Three all flashbacks in this story will be in Bold while what happens in present time will not

Origin of the Owl Hero
Nedzu had seen a number of crazy things in both as an pro hero and as the principal here of UA high today had started like an ordinary first day of school however during Class 1-A's quirk assessment Nedzu had received a call from Aizawa that one of his students quirks he had been unable to erase
'Interesting' Nedzu thought taking a sip of his earl grey as he perused the student in questions file
"Curious" Nedzu said a loud scratching his chin
According to this young Izuku Midoriya had been assessed as quirkless at the age of four though shortly before the entrance exam he'd updated his quirk information not something too out of the ordinary it was not uncommon for children to discover new things about their quirks as they grow
Though the quirk updates didn't tend to be as drastic as young Midoriyas were

Through the use of specific symbols Izuku Midoriya can alter and change matter around him for a variety of effects
'Fascinating' Nedzu thought remembering the student thought remembering young Midoriyas performance in the entrance exam for someone who earned a substantial score for someone who only developed his quirk recently
Than there was the security footage of the altercation between young Midoriya and Bakugou that Aizawa had to intervene
"Very curious" Nedzu said wondering exactly just what answers he'd get when Aizawa brought in young Midoriya
'I'm dead I'm dead I'm dead I'm dead I'm dead' Izuku thought on repeat in his head his first day at his dream school had not gone the way he'd expected first Bakugou and Iida had been in his homeroom
Though Iida had apologized when he saw Izuku he was just someone who took the rules very seriously
That had been a surprise people didn't usually apologize to him
Shortly after his Aizawa sensei had showed up instead of going to orientation he had him and his whole class perform a quirk evaluation saying that the person who'd gotten last place was going to be expelled
Between his nerves and Bakugou tried to attack him before getting restrained by Aizawa sensei Izuku had managed to get a decent rank the good news Aizawa sensei for whatever reason had changed his mind about expelling anyone
Izuku didn't have the heart to tell that ponytailed girl that their sensei been serious about expelling whoever got in last place
The bad news Aizawa sensei had told Izuku to follow him to the principals office
The whole way there Izuku had been trying to figure out what he could have possibly done to get him sent to the principals office
Racking his brain he couldn't think of anything
Izuku walked into the office after Aizawa sensei seeing the principal Nedzu the Blood Hero Vlad King and
Izuku stopped his eyes widened in awe
"A-A-A-A ALL MIGHT" Izuku shouted in excitement rushing over pulling out his journal
"This is amazing it's such an honor to meet you I knew you were going to be teaching here because of your message but I didn't think I would get the chance to meet you in person I assumed that you would be teaching the Third year students you were my inspiration for becoming a hero may I have your autograph" Izuku rambled out quickly
It took All Might a moment to process Izukus rapid fire word vomit but once he did he laughed "ha ha of course Young Midoriya it'd be my pleasure" All Might answered taking the notebook signing Izukus notebook
Tears fell down Izukus eyes "thank you so much I will treasure this for the rest of my life this'll be a family heirloom passed down for generations" he said bowing in gratitude over and over again
"My pleasure Young Midoriya" All Might said
"Take a seat Midoriya" Aizawa sensei ordered Izuku gulped nodding he went back to his seat wondering once again what could he have possibly done to get in enough trouble to have a meeting Nedzu the smartest pro hero in Japan All Might the number one hero Vlad King and Eraserhead

'Oh farts' Izuku thought as he realized why he was here Izuku sat down
"I can explain" Izuku began nervously sweat began to form on his forehead he was doomed his hero career over before it even began
"I'd love to hear that explanation" Nedzu said turning his monitor showing security video it showed the quirk assessment on the screen the video began on the screen Bakugou had demanded for everyone to hear how did a quirkless nothing like him suddenly have a quirk
Having acted without thinking Izuku had pulled out a plant glyph using it he'd bound Bakugou in fire resistant plants Bakugou had nearly broken through the bindings until Aizawa sensei turned towards his quirk towards the explosive user erasing his quirk but not the plants
"You aren't in trouble young man" Vlad King spoke up for the first time "but Bakugou was quick to jump to violence against you and you didn't act surprised you look like you were expecting it"
"According to both yours and Bakugous files you've been classmates since preschool" Aizawa added "if you withhold information from us so you can fight Bakugou yourself we'll expel the both of you for vigilantisim"
"I'd hoped we wouldn't be in the same class" Izuku admitted "I knew how violently he'd react because I don't have a quirk"
"Despite evidence to the contrary that you clearly possess a quirk Young Midoriya"
"No" Izuku admitted knowimg he didn't have a choice if he lied he'd be expelled and his dream would be over
Izuku reached under his tie he pulled out a necklace shaped like an owls face titans blood slashing around behind the eyes "I don't"
Principal Nedzu eyed the necklace curiously "and what is within that necklace"
"It's animal blood" Vlad King answered "I can tell that much with my quirk though I don't recognize the species"
"You're correct sensei it's Titans blood being in proximity to the blood allows me to do my magic outside of the Boiling Isles" Izuku explained he could tell the senseis were confused while the principal was curious
"Why don't you start from the beginning please" Nedzu asked
Izuku nodded
"Don't you even think of applying to UA nerd" Bakugou said tossing Izukus burnt hero journal out the window "I'm going to be the only person from this loser middle school to make it into UA than I'll be the greatest hero that history has ever seen" Bakugou gave his 'friend' a sneer
"You you're a quirkless nothing not even worth the ink to write a footnote"
Katsuki sneered slapping his hand against his desk setting off a minor explosion that made Izuku flinch Katsuki laughed "some hero" he laughed before walking off with his 'friends'
"So that's the relationship between the two of you" All Might said frowning "how long has he been using his quirk to bully you"
"Ten years give or take" Izuku answered not knowing the exact answer "it all started one day when we were playing in the woods he tripped and I tried to help him the day after the bullying started against me and other extras I was the biggest target"
Izuku laughed but there was nothing happy about the laugh "until recently I was dumb enough to think we were still friends"
"Typical irrational quirk prejudice" Aizawa sensei scoffed shaking his head surprising Izuku he'd thought his homeroom teacher would be on Bakugous side
Vlad King nodded "a big fish in a small pond thinks he's a shark until he sees the ocean" he said like he's seen it plenty of times before "I'll inform Hound Dog after the meeting Principal"
"I'll inform young Bakugou and his of his transfer to Class 1-B after the meeting" Nedzu added "we'll be going with the standard operating procedure"

"Young Bakugou is not the first student we've received whose ego was inflated by those around him and he certainly won't be the last" Primcipal Nedzu explained "the ego is shattered when they realize their peers are more or less on equal ground with said student the psych review with Hound Dog is to help said student cope so they continue their training"
Izuku nodded "and if Bakugou can't"
"Than he is free to continue his education elsewhere" Nedzu answered "now if you wouldn't mind continuing your story"
Izuku nodded "yes sensei"
"Stupid Kaachan there's more room for both of us at UA" Izuku muttered walking towards the koi pond to fish out his journal once he got there he saw a little brown its head in the water
Whats an owl doing out in the middle of the day is it someones pet or something Izuku had never seen an owl that looked like that here in Japan did it belong to a tourist or something
"Hey little guy that isn't for you" Izuku said gently to the little bird Izukus eyes widened when the little owl looked at him almost as if it understood his words
In its beak was his journal
"Hey that's mine" Izuku shouted surprised when the owl hopped away after putting his journal into a sack Izuku ran after the owl who despite its tiny legs was able to keep ahead of him "come back here with my journal"
The owl didn't listen walking through a door that Izuku had never seen before without hesitation Izuku followed the owl and he was now in some kind of tent
That didn't make sense the door was outside of some kind of office building how did he end up here
Was it through the work of a teleportation quirk was that 'door' really a door and not some kind of portal was he now in a villains secret lair Izuku wasn't too sure about that last one though judging by the piles of garbage it seemed more like a the lair of a dumpster diver with the power to bend space to their whims
"There you are" Izuku heard a woman speak approaching the entrance to the tent Izuku saw a pale woman with grey hair in a red off the shoulder dress talk to an owl who was standing on top of a walking stick in the woman's hand the owl hooted before her manicured hands screwed the owl onto the stick
Before Izukus eyes the living breathing owl became an inanimate decoration on top of her staff
What kind of quirk could do that Izukus curious mind wondered as the woman dug through the sack she tossed away a diamond ring a antique katana that looked like it could date back to the Tokugawa shogunate and and a pearl declaring it all garbage before she pulled out a pair of googly eye glasses saying these would make her rich
'A powerful quirk she might have but she might also have a screw loose' Izuku thought watching as she pulled out his journal "seriously Owlbert this trash you should have left it where you found it" the woman said about to hold his journal over a lit candle
"Sorry that's mine thank you" Izuku cried out quickly snatching the book back before gunning for the door behind him Izuku could hear the woman snapped her fingers shortly after the door folded away turning into a suitcase
Izuku didn't have time to analyze it before he ran out of the tent stopping before he ran off the edge of a cliff overlooking a town unlike any he had ever seen
Pointy eared people and people with mutation quirks of all shapes and sizes walked around down below one oh my goodness just got eaten by his ice cream cone
"AHHHH WHERE AM I" Izuku shouted in fear tears in his eyes lookign to small person who looked like a fairy "hello fairy san do you know how to get back to Musastafu" he asked
The fairy like person opened a mouth filled with impossibly large teeth for a person of his size was that her quirk "give me your skin" she said before lunging
"Ahh not my skin" Izuku shouted in fear but before he could get bitten the woman from before grabbed him pulling him through the tent
"Please don't take my skin I'm sorry I just wanted my journal back" Izuku pleaded
"Your skin blech why would I want that" the woman asked now that he was looking her he could see her wrinkled face gold eyes which matched the fang sticking out of her mouth and the gem on the front of her dress
"Besides why would I hurt a potential customer" she said gesturing to her table full of wares "care for some human minty candy" she asked holding up some deodorant
"Maybe this prosthetic human foot full of holes is more your speed" she said gesturing to a croc
"Now I can see you're a customer of high tastes so let me present to you a one of a kind item" she said holding up a figure of All Might "behold the humans god of war look at his haunting visage and hear his foreboding words to his followers"
The woman pushed a button the action figures eyes glowed before saying "I am here"
All Might much to Izukus terror did a spit take spitting out blood before he turned into a skinny man
"AHHHHH ALL MIGHT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU" Izuku shouted horrified
One explanation from the principal later and Izuku learned the truth about All Might and his injury why he could only operate for three hours a day
"I promise I won't tell anyone"
"Thank young Midoriya please continue" he said "I certainly wasn't expecting to be mistaken for a god of War"
Izuku nodded
"Um miss that's not a god of war that's a toy for children" Izuku said passionately in defense of his favorite hero "and All Might isn't someone to be afraid of he's the greatest hero he's saved millions of lives and stopped some of the worst villains"
"Thank you for the kind words young Midoriya" All might thanked him
"Quit interrupting All Might" Aizawa sensei ordered
Izukus passionate words about All Might were enough to get a crowds attention "I'll buy the statue of the tiny hero" one said
"No I will I'll give thirty snails for it"
"I'll give you fifty"
"Fifty five"
"A hundred"
"If I eat it will I become as a great a hero as he is" one asked holding up a sack of money before other people began paying her for some of her other stuff
"Sold" she said taking the money sack tossing the hungry one the All Might figure "kid I don't know who you are but you're a great sales person for a human"
"That's an odd compliment for someone to give another human"
The woman smirked "Oh kid I'm no human" she jumps on the table "I'm Eda Clawthorne most powerful Witch on the Boiling Isles I'm respected feared and-"
"Busted" a hooded figure wearing a plague mask said slapping handcuff's the crowd of eager customers had taken off running for the hills on her "Eda Clawthrone your days of being a wild witch over" he said "and this kids coming along as well for being your accomplice"
"Oh wow I'm so scared" Clawthorne said sarcastically before she laughed "seriously you think you one coven scout can arrest me without any backup" Clawthorne twisted her finger in a circle shattering the cuffs before her tent and everything in it was packed onto her staff
Than she blitzed forward moving faster than Izuku could see grabbing him by the collar as she went before taking off into the air Izuku couldn't believe it they were flying
"You can open your eyes now human" Clawthorne said Izuku did feeling the wind against his face looking down he saw a forest with red foliage
"Where am I"
"This is the Boiling Isles in the demon realm every myth you humans have is some of our world leaking into yours Kappas Yukiona Giraffes"
"Giraffes" Izuku asked
"Yeah we got rid of those things ages ago bunch of long necked freaks" Clawthorne said as they landed in front of a house in the woods overlooking a cliff
"Not that I'm not grateful Clawthorne san but why did you save me" Izuku asked Clawthorne blinked down at him confused
"Why are you calling my by my last name kid and the heck is a san" she asked
"Well I'd just met you it'd be rude to call you by your first name without your permission" Izuku explained
"Okay call me Eda you've got my permission" Claw- Eda said with a shrug "two reasons one you made me a big payday of snails so I'm grateful two I need a human of your skills to help me with a job"
Izuku gulped
He wasn't sure he liked the sound of that
And that's the first chapter originally was just going to be a one shot but this was getting too long so I'll do two chapters
