They'd spent a good amount of time just having fun in the mall before they'd all split up to return to their homes.
So, currently seated within Naruto's home, Naruto and Sebun sat beside one another and watched TV.
"One more week, right?" She asked him.
"Yep. Hopefully Gosha-jiji will be at the kindergarten when I go later today," Naruto said as Sebun perked up. "I know someone who's gonna help us get near that bastard but I want Gosha to know ahead of time before he jumps the gun."
"I'll keep saying it but, please, be careful."
"I promise, we will. Besides, I've got a lot of things to do. Beating that hybrid-hating civet, go meet Tanala's Young Stars group, the Meteor Festival, pops's birthday, and then the Adler's going to be finished soon. It's a LOT."
The merino sheep tilted her head. "Goodness, you do have a LOT to do," she gawked at him as Naruto wore a sheepish grin.
"Yep, I'm just realizing this coming week is the last NORMAL week until Saturday," he said with a growing-nervous grin. "Oh no."
Sebun nodded.
Ridiculous things were coming indeed.

To say the next week had come and gone at ludicrous speed was an understatement.
At present, Naruto nodded to his phone before putting it back in his pocket.
Wearing a pair of black shinobi sandals, dark red pants, a black long-sleeved top, and a dark red cloak over his shoulders with the hood down, he adjusted the wrappings on his tail that kept it condensed into an almost feline-like form.
"Alright," he nodded to Louis & Sebun as they watched him throw up his hood. "I'm gone," he told them with a smile as he walked out the back door.
"Please, for all that's holy," Louis said nervously, an untouched book in his lap. "If the time where it's TOO dangerous comes, Naruto, please don't."
"I promise I'll make it out of this alive."
"That's not the right promise."
Naruto grinned at him. "It's the best promise."
Sebun released a shuddering breath before tightening her resolve. "Be safe, we all care about you too much," she told him as her heart kept ramming into her ribcage.
The hybrid nodded.
He slipped out the back before they watched his form shoot up and not come down before a blurring figure slipped past rooftops.
Louis noted his trembling digits before clenching them shut. "It's fine," he told himself as he held his head.
"I'll make you some tea, Master Louis," Sebun said with a quake in her step, the sheep stumbling towards the kitchen.

Gosha walked the streets in a thick black hoodie, dark gray sweatpants, and a pair of sturdy brown boots, his destination right before him.
Looking at the Kindergarten For Hybrids' front, and noticing no grafitti, he nodded before a figure popped out of the alley by it.
"Ready?" Naruto whispered as Gosha looked at him, his eyes finding the fox in shadow.
"Yes," he pulled up his hood before the two of them moved into the alley where a waiting Ten sat.
'Geez, even a geezer's down for this?' To be fair, he was clearly visiting often from the times she did see him.
Dressed as she was before, she waved them further in before the three were traveling the back alleys by her call.
They began running, powerful bodies having them jumping over fences, scaling walls, or even leaping over rooftops with ease.
'These guys are ridiculous!' The more Ten took them towards The Crossroads, the more she realized that there were actually some CRAZY strong animals outside of the gangs. 'One's the crazy strong pugilist kit and then you got a komodo dragon,' who very likely knew how to apply his poison.
This was a terrifying duo.
Still, she focused on their location as they dropped down into an alley.
"Alright, so the first thing to tell you? Don't try to be chatty with anyone," Ten said to the nodding two. "Two, so, Deshico might have been upping his bodyguard game. He's apparently gotten a hold of a few of the Madaragumi."
"It won't matter," Gosha said. "Just a few jaguars won't do anything."
"Okay, damn," was this old lizard really that tough? "Yeah, well, that'll have to be seen, old man."
"Anything else?" Naruto asked as they walked into… The Black Market. "Tsk, I hate this place."
"Same," Gosha nodded.
"The only two things I say are this," Ten said as they walked past stall after stall of herbivore meat. "One, sorry, but anyone who tries to say we know each other is going to learn how 'scared' I am of you two," she began as Gosha gawked while Naruto chuckled sheepishly. "Second, there will be guns and swords."
"I'll handle the guns," Naruto said.
"Naruto-kun, I'm not so sure that's a good idea," Gosha said worriedly before getting a chuckling fox boy for his troubles. "?"
"Go-jiji, trust me, I've got this."
"You might not have watched the full view of the bank robbery he was in," Ten said. "This kit's not afraid of guns, at all."
As they made it past the 'food' portion of the Black Market, a 'line' that was almost half a mile long, they made it to darkened alleys and a large intersection.
"You wanna go to the roofs and you'll find a forest maybe two miles that way," she told them as she leaned against a wall. "The issue is, well, you'll be going near the shishigumi's territory so don't be seen. After that? It's a shopping district and then a set of stairs down towards his place in the woods around the city's limits."
"Alright, thanks," Naruto said with a small bow as Gosha nodded, cupping his chin.
"Didn't you say there would be a third?" The komodo dragon asked before the three perked up at a small figure coming out of an alleyway.
"I'm here," Betty said with a smooth-out of her thigh-length black dress, her talons clicking against the stone path. "Come along, I'll take you all the way to him the quiet way."
"You good?" Naruto asked her.
"Yes, it was just a bit rough but you paid me well enough to rest in comfort, Naruto-sama."
Ten crossed her arms with a raised brow. "The hell is this?" She asked the male hybrid.
"Just some work-related things, you know?" Naruto said sheepishly. "Alright, thanks, Ten."
"Literally don't mention it, I'm not looking to get a rep for helping take down folks unless you're down for making that a reality. If you're ever up for destroying the other gangs and leaving mine be? Let me know."
She walked off, disappearing back into the Black Market.
"Can you trust her?" Gosha asked.
"I can read people's emotions pretty well, jiji, Ten's good on this one. I don't think she's a fan of this Deshico guy's ops, either, but she's deeper into this stuff," Naruto said. "Betty, let's hit it."
The eagle-civet nodded before flapping off her feet and taking her down a path.
They followed to the best of their ability to stay in the shadows, the three going through old broken apartments, skipping on rooftops, and rushing down some steps before reaching the edge of city limits.
Where the path was certainly well-trodden but more from people just walking more than actually construction.
It was a well-beat path with untamed forest on the sides, some more comfy-looking homes, and the smell of earth.
So, as they kept going, the more they trekked into the woods themselves and found another beaten path that started within.
"Deshico, Betty, is he hard-headed?" Naruto asked. "Like, how stubborn are we talking?"
"Very," Betty groaned. "Br-Deshico i-is stuck in his belief," she switched it up before slipping the truth to Gosha. "I just don't understand him anymore, why go after children? Why not try and be diplomatic? Why is he so intertwined with the Black Market?" She frowned before sighing.
"I don't know how you're related to this man," Gosha began, rubbing the back of his neck before he glared at an opening in the treeline. "But I'm going to be blunt, we will beat him black and blue when the time comes."
Betty released a sigh before nodding. "I… I understand."
"I'm still sorry."
"You're protecting both family and children, to get a 'sorry' for that would make me a horrible animal."
They stopped by the opening and peeked up to the path outside.
And the groups of jaguars strewn along the path in large war-like tents raised enough concern.
"Dammit, how long have they been working for him?" Betty wondered in disbelief. 'We need a plan-'
Naruto and Gosha strode forward as they cracked their knuckles.
Her jaw dropped as all the gang members perked up before grinning maliciously and getting up to surround the two.
"Bring out Deshico," Naruto ordered.
"Hmm, you're that little brat, aintcha?" One leopard among them all said as his men parted for him.
Wearing a white kimono and pants like all his subordinates with a black sash around his waist, this leopard was the tallest of them with a white hat sitting atop his head.
Wielding a blade almost as tall as he was, he walked up to the two with a toothpick in his mouth.
"Hmm, looking at ya up close, yeah, you're good," the man said with a cupped chin. "Kid, I'm giving you two a kindness. Leave this be, worry 'bout your own life, and stop messing with guys like us," he added as he prepared his blade.
Naruto released a small breath.
The next moment, the Madaragumi leader barely blocked a fist that caused his bones to creak as he went flying into some of his men.
"ATTACK!" Another roared as they rushed in, blades in hand.
"Their leader's pretty tough," Naruto said to Gosha. "Be careful around him."
The first two men were swept off their feet before a reptilian claw slammed into the first and hit with enough force to crush all of them into the ground while Naruto dropkicked the two who jumped over their comrades.
He brought them down where they crunched into the earth before both invaders lunged at the rest.
The leader of the Madaragumi growled as he recovered only to find a pair of his men flying past him before they hit the ground, unconscious.
"What?!" His eyes snapped to the fighting duo, a komodo dragon and fox?! 'Did the Dokugumi send someone in to try and end us?!' He snarled before rushing into the fray.
Gosha broke through one leopard's blade and slammed his claw's palm into his chest, leaving him breathless before the reptile turned and raised both his arms with a flex.
The scales grew taunt and rebuffed their blades before he chopped across and hit both their necks, knocking them out.
'These kittens are strong,' the komodo dragon thought as he kneed one in the privates before he spun with a low tail sweep.
He sent that one and another pair off their feet but one jumped overhead with his blade raised.
And was sent flying due to the body of one of his comrades slamming into him.
Naruto pulled down on a tail before backhanding that leopard's neck, letting go and lunging low to slam his fist into another's ribcage.
The winded leopard gasped for air that wasn't there before collapsing as Naruto swiped another man off his feet only to flip back to dodge a downward cut.
The leader of the Madaragumi growled as he removed his weapon from the ground before holding it's back with one hand while aiming it at the blonde upside-down.
Naruto's eyes narrowed as it came down before his tail hit the floor and gripped it.
He spun sideways out of the way, alarming the leopard leader who quickly found a leg slamming into the side of his head.
When the man stumbled to the side, vision doubled, his last sight was the fox boy's fist.
Betty stared at the two as they went to TOWN on the gangsters all on their lonesome, her shock leaving her frozen as they systematically took down all thirty of the leopards without significant injury.
By the end? She looked at the two standing within a crown of unconscious bodies, their clothes slightly torn or ripped up.
All in all-What the HELL?!
"Y-Y-You guys are crazy!" She squeaked as she stumbled/flew over, her jaw still dropped. "How?!"
"We're just built like that," Naruto admitted. "All things considered, B, we've likely fought a lot our whole lives," he shot Gosha a raised brow.
"I won't lie, I did," the old lizard said bashfully. "Especially in my youth, this is actually rather familiar to me but that's for another time, we need to go and see the man behind all of this," he declared as they looked out towards a hill where a large building sat.
The Kopi Luwak Research Organization.
Walking up that hill towards the organization came with one last trial.
The sight of numerous bats in the nighttime sky was hard to miss for the lizard and civet hybrid's nightvision.
The number of presences was truly impossible for Naruto to miss.
Deshico the Civet grit his teeth in his office, chair turned to the window behind his desk as the door to this room was opened by the undefeated trio.
"So, you finally come to me," he turned with a displeased frown, a normal-sized civet that was maybe half a head shorter than Sebun's height. "Naruto Uzumaki."
Wearing black shoes, gray slacks with suspenders, a white dress shirt, and a black bowtie, he looked the trio over in disbelief.
"A-A komodo dragon!? Who the hell are you?" Deschico looked horrified as the hybrid and lizard came in with Betty at their back with a hidden camera before dropping large bags of the struggles. "Snff… You defeated all of them," he frowned softly as the two stood on either side of his desk. "You mix breeds continue to baffle me to this day."
"If you'd chosen a better life, you could have been someone who HELPED mixed breeds," Naruto declared with a frown. "You decided you wanted blood on your hands and decided children were your brightest idea."
Deschico scoffed. "You can't start with adults, that won't fix things," he frowned. "Getting rid of the source isn't how you solve social issues like these."
"So, you decided to harm children," Gosha declared ominously.
"I decided to make an example, yes."
There was silence as the two looked down at the obstinate civet.
"I know you're like all of them, those unknowing folks who just think 'lives are lives', well guess what? They're not, there are more than enough hybrids who become monsters because of their damn parents who couldn't figure out what it truly meant to have a child."
"And this was your first choice?" Gosha asked with a frown. "Murder?"
"You think I haven't researched mix breeds? You can't fix their issues, they're filled with instincts that will kill from the inside and then lead to unequivocal damage to those outside. Do you think that's the type of life for an animal to live? For them to be cursed?" Deshico kissed his teeth as he stared at Naruto. "You are a rarity, there are very VERY miniscule chances for hybrids to end up like you and you are already a shining case of a mutagen who beats so many odds."
"You stopped trying to help people because it was hard?" Naruto frowned. "Even if I was a rarity, even if I was some 1 in a billion chance, you saw my existence and still decided death was the option."
"... What are you talking about?"
That confused them. "The mole assassin?"
"I haven't sent any assassins. I needed to be sure of your failure but that time, shockingly, never came."
Then who was…?
Naruto considered that information before shelving it for later. "Drop this, drop the entirety of your hate for people who've never actually done anything to you," he frowned as Deshico growled.
"Excuse me?" The shorter male hissed. "You naive child, do you understand how this world works?! There is no mystical cure to hybrids!? You're setting them up for a hell they can't fix."
"But that's where you're wrong," Naruto whispered.
Deshico froze, confusion flying across his face, as the hybrid pulled out his phone and moved to his pictures.
He placed it down, confusing the smaller animal who looked at his looks.
"... What is this?" Deshico frowned while looking at the phone more and more, his confusion doubling as his tail twitched. "Who the hell is this kid? You had a child?!" No, HOW?!
That shouldn't have been possible!
Naruto pulled down his hood as Deshico stared at him.
"That's me when I was 4," the fox-deer said. "I look pretty different, huh?"
"..." The civet's silence was palpable.
"You're right in that I was miracle but that's not some mutagen, it's not something scientific," Naruto explained, confusing Gosha. "No, in fact, it's something downright magical. I'm not like other animals," he declared. "I'm likely a one-of-a-kind animal by all specs because I can feel and mess with things that aren't physical in animals. Hybrids and carnivores alike, the only type of animal I've never messed with the internal energy of is herbivores and I'm sure that'll come up one day."
His phone fell out of Deshico's shaking hands. 'No, that doesn't make sense,' the civet thought in horror. "T-That's not true, you don't make sense!" Deshico couldn't accept this!
It had to be a lie!
Naruto shook his head before taking his phone and swiping before showing Deshico once more.

Naruto showed that, Ruth's, Connie's, and many of the other kids he'd helped.
The more he saw, the more baffled Deshico became as Naruto finished up by showing a group picture with himself, the kids, Wala, and Gosha.
Naruto put his phone away as Deschico stared at him. "There's no shortcuts to helping people," the former shinobi told the dumbstruck civet. "You can't change people's hearts by trying to create fear, that's not how you change the world. You can only make good change by being your truest self and not losing sight of what's right."
The frozen civet flinched, his eyes trembling. "I… I had to…" He whispered as Betty looked down. "If I can't fix these problems, she will never recover."
Naruto considered his next words. "... No, anything you did here wasn't going to make anyone happy," he told him. "And whoever 'she' is, do you honestly think she was going to just accept the amount of blood on your hands?"
Deshico released a shuddering breath.
"Put an end to this, help people instead of trying to turn the entire world into your enemy. Because, trust me, the way you were going wasn't going to help anyone, much less yourself," crazy as this sounded? Naruto did feel for this guy.
Because he understood what someone who'd suffered a tragedy looked like, he knew what someone disillusioned with doing good was like.
But that didn't mean he was just going to let him off the hook, that wasn't going to 'help'.
"Turn yourself in and I'll have you do community work for Horns Conglomerate," Naruto declared, alarming the others in the room. "You're right in that there's no fix, at least, not one that everyone knows about," he pulled up his sleeve as Deshico's eyes widened in disbelief. "That's why we'll try to find one so I can reach everyone who broke down the barrier between carnivores and herbivores."

"I'm surprised," Gosha said as they took off into the night, just him and Naruto. "Why?"
"Because I know the look of someone who's suffered and is just lashing out," Naruto said with a frown as they landed on a roof. "Betty's his sister, too, so I'm hoping she can help him see the right way. Because if he makes a move after this, jiji, I'm going to find him in a day and jail him up no matter who's in the way."
"Hmm, you truly do remind me of my kind of pacifism," the komodo dragon said, confusing the blonde. "Pacifism is to be upheld by the strong, those who have power should show the world how to use it to not fight."
"Yeah, I get that," the fox chuckled. "I can see a lot of that in Legoshi-senpai, he's odd, he's awkward, but he definitely doesn't want to hurt anyone. We were training over the past week and he seriously has a problem with hurting me even if I'm much stronger than him. I think he'll really show you how his life's gone."
Gosha smiled as they took off once more, that lone figure on a higher 'perch' kneeling down on a water tower watching them.

The morning following their escapades saw Naruto smiling for Sebun as he and Louis sat at the main home's dinner table, Oguma staying over at his office for the day.
"S-So, everything's sorted out?" She asked in shock. "Naruto-kun, that answer is… H-How could you come up with it?" She placed plates of stir-fry veggies and omelets in front of the brothers. "I mean…"
"I know, it seems pretty naive, huh?" Naruto chuckled. "And, in a way, it is but I'm not like most animals. I'll face my mistake immediately and know where he is no matter where he goes, remember that."
"Right," Louis perked up as he held a cup of tea. "That esoterism is that convenient?"
"Yep, mind you, I had to go through a lot to learn how this energy sensing stuff worked, guys, but it's so much better to have power for good than not. Also, it helps me if I wanna find someone or protect people, speaking of… Anything about that lion guy?"
"No, Mr. Bulou's been keeping a check on things with Dr. Pyrus," Sebun frowned softly. "There's a single black car that keeps passing by on the even days, one that he says always parks at a street corner."
"I'm going to guess there's something up," Louis figured.
"Yes, the person in the car doesn't come out and, yes, is a lion."
"Hmm," Naruto considered her words, his slight bandages emphasized as he cupped his chin. "Well, the biggest thing is that we'll be tied up at school for longer now, especially cause the Adler's coming up and we'll definitely be busy for three whole days," he frowned deeply. "Oh, man, and then there's the Meteor Festival… I'm worried around those times."
"Well, Sebun can just come with us, father will be with his security detail around that time, too, and Dr. Pyrus will be with the staff," Louis considered with a nod. "All things considered, that should solve it."
"You fine with that, Sebun-chan?" Naruto asked.
"Sure, besides, I do work for your home so we can just 'expand' that meaning," she smiled. "Now, for now, what's the plan?"
"Prepare for the Adler and the Young Stars meeting. I'm even taking Louis and Juno-chan because Tanala said I could take a 'plus 2'. They're also into being Beastars so it fit."

The morning following his escapades, Naruto smiled as he walked the streets with the Kindergarten of Hybrids at his back, the mixed breed kids talking to themselves in excitement or looking around in awe as he pulled their large cart up and down the streets with a grin.
Wearing a sleeveless open orange hoodie, dark blue sweatpants, and his black ninja sandals, his pendant 'grail' sat around his neck in its nine-bar glory while he wore his jade wristband.
"I wonder what this makes us?" Naruto asked himself with a red-cheeked smile. "I hope I'm not gonna ruin it for her," he chuckled.
"Nii-chan?" Ruth peeked out before jumping onto the Uzumaki's back and climbing to his shoulders. "Do you have a girlfriend?"
"H-Huh? Uhh… I'm not sure," Naruto said after a moment of thought. "I am interested in Sebun, you know that sheep woman from two weeks ago?"
"Whoa…" The Leopard-Croc looked awed. "So you'd have super-hybrid babies?"
Naruto blushed before being confused. "... What would that make any kid like that?" He looked alarmed as Ruth snickered into his hands. "Ruth, you kinda hit me with something I never thought about. I don't know if any kids I have would be like you all or auto-normal, ya know?"
"Yeah, dad says he was confused on how you worked."
"Yep, that sounds about right."
They chatted in amusing increments, each of the kids taking turns hanging on his back or over his shoulders as they reached the spot he was looking for, a waiting goat standing outside of the restaurant door.
"Welcome, Naruto-sama," he said as the former shinobi grew sheepish.
It took them 20 minutes before being seated in the large open-area behind it, the kids all gasping or giggling at the menu, sunlight, and/or grass.
Naruto leaned back in his seat as Koiwa sat in his lap while reading his menu. "Pick what ya like, kids, your parents were alright with me doing this," he chuckled, the very center of attention as the kids murmured or focused. "And, remember, inside voices," he whispered as some of them covered their mouths or looked proud.
Notably, those were the animal kids who were mixes of stealthy animals: Ruth, a wolf-bear girl, a spotted hedgehog-mouse, and even a black jaguar boy.
'Animal sides seriously affect us all differently,' he thought with interest. 'Can Deshico work with my blood to affect just their bodies?' He wanted these kids to be as expressive as they wanted.
Naruto didn't want to take their 'free will', as animals, from them.
So, you could imagine his surprise when someone came by with a hum.
"Tem?" He looked at him, surprised, as the alpaca waved weakly at him. "... Come on, bud, my treat."
Getting a seat rather sluggishly, Tem sat beside him with one of the deer-horse children in his lap, his smile not reaching his eyes as he wore a long-sleeved black top, gray shorts, and a pair of black sandals.
"What's up? You look kinda… Rough," Naruto said.
"Haa… I-I took my shot," Tem said, alarming him.
"No way… Wait, no, I mean 'yes' way. Very 'way'," he added quickly as the kids giggled. "Like, I'm gonna guess she wanted you guys to remain friends, huh?"
"Yeah. Els let me down right, I can't be mad at her for not being into me but I've been bummed for the past three hours."
"I getcha, man, seriously. It's not really easy, love that is, but I think you can find your true-blue partner," Naruto smiled as Tem sighed but wore one of his own.
"Alright, thanks, I guess this is that kindergarten the others told me about," he said, looking at the short but smiling girl in his lap. "Seriously, there are a lot," Tem realized as Naruto chuckled.
They ordered their food before talking about upcoming topics.
"The Young Stars, I wonder what'll happen, no offense," Tem said while drinking a large helping of a Herb Smoothie. "Mmm," he swallowed while wiping his mouth. "If you're right about being in 'fighting condition', that's gotta mean they're gonna test you."
"Oh yeah, my life's not that simple," Naruto said with a tiger-cheetah girl in his lap, his tail waving back and forth in her entranced vision. "I'm expecting them to hire a master of martial arts to come in to take a shot at me. It's obvious that someone's gonna wanna piece of me when I get there."
"Wait, how long is it?"
"Just a couple of hours."
"Well, I'm hoping for the best, Naruto, seriously. I need as much support as I can get~," Tem cried as the fox-deer yelped.
"C-Come on, man, she's still your friend!" He said quickly.
"The friend zone?!"

The following evening, Naruto laid down on his couch, relaxed.
He folded his arms behind his head. 'This is nice,' he thought with a smile as he looked up at his ceiling.
And then found Betty and Sebun's faces coming into view, the sheep's fur still down from their week-ago mall trip.
"Hey," the hybrid said as he sat up. "Betty, is everything…?" Naruto asked.
The civet hybrid looked thoughtful. "I believe my brother is trying to come to terms with your words," Betty smiled. "But, in the end, I think he's thinking of doing better!"
"I'm gla-"
"And you, Master, need to be rewarded," Betty beamed at him as he froze before his head snapped in Sebun's direction, the merino sheep's embarrassed expression confusing the hell out of him. "Oh, yes, she knows, I know you two are dating but it'd be good to get this out of the way while showing you both how it works."
"D-Dating?!" Sebun blushed, confusing Betty greatly.
"Yes… Y… You are dating, right?"
"Um," Naruto blushed up a storm but his mind was taken by the question. "... S-Sebun-chan, would you be up for that?"
"?!" The merino sheep's eyes went wide as her jaw dropped. "S-Sure!"
"Wait, I-I thought there was progress!" Betty gawked at the embarrassed pair. "Ahem, perhaps this is good for you both," she said with a single eye closed and a gleam in the open one. "Yes, in fact, you're both virgins, aren't you?"
Sebun's choked as Naruto burned like a lamp.
"E-Easy there, Betty-chan, um," the hybrid looked horribly embarrassed.
"At ease, Naruto-sama," Betty beamed. "I shall give you both a thorough breakdown of how this works."

Sitting within Naruto's room came with several throbs in her core.
Naruto blushed heavily between them, the women seated on either side of him.
"H-How did this happen?" The fox muttered.
"Things are going to happen because you're both accepting of my 'appreciation' and how I helped your relationship," Betty said while patting his thigh.
"T-That barely counts," Sebun muttered.

He left him feeling like he'd 'lost'.
"H-How does he keep doing that?" Naruto slumped as Sebun pat his side.
"Louis-sama seems to derive pleasure from your oblivious nature," she said.
