"Haa... Haa..." Ash panted heavily, still reeling from his intense encounter with Donkey Kong. The ordeal had left him shaken and drained, unsure of how he had managed to survive. The thought of facing such formidable opponents in this strange realm was daunting, but Ash knew he couldn't afford to let fear consume him.

Shaking off the lingering effects of his ordeal, the Monarch forced himself to regain his composure. He turned his attention to the new battle stage he had been unexpectedly summoned to. The stage, known as Hyrule Castle, sprawled before him with a commanding presence. In its center stood a large main platform, while three smaller platforms floated midway across it, forming a strategic layout. To the left of the main platform, a slightly lower, slanted platform extended, offering additional maneuvering space. On the right side, a lower platform was adorned with a dark green gazebo-like structure known as the Tent, Combo Tent, or Greenhouse.

Before long, the sound of approaching footsteps drew Ash's attention forward once more. He turned to see a young man with distinctive pointy ears, clad in a vibrant green tunic that matched his hat and complemented by sturdy brown boots. Strapped to his back was a colossal shield emblazoned with the Hyrule Emblem, alongside the imposing sheath of the legendary Master Sword.

Ash couldn't believe his eyes as the swordsman stood before him, poised and ready for their impending encounter. "Wait... Aren't you..." he began, but before he could finish, Link's narrowed gaze silenced him. With swift precision, the Hyrule swordsman drew his blade and positioned his shield defensively, signaling his readiness for battle. "Whoa!" Ash recoiled in alarm, instinctively putting some distance between himself and his formidable opponent. "Just a second! You don't have to do this!" he pleaded with desperation creeping into his voice.

Link raised an eyebrow at Ash's plea. His expression softened slightly as he seemed to consider the request. After a moment's hesitation, he slowly lowered the Master Sword. As Ash sighed in relief, seeing Link lower his guard and relinquish his weapon, a sense of gratitude washed over him. Perhaps there was hope for a peaceful resolution after all.

But just as Ash began to relax, his relief turned to alarm as Link reached for something else—a bomb. Before Ash could react, the bomb was lit and tossed towards him with alarming ease. Panicked, Ash clumsily juggled the bomb before finally grasping it in his hands with his eyes widening in horror as he realized what was about to happen. In a frantic attempt to diffuse the situation, Ash desperately blew on the fuse, but his efforts were futile. Time seemed to slow as the bomb reached its inevitable conclusion, engulfing Ash in a blinding explosion.

KAA-BBBOOOOOOMMMM!

The blast echoed through the air, leaving behind a cloud of smoke and debris.

As the smoke dispersed, Ash stood with a bewildered expression. His body smoldered from the blast. His hair was now disheveled, and his clothes were marked with blackened scorch marks. With a weak chuckle, he attempted to shake off the shock of the explosion. "He heh he..." His laughter was strained, tinged with disbelief. But before he could fully process what had just occurred, his strength gave out, and he crumpled to the ground with a resounding thud.

Well...at least Link went easy on him. XD Next up is...Samus!
