Sarah and Kiara are setting up for her parents anniversary party. "So what did your mom want to talk to you about" Sarah said as she finishes blowing up the balloons, "to stay away from JJ" Sarah scoffs "like that's gonna happen" "I know right!?! If she would just try and get to know him she would see what an amazing person he is" Sarah smiles at her lovesick friend, "anyways. Have you talked to John B yet?" "Nope" "well you guys will make up" topper walks up to them "hey! Setting up for the party tonight" Kiara just walks away.
the party is in full swing!
Kiara and Sarah have been hanging out the entire time until her dad asks her for a dance. She's dancing with her dad when she spots John B talking to Sarah she smiles knowing JJ can't be far. After she and her dad finish the song she goes looking for him, after a few minutes she sees him hiding behind the fence "JJ?" he sits up "hey kie I uh wanted to talk to you but didn't want to ruin the festivities" he points towards her parents, "you ok?" She says seeing the distress on his face "uh no not really. Big John got nabbed" Kiara's eyes widen "nabbed what do you mean nabbed?" "Taken kidnapped. So we are putting together a whole rescue mission to South America" he says "ok one step at a time jay" she says putting a hand on his arm, "John B" they hear Sarah scream, they both look towards the noise to see topper on the ground, "JB" JJ yells grabbing him before he can throw another punch, "whoa whoa whoa" JJ holds him back "take a breath, you of all people know violence is not the answer" he says slowly pushing him away, "Jage get John B out of here" Kiara says and JJ nods and says "Sarah drive Topper to the hospital. Kiara can you go with her" Kiara nods "if you can't calm him down call Cleo" JJ nods, "call you when we get to the hospital" she wants to kiss him but doesn't.
Kiara is driving to the hospital when she asks, "what the hell happened" Sarah sighs "topper was an idiot that's what happened" Topper groaned "I didn't think he would punch me" "well you said 'your lucky John B she's great in the sack'" "what!?!?" Kiara said shocked "I'm drunk and mad" "well one we never had sex, and two you know that's no excuse" Kiara sighed "did you text his mom?" She asks Sarah "yep" "then we can just drop him off" Sarah smiles at her best friend.
they drop Topper off then head back to the wreck.
"ready to be yelled at" Kiara whispers to Sarah, Kiara's parents sat them down and Sarah explained, Anna sighed and said "I would have done it" then Mike says "Anna! We are trying to get our daughter on a better pa-" "yeah I know but trust me when I say he did the right thing. Probably gonna go to jail but" "shit" Sarah says now realizing what this means for John B, "Sarah, he's gotten out of jail for worse" "yeah but that time he didn't do anything" Kiara rubs her back soothingly, Kiara's parents go to get the girls water. JJ walks up "hey so JB is being watched by Cleo" he says sitting next to Kiara, "took awa-" Kiara starts but JJ interrupts "yes I drove the Twinkie here actually so" Sarah stands up saying "I gotta pee" "thanks for the info" JJ says making Kiara snort. Her parents come back from getting water but they don't realize, Kiara turns towards JJ, "you ok?" She asks and he nods making Kiara know he's not "you know it's ok not to be ok" she says and he sighs leaning back, "I just wish he wouldn't do stupid shit anymore" Kiara knows it's petty but she says "now you know how I feel" he looks at her and says "we still on this" she scoffs "yes actually we are, you apologized for my dads money clip but you never apologized for trying to get yourself killed" "look I wasn't trying to get myself killed" "no but you don't care if you do" she stands up getting angry, "I'm just looking out for my friends!" He says standing up as well, Kiara's mom puts a hand on her shoulder saying "now let's calm down" she doesn't hear her though, "you don't think about that the things you do affect people around you, and don't you dare say I don't care" he takes a deep breath before saying "I don't like talking to you when your upset so" he walks away and she lets him knowing he's right. She sits on the couch and groans, her parents see Sarah and walk away to let her console Kiara. Kiara rests her head on Sarah's shoulder once she sits down, "we fell in love with stupid men" Sarah says eliciting a laugh from Kiara "but they are the best" Sarah says and Kiara adds "and hot" making them both laugh "so I'm a little drunk so want to go to sleep" Sarah asks and Kiara nods.

Pope asks "yeah" she takes out her phone and Pope snatches it "that was rude" she follows them down the stairs, "what are we even looking for?" It's a letter Denmark tanny wrote to his daughter" he hands her the letter and Cleo says "we found it last night, family heirlooms and tings" Kiara smiles at them seeing the way Cleo looks at Pope "we think we found a connection to the idle, look check this out" he shows her a paper and the phone, "see the kings sun glyph here" "yeah" "it matches the one in the painting at Singhs House" pope says and Kiara responds "couldn't that just mean it's pretty common" he then says "actually, no. These glyphs are Kalinago which has never been deciphered" "never" Kiara asks "never ever" Cleo says, then Pope says "never ever, some people believe that the captain of the San Jose actually found somebody who knew how to translate these glyphs, because he found el dorado" "the priest that talked to Denmark Tanny, that was on the royal merchant" "exactly! Every glyph in this letter is in the artifact, this isn't some this isn't some Rosetta's stone for kalinago, this is a direct translation key for the idol" Kiara is in utter disbelief when Cleo says "and we can use this to save Big John" Kiara sits up and says "we need to get this to John B like yesterday" they start walking out when her dad asks "hey! Where are you going?" "Oh just to the break, there are some killer waves" she lies and her dad lets her go, little did she know he had heard the entire conversation.
They try to find John B but can't, then Sarah texts saying meet at the chateau.

they are all hanging out, Cleo and Pope are playing cards Sarah and John B have disappeared into their bedroom and JJ was watching Kiara play the ukulele, Pope and Cleo leave the room so JJ sits down to say "hey uh kie?" "Yeah" "I am sorry about yesterday it's just hard to believe you care about me" he says and she nods "I shouldn't have yelled" she says then adds "and we shouldn't stay a secret" "what? But" "no buts, I love you jay and I don't care what people think or if it's the right timing, because with our life it's never the right timing" he smiles "I love you too" she smiles "I know" "did you just Star Wars me" he says leaning in "maybe" she closes the gap and kisses him, they pull apart after a moment to see Pope and Cleo staring at them with smirks on their faces "I knew it! You owe me 50 bucks" Cleo says turning towards pope, Pope smiles then says "so when did this happen" JJ then says "how much of that conversation did you hear" "oh all of it" "then about a week" JJ sees something behind Pope "what is it" Kiara asks and looks where he's looking "that's a fire" JJ says "get them!" He says pointing towards John Bs room.
"how do we get out" the fire is surrounding them now "the window" Pope points out, it's the best option, Sarah and John B go first then Pope and Cleo, "alright go Kiara" "you go first" "ugh Kie now is not the time" she groans and climbs out JJ right behind her.
they all sit on the ground watching it burn.
they are sitting on the dock when JJ randomly says "oh John B me and kie are dating" Kiara just shakes her head at her boyfriend's bluntness "what?!?" "Yep."
they talk for a bit before everyone starts to leave, "I'm gonna go pack some stuff and break the news to my parents" Kiara says and runs up to JJ, "hey wait up." He stops "see you in an hour" she says and he smiles "see you then" she leans in and kisses him then says "I love you" "I love you too" they go there separate ways.
Kiara is practicing what she's gonna say when a white van drives up, "Kiara" the man who gets out of the car says, she starts to walk faster to her door "I'm not gonna hurt you Kiara" "uh no thank you. Stranger danger" she knocks on her door, no answer, again, someone answers but it's not her parents, she backs up and runs into the other guy, her parents pop up "they say kitty hawk is the best" "what no. I can't do this right now" the men pull her by her arms as she try's to run "you can't send me to that coo coos nest" Kiara says but her parents just say more things like "we are sorry. This is what's best for you" she try's her hardest to get away from the men, kicking and screaming and her parents just watch her, the men throw her into the back of the van and close the door. She screams for about 15 minutes then gives up. No one can hear her. No one knows where she is.
