Prologue: Returning to Our Hometown.
April 6th, 2009 5:30 PM
"Man, i can't believe we still don't have any clues of where my sister is."
I, Takeru Yuki, 15 years old, having short black/sliver-ish hair, honey colored eyes and a Sophomore in High School, grumbled out loud. I'm wearing our new school's uniform. Tied to my left hip is my seathed kendo wooden katana (Which hides a real katana) that i can wield with one hand. I'm currently with my older brother, Makoto Yuki, 16 almost 17 years old, having blue hair that covers one of his eyes, blue eyes, who is a Junior in High School, also wearing the same uniform as me, in my mission to find my long lost big sister, Ai-neechan. You've problably wondering since when this search have started, but that's a story for another day.
"...Can we get going now?" Makoto said without a care in the world.
"Why are you always like this, Nii-san?! Don't you EVER feel happy?! Other than saying the usual 'I don't care' most of the time?" I scolded my brother. But he ignores me and casually says:
"I don't care."
"See?! You're doing it again! *Sigh* Well... We've got one last place to try."
"And that is...?"
"Our Hometown, Tatsumi Port Island, the same place where i last saw her, and the place that our Mom and Dad died 10 years ago."
Makoto for a split second was surprised at what i just said. but he quickly regains his normal, careless, and expressionless face.
"...Whatever."
'Why is my brother such an emo'... I mentally grumbled. We then made our way to the Subway Station, where we waited for the next subway to take us back to our hometown.
Unrelated to our "brother bonding", Elsewhere, a girl in a dark dormroom is seen breathing heavily and pointing what it looks like a gun to her forehead. Was she trying to kill herself? Or was she trying to prove a point? Nevertheless... she just gave up and tossed the gun-like thing to the ground, still feeling nervous and scared.

We're currently on the Anehazuru, one of the fastest subways to get to Iwatodai Station. I'm currently seated in one of the open seats, staring at the picture of my sister.
She's got blond hair, blue eyes and she's wearing a weird-looking type of headphones. She also has a face expression akin to a robot, or an Android. While brother is in the seat across from mine, listening to music on his MP3 Player.
'Ai-neechan... Where are you? it's been 10 years... I hope you're safe...' I sadly think to myself, worring about her.
And after that, when i have decided to take a little 3-minute nap, when my eyes just closed i saw in my mind what it looks like to be a blue- no, a Velvet butterfly. If i was awake, i could have seen my brother seeing the exact same thing. What could that possibly mean? I have to check my tarot card collection later. Yes, i have a tarot collection, and a little experience in Fortune Telling. But i'm only interested in the 22 Major Arcana. After my very short nap, and realizing that we've arrived at the station, the both of us exited the subway.
"Well... home sweet home, i guess..."
"Yep."
"What time is it, Makoto-Aniki?"
"Let me check..."
Makoto pulled out his flip phone, to check the time.
"It's almost midnight. We better hurry to our dorm. We both got school tomorrow."
"Right."
But when we started to walk, the clock striked twelve. Suddenly, the lights of the station where turned off, and Makoto's MP3 Player stopped working. We both stopped in our tracks to see what was going on.
"That's weird, A power cut now?" I stated, feeling a little confused.
"If that was a power cut, my MP3 wouldn't stop playing." Makoto said matter-of-factly.
The two of us decide to ignore that, and we started to go down the stairs. But we get to the bottom, we sense a very strange, but familiar, (at least to me...) atmosphere. the sky and the moon where green, instead of the usual dark blue sky. Also there is a large pool of blood, surrounded by coffins.
"Aniki... What's going on?" I'm starting to get a little scared, but kept my determined face.
"I don't care."
"Of course..."
We then made our way to the Iwatodai Dorms, which was next to the strip mall. My brother is checking the pamphlet with the dorm address and it had the symbol of our new school, Gekkoukan High School.
"Man, these coffins and pools of blood are freaking me out. Are we there yet?"
"We're here."
We then stopped in front of a big building. This must be the Iwatodai Dorms, the place we'll be staying for this year.
"You go first, Aniki." I encouraged my brother to open one of the double doors.
April 7th: 2009 12:05 AM. Dorm, 1st Floor, Lounge
We've entered the Dorm. I look around the place, and it seems pretty normal. It had a couch, some chairs and a TV. No green lights, no blood, no coffins, nothing. Just a plain, old and very beautiful lounge.
"Wow... Check this place out! This is where we're gonna live for this year? Awesome!" I exclamed with stars in my eyes.
"Don't get too excited, T.K." Makoto lazily said, while taking off his headphones.
"Oh come on, Mako-Bro! Can't i at least take my time looking around?"
"You're late. I've been waiting a long time for you two."
I then jumped, hearing a voice that was unfamiliar to me.
"Aniki, did you say something?"
He shook his head no. then we looked to our left to the registration counter and saw a blue-eyed boy in a black and white strip pajama staring at us.
the boy then snapped his fingers, and with a creepy smile says:
"Now if you want to proceed, please sign your names there."
Then out of thin air, a quill and a scarlet book appeared.
"It's a contract. Don't worry, all that says that you'll both accept full responsibility for your actions. You know, the usual stuff." the boy stated. the both of us are staring at the contract and the boy, dumbfounded.
"Let me read it." i volunteered.
"I chooseth this fate of mine own free will."
"Nii-san, i think we should sign it. I get the feeling that this is important."
Makoto nodded. then we both signed our names in the contract, and handed It over to the creepy kid.
"Here you go kid. But it's better for you to go home. i don't want you staying up this late."
Then the boy started to talk in an enigimatic way.
"No one can escape time. It delivers us all to the same end."
'What is this kid talking about?' I mentally questioned.
He then holds the contract over his face and, with the ever creepy smile on his face, he continues:
"You can't plug your ears and cover your eyes."
He then made the contract disappear, and the dorm lounge is slowly getting coated with the same green light that we sensed outside. as he slowly disappears into the shadows, he says one final thing:
"And so it begins..."
To be continued...
