Kakashi tiptoed as he entered their home.

He just came back from a mission and it's late. Sakura could already be sleeping at that hour, and he doesn't want to wake her up. As he rounded the couch in their living room, a smile graced his lips, and he carefully made his way to the couch.

Kneeling in front of it, just to the side of Sakura's face, he brushed a stray lock of hair from her face. "Sakura." he whispered.

Sakura stirred, slowly opening her eyes to find Kakashi's familiar presence. A soft smile tugged at her lips as she blinked away sleep.

"Kakashi?" she murmured, her voice carrying a hint of drowsiness.

"Hey," Kakashi whispered, his eyes crinkling at the corner as he smiled down at her. "Why are you sleeping here?" His hand ruffled his son's hair as he continued to sleep in his mother's chest.

Sakura carefully sat up, supporting Sakumo's head. "Well, Sakumo insisted on waiting for you. Well, he fell asleep, and I guess I did too."

Kakashi chuckled softly, reaching over to gently brush a strand of hair away from Sakura's face. "Looks like I have two waiting for me. I'm sorry for coming home so late."

Sakura shook her head, a warm smile on her face. "No need to apologize. We understand the demands of your missions. Besides, Sakumo was determined to welcome you home."

Kakashi glanced at their son, sleeping peacefully in Sakura's arms. "He takes after his mother, always looking out for me."

Sakura laughed softly, "Well, he gets that from his father too. He's been asking about you all day."

Kakashi's gaze softened as he looked at his family. "I missed you both. How was your day?"

Sakura shifted slightly, making room for Kakashi on the couch. "It was good. Tsunade checked up on me today, and drug was flushed completely out of my system., finally." She sighed. "Good thing you came home just in time for his birthday."

"My boy only turns four once. I can't miss it." Kakashi said.

"Well, that depends." Sakura refuted.

"Hm?"

"I mean if this is another boy then you'll get to attend another birthday. But if this one is a girl, it's a new experience for you I think." Sakura cheekily answered.

"What do you mean?" Kakashi asked.

"Well, Tsunade-sama checked me out earlier, not just to see about the experiment. But also because I'm haven't been feeling well for the past weeks." Sakura explained. "Turns out, we have another kid on the way."

Kakashi stared at her dumbfounded. He just stared without saying anything, and Sakura started to fidget. "I know we didn't discuss about trying for another kid, but you never told me about taking my contraception too." Sakura nervously explained. "So, I didn't. Are you mad?"

Kakashi's initial shock transformed into a wide, genuine smile. He couldn't find the words for a moment, but when he did, it was with pure joy. "Mad? Sakura, I'm not mad. I'm... I'm overjoyed! Another one? That's incredible news!"

Sakura, relieved by his positive reaction, smiled brightly. "You're really okay with this?"

Kakashi pulled her into a tight embrace, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "More than okay, Sakura. I'm thrilled. Our family is growing, and I couldn't be happier about it. I love you, and I love our little family."

Tears of joy welled up in Sakura's eyes as she hugged him back. "I love you too, Kakashi. Thank you for being so understanding."

Kakashi leaned back to look at her, his visible eye crinkling with warmth. "Understanding? Sakura, this is the best news ever. I can't wait to meet our new addition."

As they sat on the couch, embracing the happiness of the moment, Sakumo stirred and yawned. His grey eyes slowly opened, and he looked up at his parents with a sleepy gaze.

"Mama, Papa..." he mumbled, still half-asleep.

Sakura chuckled, ruffling his silver hair. "Hey, Sakumo. Papa just got home."

Sakumo wiggled in Sakura's hold as he outstretched his arms to Kakashi. "Want Papa." he demanded.

Kakashi chuckled, gently lifting Sakumo into his arms. "You want Papa, huh? Well, here I am." He planted a soft kiss on Sakumo's forehead.

Sakumo, now fully awake, snuggled against Kakashi's chest. "Missed Papa," he mumbled, his small fingers clutching the fabric of Kakashi's vest.

Kakashi's heart swelled with warmth as he held both his son and his wife close. "I missed you too, Sakumo." He whispered, holding him closer to his chest. "Are you a good boy while I was gone?"

Sakumo nodded, his sleepy eyes widening with excitement. "Yes, Papa. Mama said I was a good boy."

Kakashi smiled down at him. "That's great to hear. Now, let's all go to bed. It's late."

Sakura nodded, and together, they made their way to the bedroom. Sakumo, still half-asleep, nestled between his parents as they settled into bed. Kakashi, holding both his wife and son close, felt a profound sense of gratitude and contentment.

In the quiet of the night, Kakashi whispered to Sakura, "Thank you for giving me more reasons to be grateful every day."

Sakura smiled, her hand intertwining with Kakashi's. "I'm grateful too, Kakashi. For you and for our family." Sakura whispered back, her eyes reflecting the depth of her love.

"Wuv you, Mama, Papa." Sakumo whispered in his sleep.

Kakashi pressed a soft kiss to Sakumo's forehead, then to Sakura's. "I love you both," he whispered.
