Here we go
Origin of the Owl House
"So let me see if I understand correctly" Aizawa sensei asked "you followed a tiny owl into another dimension where a garbage peddler who associating with said garbage peddler landed you in trouble with corrupt law enforcement afterwards she extorted you into helping her with what could be a presumably illegal activity"
"Yes sensei" Izuku said
Aizawa rubbed his temples with an annoyed frown muttering under his breath the only words Izuku could hear were 'Miss. Joke North Korea and irrational' Izuku was curious to ask but he got the feeling his homeroom teacher would not answer if he could
"Did you happen to learn why the denizens of said dimension banished giraffes" Principal Nedzu asked
"No sensei the information was lost millennia ago" Izuku answered Principal Nedzu looked disappointed that he wouldn't get to know the story behind that
"Please continue the story Midoriya" Vlad King said
Izuku nodded
"Fair warning what comes next will be difficult to explain" Izuku began
"Eda aren't you worried about that witch in the mask coming here" Izuku asked following Eda towards the door Eda scoffed with a smile and a shake of her head
"No way those coven stooges will never get through my top of the line security system" Eda bragged
Izuku wondered what kind of security system Eda had for her home and why was she so confident in it Eda tapped the door above the owl door knocker who looked at him blinking
"HELLO" the owl knocker said stretching out into Izukus face getting Izuku to scream falling flat on his butt
"What is that thing" he asked horrified
"My thoughts exactly" All Might agreed
"That would be Hooty he's a house demon and Edas security system" Izuku explained "he seems disturbing at first because he is but he's a good friend once you get used to him like a fungus you just can't get rid of"
"Like Nemuri or Yamada" Aizawa sensei muttered
"Password please" Hooty said in a loud obnoxious voice
Eda sighed in annoyance before poking Hooty in the eyes "leave the kid alone Hooty and let us in"
"All right all right ow" Hooty said retracting opening his mouth
Which was also the door
Wait was he the house
"Young Midoriya when you called him a House demon did you mean he was literally the house" All Might asked looking squeamish
"Yes and no" Izuku answered looking a little green behind the gills "trust me All Might it's better not to ask questions when it comes to Hooty"
All Might nodded
"What a interesting fellow I wonder if we could acquire a House Demon to be part of our security system" Principal Nedzu thought aloud
Izuku didn't know if that idea would be good security or would disturb the students
It depended on if all House Demons were as disturbing as Hooty
Izuku followed after Eda into the house it was very nice if he was being honest
"Welcome to the Owl House green haired kid where I get away from the pressures of modern life also the cops my exes people I've scammed and the Palms Sting mafia boss whose got a beef with me" Eda listed
"My name isn't green haired kid it's Midoriya Izuku" Izuku said bowing
"You said your last name first didn't you" Eda asked Izuku nodded "okay Midoriya well like I said I've got a job that a human like you with your quack will be really helpful"
"My quack" Izuku asked "oh you mean quirk wait you know about quirks"
Eda shrugged "sure of course I know about quacks I mean quirks humans started having them about a hundred something years ago why" the witch shrugged "don't know don't care happened way before my time"
Izuku nodded before he remembered she wanted his help because she wanted to use his quirk but he didn't have one
"Guess I can't help you than I'm quirkless I was born without a quirk" Izuku explained "sorry I can't help you with whatever you need help with"
Eda shrugged "meh don't worry about it you can still help" she said "you'll be more help than my roommate"
A roommate
With the way Eda described getting away from modern life he thought she'd be living by herself not with a roommate "whose your roommate"
There was a stomping that shook the ceiling
"You'll see in a second" Eda answered
"WHO DARES TO INTRUDE UPON THE LAIR OF I" a bellowing voice echoed a shadow emerged from down the hall coming closer and closer "THE king of demons" a small dog like creature with a exposed skull wrapped in a towel holding a rubber ducky in his paw
Izuku stopped noticing the dumbfounded looks on the teachers faces besides Nedzu Izuku sighed reaching into his pocket he pulled out his phone looking for a picture "this is King" Izuku said showing a selfie of King on his shoulders
Vlad King opened his mouth to ask
"No he's not actually the King of demons" Izuku answered
"Proceed" Principal Nedzu asked
"How did you do that" Izuku asked curiously pulling out a notebook and pencil "is it some kind of defense mechanism similar to quirks is it triggered by being exposed to water"
Eda blinked clearly having not thought of that
King blinked confused before possibly smiling "yes I don't know who you are but you clearly understand the greatness of the King of Demons
"King meet Midoriya he's going to help us with our little problem" Eda explained King nodded
Izuku looked up to Eda "I'd like to know what exactly this job is" he said trying hard not to stutter "and how exactly you earned that bounty"
Eda blinked "smart kid okay long story short the Boiling Isles are run by Emperor Belos he wants to control people using sigils that limit what kind of magic a witch or demon can use" Eda showed both her wrists showing there was nothing there "most of that bounty is because I'm what's called a Wild witch and I refuse to join a coven" Eda explained "as for the job the warden of the Emperors coven Warden Wrath stole Kings crown of power"
"What's the crown do" Izuku asked
"With the crown of power I'll return to my full power and nothing will be able to stop me from ruling the isles as the King of demons" King boasted putting a hand against his little furry chest
"Uh young Midoriya" All Might asked
"The crown of power doesn't do anything for him" Izuku answered "it's a paper crown from a Mighty burger"
"You've got to stop interrupting the story I have paperwork and patrol" Aizawa sensei chided
"You looked like you were going to say something too about breaking into a sovereign governments prison" Vlad King said deadpan
"Not particularly this Emperor Belos sounds like every other dictator" Aizawa grunted "what kinda of magic does the Emperors coven have available to them"
"That's what I asked"
"What kind of magic do the Emperors coven have access too" Izuku asked
"All of them"
"That sounds a lot like fascism"
"I don't know what you just said but it doesn't sound like a good thing" Eda said
"It's not it's really not" Izuku said
"Well moving on from that let's get going" Eda said "we're going somewhere fun"
Fun was not a word Izuku would use to describe the comformatorium not in any way at all Izuku watched as King happily wore a paper crown from Mighty Burger recruit a stuffed bunny to be in his army of darkness
"There's noting special about that crown is there" Izuku asked
"Nuh uh" Eda answered
"That's his normal form" Izuku asked "he doesn't turn into a super powerful demon king that can depose the Emperor
"Yep again" Eda answered as King wasn't paying attention to the conversation in the slightest
"Why are we here" Izuku asked
Eda sighed "look Midoriya King and I don't got a lot in this world but that crowns important to him so it's important to me" she said "after all us weirdos we got to stick together"
Weirdos stick together
All Izukus life he'd been weird either because he was in the 20 percent of people who were quirkless and he still wanted to be a hero because he liked talking about heroes and analyzing them
Izuku never had a friend like that
Kaachan wouldn't help him for any reason and that was the only friend he had

Before he could think about it he saw the towering figure of Warden Wrath "Eda watch ou-" Izuku didn't even get to finish his warning before Wrath cut off her head it landed in Izukus hands
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Izuku screamed
All Might did another spit take "good heavens Midoriya I'm so sorry witnessing the death of another person can be an incredibly traumatic and unfortunatley likely part of pro heroics but that's for licensed pro hero's not students "
The other teachers nodded even Principal Nedzu looked solemn and sympathetic for him
"Thank you All Might but that's not exactly what happened"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Izuku screamed as Eda looked up at him cross eyed with her tongue sticking out
Until she wasn't
"Ow" Eda complained "oh I hate when that happens"
"Eda you're alive" Izuku said happy and horrified that he was holding a talkimg head "how are you alive"
"I'm good kid this is just something that happens to witches when you get older" Eda explained
"Really"
"Really" Principal Nedzu asked
"No but that's something very private to Eda and she wouldn't be comfortable with me sharing" Izuku answered everyone nodded
"I knew if I stole your dogs toy you'd come to me eventually" Wrath gloated grabbing Kings crown crushing it
"No my crown" King cried upset Izuku felt bad despite not knowing what species King was Izuku could tell he was clearly a kid
Wrath grabbed Edas head by the hair "what are you even doing I never broke any of your dumb laws well you know in front of you"
"What I want owl lady" Wrath said reaching behind his back pulling out a bouquet of flowers "is for you to go out with me"
"What" Eda King and Izuku asked in unison
"What" all of his teachers asked in unison even Nedzu
"Uh Young Midoriya are-"
"No that's not a normal dating practice in the demon realm" Izuku answered quickly
"This Warden couldn't possibly think he could get away with being in a romantic relationship with a known criminal could he" Vlad King asked
"I don't want to know what he was possibly thinking Vlad sensei" Izuku answered
"You've always been able to evade capture" Warden Wrath said "I find that incredibly alluring"
"I'm disturbed by everything you're saying" Izuku said with a frown on his face
"Shut your mouth human" Wrath said "you'll be spending the rest of your miserable life in a cell for breaking into the conformatorium"Wrath threatened grabbing Izuku throwing him through the anti magic barrier Izuku landed by a some fireworks cobbled together with rope and a box of matches
Izuku grabbed both of them before making it out of the barrier just in time to see Eda spit in Wraths face making him drop her head
King caught her head before Wraths guards made spell circles purple slime golems rose up from the ground "abomination capture the Owl ladys dog"
"I AM NOT A DOG" King yelled out annoyed Izuku ran forward grabbing King rolling out of the way of a purple sludge creature
"That's incredible the ability to create robots out of sludge to carry out basic orders while the caster fights at a distance" Izuku muttered "the distance must be to protect the witch and allow them to maintain their concentration"
Izuku had to to quickly turn to dodge getting grabbed by another abomination
"Kid stop analyzing the amateurs and let's get out of here" Eda said "owlbert move your tailfeathers and bring my body"
Edas staff hooted grabbing Edas body before flying over to them King put Edas head back on her neck as they flew through the halls Warden wrath growled shooting fire out at the threw of them
Izuku saw the levers that would unleash the prisoners he'd seen on the way in
He hadn't been able to move the lever before but maybe he could with Eda "Eda give me a hand"
Eda looked at the levers and smirked "kid I'm liking you more and more" she said holding out a hand pulling the levers releasing the prisoners
"GO GET OUT OF HERE" Izuku shouted to the vampire looking woman
"Wrath will just catch us again" she said
"It's hopwess" the big nosed creature said
Izuku was really familiar with being hopeless everyone told him he should just give up that a quirkless kid like him would never become a hero and some times in his darker moments
Izuku believed them
"No he won't" Izuku said dropping off of Owlbert
"Kid what are you doing" Eda demanded but Izuku didn't listen he pulled out the fireworks lighting the fuse with a match before he rushed forward moving past the prisoners
"Kid" Eda shouted
Wrath charged ripping off his plague mask showing his large mouth and beady yellow eyes he roared "you won't escape me human" he shouted his arms turning into a swarm of tentacles that he used to propel himself forward his mouth had sparks of fire

"Kid" witches were shouting at him
"Midoriya" Eda shouted "Izuku"
'Now' Izuku thought seeing the fuse was almost at its end throwing the fireworks like an American football the firework rocketed forward Izuku did an about face he began running the other way as Wrath unleashed his fire
The fireworks exploded point blank in his face Izuku could feel the heat against the back of his legs see bright colors in the corner of his vision including a strange symbol of two interlocking circles
The vampire looking witch grabbed him tossing him to Eda who caught him
Were witches just really strong or was he just very light Izuku couldn't help but wonder as they zoomed away
Back at the owl house Izuku had been forced onto the couch by Eda who stuck something to the back of his leg Izuku had been expecting it to hurt but instead he felt a cooling feeling the burns going away
"I gotta say kid that was the dumbest bravest thing I'd ever seen" Eda commented "those three knuckleheads you saved were calling you their hero"
"They got out" Izuku asked he couldn't believe that he was being called a hero tears began to form in the corner of his eyes
"Yeah kid they got out" Eda said "hey what's with the face leaking"
"All my life I wanted to be a hero but people told me it wasn't possible because I didn't have a quirk" he explained tears beginning to fall "I never thought I'd be called a hero"
Eda scoffed
"That's dumb just because you don't got a quack"
"Quirk"
"Right quirk doesn't mean any jack squat shouldn't be what stops you from doing something" Eda said "look at me you saved me King wouldn't have been much help against Wrath"
"The King of demons admits nothing even if it's true" King retorted before smiling at the end Izuku wasn't sure since his mouth didn't move
Izuku sat up tears falling like a flood down his cheeks he rushed over and gave Eda a hug "okay what's with the horizontal arm thing"
"Thank you Eda no ones ever said something like that to me before" Izuku muttered Eda felt stiff but pat him on the head
"You're welcome kid" she said before breaking out of his hug "kinda surprised no one said that to you though don't think I didn't notice all your mutterings you figured out how most witches use abomination magic in a fight Kings 'deep voice' how you kept eyeing the fuse during your run towards Wrath"
Eda handed him his journal magically repaired "plus your journal all the stuff you wrote down on all these dweebs in tights with their quirks you'd give Lily a run for her money with how scary smart you are"
Izuku smiled in thanks he did have one question well maybe a hundred but he'd just ask one "hey Eda do fireworks in the demon realm always make symbols when they go off"
Eda and King looked at him confused so Izuku decided just to show them going to the blank page next to Mount Ladys drawing the symbol his finger brushing against the symbol once he was done
Before everyones eyes the paper began to glow ripping out of the notebook folding in becoming a ball of fire in his hands
Izuku naturally freaked out holding fire in his hands
"You just cast magic" Eda said wide eyed "humans can't cast magic"
"I I did" Izuku muttered in amazement "how did I do it"
"It must be that weird symbol you drew" King realized "you could burn your enemies and none would oppose you"
Izuku was speechless "I just cast magic" Izuku said the fireball disappeared
"Yeah you did" Eda said still amazed
"I don't know anything about magic" Izuku said before looking to Eda "but you do you could teach me"
"I ain't the teaching type kid there's probably some fire guy back in your realm who could teach you" she flat out refused
Izuku frowned before he smirked "that's too bad Eda I was willing to pay a fortune but if you don't want to be rich beyond your wildest dreams I understand"
"Beyond my wildest dreams you say" Eda asked looking curious
Eda was wide eyed her eyes glistening with wonder "it's beautiful it's wondrous it's-"
"Trash" King said looking at the massive junkyard miles and miles of garbage littering Takoba beach "no wonder your trash litters our realm you barely have any room in your own" King said before he spotted a new 'crown of power' which he grabbed putting on
"I can't deny it" Izuku agreed before looking to Eda "so is this payment enough"
Eda was broken out of her stupor "all this to teach you magic" she asked money signs practically in her eyes "kid for a fourtune like this I'd give you my daughters hand in marriage if you wanted"
"Ma-ma-MARRIAGE" Izuku stammered out blushing redder than a watermelon Eda and King laughed at him
"Nah I don't have any kids but oh man you should see the look on your face" Eda laughed at Izukus still red face "r
"So is that a yes on the magic lessons" Izuku asked
"Oh yeah kid" Eda said patting Izuku on the shoulder "stick with me and you'll be the most powerful witch in this realm"
"He'll be the only witch in this realm" King pointed out
"Meh semantics" Eda waved off Kings comment
"Wouldn't I be a wizard"
"Kid you don't want to be a wizard they're old weirdos walking around in their bathrobes with glitter in their pockets" Eda snarked putting her hand on his shoulder "a human witch heh who would have thought it'd be possible"
"And that's the story" Izuku finished "after that I'd go to the Boiling isles after school do some work for Eda we figured out the other glyphs and combinations as we went"
Izuku laughed "being the first to do something is not easy"
"And the titans blood" Vlad King asked
"My magic doesn't work without being in the presence of the titan" Izuku explained "which is the entire boiling isles"
"You have more than just one necklace" Principal Nedzu asked
Izuku nodded "yes several backups" he answered "it was not easy to find that much titans blood" he looked down "am I in trouble"
"I see no reason to punish you" Principal Nedzu answered "so long as you don't use your 'quirk' outside of school until you get your license"
Izuku nodded "yes sensei" he said before getting up walking out he let out a sigh of relief once he was out of the office
As he was heading out Izuku heard his phone ring seeing it was his cousin "hello Vee yes I didn't forget to get groceries on my way home no you can tell mom I didn't get into any trouble okay bye"
Hanging up he walked away
My name is Izuku Midoriya and I didn't know it at the time but that was my start to being one of the greatest heroes in the world
And thats the chapter and that's the story
I did not think this story would blow up so much in one day
So Luz does not make a appearance in this story I had no idea what to do with her so I just didn't include her
