Sonic X and Pokémon
At a city in the Kalos region, Knuckles the Echidna was sitting on top of a bucket. A newspaper blew onto his leg. He looked at it, showing a photo of both Sonic and Sally fighting Dr. Eggman. He grunted out of jealousy as he let go of it, resulting in it flying through wind again. He couldn't stop thinking about his duty to guard the Master Emerald. He grunted for a moment until he heard someone coming. "Huh?" asked Knuckles. He stood up on the bucket, seeing that it was Dr. Eggman. "What do you want, Eggman?" asked Knuckles.
"Please help me, Knuckles!" said Dr. Eggman as he suddenly went on his hands and knees. Knuckles was shocked by Eggman's plea.
"Huh?" asked Knuckles. Suddenly, Eggman grabbed onto Knuckles' hand, shocking the Echidna, causing him to gasp in surprise. "If we don't do something fast, Sonic and Sally could make us prisoners on this timeline forever! If we can gather all seven of the Chaos Emeralds, there's a fighting chance that we can somehow reverse the effect that sent us to the past and return to the future! Sonic knew he could use the Chaos Emeralds to warp himself through time and space. So he figured, if he used them, he could transport him and Sally to the past to fulfill her wish to see real life Pokémon. That's the reason he attacked 'Chaos Control'! He found out that I'd collected all the Chaos Emeralds to keep them out of his grasp! You know how reckless Sonic is! I was afraid of what he and Sally might do if they got a hold of the emeralds, so I set up defenses, but there was no stopping them! He was determined to push his selfish search for thrills and give Sally what she wants and all the way this time, no matter who got hurt! Finally, the two invaded Chaos Control, and to my horror, they finally achieved their goal! Sonic destroyed Chaos Control and sent us all here so that Sally can indulge herself with the Pokémon!" said Dr. Eggman.
"Sonic . . . Sally . . . they're crazy!" said Knuckles.
"I've changed my ways and want to live in peace but Sonic and Sally won't let me!" said Dr. Eggman. He blew into a tissue. Unseen by Knuckles, Eggman grinned, seeing his sob story was getting to him. "What can I do?! They won't even give me a chance to fix things! I want to get us back, but what I found one of the Chaos Emeralds, do you know what happened? Sonic snatched it from me, and said he and Sally are going to stay here forever!" said Dr. Eggman.
"That selfish hog and royal brat!" said Knuckles.
"Sally said that we can't leave cause she wants to be with the Pokémon and not marry Antoine Dumb-coolete. And Sonic actually agrees with her," said Dr. Eggman. Knuckles began to imagine Sally in a pile of Pokémon, laughing happily like a giddy little girl. She's holding a Pikachu in her arms before kissing it. "They thinks this timeline's a lot more fun than ours and if we don't agree, it's our tough luck!" said Dr. Eggman. Knuckles got very angry. "You'd think he'd be more concerned about his buddy?" asked Dr. Eggman.
"Sonic isn't my buddy! I'm sick and tired of Sonic turning everything into a game! And he's got Sally to play along with him! Either they gives us that emerald or I'm going to take it from them!" said Knuckles.
"Be careful! Sonic and Sally says they'll crush anybody who tries to get it back!" said Dr. Eggman.
"So then, a battle to the bitter end!" said Knuckles.
My chronic Sonic problems are over!, thought Dr. Eggman.
Elsewhere, in another city, Amy Rose was still sulking about how she wasn't with Sonic at the moment. A newspaper blew into her face. She yelped as she struggled to get it off of her. When she finally did, she saw something that infuriated her. If showed a picture of Sonic carrying Sally, bridal style and he was kissing her. And the headline read, "Sonic and his girlfriend, Sally foil Dr. Eggman again". Amy growled angrily before she ripped it to shreds. "They got it all wrong! I am Sonic's girlfriend, not Sally! She's not even real!" said Amy. She kicked a can in her anger. But the can hit somebody, who let out an "ow!" Amy's look of anger disappeared for a moment hearing the person. The person whom she kicked the can at was a tall boy with long, wavy purple hair and blue eyes. He wore a green hat that is similar to Cacturne's head, a blue shirt that had a cut rectangle which exposes his belly, a collared jacket and pants that were green in color with a darker zigzag pattern on both of his sides, a white belt with a yellow button and white-heeled shoes.
"Watch where you're kicking cans, you . . . whatever you are!" scolded the boy.
"I'm a hedgehog and the name is Amy Rose!" snapped Amy.
"Now what in the world are you bellyaching about?" asked the boy.
"Things aren't going right for me! I'm the girlfriend of a cute boy hedgehog named Sonic! But for some reason, he's always trying to find excuses not to go on dates with me! And now, the mad scientist, Dr. Eggman has hired this Pokémon called Zorua to create an illusion of some other girl named Sally. And Sally has poisoned Sonic's mind and he thinks Sally is his girlfriend and not me! And what's worse, Zorua's gotten everybody else on its lies. Eggman's trying to destroy my happiness by preventing me from dating and marrying Sonic!" complained Amy. She began to sob hysterically.
"Sounds like this Zorua's a real creep," said the Boy.
"Yes. I want to get rid of it, but since it's part Ghost-type, my attacks can't hurt it! The government says I'll be busted up if I try to hurt them. Zorua has poisoned the government too!" said Amy.
"I'll help you," the boy.
"You will?" asked Amy.
"Yes. I'm a type of Pokémon Trainer called a Pokémon Coordinator. So I have a Dark-type Pokémon that can take care of Zorua. We need to take it out once they're far from civilization," said the Boy.
"Oh thank you! I know you can prove that I'm Sonic's true girlfriend and save him from the evil spell that Zorua and Sally has put him under," said Amy.
"No problem. The name's Harley," said the boy. Amy smirked behind Harley's back.
"This time, you're mine, Sonic. I'll save you from that Zorua's evil spell," thought Amy.
(Insert "Gotta Go Faster" from Sonic X)
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go
(We see Sonic doing a Sonic Spin.)
Gotta go fast,
(Sonic uncurls and starts running.)

(Sonic runs to avoid hitting some cars.)

(Sonic stomps on the three robots, trashing them to pieces. He then continues running.)

(Some alarms of Dr. Eggman's base sound and two behemoths burst out of the ground.)

(Sonic runs out of a building, only to be launched by a Dr. Eggman spring trap.)
Without any explanation,
(We see Ash & Pikachu, Dr. Eggman, Tails, Sally Acorn, Knuckles and Team Rocket.)

(Sonic is fighting Metal Sonic.)

(Knuckles unleashes a furious flurry of punches. Sally gives Sonic a kiss on the lips, much to his pleasure. Amy watches in the background, green with envy. Sonic runs into a building, only to be chased out by a large robot.)

(Sonic dodges an incoming swipe from it.)

(Sonic and Pikachu are teaming up to fight Team Rocket's Pokémon. Sonic kicks Seviper in the face, while Pikachu Iron Tails Inkay.)

(Sonic gets netted by a cop, only for Sonic to drag the cop with him.)

Episode 8: Cracking Knuckles
Ash, Clemont, Tails, Rotor and Professor Sycamore was at the later's laboratory, studying the Chaos Emerald. It was hooked to special analyzing machine. "I still can't believe we got one of the Chaos Emeralds!" said Ash.
"I know you told us about what each power that each Emerald has. But does anybody know where they come from?" asked Clemont.
"Nobody knows much except that they're real powerful!" said Tails.
"I hope my analysis reveals something about its make-up," said Professor Sycamore.
"That's what we're all hoping. I haven't seen one since the one used by Naugus," said Rotor. Just then, one of the professor's assistants arrived into the lab.
"Professor, there is somebody outside of the lab," said the Assistant.
"Who?" asked Prof. Sycamore.
"She says she's an old friend of Ash," said the Assistant.
"Really?" asked Ash. It wasn't long before Ash, Pikachu, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie went to see who it was. It was none other than May, one of Ash's traveling companions from the Hoenn Region. She wore a different attire though. She now wore a scarlet tank top with a black undershirt, white short shorts with black lycra mini-leggings underneath, yellow and black ankle boots with orange soles, a red and white bandanna / kerchief, a yellow-and-green fanny pack and a white Mega Bracelet on her left wrist. "Hey, it's May!" said Ash.
"Ash, it's good to see you again," said May.
"You must be that Pokémon coordinator, May. Ash told me about you," said Serena.
"Who might you be?" asked May.
"I'm Serena, the current Kalos Queen of Pokémon Showcases and Ash's girlfriend," said Serena.
"Ooh. Brock would be jealous," said May.
"I'm Clemont, the Lumiose City Gym Leader," said Clemont.
"And I'm her little sister, Bonnie and this is Dedenne," said Bonnie.
"Dedenne," said the hamster Pokémon. Almost immediately after introducing herself, Bonnie got onto one knee and began her usual routine of trying to get a girl to marry her brother.
"You're very pretty. You're perfect for my brother," said Bonnie.
"What are you talking about?" asked May.
"Will you be my brother's wife?" asked Bonnie.
"WHAT?!" asked May.
"Bonnie, stop asking random girls to be my wife!" said Clemont.
"You need a wife. And she's the one!" objected Bonnie. Suddenly, Bonnie felt somebody yank her by the ear, hard. "OW!" cried Bonnie loudly. The one who pulled Bonnie's ear was May's little brother, Max.
"Oh no you don't! You don't get to decide my big sister's future!" scolded Max.
"Max! You're here too?!" asked Ash.
"That's right," said Max.
"Not the ear! Not the ear!" groaned Bonnie.
"Max, I see you're traveling with May again," said Ash.
"Yes. I was getting bored staying at home. I begged on my knees to be able to do cause I wanted to see new Pokémon," said Max.
"I'm Serena, Ash's girlfriend," said Serena.
"I'm Clemont. And that's my little sister, Bonnie whom you got by the ear," said Clemont. Max let go of Bonnie's ear, which was now swollen and red.
"You meanie! That wasn't nice of what you did," said Bonnie.
"Hey, I did it with Brock to keep him in order during our travels in Hoenn. So get used it," said Max coldly. Bonnie let out a huff.
"Hi, Pikachu. It's good to see you again," said May as she picked up Pikachu. She then began to hug Pikachu. The electric mouse cooed as May hugged him. "Have you found your own girlfriend like Ash?" asked May.
"Pika," said Pikachu, shaking his head.
"No? You think you'd get your dream girl by now. I mean, I remember your cuteness attracted some female Pokémon. And even human girls were infatuated by your good looks. I still remember when our mom went gaga at how adorable you were, covering your face in pink lipstick kisses," said May. She giggled, thinking about it.
"Pikachu swore off romance ever since he met this girl Snivy I caught in Unova. When it was still a wild one, she used Attract to force poor Pikachu to fall in love with her and kidnapped him. But luckily, we arrived to the rescue before she could force him to have his first kiss with a girl. After I defeated and captured her, Pikachu swore to never get into a relationship with a girl," said Ash.
"What a shame. Guess you'll never experience the sensation of sharing a kiss with a girl on the lips," said May to Pikachu.
"Ick," said Pikachu, cringing.
"So, what brings you two here to Hoenn?" asked Ash.
"I came to try out the Pokémon Showcases," said May.
"And what do you think about them?" asked Serena.
"They're not really as exciting as regular Pokémon Contests," said May.
"How do you do Pokémon Contests?" asked Serena.
"I can show you next time I participate in one," said May.
"We heard that you made some new unusual friends," said Max.
"What unusual friends?" asked Ash.
"I'm talking about that speedy hedgehog and his buddies whom you helped fight that Dr. Eggman creep. Can we see them?" asked Max.
"Uh, sure. But when you meet them, don't scare them in you excitement, okay?" asked Ash.
"We promise," said May. Ash and co. led May and Max into Professor Sycamore's laboratory.
"Two of our new friends are in the lab with Professor Sycamore," said Ash. Very soon, they arrived to where the professor along with Tails and Rotor were working at. "Hey, professor, Tails, Rotor, there's somebody I'd like you to meet," said Ash. The three then saw May and Max.
"Hello there. I'm Professor Sycamore," said Prof. Sycamore.
"Hi. I'm May, a Pokémon coordinator, champions of the Hoenn & Kanto Grand Festivals and an old friend of Ash," said May.
"I'm her little brother, Max," said Max. The two then saw Tails and Rotor.
"You must be two of those unusual new friends of Ash," said May.
"So you heard of us?" asked Rotor.
"Yes," said May.
"My name is Miles Prower, but my mother calls me Tails," said Tails.
"I'm Rotor the Walrus," said Rotor.
"We have other friends hanging around here," said Tails.
"So where are you guys from?" asked May.
"Are you aliens from another planet?" asked Max.
"We're actually from Earth in the future, which is called Mobius," said Rotor.
"How did you end up here?" asked Max.
"We were accidentally transported to the past by these seven gems called Chaos Emeralds. We got one already," said Tails. May and Max gasped in amazement at the sight of the gem.
"Guys! Guys!" said Bunnie.
"What's up?" asked Ash.
"Who's that?" asked Max.
"I'm Bunnie Rabbot, a cousin of Cream. I just saw a news report. It looks like they found another Chaos Emerald!" said Bunnie. She showed everybody a news report on TV.
"The strange energy spikes which seem to be coming from the Silver Valley area have played havoc with computers and machinery across the entire region. Investigators are looking into . . . ," said the reporter.
"I bet it's a Chaos Emerald," said Tails.
"You know, Silver Valley isn't very far from here," said Serena.
"Let's check it out!" said Ash.
"We should tell Sonic and Sally first," said Clemont.
"Pika," said Pikachu in agreement.
Sonic, Sally and Zorua were busy relaxing in the field of the laboratory where the other Pokémon were. Sonic was resting by a tree, with Sally in his lap and Zorua near Sally's leg. Sally was wearing her blue casual dress. "Hey, Sugar-hog, Sally Girl, you've heard the news?" asked Bunnie.
"Huh?" asked Sonic & Sally.
"Zorua?" asked Zorua.
"We're going to Silver Valley," said Bunnie.
"We think there's another Chaos Emerald," said Tails.
"Nah, we've been there before," said Sonic.
"We're trying to relax after helping Sonic catch his first Pokémon. I'm sure if Eggman attacks, you and the others can crack his shell with your Pokémon," said Sally.
"So you stopped there during one of your runs, huh?" asked Rotor.
"Yep, you guessed it!" said Sonic.
"Okay. But if we really need you, you'll have to come," said Bunnie.
"But how can we get there. We don't know if that interview you had has been made public yet. So we need to find a way to get around without you guys being spotted," said Ash.
"If I drive, I'm gonna get spotted," said Tails.
"What can we do?" asked Bonnie.
"Hey. I know. Zorua, can I count on you to come with them?" asked Sally.
"Why are you entrusting us with Zorua?" asked May.
"I can disguise the Mobians as humans. That way, you can avoid unwanted attention," said Zorua.
"Great idea," said Ash.
"Pika," said Pikachu.
And so, Zorua used his illusion abilities to make Tails, Bunnie and Rotor look like they were humans. They went to Silver Valley by train without any incident. On the way, Ash and May had time to catch and share about their adventures they had in the past couple of years.
Back at the lab, both Sonic and Sally were waking up from their little nap. Just then, somebody was approaching them. It was a short and humanoid black robot. He had a round head and stout body, with small arms and legs. He also wore a jetpack, white gloves, a belt with a large yellow "M" in the middle, and red boots. He also had a small, round, yellow eyes with irises, and a blue tongue. His ears were likewise large and protruded from the side of his head and were pointed on the ends. "Huh?" asked Sonic. The black robot landed in front of the two.
"Who are you supposed to be?" asked Sally.
"The name's Bokkun. I'm Dr. Eggman's messenger robot," said the robot. He got out what appeared to be a yellow TV monitor. He put it on top of Sonic's foot. "Message for you lovebirds. Here you go!" said the robot. He turned on the monitor and Knuckles' face appeared on it.
"Knuckles?" asked Sally.
"Sonic, I'm sick of all of your selfish stunts! This time, you've gone too far just to satisfy Sally's wish! I'm challenging you to a showdown!" said Knuckles. Sonic had a look as if saying, "Oh brother". "Meet me in Silver Valley in one hour, and don't be late!" said Knuckles. Bokkun began to back away for some reason. Then, Dr. Eggman's face appeared in Knuckles' place on the monitor.
"This message was brought to you by the Eggman Empire, which is not responsible for its content, except this part!" said Dr. Eggman. The television began to spark before it suddenly exploded. Sonic and Sally yelped as they got caught in it. Bokkun flew away, laughing rudely. Both Sonic and Sally were fried by the explosion. Sally look at herself in a hand mirror and gasped, seeing her appearance was ruined. Sonic growled angrily.
"Knuckles is gonna regret that!" said Sonic.
"If it's a fight he wants, then it's a fight he's gonna get!" said Sally.
Ash, Pikachu, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, May, Max, Tails, Bunnie and Rotor looked around in the valley. "Shouldn't there be a lot of people here if they found a Chaos Emerald?" asked Bunnie.
"Maybe something else caused the energy spikes," said Tails.
"I guess it must've been a mistake," said Ash.
"We can still have some fun while we're here," said Serena.
"We could take a hike in the mountains, or go swimming in the lake," said Tails.
"Or meet new Pokémon," said Max.
Suddenly, a gush of water burst forth in front the heroes, causing them to scream. The water subsided, revealing a large red-violet robot with an all-around glass encasing center. It had large construction digging claws for arms and feet and one large green eye on its top. The robot raised its arm, ready to strike. Everybody tried to run, but the robot scooped them up and trapped them inside its body. However, Ash, May and Zorua managed to avoid getting caught. "Pikachu, Serena, everybody!" cried Ash.
"Look!" said May, pointing up. Everybody saw Dr. Eggman arrive in his Eggmobile.
"Eggman!" said Serena. Dr. Eggman let out his evil chuckle.
"You rat!" said Rotor.
"You tricked them into broadcasting that news story!" said Clemont.
"I generated artificial energy spikes just like the ones made by Chaos Emeralds! It isn't my fault that those news hounds barked up the wrong tree!" said Dr. Eggman.
"I hate to admit it, but Eggman even had me outfoxed!" said Tails.
"Huh?" asked Serena.
"Well, his plan failed cos' we're out of here!" said Bunnie. She tried to use her robotic arm to try to punch the glass. But the glass was a type that was strong against robot attacks. Dr. Eggman laughed at Bunnie's futile attempts to smash her way out.
"You can't leave! I made E-47 Pumpty's glass strong enough to resist even your attacks, Bunnie. I need you in case my first plan to beat Sonic and Sally fails!" said Dr. Eggman.
"Sonic isn't here!" said Bonnie.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"He'll be here any second now!" said Dr. Eggman.
"Hey, Robuttnik!" said Ash.
"Huh?" asked Dr. Eggman. He looked down and gasped, seeing Ash, May and Zorua were not captured.
"You missed three!" sneered May. Zorua growled at Dr. Eggman.
"Rats! I guess I'll have to keep you three occupied so that you won't try to free your friends," said Dr. Eggman. He snapped his fingers and Metal Sonic appeared.
"What's that?" asked May.
"It's Metal Sonic, a robot clone of Sonic. He's very dangerous," said Ash.
"If you want to free your friends, you'll have to get through me," said Metal Sonic.
(Insert "Hoenn Wild Pokémon Battle" from Pokémon)
"With pleasure," said Ash. He was about to get a Poké Ball when May held out her hand.
"I'll take care of this one," said May, taking out a Poké Ball.
"Be careful," said Ash.
"Blaziken, I choose you!" said May. She threw the ball and her said Pokémon was summoned. Blaziken was a bipedal, chicken-like Pokémon. The majority of Blaziken's body was red with accents of beige, yellow, and gray. Behind its head, there were beige, hair-like feathers that continued downward and surrounded its chest and abdomen. It had a small red face with a V-shaped crest on its head. Blaziken's blue eyes were semicircular with yellow sclerae, and its mouth was similar to a hooked beak. It had featherless, gray hands with three fingers each, and three clawed toes that were not normally visible due to the shaggy, yellow feathers on the bottom of its legs. A female had a shorter mask and hair than a male. May's was female.
"Blaziken!" roared Blaziken. Blaziken then noticed Metal Sonic. "Something tells me you're not one of Team Rocket's robots," said Blaziken.
"I am not. I was built by Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Just because you're a Fire-type, doesn't mean you'll beat me that easily," said Metal Sonic.
"Bring it on, chrome dome!" said Blaziken as her fists ignited with flames.
"Ash, if Sonic and Sally are coming, you and Zorua tell them what's happening," said May.
"Okay," said Ash. And the two began to leave the area.
"Blaziken, start things off with your Fire Spin attack!" said May. Blaziken fired a fiery cyclone at Metal Sonic. The blue robot used his speed to dodge the attack. He then delivered a punch to Blaziken's face. After that, he fired his chest cannon. But luckily, Blaziken dodged the laser. "Blaziken, Blaze Kick!"'commanded May. Blaziken's foot began to ignite with flames. She then kicked Metal Sonic, delivering burning damage to it. Dr. Eggman gasped seeing how strong Blaziken was. "Okay Blaziken, use Fire Spin!" said May. Blaziken fired a fiery cyclone at her robotic foe. Metal Sonic seemed to have been trapped in the cycle. Bonnie gasped in amazing.
"Look at how strong her Blaziken is! If May's such a great Trainer, you should marry her, big brother!" said Bonnie. Max yanked Bonnie by the ear again. "Ow!" cried Bonnie.
"I told you to stay away from my sister!" snapped Max. Suddenly, Metal Sonic let out a golden energy burst that caused the Fire Spin to disperse. May and Blaziken gasped.
"Nice try," said Metal Sonic. He then executed his Emerald Dive charge, ramming Blaziken. May gasped. But Blaziken was still able to fight. And he and Metal Sonic continued to duke it out.
(End Music)
Up on the cliffside, Knuckles waited impatiently for Sonic and Sally to show up, with is eyes closed and arms crossed. Where's Sonic and Sally? They should've been here by now!, thought Knuckles. Then, his eyes opened as he sensed Sonic and Sally entering the area.
"Hey there, Knuckles!" said Sonic.
"You're late, slowpoke!" said Knuckles.
"Yeah, well, we stopped to enjoy the scenery!" said Sonic. Sonic held up a flower.
"This planet is pretty cool in the past! It's nice here!" said Sonic.
"And the Pokémon are wonderful. After seeing nothing but Ghost and pollution spawned Pokémon back at home, it's nice to see more of them. And some of them are very cute. Especially Ash's Pikachu," said Sally.
"Yeah, you'd like this world too if you weren't such a party pooper!" said Sonic.
"Enough talk, let's go!" said Knuckles.
"Oh relax, will ya?! We have all afternoon to duke it out, buddy boy!" said Sonic.
"I'm not your buddy and don't forget it, smart aleck! Now put 'em up! I didn't come here to sniff the flowers!" said Knuckles.
"That's your loss!" said Sonic.
"Knuckles, there are other ways to settle disagreements besides fighting," said Sally.
"You don't know what you're missing, but if you rather get clobbered by me . . . ," said Sonic.
"SHUT UP! Give the emerald you stole! OR ELSE!" yelled Knuckles.
"Your brain's even slower than your feet!" said Sonic.
Hearing that insult made Knuckles more furious as indicated by his growling. Sonic tossed aside the flower. Knuckles then charged at Sonic and attempted to punch Sonic. But Sonic dodged and he punched the ground instead, sending some rubble flying. Knuckles began to deliver more punches, but Sonic dodged them one by one. Knuckles punched a rock into pieces when Sonic dodged another attack. Knuckles ran toward Sonic before jumping at him to try to punch him. But Sonic dodged that punch by jumping out of the way and over him. Sonic then decided to fight back. He tried to do a swinging kick on Knuckles, but he dodged it. Sonic continued to dodge Knuckles' punches. The two jumped from rock to rock that were on a stream near a waterfall. Knuckles destroyed another rock. Sonic then began to run up a mountain with Knuckles in hot pursuit. He used his spikes to climb up the mountain. Sally could only watch as Sonic and Knuckles fought. Just then, Ash and Zorua approached Sally. "Sally, we got trouble!" said Ash.
"Zorua," said Zorua.
"What's wrong?" asked Sally.
"Eggman has captured everybody except Zorua, May and I. May is fighting Metal Sonic with Blaziken. What's going on?" asked Ash.
"Eggman has duped Knuckles and Sonic is fighting him," said Sally.
"We got to help the others. That should prove to Knuckles that Eggman's a liar," said Ash.
"Right," said Sally. Ash, Sally and Zorua began to head back to where the Pumpty robot was at.
"Not so fast, trickster!" said a voice.
"Huh?" asked Ash, Sally & Zorua. It was Amy Rose Hedgehog.
"Oh, it's you," said Zorua, looking annoyed.
"What do you want? We don't have time for you. Sally and I have friends to rescue from Dr. Eggman to prove to Knuckles that Sonic isn't the bad guy," said Ash.
"Sally and Zorua are going nowhere!" said Amy.
"What?"'asked Sally.
"Like I said, Zorua is nothing but a slimy trickster hired by Dr. Eggman to create that fake girl to come between Sonic and me," said Amy.
"Surely you would've learned that I'm real considering somebody got a blood sample from me and showed it to you. That's right, Prof. Sycamore got a call after Shinji interviewed me and my friends," said Sally.
"It's fake! You are fake! And your so called history with Sonic is fake! All of it!" ranted Amy.
"What you're saying is not true. Sonic didn't meet Zorua until he and Sally rescued him from the original Dr. Robotnik. In other words, what you're saying is a bunch of hooey," said Ash.
"So, Zorua has poisoned your mind too! But it all ends today! Zorua, you better say your prayers, cause your days of tricking my Sonic into dating a girl who doesn't exist ends today!" said Amy.
"You do realize that if you try to hurt me or Zorua, you're gonna get locked up again," said Sally.
"Not as long as we're not in the city. No city means no witnesses. And besides, I'm not the one who's gonna put Zorua in his place, he is," said Amy. She stepped aside and Harley along with his signature Pokémon, Cacturne stepped forward. It was a humanoid, bipedal Pokémon that resembled a green scarecrow made of cacti. Its face had two eye holes through which yellow eyes can be seen, and six smaller holes representing a grinning mouth. It had numerous spikes along the length of its arms, legs, and around its neck. A pattern of green rhombi extended down the front of its body. A female had a large dark green rhombus above a smaller one, while a male had three small dark green rhombi. There was a triangular, dark green feature on its head that resembled a hat with spiky tips.
"Ash, who is that?" asked Sally.
"It's Harley, a Pokémon coordinator and May's sniveling rival," said Ash.
"Amy told me about how that Zorua has been stealing Amy's happiness. So I've come to put that Zorua in its place. Once I defeat it, Sally will disappear and Sonic will be free from its influence. Since my Cacturne is a Dark-type, it'll crush Zorua easily," said Harley.
"I'm not a fake girl. I am real. As real as the Pokémon! I've known Sonic since we were children! Amy is lying to you!" said Sally.
"I'm not falling for that! Prepare to disappear!" said Harley.
"Cac," said Cacturne, taking a battle stance.
"Ash, go help the others. I seems the only way to get him to see reason is knock it into him!" said Sally.
"Right," said Ash. Ash then left to save his friends.
"Cacturne, use Pin Missile!" said Harley. Cacturne fired pins from its arms at Zorua.
"Zorua, dodge it!" said Sally. Zorua jumped out of the way of the pin missile attack. "Zorua, strike back with Sludge Bomb!" said Sally.
"What?!" asked Harley. Zorua fired a large ball of dark purple sludge. It hit Cacturne, causing super effective damage.
"I taught Zorua attacks using TMs. A Pokémon can't use TMs without the help of a Trainer. How's that for proof that I'm real?" asked Sally.
"Eggman taught it that," said Amy. Sally growled in annoyance.
"Cacturne, use Needle Arm!" said Harley. Cacturne's needles on its arm glowed and whacked Zorua. "Zorua, Skitter Smack!" said Sally. Zorua started to initiate the attack. "Cacturne, dodge it!" said Harley. And Cacturne did.
"Go Harley! Show Zorua that he can't ruin Sonic and my happiness!" said Amy.
"Cacturne, use Feint!" said Harley. Cacturne floated into the air at Zorua and kicked it.
"Zorua, use Skitter Smack!" said Sally. Zorua executed the attack again and it hit this time. "Come on, Zorua! Show Harley that I'm not a fake and that Amy's a liar!" said Sally.
Sonic continued to run up the mountain as Knuckles chased him. The blue hedgehog ran up to the top of a tree. "Not a bad view!" said Sonic. Suddenly, part of the tree shook. "Whoa!" said Sonic. It was Knuckles, grabbing the tree that Sonic was standing on. He then threw it, causing Sonic to scream. He landed on the ground on his feet, unharmed. He ran out of the way of the tree as it crashed to the ground. Knuckles was punching down more trees to try to crush Sonic, but he was too fast. He stuck his tongue out at his rival. Knuckles continued to furiously known down the trees. Sonic ran along a fallen tree, but another one landed on it, sending Sonic flying. Sonic then ran down a tree that Knuckles was knocking down, curling into a ball to ram Knuckles. But Knuckles managed to stop the curled up hedgehog before he could ram him. But Knuckles was still getting pushed backwards. The two combatants then crashed through one of the fallen trees. The two began rolling down the mountain side, grappling with each other. They hit the lake with a splash. Sonic was struggling to stay afloat. "HEY, HELP ME!" said Sonic. But then, he saw he was in a shallow part of the lake. "Huh? It's lucky that I fell in the kiddy pool!" said Sonic. He stood in a battle ready pose. "Get ready, you're going down!" said Sonic.
"Hmph! Let's end this now!" said Knuckles.
Dr. Eggman chuckled as he watched the three fights happening at once. I must admit, I didn't count on Amy duping that kid. But as long as he keeps the princess busy, that's good enough for me, thought Dr. Eggman. "Go, Knuckles! Show Sonic he can't keep us stuck here! Our only hope is for you to trounce that tyrant!" said Dr. Eggman. Just then, the radar on his Egg Mobile began to beep. "Hmm?" asked Dr. Eggman. Suddenly, something large burst out of the trees and was rolling toward Pumpty. Dr. Eggman yelped seeing the incoming large object. Pumpty's captives also screamed seeing it coming. Pumpty then caught the spinning object in the same manner that Knuckles tried to stop Sonic's spin attack earlier. Pumpty was getting pushed back a bit. The large robot then pushed its attacker away from it and into the ground. It was another robot, built in the image of a Golem. It got back up on its feet. Then, a voice began to come from the robot via a speaker.
"Release Pikachu! He belongs to Team Rocket, not you!" said the voice. It was Jessie. Dr. Eggman's mustache drooped down in annoyance.
"Not those three again," grumbled Dr. Eggman.

Part of the cockpit opened as Jessie, James and Meowth began to rise out via an elevator. They began to say their stupid motto. "Prepare for trouble!" said Jessie.
"Make it double!" said James. Suddenly, Metal Sonic was sent flying by one of Blaziken's Blaze Kicks, right toward the Mecha-Golem. Team Rocket were too busy reciting their motto to notice.
"To protect the . . . ," said Jessie. CRASH! Metal Sonic crashed into the Mecha-Golem, shaking it and nearly causing Team Rocket to fall off.

"Bug off, you three. I'm trying to watch these three battles that are happening at once! Especially the one between Sonic and Knuckles!" said Dr. Eggman.
"Not until you give us, Pikachu!" said Meowth.
"You have no right to steal our prize!" said James.
"Wobbu wobbu!" said Wobbuffet.
"Stealing him? Ha! I'm only keeping him and the others prisoners so they won't intervene with my other enemies' destruction," scoffed Dr. Eggman.
"You lie!" said Jessie. Ash saw what was happening.
"Those three are gonna jeopardize the rescue!" said Ash.
"I have no interest in that electric rat! He's worthless in my eyes!" snapped Dr. Eggman.
"Worthless? WORTHLESS?!" yelled Team Rocket.
"Just for that, our Mecha-Golem will turn your robot into a scrambled egg!" said Meowth.
"Hey, Team Rocket! You wanna fight, then I will fight you! Walking Wake, let's go girl!" said Ash. He threw the Poké Ball and the said Pokémon was summoned. She resembled a prehistoric ancestor of the Legendary Pokémon, Suicune. She was a large, bipedal, theropod dinosaur Pokémon with white, diamond-shaped markings. It had a long, white snout with one horn underneath the chin. The horizontal eyes were red, with yellow sclerae with red skin surrounding them. Its face and underside were also white as well. It had a thick, large purple mane covering its arms and back. The mane resembled the aurora borealis with six tips of spiky hair being red and orange. It had two small light blue forelimbs, with three white-clawed digits each, and one diamond marking. Walking Wake had two powerful light blue hind legs with six feathers, and three white claws each. It had a large, hexagonal, cerulean blue crest on its forehead with two bent prongs on either side of the base. It had a blue horn between the snout and crest. It had two long, white tails with seven small spikes each. The tails also had eight blue spikes marking on the tops of two tails each. She was anthro and had huge breasts and dressed like a cave woman.
"Remember me, idiots?" asked Walking Wake. Team Rocket's eyes widened recognizing her.
"Oh no!" said James.
"Not her!" said Jessie.
"We always get the worst of it when we face her!" said Meowth.
"Walking Wake, start things off with Sunny Day!" said Ash. Walking Wake fired a beam that caused the sunlight to intensify. Dr. Eggman was perplexed by this.
"That's strange. Why would she use Sunny Day. It weakens Water attacks and makes Grass and Fire-type attacks stronger. Unless . . . ," said Dr. Eggman.
"Walking Wake, Hydro Steam!" said Ash. Walking Wake fired a powerful blast of water. It hit Team Rocket's Mecha-Golem, soaking part of it. The water was actually scorching hot, so it began to burn at the robot's armor. Team Rocket screamed at the sight of what was happening. Dr. Eggman yelped at the sight of what was happening. "As you can see, Eggman, Sunny Day makes this Water attack stronger," said Ash. Walking Wake then charged at the Mecha-Golem. The Mecha-Golem began to throw rocks at Walking Wake. But the Legendary Water Pokémon dodged the projectiles with its superior speed.
"Hold still!" said Meowth.
"Don't think so," said Walking Wake.
"Walking Wake, use Flamethrower!" said Ash. Walking Wake then fired hot flames from her mouth, which burned at the Mecha-Golem. Team Rocket screamed as they felt the hotness of the flames from within their robot.
The Sunny Day attack was also working in May's favor cause Blaziken's Fire attacks were stronger. Blaziken did another Blaze Kick on Metal Sonic. And this one was stronger. Metal Sonic realized what was happening. "Uh-oh," said Metal Sonic.
"That's right. And my Blaziken is about to become even stronger," said May. She revealed a keystone and activated it. Blaziken happened to have a Blazikenite equipped. Its body began to glow until it changed appearance completely. It lost its yellow markings and gained black markings on its upper legs and chest. Its hair-like feathers take on a wing-like shape and pointed upward, and the portion around its chest was rough around its shoulders. The crest on its head changed into a flat horn that curved backward. The fire it created on its wrists were now longer. "Say hello to Mega Blaziken!" said May. Blaziken charged and he and Metal Sonic continued to duke it out. Blaziken's attack and speed increased as a result of Mega Evolution and she was able to keep up with Metal Sonic.
Unfortunately, the Sunny Day attack also worked in Harley's favor. Harley just smirked at Sally and Zorua. "This battle has been won! Cacturne, Solar Beam!" said Harley. Cacturne began to charge up solar energy from its hands. Sally gasped.
"Zorua, try to dodge it!" cried Sally.
"I don't think so! FIRE!" said Harley. Cacturne fired a power attack at Zorua. This was followed by a massive explosion.
"Sonic . . . ," said Clemont.
"Did they have to fight right now?! Can't they free us first?!" asked Bonnie.
"Pika!" said Pikachu. Just then, everybody heard the sound of something open. It was Tails removing a panel on the robot's controls.
"There!" said Tails.
"Good work! How'd you do it?" asked Serena.
"I . . . used my screwdriver," said Tails.
"You're really handy!" said Max.
"No big deal . . . now I've just got to figure out how this thing's wired," said Tails.
"We don't have time for this, Tails! Step aside, I'll "fix" that robot!" said Bunnie.
"Ah! BUNNIE?!" asked Clemont.
"No, no! Don't!" said Rotor.
"HIYAAH!" said Bunnie as she smashed the controls with her left fist, causing an explosion in the robot.
Sonic heard the explosion from where he was at. Knuckles then punched Sonic, sending him flying up into the air. It was at that moment that Sonic saw Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile. "GET HIM, KNUCKLES!" said Dr. Eggman.
"It's Eggman!" said Sonic. He landed on his feet and began to run to where Eggman and Pumpty was at.
"GET BACK HERE, you quitter!" said Knuckles as he chased after Knuckles.
"We'll settle this later!" said Sonic.
"Hey! Get us down from here!" said Bonnie.
"Look what've you done, you've wrecked my robot, and it isn't even insured!" said Dr. Eggman. Walking Wake kicked the Mecha-Golem like a soccer ball, sending it crashing a nearby boulder.
"Our robot isn't insured either!" cried James. Sonic ran past Pumpty's legs, causing parts of them to explode. The robot then fell to the ground on its back. Sonic then went up to his friends, who were still in Pumpty.
"Hey, what's up?" asked Sonic.
"Ah, thanks, Sonic!" said Serena.
"It's not over, Sonic! My robot may be down but it certainly isn't out!" said Dr. Eggman. The robot's arms now became its new legs. The robot then turned upside, causing everybody in it to yelp. "Attack!" said Dr. Eggman. Sonic then dodged the incoming gunfire by hiding behind a rock. But it was destroyed.
"Huh, uh oh . . . ," said Sonic. Sonic dodged more shots.
Suddenly, Knuckles kicked one of Pumpty's cannons, destroying it. "This is a battle between Sonic and me! I'll fight my way!" said Knuckles. Sonic just shrugged.
"Fight your way?! If you're going to insist on fighting a clean fight, then I'm going to start playing dirty!" said Dr. Eggman. Pumpty launched itself, along with Pikachu, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Max, Tails, Rotor and Bunnie inside it to the other side of the river. "Plan A didn't work, so now we'll have to go to Plan B! Bring me the Chaos Emerald, or you'll never see your friends again!" said Dr. Eggman.
"What is this? Eggman swore to me that all he wanted was to live in peace," said Dr. Eggman.
"He's sure tricky, isn't he?" asked Sonic.
"That swindler, he lied!" said Knuckles.
"You're catching on, pal!" said Sonic.
Back at the sight of Sally's battle against Harley, the explosion from the Solar Beam was starting to subside. Zorua was on the ground, very injured. It struggled to get back up on its feet. "So now what?" asked Harley.
"Now that Zorua is badly injured, he'll struggle to keep the illusion of Sally intact. But he'll lose his focus and Sally will disappear forever, leaving Sonic mine again!" said Amy, filled with overconfidence. Amy, Harley and Cacturne waited to see if Sally will start to vanish. Ten seconds passed, nothing happened. Another twenty seconds, nothing changed. Sally's foes waited and waited for what Amy hoped would happen, but it never came. "I don't understand. You should be disappearing by now!" said Amy to Sally.
"That's because I'm not an illusion! That's what we've been trying to tell you, you bitch!" said Sally. She turned to Harley. "Amy's been lying to you from the start! She's just a stupid girl who can't face reality of the real world and prefers to live in a fantasy fairy tale in her mind! She can't accept that the boy she likes has been taken long before she and Sonic crossed paths!" said Sally.
"The truth is, I let myself get defeated because it was only way you were to going to see that my Trainer is real," said Zorua.
"WHAT?!" asked Amy.
"And one more thing, I'm not even the real Zorua," said Zorua. Suddenly, that Zorua disappeared. And without warning, the real Zorua burst out of the ground and executed a full powered Skitter Smack on Cacturne, knocking it down and out for the time being. Harley and Amy gasped seeing what happened. "Did you really think I'd let you beat me that easily?" asked Zorua.
"AAAAAARGH! Must I do everything myself?!" asked Amy. Amy charged at Zorua, armed with her Piko Piko Hammer.
"I don't think so!" said Sally. She then got out the Green Chaos Emerald. "Ivy power!" said Sally. Suddenly, some vines burst out of the ground and tied up Amy, Harley and Cacturne.
"Hey!" said Harley.
"Let us go!" said Amy.
"Cacturne!" said Cacturne.
"Not a chance. I don't have time to deal with you idiots. I have to help Sonic save our friends," said Sally. And she and Zorua then ran to where the battle against Eggman's forces was taking place.
"Sonic!" called Dr. Eggman.
"Hmm?" asked Sonic.
"We all know that your weak spot is water, so I've stuck your friends over there where you can't save them without treading H2O!" taunted Dr. Eggman.
"Yeah, that's what you think!" said Sonic.
"Huh?" asked Dr. Eggman. Sonic just ran along the river's curve, something that Dr. Eggman overlooked. He rammed one of Pumpty's legs, causing the robot to the fall to the ground again. Sonic then smirked at his nemesis.
"Show off!" said Dr. Eggman.
"Ha! It seems the mad scientist with an I.Q. of 300 forgot that Sonic could run around the lake!" taunted Jessie. She let out a taunting laugh, which was interrupted by Walking Wake soaking her with a Water Pulse attack.
"Shut up and focus on the fight," said Walking Wake. Sonic helped the captives out of the fallen Pumpty.
"You alright?" asked Sonic.
"We're okay," said Max. Pikachu ran up to Ash.
"Pikachu, thank goodness you're safe," said Ash.
"Pikachu," said Pikachu. Pikachu saw Walking Wake was fighting Team Rocket's Mecha-Golem.
"Team Rocket are here, but Walking Wake is taking care of them," said Ash. Just then, Sally ran up to Sonic and hugged her.
"Are you okay, Sonic?" asked Sally.
"I'm fine. Are you okay?" asked Sonic.
"Yes. Amy is here. She duped this Trainer named Harley to try to take out Zorua, thinking I'm still an illusion created by him. But Harley and Amy are tied up at the moment, literally," said Sally.
"Good to see that my girlfriend is still capable of looking out for herself," said Sonic. The two then hugged it out. Harley and Cacturne arrived and saw Sonic and Sally hugging. His eyes widened.
"They . . . really care . . . for each other?" asked Harley.
"That's right. Amy lied to you, just like how you lied to us in the past," said Max.
"Looks like the trickster got tricked for a change," said May. She giggled, making Harley growl in embarrassment.
"Get your hands off my Sonic!" cried Amy as she charged at Sonic & Sally. But suddenly, everybody began to hear Pumpty moving.
"RUN!" said Sonic as she and the others ran away from it.
"I'm not calling it quits yet, Sonic! You only had a preview of this robot's firepower! You and your friends are through!" said Dr. Eggman. The robot then began firing missiles in different directions. "I've got you now!" said Dr. Eggman. Most of the heroes ducked behind some rocks from the missiles.
"Oh no!" said Serena. Walking Wake was dodging the missiles with ease. Team Rocket and their Mecha-Golem, not so much. Amy then charged at Sally again, but she blocked the attack with her gauntlet blades.
"Amy, how can you think of your vendetta when Eggman's trying to blast us all?!" cried Sally.
"It doesn't matter! What matters is that I won't let you get away with stealing my boy again! I'm going to prove that you're a fake once and for all!" said Amy. Amy continued to try to hit Sally, but Sally kept blocking each attack.
"Let me take care of Eggman!" said Knuckles.
"OK!" said Sonic. Knuckles charged at Pumpty, dodging the robot's gunfire. The red echidna jumped and began punching holes in the robot while climbing up it. Harley saw Sally was continuing to try to hold off Amy. He growled, finally realizing he was tricked.
"Cacturne, let's teach that pink brat a lesson!" said Harley.
"Cac," said Cacturne. Cacturne charged, with its arms glowing as it prepared a needle arm attack.
"Blaziken, Blast Burn on Metal Sonic!" said May. Blaziken formed a big ball of red-orange fire in its hands, and then launched a giant red-orange flame from it at Metal Sonic.
"Oh slag," mumbled Metal Sonic. There was a massive explosion, which blew Metal Sonic to pieces. His melted and charred remains landed in Dr. Eggman's lap. Dr. Eggman screamed hysterically at the sight of his defeated robot.
"Walking Wake, Hydro Steam, full power!" said Ash. Walking Wake fired her signature attack, one more time, which ripped through the robot. And it began to spark as it was on the verge of exploding.
"No, no, no, NOOOOOOOO!" cried Team Rocket. Knuckles then jumped off the robot's head and was now at Dr. Eggman's eye level.
"You!" said Dr. Eggman.
"AMY!" yelled Harley.
"Huh?" asked Amy.
"YOU LIAR!" yelled Knuckles and Harley. Knuckles punched Dr. Eggman, while Cacturne whacked Amy with its Needle Arm attack. Team Rocket's Mecha-Golem exploded. Dr. Eggman, Amy Rose and Team Rocket were all sent flying into the distance, screaming.
"We're blasting off again!" cried Team Rocket. And all the villains disappeared.
Knuckles then landed back on top of Pumpty's head and delivered a final punch. The robot began to crack down the middle before it exploded like Team Rocket's Mecha-Golem. Everybody shielded themselves from the debris of the exploding robot. Sonic saw Knuckles was sent flying by the explosion. He ran to his rival's aid and grabbed him by the hand. Sonic then grabbed onto a nearby tree branch to prevent themselves from being blown by the wind caused by the explosion.
Everybody waited to see if Sonic and Knuckles made it. Sonic and Knuckles jumped down from the tree. Knuckles then smiled. "Sonic!" said Sally.
"You've both made it!" said Ash. Sally then hugged Sonic.
"Yeah!" said Sonic.
"Oh, Sonic!" said Sally. She then kissed him on the cheek.
"Knuckles and I had it all under control," said Sonic.
Then, Walking Wake wrapped her arms around Ash and pulled him tight, close to her bosom.
"Oh how I missed you," said Walking Wake.
"I missed you too, girl," said Ash.
Knuckles was about to leave when Sally grabbed his arm.
"We're ashamed of you, Knuckles. You've allowed yourself to get tricked by Dr. Eggman . . . again. I know you want to get home so you can protect the Master Emerald, but that doesn't excuse you from the fact that you let the enemy deceive you. I know most of want to get home, but I'm not going home . . . yet," said Sally.
"Why?" asked Knuckles.
"'Cause something caused most of the Pokémon to go extinct by the time of our time period. And I want to find out what caused it, so I can undo it all. And nothing you can do or say is gonna change my mind," said Sally. Knuckles hung his head in shame, seeing how he made himself look like a fool in front of his childhood friend.
"It seems you and Sally know each other Knuckles," said Ash.
"We do. Sally has known me almost as long as she's known Sonic," said Knuckles.
"Really?" asked Bunnie.
"Yes. Sally's family used to visit Angel Island before the original Dr. Robotnik started his conquest of Mobius. We used to play together," said Knuckles. He turned to Sally. "And I'm sorry I let Eggman get the best of me," said Knuckles.
"It seems you need to work on knowing when somebody is telling the truth or a lie, just like Harley does right now," said May. Harley just groaned in annoyance again. Knuckles then began to leave.
"Later!" said Knuckles. And he left for who knows where.

On the next episode of Sonic X and Pokémon, Ash and co. return to Kanto so that Ash can stop by his hometown of Pallet Town. On the way, they stop by Cerulean City and re-encounter Brock, Misty and her sisters. Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman sends the Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad; Coconuts, Grounder and Scratch to deal with Team Rocket. This results in a titanic battle between two squads of moronic minions. Why did Ash, Misty and Brock have a falling out? And which villainous team will come out on top?! I hope you enjoyed reading this adaptation of "Cracking Knuckles". As you saw, Ash has a Walking Wake. How he got her will be explained in later episodes. It'll be a while before Amy Rose accepts that Sally is a real person and not an illusion created by Zorua. Next episode will be a filler to take the place of the "Techno Teacher" episode. This time, the highlight of the episode is the return of Grounder, Scratch and Coconuts as they clash with Team Rocket. Plus, Ash reunites with both Brock and Misty as well as Misty's sisters.
