

"Wait Sivert. Where are you going?"

"To go relax or something." He casually replied.

"But were not done with our conversation."

"I know but I'm on the clock."

Sivert took a step back, "Oh. Good luck to you too Ranga."

He of course couldn't forget petting the cute Dire Wolf.

Ranga happily accepted the scratches.

"Ugh, alright. Take these first!"

Rimuru pulled out a pile of papers from his desk, setting them on top. The warlock Kaguya ran up and grabbed the pile, bowing in thanks before moving back to Sivert's side.

"Alright, see you later!"

Sivert departed immediately after Kaguya grabbed the papers, leaving a small trace of resonance energy that soon dispersed.

"Ugh.. I can't believe him.."

Rimuru crossed his arms and shook his head in disappointment. How dare he leave without waiting until Rimuru leaves to Walpurgis?!

"It seemed like Lord Sivert was in a hurry." Treyni pointed out.

It did..

"Hm?"

"GRRRRRR!"

Ranga started to growl, his attention was shifted on the entrance of the office.

"What's wrong Ranga?" Shion asked with concern.

"It would seem our escort has arrived." Treyni answered for the dire wolf.

Rimuru stepped forward and up next to Ranga, giving a small pat.

"It's All Right Ranga."

"But Master.."

"This is an invitation from the Demon Lord's. We have to expect a little attitude."

Turning his attention forward..

Rimuru watched as a demonic door appeared in the room..

It was imposing in the eyes of Ramiris.

A door that transcends space…

"Fancy Décor.." Rimuru whispered.

But a little dramatic..

The doors opened and soon a beautiful green haired and eyed women stepped out, wearing a crimson maid outfit.

She was very beautiful but felt very imposing just like Diablo in Rimuru's eyes. She most likely was a Demon Peer like Diablo.

"I have come to escort you… Lady Ramiris."

The fairy happily flew towards the demon. "Good to see you again Misery! How's your partner Rain?" she happily asked.

"The same as ever, thank you."

The now named Misery looked at Rimuru, "And you are Lord Rimuru, I presume?"

He only nodded in response..

"My Master Guy, Has instructed me to escort you.."

Misery stepped to the left of the door, allowing entry.

"Please proceed through this doorway to the Walpurgis meeting place."

"Don't take too long Rimuru!"

Ramiris shouted, not hesitating to enter with Treyni and Beretta.

Rimuru stared into the entrance..

He was truly going to enter the Monster's Den, now he's having second thoughts about not bringing Sivert with..

Someone with more combat experience then Ranga and Shion..

Someone who is immortal..

But it was too late.

"Whew.."

Rimuru kept his cool and entered with Shion and Ranga behind him..

Misery watched them disappear, she moved to enter as well..

But she suddenly stopped.

The Demon Peer turned around, examining the room.

There was a familiar trace of aura. It was small but it was enough to give Misery a familiar feeling that bother's her enough to catch her attention.

Her eyes rested on the left couch in the office..

Her brows furrowed, looking at Veldora who paid no mind to her, instead reading his manga.

She didn't care about Veldora but..

There's a possibility someone sat next to him.

Someone powerful..

Someone..

Familiar to Misery yet she could not point out who.

She'll think more on it later.

For now. She has a job to escort Ramiris and Rimuru to Walpurgis.

The beautiful Green Haired maid turned around and entered into the gateway towards Walpurgis.

The door closed behind her and soon vanished out of the office, leaving the carefree Veldora alone.

The warlock Nimerah walked towards the cliff edge, looking down at the large canyon below.

She stood next to Sivert who suddenly arrived once preparations were finished. "Came to watch the battle." He said with a bright smile.

Though he later admitted he just got done doing something extremely boring and wanted to watch some blood spill.

The warlock didn't say much in response, she didn't have a problem with him spectating.

They could see the large army of Demon Lord Clayman marching down the canyon, oblivious to their presence.

This land, she hasn't been here before.

The once Orcish Kingdom of Orbic.

The Oni Benimaru walked up to her and Sivert accompanied by the three Beastketeers.

"We will be on standby if you need us. If not then we will watch." Nimerah told the Oni.

Rimuru has already left for Walpurgis and Sivert stationed several Guardians at Tempest.

Though Nimerah's not sure why he did when they could be useful elsewhere.

The Storm Dragon Veldora was already there! Protecting it!

Well whatever, she'll still follow his commands.

If Tempest need's the Lightbearer's, Sivert will allow Nimerah to send them in. If not though, then he will keep them out of the fight.

"I understand. I thank you for accompanying us once again. I've.. personally seen how the Lightbearer's fight. It's quite… chaotic."

Nimerah smiled a little, Sivert wasn't there but she remembers watching the duel between Shaxx and Benimaru along with a few others.

Of course Shaxx won but even then Benimaru kept fighting him in hopes of getting stronger.

The mighty titan had found a good playmate who he could actually use some power on without fearing the possibility of killing him.

But the battle only lasted a few hours since it was time for Rimuru to send Tempest's army to the battlefield.

Nimerah was amazed by his capability to be able to transport such a large army using spatial magic!

Not even she could do such a thing, only with a few people but that was all.

She shivered in fear at the thought of fighting the slime..

A True Demon Lord…

"Now, excuse us." Benimaru bowed before turning around and walking back to his position with the three Beastketeers.

Nimerah looked back down at the marching army..

They had more numbers and from what she's heard this army was led by one of Clayman's Finger's.

The Middle Finger Yamza.

A powerful Majin..

Nimerah wasn't sure how this battle would play out but by the looks of it, Benimaru had a plan.

"Nimerah-san! Please let us go out and fight!"

A few titans behind her pleaded, wanting to crack some skulls open.

"No."

She coldly refused.

If she let titans run into battle they'll cause to much chaos, there'll be a possibility that even a few of Tempest's soldiers could get harmed from their Light.

They pouted like children, even asking Sivert next.

"No."

Same answer and they eventually accepted the two's decision. However a few hunters who accompanied them were allowed to have fun with their snipers along with the warlocks who brought scout rifles.

Sivert has allowed them to use their long range firearms to provide small support.

This made the Titan's even more jealous as none of them brought any long ranged weapons like they were supposed to.

Truly a shame..

It was silent..

Nimerah was still looking down at the army.

Suddenly several orc's along with Geld appeared on both sides of the marching army.

They used their Extra Skill Earth Manipulating, creating massive holes in the earth beneath the army, catching them completely off guard.

Thousands of troops belonging to Clayman fell down the holes. Those who were capable of flight were the lucky ones.

Or..

So a few Guardians thought.

Within seconds, the Dragonewt Gabiru along with his Hiryuu intercepted those who were capable of flight.

Slaughtering them..

It was a one sided battle and the hunters and warlocks started firing their weapons.

"If one of you hits an ally, I'll shove your rifles up down your throats." Sivert threatened. They all used powerful and magical snipers that could even take out a High Orc in full clad unique grade armor..

Fortunately, the hunters understood this and were careful on who they fired on. However with how one sided the battle was..

Landing shots on targets before they are killed is hard…

Benimaru has caught Clayman's army in his grasps that much.

Heh..

That oni sure was scary.

"They don't even need us.." the warlock Aurora whispered in disbelief and stopped firing her scout rifle.

Had the Lightbearer's gone in, they'd just get in the way of the plan. That's why Sivert's only allowing long ranged weapons to be used.

"Indeed.."

This fight was decided already, however there remains the commander.

Yamza..

How will Benimaru deal with him remains unknown to Nimerah. But she will continue waiting and If the Oni needed her and the Lightbearer's then they'd join in to assist.

"Glad were friends with Tempest.." Aurora whispered.

She wasn't sure how a fight between them would end up but she did not wish for conflict.

How else will she be able to get wasted after a hard day at work?!

Just like the other Lightbearer's, Tempest was a good place to relax in their eyes. there's even a bunch of guardians wanting Nimerah and Sivert to allow some monsters to set up stores and shops in the tower so they can relax quicker and easier..

Nimerah's fine with it but Sivert's answer still remains to be heard.

"Yes.."

Nimerah was glad as well. They had a Demon Lord as an ally now along with the Storm Dragon Veldora. Securing a place in this world will be much easier.

"Shaxx is going to flip once he finds out he missed out on such a sight."

Oh yeah..

That was true as well.

"Yes but he insisted on staying at Tempest.."

Nimerah just hopes the Titan doesn't do anything crazy.

Like challenge the Storm Dragon Veldora whom Nimerah decided to avoid in fear of invoking his wrath. The guy acts like a Titan, completely unpredictable in behavior!

The results of the between Shaxx and Veldora duel would be catastrophic.

"!?"

Nimerah's senses overloaded and she turned her gaze down the ravine where Clayman's army came from.

A large amount of magicules was building up over there..

Slowly forming and rising out from the ravine was two large one eyed creatures full of bloodlust..

"Ehh?! Charybdis!" Aurora shouted in fear.

"What did you say?"

"That's Charybdis commander! If the description is correct! And There's two of them to! I think we might need to get involved!"

Charybdis..

Nimerah has heard of the monster but has never seen it with her own eyes. If what Aurora says is true then they may need to get involved.

Such a monster suddenly appeared here? Why and how.

Nimerah turned to Sivert.

"Sivert!"

"Relax…"

There was no sign of concern on him.

Nimerah couldn't believe him! Tempest will get slaughtered!

Just as she finished thinking, black flames exploded and enveloped the two large monsters..

And within seconds they were both removed from existence.

The area was silent.

"What just.. happened?"

{Charybdis has been defeated and Yamza has been defeated.}

Benimaru told the army through thought communication.

"That fast…"

Unbelievable..

Nimerah really was glad they were Tempest's allies.

She fixed a glance at Sivert who was smiling a little.

"You knew they were going to win."

"Mhm. You should put more trust in to our allies Nimerah."

Sivert walked closely to the edge of the cliff and sat down on it as Nimerah pondered about his words.

The hunter decided he'd stay a little for the aftermath to make sure Tempest gets the many survivors of Clayman's army situated.

"Laborers huh…"

Quite crafty he had to admit. Personally, Sivert would've put all their heads on spikes and place them around his land as a warning to other potential enemies.

Perhaps in the past it'd be different but now Sivert has little to no remorse for enemies that intend to hurt him or the ones he treasures.

"Looks like it's going well. If something else happens let me know."

"As you wish…"

Another unexpected turn of events, she didn't think Tempest would take this many prisoners and turn them into Laborers.

"That slime is unpredictable.."

She whispered with her eyes slowly falling on Sivert, he jumped off the cliff and vanished..

"Just like him."

The warlock felt so out of her league that it wasn't even funny.

Appearing back in his throne world, Sivert had hoped to check up on Surtr and the project, right after he made a quick stop at his palace..

He sensed something odd there.

Now he knows why.

Hovering in the air above his palace was a ship, a type of warship Sivert hasn't seen in years..

The design….. there was no doubting it!

Why the hell was a Cabal warship in the sky in his throne world?!

He wasted no time in flying towards the ship, as he approached he could see a few of his demons flying around the ship.

Finally he found the right person to talk to.

"My Lord!"

Or more like she found him.

Misora intercepted Sivert and hovered before him.

"You know what I want to hear."

"Of course my Lord.."

A full on explanation on why this ship was here! And where the hell did it come from!

"I was contacted by one of my subordinates who were tasked with exploring the pyramids in the Ascendant Plane. They found this in one of them."

"A cabal warship?"

Misora's face lit up in joy. "Of course you know the origins my lord."

"No. Not the origins, I just know what ship it is.."

This warship looks way more different then the cabal warships Sivert has seen. Sure some of the cabal legions had different designs, like the red legion warships were more advanced than the sky burners or any other scout legion sent to the sol.

But this just looked..

Highly upgraded. He could sense the Pyramid tech within..

"I'm going to need better Misora."

"And I shall deliver better."

She held up her right hand, showing a small holographic device in the palm of her hand.

City tech.

It activated at Misora's touch, showing the transmission she knows will catch the attention of Sivert..

Oh and it did..

His brows furrowed and his beautiful golden eyes showed immense focus and shock.

"He's.. alive.."

Just as those words escaped his mouth, images flashed in Sivert's mind.

"Sonovabitch…"

Memories, hidden from him by the Witness. Sivert was powerful but if there was one thing the Witness knew more about, it was the Darkness. Even all those years of training didn't teach Sivert all about it..

Another memory flashed itself…

A powerful entity..

Just like the Traveler.

And it was in the hands of that fat bastard.

"So there's one more piece.."

The game was not over..

There was one last piece for Sivert to clear out, he failed to protect the city but if these memories serve right. Calus was a big player in attacking it..

The hunter cannot allow him to live.

*Krrrk!*

Misora looked down at her hand, finding the holographic device to be shattered as a result of Sivert's immense rage.

"My lord?"

"I will hunt him down, I don't care how long it takes.. I don't care if I must journey through the cosmos. I will have his head.."

The hunter looked at Misora, who seemed to be entranced by his sudden desire to murder.

"Misora my loyal demon. You will accompany me."

"Accompany you where.. my lord?"

"My universe."

Crossing the boundaries of space and time was dangerous, Sivert knew that well. One simple mistake and he could arrive to far into the future, or into the past..

Such a risky and dangerous skill..

His skill allows him to do it but finding the coordinates, oh that takes a while and a ton of calculating.. even for him.

Luckily, he's already begun.

"Such a reward.."

To be able to visit the origins of her master!

"Aria!"

"Yess?"

The ghost happily answered and Sivert looked at her with a smile. "You're staying here."

"Hah?!"

Now she was no longer happy.

"Sivert!"

"I know, I know but I need someone I trust greatly to run things here for me. I just let Rhaegar know, he'll come by to pick you up soon and will escort you wherever you go."

"But… I want to be with you."

"Aria my dear. Do this… and.."

Sivert smacked his lips, he's about to say something very…

Dangerous.

"I will make you a body."

"Huh? Really?!"

Her stunned reaction said it all.

"Yes, you can use the time I'm gone to think up a design."

"How long will you be gone?"

Now that…

Sivert did not know as time moves completely different. "Not sure… but I will try not to be gone longer than a month."

A month….

A month without Sivert..

Oh boy.

But for a body? Aria's always wanted a body but Sivert kept declining her requests, saying "It's to dangerous for you." or "You're not suitable for a body.."

Maybe with his recent change he can do it without any harm coming to Aria? The ghost hopes that's the case..

She's always wanted a body for there's lots she wants to do! Like eat, drink, bathe, and to kiss her lovely Guardian!

But most of all….

To dress up and become Sivert's maid!

There's much more she has planned but those were the main desires.

"Fine.. but you better be able to do it."

"I can, I can."

At least Sivert thinks he can….

"I will let the other's know in your stead."

"Nice! Appreciate it Aria."

Sivert leaned over and kissed his ghost on her shell, "Good luck."

The hunter swiftly departed with Misora.

He didn't leave just yet as he's still doing calculations. Sivert just had a curiosity to satisfy.

It has to do with his Pyramid ship..

He arrived in it's deepest depths, in the darkest rooms that not even he has yet explored.

There's a secret here that he's meant to uncover, now that some new memories surfaced.

Down here.. it was the wickedest.

The Darkness here was extremely fatal to even the strongest of Guardians. With enough capability of melting a ghost and it's light. It's not like this for all Pyramid ships..

Only a few.

Sivert traversed the dark hallways with Misora at his side, both unaffected by the dark luster that lingered.

They bathed in it without concern..

Soon they both came to a halt, there was a wall at the end of the hallway. Sivert reached out his right hand and placed the palm on the wall, leaving a handprint that resonated and unlocked the door.

Revealing a room with more lights than the hallways.

At the center of the room stood a statue of Sivert.

Were he to become a Disciple..

"Little much…."

The Witness was really preparing for an early victory wasn't it?

A cool statue though, Sivert has to admit. He was wearing jet black Pyramid tech armor with a black cape and held Lubrae's ruin in his right hand.

"Did you build that my Lord?"

"Nah.."

Sivert isn't that type of person, he's fine with other people doing it but making statues and sculptures of himself?

That's just not his style.

"Shall I destroy this statue then?"

"Feel free."

Misora's glaive flew past the hunter and cut through the statue in half, with the top piece sliding off and falling over.

Her glaive returned to her hand and the Demon Peer raised her hand to throw it again.

"Wait."

Sivert stopped her just in time as the destroyed statue begun to dissolve into millions of tiny Pyramid particles.

"For the record.. I did not know that was going to happen.."

This room hid a secret, that's all Sivert knew.

Looks like they found it.

The millions of pyramid particles started to form together into a large gate. The next second, it activated an orange portal.

"Huh…."

Sivert crossed his arms and stared at the portal with surprise. "What is it my Lord?"

"This portal… finishes all my calculations.."

In short, it leads directly to his universe, to the perfect time and in Sol too by the looks of it. He just doesn't know where in Sol….

"There's something on the other side though…."

It was waiting for them..

Misora couldn't sense anything on the other side…

Only… the unknown.

"Come on Misora!"

Sivert grabbed her hand much to her surprise and walked with her towards the portal.

"Been a minute…"

He whispered with a small smile, but he's glad he's going back, and best of all. It's to kill someone!

With one last step, Sivert and Misora entered through the portal, traversing through space and time with the marvelous technology of the Pyramid ship!

Dangerous tech it was but it worked like a charm!

They were here, at their desired location..

"The hell…"

That's a lie..

Sivert has no clue where they are!

He held Misora's hand tight as the confused Demon Peer looked around like him. They were floating…

In space!

Good thing they both don't need oxygen or they'd be completely dead!

"Woah…"

Sivert's golden eyes rested on something large that floated in silence. The darkness of space hid it well but Sivert could see it…

It was…. Gigantic.

The Hunter's eyes slightly widened as he suddenly felt connected to it, just as that strange feeling came in.

The thing lit up, revealing it's form.

"Holy…."

The hunter thought the Pyramid ships were huge but this ship.. right here.. takes the cake!

A ship… meant for him.

An ominous all black vessel with a colossal wingspan of 60 kilometers and a length of 13 kilometers. It was one of the largest starships Sivert has ever laid eyes. The size alone was one thing but the thousands of big guns it possessed showed this ship was capable of more than simply intimidating.

It's definitely been made using Pyramid Tech but Sivert noticed a ton of human tech on it, mostly human armaments' but there was definitely more inside..

Along with evils Sivert has yet to see...

"What?!"

Nimerah's voice rang through the war tent.

"Trust me. That was my reaction." Aria could fully understand Nimerah's feelings.

The warlock plopped down onto her wooden chair in front of a large wooden table. Surrounded by Guardians…

She was assisting with rounding up the prisoners until Aria came with Rhaegar, telling her this shit!

"Goddamnit… he can't just do this."

"Lord Sivert may do as he wishes." Rhaegar swiftly defended his master's actions.

"Not when he's the Hunter Vanguard! He should've consulted with me at least."

They were supposed to work as a team…

"A whole month…."

How the hell was Nimerah supposed to run things for a whole month?!

"Don't worry Nimerah! I'm here to help! Sivert left me with a bunch of stuff he wants done so be ready!" Aria cheerfully explained.

"Oh brother…"

She did not feel mentally prepared for what was to come….

End!

Not originally how I planned to write this chapter but the other versions are definitely not so good. So yeah! Sivert's got a big new Pyramid Capital ship. Let me go more into detail.

Describing my own ship was going to be hell so I decided to... borrow one. Not steal! I don't claim ownership of the design! I simply feel like it gives off a good Pyramid ship Vibe to it like Calus's Typhon Imperator does.

You guys know the Supremacy from Star Wars the Last Jedi? Well there you go. It's basically that ship. Same design and everything just bigger..

That's all, see you next chapter and I hoped you enjoyed!
