On the front of Japan, the structures of the army were large as they clashed. Neither showed mercy to the others as circles lit the sky and bodies piled up, some almost tripping the respective allies. The sounds of their battle cry drowned out the breath they tried to reclaim whenever one person or many would feel exhaustion creep, an annoying burden that could spell life or death.
Just outside Kuoh, Sona, along with devils, youkais and fallen angels were managing physical systems and magical screens, showing how the battles were going along on each side. This did not mean Sona was not busy, as she worked overtime to make sure to relay messages and coordinates as fast as she could. 'Don't let up, be quick! Each second counts!'
Sona took a breather when she heard a familiar voice hit her up. "We did it, So-tan! We've completely finished up our area! I hope you were watching your big sister! Yeah, the Leviathan Magical Girls rock! We need to do a show about it! In any case, I hope you are being safe and good luck! Me and my group should probably move to China and so some damage control, given the fight Sirzechs-chan and the others are having there is getting more out of hand than was originally suspected—"
"Emergency! Emergency!"
Sona quickly disconnected her sister from the line; already prepping an apology for after all of this washed over. "What's happening?!"
"It's from the front lines! The commanders are losing against an unexpected enemy! It's just one unit, but they are immensely powerful! HELP! I YIELD! I YIELD!" they shouted, those last words was what Sona heard before the voice stopped.
Sona gritted her teeth. "So, finally..."
Paths dipped in unnatural red, a contradiction to the nature of the earth around them, as bodies clogged up the area and many were already flapping away to the safety of anything away from the monstrosity they were facing.
Even Baraquiel, Shemhazai, Raphael and Uriel were tossed like yesterday's trash, bloodied, broken wings and armours and bodies cracked in an unnatural methods, as only the twitching of body and the leakage of ichor showed they were surviving.
Though his wings were down, Baraquiel made sure to upright himself as much as one could in such a twisted state of health. Sizzling cracks flickered before a holy lightning spear materialized, though it didn't match the intensity of his eyes; his glare stronger than his healthiest attack. 'He's taken us all down... and he's smiling!'
Crom Cruach snorted at the final display of Baraquiel's will against his might. "Is this all your whole group can do?" Crom Cruach asked, clearly not impressed but still smirking at the possibilities ahead.
"We weren't expecting Rizevim to have such a monster under his command!" Baraquiel growled out.
Crom Cruach chuckled. "The only reason I'm here is to fight a truly strong opponent. It is my sole reason for acting as Rizevim's bodyguard."
Baraquiel's arm was thrown forward as the holy lightning attack connected with his opponent's body, with the latter looking at the attack as if they were special effects for a movie. Soon, the attack faded and Crom Cruach was still standing, unharmed and almost bored.
"Have you truly reached the limit of what your holy lightning can do?" Crom Cruach waited patiently for a response but the fallen cadre was oddly silent. "Very well... You won't survive this next hit!" Crom Cruach shot forward faster than any roar.
The man smiled. "We found them," he mumbled.
"Boost!"
"Divide!"
The twin shouts echoed as several red blurs shot through the air at break-neck speeds and scooped up the fallen and archangels out of the way. Crom Cruach's eyes gaped at seeing the form of Vali and IsseI racing at him in their Balance Breakers, the two of them performing a double development attack and crashing at each side.
However, no matter how close they were, their hits were both clutched by Crom Cruach's claws at the last conceivable moment. It was only the golden-clad form of Sairaorg slamming Crom Cruach's cranium, along with the trio screaming with all their might and motivation, that they managed to fling Crom Cruach to the ground.
"NOW!" IsseI shouted, falling back rapidly, and watching the bombardment of Power of Destruction, holy lightning, water, ice, light, several dragon flames and a giant holy aura slicing down onto the fallen form of the dragon.
Baraquiel's eyes flickered as exhaustion persisted through every nerve present. When he had finally gained access to his full sight, to his surprise, the female form clad in the Red Dragon Armour retracted her helmet to show a scared-as-all-fuck Raynare. "I can't believe we went so close to such a monster," she mumbled, slowly putting Baraquiel in a more comfortable position.
Kalawarner carried Raphael and Uriel, with Mittelt aiding Shemhazai. The three fallen angels landed near Asia, who quickly activated her Balance Breaker to do its magic. Despite the importance of healing, Asia couldn't help but gaze at the battle ahead. "Fafnir! I call upon you!" she cried out.
A flash of brilliance materialized fast than light as the Dragon King came to her back and call, assisting in his contractor's order. 'This aura!' Fafnir noted, beads of sweat present.
Having healed up the cadres and the archangels, Rayanre, Mittelt and Kalawarner made it their duty to take them back to properly rest and not get involved in the crossfire. Helping would have been something nice, but they were aware that their help was not needed, and the help they could have provided would have been moot.
"Who the hell is this guy?!" IsseI asked, already feeling the strength leaking off him and the display he showed; successfully repelling him and Vali's pincer attack. "How did that prick even find someone this strong?! Is there a black market for strong combatants in case you want to plunge the world into madness?!"
Vali narrowed his eyes. "That must mean Rizevim is nearby!" he commented, not forgetting to spit out his grandfather's name in disgust.
"His name is Crom Cruach, an evil dragon of old," Ddraig explained.
"However, he's appeared to grow even more stronger than ever before. Prepare for everything to come down if you slip up," Albion warned.
A cool laugh permeated the air and Sairaorg's shout for them to back off was finished by Crom Cruach's wings pervading and wiping the smoke present, minor scratches present and an ear-to-ear grin on his face. "Ddraig! Albion! It's been far too long since we've last greeted each other!" Crom Cruach spoke, eyes falling onto the field of warriors: most of the Gremory Peerage (Yuuto and Gasper missing), the other girls in their own Balance Breaker and Tohru, Kanna, Ilulu and Lucoa in her dragon form.
Lucoa's size easily an army in her own right. Her large amphithere dragon physiology with expansive feathered wings and a mask-like skull; two back, side curved branching horns.
The Aztec Goddess' appearance brought the sun to Crom Cruach's face. "I never expected to see the mighty Quetzalcoatl in the battle today. Truly... it was worth to stick around with Rizevim."
Lucoa's fangs were bared towards the fellow dragon. "All of you! This goes without saying, but don't let your guard down! None of you get hit, or else death awaits! Crom Cruach was already a force back in my divine years, but he pales in comparison to the might he has achieved."
"We're not going to let a single dragon get in your way!" Tohru snarled, breaking ground and ignoring the cries and complaints.
Aggression was tempered coolly by Crom Cruach, his one hand enough to subdue the force of the dragon maid; the tightness making her eyes flash in concern. Crom Cruach chuckled at the eagerness she displayed. "The daughter of the Emperor of Demise is certainly strong, but you're a thousand years too young to fight me still!"
A vicious bang blew out in the air as the casual Crom Cruach punched her jaw, something definitely breaking, and sending her spinning like she was clothes in the washing machine. Her form ungraceful and plummeting into the ground.
"Tohru!" IsseI, Kanna, Ilulu cried out.
Rias moved her hand forward. "Attack!" she shouted.
Crom Cruach liked the resolve shown, and charged head first into the conflict. All his eyes saw was a chance at attaining what he wanted, so he charged through. Destruction was his fists, each attack lost in time, with the Crescent Circle Dragon not holding back. "You'll need more than this if you think this will be enough to best me!"
Quickly noting the situation, his running form switched out and he spun around, open maw, and unleashed the bowels of hell against his opponent. The air violently filling up with the flames of Crom Cruach, easily engulfing Ilulu and Kanna's combined attack.
Gravity worked onto his body in the form of Lucoa, her titanic frame giving him pause as the entire battlefield cracked and all allies took flight to avoid being caught up in it. 'Such destruction,' Rossweisse thought.
"Now this is more like it!" Crom Cruach said, his condition completely unperturbed by the current pace of events.
Burning burgundy, blinding silver-white. The True Crimson Dragon Emperor. The Silver Dragon of the Highest Supremacy. The Heavenly Dragons, both allies... Neither one needed any further guidance as they charged at the evil dragon.
"For the sake of the world, you'll be beaten!" Sairaorg shouted, charging at the back of the dragon.
Crom Cruach grinned. Quick flashes going by as Crom Cruach backflipped, briefly taking the form of a crescent, already over Sairaorg and digging his one hand down, completely breaking Sairaorg's touki-enhanced defences. In that same moment, his legs woke up, and both landed against the dragon duo, knocking them back.
The chorus of Boosts made Crom Cruach fly up to deal with what he would call pests when comparing his battle power to them but the grip of the White Dragon Emperor's tail halted him long enough for IsseI to whip out Ascalon.
Surprise came to the lot of them as Ascalon only slid off Crom Cruach's body rather than pierce through it, only a stitch of blood to slightly alleviate their concerns about the durability of Crom Cruach. Still in battle mode, IsseI used the tail of Ascalon to try again while already already fleeting forward.
'Too slow!' Crom Cruach thought, grinning and using the overwhelming strength in his body to bend back and swing Vali off into IsseI with the force of a kick, added by the additional aerial air attack that came with the kick.
Sairaorg tried bashing his back but his face was bruised by the simple backfist, followed by calmly moving the right battering ram of Sairaorg, and raising his fist towards his gut. Fortunately for Sairaorg, Crom Cruach's form faltered by the bombardment of justice and judgement.
Once again, Sairaorg tried to attack, but Crom Cruach anticipated it and managed to dodge it. He, however, was unable to stop the green-glowing Ascalon attack and a compressed attack of demonic power from Vali.
"Are you sure that's really a dragon-slaying blade?!" Vali shouted, remembering the searing pain he felt in his first bout with IsseI as the bane blade brought him to his knees easily.
"I'm trying to figure that out myself!" IsseI argued back, remembering its effectiveness beforehand against his dragon host counterpart. "It worked against you, didn't it?!" IsseI shot back.
Vali snorted at Ascalon's effectiveness and IsseI comment. "I guess this means we can rely on the strongest evil dragon to not be a pushover!"
Sairaorg, for the third time, came in. His eyes widened at seeing Crom Cruach's mouth open. IsseI called out to Sairaorg, sprinting to close the dragon's mouth, but the sea of flames engulfed Sairaorg fully.
"Oh?" Crom Cruach muttered, watching an axe meet with elbow. "You survived my flames with such ease."
Singes came upon Sairaorg's skin as he continued to apply his touki and press it against Crom Cruach's body. "You can thank Regulus for that!" he shouted.
His aura pushed back the approaching IsseI and Vali, but his body was thrown right down by the crashing form of Lucoa. "They aren't the only concern you should have."
Right as she said that to the crater where Crom Cruach was situated, her underbelly felt the comet hit her back. Grabbing one of her feathered wings, he slipped down the slope of her back and reached for the end of her tail.
A force of attraction perplexed the dragon, only for Rias, garbed in the armour of the Red Dragon Emperor, to release her Extinguished Star against him. Crom Cruach only smiled as his hand gripped the attack until it faded.
"Not even a scratch!" Rias shouted in shock.
The true red blast of IsseI stopped Rias from being instantly ripped to shreds by Crom Cruach as Vali followed with a kick to the shin, soon Crom Cruach being once again under attack by the boosted attacks that came from all directions. While his aura mostly stopped them, there was still enough to stall him and nick at his longevity.
A holy lightning dragon decorated with the Power of Dragon was sent Crom Cruach's way, which he dodged with a flick of his head, and the light spears were all blown back by Crom Cruach. His excited glare didn't hide the fearful presence he presented himself with as the Norse magical spells from Rossweisse emptied out a salvo of shots that Crom Cruach disregarded with his honed reflexes.
Even under such pressure, Crom Cruach was perfectly capable of continuing in such high-stakes situation. Turning towards Vali, he prised his length to break his helmet. Vali responded by switching his attacking charge to a defensive manuever at the final moment, both arms up and legs ready to tuck for extra support. 'I've got you!' Vali thought.
Crom Cruach's face didn't sour in any way as he simply reversed the way his leg was stretching out to; having not completed the full length of his kick made it easier for him. Befitting his name, his kick swerved from right to left in a crescent moon fashion. The result worked as Vali's eyes widened beneath the helmet before he was sent crashing right into the ground.
IsseI boosted himself as he grappled the airborne leg, a chilly glow emanating from his hands, as fragments of ice began to multiply and threaten to overtake Crom Cruach. The latter easily burned them away with his aura, leaving him to the face Ascalon's upcoming attack, which he dealt with relative ease.
"You some kind of monster?!" IsseI responded.
Crom Cruach opened his mouth, and IsseI's tail attack came up from below, not having enough power to pierce Crom Cruach's skin yet again, but managing to divert his breath attack up in the air, ripping through the environment above.
"Clever!" Crom Cruach shouted, headbutting IsseI before the latter could respond in time. Being battle trained, Crom Cruach wasn't taken by surprise from the quick recovery against a weaker attack, and dodged IsseI, smacking his side and sending the Red Dragon Emperor flying into the ground.
A green glow made Crom Cruach tilt back from the dragon destruction wave. His eyes widened at seeing what laid underneath the revenge attack, tipping himself backwards and only getting the tip of Ascalon to graze against his forehead.
Crom Cruach didn't have time to focus on the increased damage of the attack as Sairaorg unleashed pressurized air points that jolted Crom Cruach's body, all in the shape of a vicious lion. The simple stalling had the impact as Vali gathered his demonic power and applied it on one focused area, making Crom Cruach grunt at the heavy hit.
Vali was soon kicked in the face, but it didn't end there, as Crom Cruach's legs wrapped around his neck and spun him around. Defenceless, Vali was saved by Crom Cruach holding Lucoa back from trying to pin him down. "Show me your power, Quetzalcoatl!" Crom Cruach maniacally shouted out, pressing back against her fallen frame and grinning all the while.
"Divide!"
Vali stopped after the first one, feeling his wings already distributing out the energy. "Shit, seriously?! Just one Divide, and yet it was already too much for me!"
His brief monologue was punished by the smouldering wave of heat released by Crom Cruach, having already thrown Lucoa back away. "I probably should have held back Quetzalcoatl while unleashing my flames! That might have added a challenge."
Though Crom Cruach did not intend to mock them for their efforts, Sairaorg bull charged at the evil dragon for the ridicule of their efforts. Crom Cruach took the blow in stride, and, at the same time, also blew Sairaorg back with a single punch.
His signature heat mouth wave attack was stopped by IsseI releasing his own flames, though Crom Cruach's was chewing into his in no time. "Ddraig! Some help here!"
"Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!"
For the second time, the Extinguished Star technique was unleashed against Crom Cruach. 'I'll gladly allow them to tackle me! I'm fighting the power of Ddraig, after all!'
All the distractions in the world couldn't stop Crom Cruach as his golden aura persisted against those too weak to overwhelm it, which Crom Cruach used to feed his power into his flames. Faster than a flash, the attack soon came crashing onto IsseI!
'Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Retreat back!'
Crom Cruach disappeared from the battlefield, with IsseI seeing the dragon running by his side. IsseI backed up, but was turned back with a kick. Crom Cruach took the chance to grab him by the leg and whack him from one side to the next.
'He's disrupting my focus with this shit!' IsseI thought in annoyance, slowly trying to fix himself while Crom Cruach allowed some of his iniquity show in his savagery. It also served to effectively sever his allies as IsseI couldn't keep his hand still, so any time he unleashed a projectile attack, it would launch out and stop the others from diving right down.
Finally, IsseI mustered himself and the claws of coldness crept quickly onto Crom Cruach. IsseI tried to trap Crom Cruach, even for a second, by aiming his ice beam close towards his leg. However, Crom Cruach only smirked, and said, "Ineffective," and allowed his flames to assault IsseI.
Quickly, IsseI put more demonic power into the ice attack and barely managed to create a faint smoke screen to buy him some time. 'What do I do?! I can't just guess blindly. He'll probably hear me if I move quickly!'
The option IsseI came to was utilizing the Ascalon stored within his Boosted Gear to release a long spinning attack and extending Ascalon's rage to catch Crom Cruach. No matter how durable he made himself to be, dragon-slaying was still effective.
A twitch... instinctively, Crom Cruach bent 90 degrees and avoided the wide-reaching claws of the bane blade. Crom Cruach wasted no time in aiming his blast breath slightly up, and grinning as he caught the silhouette of IsseI being caught up into it.
"It's like he can read my moves," IsseI coughed out, his Crimson Queen armour looking gooey in some areas as he patched those up rather quickly.
'He's been honing his skills while me and Albion were sealed in our Sacred Gears. It's no wonder he's grown to this level.'
A blue blur pushed against Crom Cruach as he wrestled against the White Dragon Emperor, his fist barely missing, but working out the next two times. 'Even when I used my demonic power to shield myself, the damage is still this intense!'
"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"
"I've got you, Crom Cruach!" IsseI shouted, hand against his blade and swinging towards the neck, although Crom Cruach was inching closer to stopping that.
"TRANSFER!"
Just in the nick of time, the boost of power worked as Crom Cruach felt the air-compressed punch jolt his body as Sairaorg also proved to distract Crom Cruach for the miniscule moments that allowed for Ascalon and Ascalon II Prototype to deliver a pincer attack against his neck.
Both blades were fidgeting as IsseI struggled to push it any further than it already was. IsseI gave a weak chuckle. "You serious?"
Vali kicked Crom Cruach's hair, the latter dodging the attack fast enough, and burning the threat above. The others tried to use this to stop Crom Cruach but the staggering shield appeared against their stubborn efforts, which only served to make them seem like they had gone past their prime.
Thankfully, the chanting of the White Dragon Emperor's signature power alerted them to his safety. "I expected more, Crom Cruach!" Vali spoke with a grin, charging right forward, and having his fist stopped by Crom Cruach's outstretched legs.
"As did I!" he shouted back, smirking as both IsseI and Sairaorg had their heads make a pain-staking rhythm, and were tossed into Vali. Using Vali's time being busy with the two bodies thrown his way, a bomb-blast beam was charging towards the trio.
"DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE!"
Vali struggled to hold out against the attack, already having thrown IsseI and Sairaorg out of his hands for an easier time. He was drowning in an armour of sweat with the intensity of heat being displayed.
A gang up of magical spells clashed against Crom Cruach's body, at seeing Vali struggle with the difference in strength. The challenge presented to Crom Cruach only excited him more as he ferociously took everything while growling from his mighty maw.
'I can't divide it fast enough!' Vali cursed, retreating from the sky bound attack, the clouds rippling apart like stones in the river. "This is the difference in strength..." Vali muttered, fingers twitching as he thought about what was occurring. "Should I be excited or not?" he pondered.
His question was punished with a fist to the sphenoid bone, followed by a harsh loss of air via his sternum, and a sledgehammer attack that had enough force to prevent Vali from up righting himself at the last moment.
"You should be paying attention to your opponent. You'll never get to Rizevim by day-dreaming. Take what you want when you want! That's what it means to be a dragon."
Right after his small speech, Crom Cruach's figure vanished, making IsseI stop with the shining Ascalon blinking brightly. "The fuck did he go?"
"Omae wa mou shindeiru!" Crom Cruach whispered from behind.
"NANI?!"
Similar to Tohru, IsseI found himself flying away like a ragdoll at the kick to his back. The after effect was the mother of all stings to his nervous system. "Got you!" Rossweisse said, safely capturing IsseI in a bungee gum contraception.
"Thanks, Rosswiesse!" IsseI called out.
Rossweisse nodded. "It has the properties of both rubber and gum, so you should have had a safe landing. I'm working on some magic to try and stop Crom Cruach. Even if we defeat him, with how powerful he is, I fear we'll be too exhausted to deal with Rizevim."
IsseI's energy flared. "I understand. I'm making sure that's now happening, after all. I'll have to boost up my Ascalon a lot more to damage him. He's got an unnatural resistance against his supposed weakness."
"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"
Vali swarmed Crom Cruach with multiple punches and kicks, each of them ferocious but calmly dispatched by the trained dragon. "Is this all Albion's host can entertain me with?!" Crom Cruach shouted inquisitively, flipped Vali's assaults and grabbing both arms.
A slow-moving orb made Crom Cruach's hair flail widely about as Rias used the Boost ability of the dragon armour given to her to compliment her Extinguished Star, aware of the decrease in speed that the power brought.
Faintly, Crom Cruach's body twitched as he made out the plan. Grinning, he continued to hold Vali in place but casually flung the attack into the air, further shocking Rias and the others but not completely surprising them with the solo skill he displayed.
His exposed groin was met with the shockwave-inducing blow of Sairaorg, who spared no power from his efforts. "Admirable," Crom Cruach stated, only to subdue Sairaorg by using his legs to chokehold him at once.
Crom Cruach's chin buckled at Vali's effort but Crom Cruach only nodded back against Vali's knee, a clash that made the silver star falter. With Vali's attack casually gobbled up, Crom Cruach took the time to bash Vali with Sairaorg and send them both to greet God.
Appreciating their efforts with a heavy blow-in, Crom Cruach's aggression was present in the fierce red wave of destruction, completely dwarfing the view of those who tried to get close. "Even the feeling of the flames is too much!" Koneko stated.
Through the flames, a separate silhouette snuck in and blood was unleashed from the skin of Crom Cruach. Seeing the exposed ichor brought a warm expression onto his face, immediately focusing on the only one who could do that.
Pride flowed through the Irish dragon's body, his arm freely showing a sign of vulnerability. "Incredible! You've managed to injure me! Won't you show me more, Red Dragon Emperor?!"
IsseI flung himself back as fast as he could against the flaring up of Crom Cruach's countenance, already aware what was going to happen. 'I'll back up!' he mentally told himself, 'And attack!' he added, trying to help himself with words, and using the tail-tipped blade to strike Crom Cruach. Having experienced just how fast he was, IsseI decided to try and use his speed against him in the hopes that it would be more successful than trying to use willpower to inundate the individual.
Feeling stiffness, and seeing defeat, IsseI opted to use the grabbing of his tail to his advantage, allowing Crom Cruach to swing him but powering himself enough to resist being tossed and instead grabbing onto the back of Crom Cruach, tightly securing his waist with his legs; the blade of AIIP rubbing salt into the wound.
"Holy Moon Fang Cross-Shaped Piercer!"
Durandal and Excalibur's energy was released in an X shape that settled against Crom Cruach's body and struggled to push against him. "BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"
Xenovia and IsseI both amplified their sword-related attacks. Crom Cruach merely smiled at the efforts, his natural weakness actually giving him some pause. "Will this continue to tickle me, or is more power at display here?" Crom Cruach asked.
"You've got to be kidding me?!" IsseI growled.
A loud pop made everyone look to see the Power of Destruction coming down at them. IsseI's body softened at seeing that he might needed to escape, only to grin and clutch Crom Cruach tighter at seeing Sairaorg carrying the Battle Axe of the Lion King, drenched in the previously disregarded Extinguished Star attack.
The toll of a mighty bell fell upon the ground, splitting the ground and forcing IsseI to fly up after Sairaorg delivered the attack to Crom Cruach. A wild smile on the Longinus-possessing user at seeing the crimson painting mess on the crater.
"So you aren't invincible?!" Sairaorg jokingly spoke back.
Crom Cruach first responded by back headbutting IsseI with enough force to stunt him, giving Crom Cruach (to him, at least) ample time to flip him over his shoulders and boot his back to the next few hundred craters ahead.
A silvery flash of black and white bruised the arm of Crom Cruach, enough to make him slide back a few acres. "That's more like it, Vali Lucifer!" he shouted, heaving his diaphragm, and puffing his chest out to attack Sairaorg for a brief moment and then focus against the Vanishing Dragon's blast attack.
Sairaorg propelled himself towards the evil dragon's attack, and sparks flew off sporadically, making Sairaorg press his touki harder into the axe. "As expected of the strongest evil dragon! All my might, and I feel like I'm making no progress!"
"Tch, I don't need your help!" Vali muttered, though he didn't make any further complaint and unleashed more of his energy reserves into the attack and continued to put Crom Cruach's crunching flames to a slower pace than before; still, it held off Vali's attack with similar ease.
Uplifting the ground with every stride, a red riot blasted off and Crom Cruach clearly groaned at the force, the wound widening at the attack presented. Immediately, the wound was infected by the blade of Ascalon actively sinking into it. "Finally!" IsseI called out. 'But how the hell is he still firing his attack while a blade specifically against his nature is rubbing into him?!'
IsseI tried tugging the blade out but the sprawling tunnel lines came across the arm of Crom Cruach, making IsseI's eyes widen. "Can't take it out, can you?" Crom Cruach finished for him with a smile, and booting him with the force of six hundred falling moons and smacking him back.
Dyed red, passion, excitement, and anger ran through IsseI's life stream. Eager, IsseI transferred a chorus of boosts right into the still anchored Ascalon. Smiling, Crom Cruach's eyes bulged in bewilderment at seeing two cannons sprout out in full glory from the wings. "Surprise!" he shouted, firing off the Crimson Blaster.
This time, Crom Cruach's wound was under a real threat as steam poured from the wound. "I see, you added the dragon-slaying power of Ascalon into your attack!" Crom Cruach explained, somehow still firing off against Sairaorg and Vali while talking.
Excited at the injury, Sairaorg and Vali both managed to take advantage of the moment and the Nemean Lion axe charged down, with the backing of Vali's demonic beam, and broke right into Crom Cruach's arm. Sairaorg roaring with all his might at the two weapons gouging right into his flesh.
Crom Cruach opened his mouth but Vali spawned his hands out. Soon, a frosted swarm of wyverns began to claw at Crom Cruach's face and Vali mustered his demonic power into ice to halt at him. 'To think I'd be using something other than Divine Dividing! Oh well, it's a fun battle, so I won't complain!'
Preoccupied with three threats, the problems kept mounting on as hordes of large light spears kept on piling up against him. While relatively harmless against the natural resilience that dragons possessed, that was more effective in dragon form, and Crom Cruach was having plenty of fun with all the obstacles ahead.
Glinting, he watched as lightning came crashing down on him, draconic and holy lightning both coming down on him. 'So the daughter of Kimun Kamui is also present for battle!' Crom Cruach thought with a grin.
Periwinkle magical circles clad the others at the side and Rossweisse. Soon, once they had finished scanning all over their bodies, they left in a magical puff. Having finished that, Rossweisse multiplied her magical circles and they all combined in the palm of her hand, as she shouted, "Five Swirling Dragons of Destruction!"
Bright light made the super trio back off the attack, just for Lucoa to barge right in and clomp on Crom Cruach tight enough. The pressure on the wound enough to give Crom Cruach more than he bargained for as Lucoa blasted him all the way into the attack of the ravenous dragons.
Crom Cruach blasted his breath back but the quantity was lacking as the dragons continued to tickle his body. "It drains my energy! Splendid magic, valkyrie!" Crom Cruach complimented at her, hair blowing wildly as the blood boiled in his veins.
Vali rushed into Crom Cruach's face with a pyramid of ice, followed by a rife attack of immense demonic power, raining cool daggers against him and trapping him there. "DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE!"
'Don't over do yourself, Vali!' Albion warned him, feeling Vali's body twitch from the mass amounts of power he had to eject each time he stole from Crom Cruach's large reserves. Albion was then watching Sairaorg swoop in and crash into Crom Cruach with a large boulder that shattered and rained onto Crom Cruach, allowing Sairaorg to lay into him.
Crom Cruach still managed to kick both of Sairaorg's arms back, and left him exposed, though IsseI covered the devil-bro by dual wielding his demonic blades against Crom Cruach and using the AIIP in his tail to puncture the first clear wound again.
"Thanks for the blades!" IsseI grunted, making Sairaorg nod as he traded fists with Crom Cruach, with the lion-covered devil trying to hold Crom Cruach back.
Crom Cruach's aura spiked against the two of them, their veins rattling against the boulder. "You'd be wise to use the original Ascalon, Red Dragon Emperor! Or do I have to exert more power!"
"You should focus on your wound!" IsseI answered, a volley of light spears spawning and racing for Crom Cruach's cracked spot.
Easily, they all piled up and were crushed in his hands. Only for a searing sword to join with its counterpart, his eyes widening at seeing the Durandal wielder carrying another blade, her fingers leaving the true Ascalon right into Crom Cruach.
The grin of Crom Cruach made Xenovia's eyes shake. 'This power!' she fearfully remarked, the power idiot in her ticking off all boxes in her danger sense.
Her form disappeared at the next, with Crom Cruach understanding everything that had happened. "Such wonderful allies, too! Though she was wise to leave right away, even with the increased power that valkyrie bestowed onto her," Crom Cruach calmly noted, a lack of anger at being attacked so suddenly.
Green glowing hands reached onto the handle of Ascalon. "Transfer!"
Crom Cruach's arm wobbled, the intruder digging deeper into the dragon, as Crom Cruach ignored any signs of discomfort and moved in a blur, slamming Sairaorg in the face but the latter resisted the knockback. "Not again!" Sairaorg answered back, throwing his head into the fray and clashing against Crom Cruach, golden chips falling off as Crom Cruach's only prominent injury was the minor graze from the surprise attack of Ascalon by IsseI.
Demonic claws grinded against the arm as Crom Cruach grinned. "Those blades... only such fine craftsmanship could allow you to unintentionally flesh out even more power than usual with less drain on your reserves!"
The dragons were distracted by the winding up of the air as a crack in the void was filled by heat-dome blasts that promptly bent Crom Cruach back from their effectiveness. Seeing the brightness emanating from the sudden pause gave IsseI and Sairaorg enough initiative to get out of the way of the attack.
Feeling the downpour of inferno didn't even stop Crom Cruach. In fact, only a maniacal grin came upon his face, back still turned to the attack, and instead directed his heat massacre wave attack towards IsseI and Sairaorg, making them both bust a gut to try and avoid it. "He's not even focusing on the combined assault of the other dragons!" Sairaorg commented, sweat sticking to his skin and the armour. "And the heat is even stronger than before!"
"Sairaorg! I don't think we'll be able to out pace this attack. He's having too much of a good time to stop. Even if his body were to be destroyed, every single bit, Crom Cruach isn't going to stop. The only to do is take it head-on! I'll be counting on the axe form of Regulus to help me against his flames, okay?!"
"You're playing a risky game, partner!" Ddraig warned him.
IsseI nodded. "I am, but that's why I have Sairaorg with me! I'll count on his Longinus to repel the flames long enough for us to boost enough to try and overpower his flames. If our attacks seem to lack the damage to break against his ridiculous resistance, then perhaps his own excited attack can do the trick."
"Understood! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"
Scorching flames reached the boiling point of their feet, with Sairaorg standing his ground and clashing against the attack. "You'll have your chance to overpower him, but I'll need to hold it off!" Sairaorg shouted, straining instantly and coughing, but making sure that he got his message to IsseI.
"TRANSFER!"
Rias conjured up a mass amount of Power of Destruction, and her hands slapped vigorously against the floating orb into it. Visualizing her attack, she continued to mould it with the Bael's bloodline power and use her Gremory talent to condense it down further and further, so much the small ball felt like a black hole in her hand.
"Akeno! I can't hold this for long, so I need you to fly me there!" Rias remarked, flicking her head towards where Vali and the dragon girls were.
Xenovia gripped Rias and sped forward, wings bursting out. "I'm faster with Excalibur Rapidly in my possession, and I'm a Knight of Rias Gremory!" Xenovia remarked, making Akeno and Rias smirk as they allowed her to continue on.
Baraquiel watched, with a weak eye, his daughter using both her holy and lightning attribute. He felt blessed he could watch the moment and allowed himself to fully pass out, 100% sure she was in safe hands, and given a strong power to help protect her. 'I'm glad... he's making good on that promise of his...'
"Toss me!" Rias ordered.
"It's a long way, Rias," Xenovia said.
Rias felt the overwhelming power starting to revolt against the rule of her hands. "I cannot jump the distance so you'll have to toss me!"
Following through with the orders, Rias was catapulted right next to the vortex that Vali created. Free at last, a strong siren went off, and her Bael bloodline trait blared out into the void of Vali and the compression continued to support the attack as it came crashing against the spine of the mighty foe.
Crom Cruach casually persisted through all threats as his breath of doom continued to fire at the two targets down below. 'Dammit! It barely hurt him! Sairaorg, stay strong!' she thought. As much as Rias would have loved to done something, the difference in power was enough to tell her that she'd just get in the way if she tried acting like some sort of heroine. She was long aware those in her Peerage were probably more versatile and stronger than her, and she was fine with that. Her job was more than just that.
"How much longer can you hold?" IsseI asked Sairaorg, seeing the ground slipping closer and closer into Sairaorg; if the ground broke underneath him, it could stumble him just that fraction of a second. And that was all Crom Cruach would have needed to have his flames devour him, bones, body and all.
"I'm just fine!" Sairaorg shouted back, smiling into the smouldering season. Water pricked his eyes but the heat was worthless against the heat of his heart, allowing him to move past any semblance of pain and surpass his limits.
"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!
Standing back and allowing the excess energy to swarm into the nexus of his Cardinal Crimson Queen, IsseI unravelled the two cannons from his energy wings. Like sirens, they blared incessantly and the noise was growing like the power beginning to turn into the cannons as IsseI watched Sairaorg slowly reaching the absolute limit of how much he could hold off.
Glinting like solo stars at the end of a dying universe, IsseI shouted out, and Sairaorg rushed out of the way, allowing the attack to come for IsseI, who was sent flying back from the force of launching the damn attack! A big bang erupting from the middle of it but continuing to clash against each other. The fierce flames of Crom Cruach and radical brilliance of IsseI's Boost-enhanced Crimson Blaster clashed, locked in a fierce battle of dominance and supremacy that radiated across all ages and all battlefields, unnatural sensations pouring into nature.
At the beginning, Crom Cruach's attack proved to be superior in all aspects. The Crimson Blasting lacking the penetrative force to go beyond the widespread wildfire. 'Are all these Boosts seriously not enough to surpass him?! He's barely challenged, and all of them are firing off their attacks at him!'
"Vali! Can you not Divide his attacks more?!" Rossweisse called out to him.
"I can, but this dragon has such a high depth of attacks that I'll quickly overload if I try and quickly reduce his power."
Rossweisse took a moment to think about it. "Where does the excess amount go?!"
"Out of my wings, obviously!" Vali shouted.
Rossweisse began a series of calculations in her head. 'Space and time magic combined should do just fine; perhaps the former would be fine on its own. If I do that, it should stand that it will work out just as fine!' Rossweisse continued to work in her own head, blacking out to the madness outside and pulling all her eggs into the concentration basket at once. 'Vali can use Divide constantly in this state, so it could probably go even quicker.' Rossweisse looked to Vali's vortex he had. 'Do I add it to there or make it separate on its own?' she asked herself, going into a courtroom to decide what would work better.
Having found her solution, Rossweisse sought Vali's aid, her lungs exhaling and inhaling at the smoky effect from the two clashes. "Vali, I want you to continue using Divine Dividing, and I'll make sure your wings are not overloaded. We can use the excess energy against Crom Cruach, especially if our attacks aren't effective, as maybe his own attacks directed towards him will be the trick."
"And you've done all of that just now?" Vali asked her, finding that kind of skill to be more found in those plot armour shows Azazel tried showing him when he was younger.
Rossweisse sighed. "I was Lord Odin's bodyguard once!" she replied back. "If it does fail, then we'll continue what we were doing. Does that work, White Dragon Emperor?" she asked.
Vali looked away. "Very well. I'll begin to Divide him right away, so don't slack behind on me," he spoke, arms spread out and glowing.
The valkyrie nodded as her calculation circles began to flood out and her magical power flowed through them, several Norse runic languages inscribed along them. "I'm all set up, Vali!" Rossweisse called out, also making sure to use the Boost ability to help her plan if Crom Cruach's flames got even more wild than they already were.
"DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE!"
A rotating pouch with the consistency of gum spun around as it syphoned the excess energy of attack, making Vali grin as he continued to shout the White Dragon ability mantra with more fervour and demonic grin splitting his face. "Not bad, valkyrie! I'll definitely be interested in seeing how strong you can become, so don't die!"
Rossweisse sweat dropped at the statement. Should she be happy Vali wanted her not to die? Even if it was only so he could satiate his battle lust. Removing silly questions aside, Rossweisse continued to store up the body of energy and used a form of sealing magic to make sure it didn't erupt suddenly and they'd have to start from square one again.
The scorched air and roars of dragon were the only sounds IsseI was familiar with at this stage as the heat from the stretched out blast duel left uneven pillars melted and deformed like overused candles. Many times did the ground give up on IsseI, who had to resort to shedding some aura out onto the limited standing he had to ensure that his balance did not mess up. The urgency of which he placed it on was like a pedestal of paranoia.
"You've been matching me quite well, Red Dragon Emperor!" Crom Cruach complimented him, feeling the tides change and his attack being pushed up to greet him, even when he added more firepower to it.
A heavy crash made Crom Cruach stutter as IsseI's persisting beam took advantage of that delay provided, and pushed further into Crom Cruach, whose jaw gaped and unloaded more infernal wrath down towards him. Crom Cruach then focused on his surroundings, picking up who was responsible for the attack; any one who could battle affect him in any way made his body itch for a battle. 'The White Dragon Emperor... and a valkyrie... but it's powered by my own energy...'
'He's heavily focused on having a beam struggle with me. If I keep on using Boost, he'll think it's just for my continuous Crimson Blaster attack! This is my chance!'
"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"
Seeing the thinning of Crom Cruach's blast being reawakened, the others sprung in for chip damage. If Crom Cruach had to reignite his mighty beams, it meant something was working. Therefore, everyone on the side lines navigated their attacks from a comfortable distance. The wall of Crom Cruach continuing to take the assault of light spears, holy lightning, Power of Destruction, draconic flames, his own energy as ammo attacks against him, holy sword beams, and much more; all of it done in an attempt to knock Crom Cruach off his game.
So much damage was released against Crom Cruach's back, it was the first part of his clothing to be lost in the ashes of time; a trivial issue, but it did leave his look a bit off-putting. However, the dragon blasted his aura out against the attack and continued to pile the pressure against IsseI's Crimson Blaster, which was slowly edging over Crom Cruach as the latter's attack would suddenly shut down, and Crom Cruach would have to breathe again with the same fervour that he had built up from the long struggle.
Evidently, IsseI was too busy to focus on the workings behind his sudden chance at victory, concentrating more on survival as the power both attacks had were probably more likely to kill him than Crom Cruach. 'Okay, I'm making progress against his beam. Should I use it now, or do I use the Boost on my Crimson Blaster. I've never fired it for this long, and it's definitely straining against me!'
Rossweisse dipped her hand into the pool of excess Crom Cruach power. A Norse magical circle floated over it, along with a dark and white circle. They spun over each other, overlapping at high speeds, rotating, and switching all over the place. Together the three magical circles emitted thin lines that created a large yin and yang symbol complete with a Nordic runes inscribed over it.
"Everyone, I'm giving you all a boost in strength, so charge up and use it all at once as Crom Cruach!" Rossweisse announced through a magical circle; the allies heeding her advice and following suit, as Rossweisse snapped her fingers, and causing the circle to fragment and spearhead like wishing stars to each ally.
Black and gold decorated their auras, and Crom Cruach's heterochromia eyes widened at the technique, as well as the result. 'She can even implement it into her spells! Let's see how I fare!'
Burning black and gold, sparks flew off Crom Cruach as he resumed his fierce beam clash against IsseI, grinning at the lengths they were both going, though he could tell the breaking point was soon coming forth, and only one of them would come out the rewarded for their effort.
"Demonic Glacier Fang!" Vali shouted out, chucking a sharp-cut iceberg and breaking Crom Cruach's guard by the heavy hit. Vali smiled at seeing the effect. "Looks like that works!" Vali raised his hands out, a wheel of circles surrounding him as more icicles of doom began to take aim and rapidly rush at him.
"DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE! DIVIDE!" Albion's voice rung out. "Don't forget about my ability, Crom Cruach!"
Like a group of bullies, the whole lot of them assaulted Crom Cruach's back while he continued to duel against IsseI's Crimson Blaster. Of course, Crom Cruach was aware he could probably move out of the attack, and that would be that. However, Crom Cruach wasn't made to be a bitch! He was the strongest evil dragon, he had come for a fight, he had trained so long! This was his reward for being patience, and Crom Cruach was going to savour every moment of it. If it resulted in his death, what would it matter? Having the time of his life was all that Crom Cruach needed, so by his pride as a dragon, Crom Cruach continued to bare the assault and focus on devouring Ddraig's host in this beam battle.
Xenovia almost dropped as she unleashed another cross-shaped beam with both Durandal and True Excalibur. "I know Excalibur was fully reformed, but this power is absurd. I'll have to thank Rossweisse for the additional boost with that dragon's power. He's managing to take all our hits but he's not even caring. If he's overlooking it, I guess I'm in no position to judge."
Akeno's holy lightning dragons grew thicker in proportions, dark lines around their yellow builds, as she hurled them into Crom Cruach. Immediately, she looked to see her attack had already connected with him. "That fast? I got that much power from that boost, and that dragon is casually expanding more than that," Akeno muttered, sweating at the fact that Crom Cruach was hiding his immense strength.
Rias rubbed her hands rapidly as she shaped her Power of Destruction differently. 'It might be impractical to try something new but I'll use the chance with this power Rossweisse provided!' Rias thought, ignoring how awkward it made her look as she shaped her attack into a drill and aimed it. "Destructive Hell Halberd!" Rias shouted, slipping after she unleashed it due to the immense addition of Power of Destruction spreading out and destroying her platform.
Akeno chuckled, making Rias sigh. "Are you alright, Rias?" she asked, the helmet covering her eyes at the explosion of power. "That boost really is something else."
Rias nodded. "It's also concerning. I'm not sure how strong Crom Cruach is, but with the amount of power he's showing, and the amounts he could be hiding, I fear he'd even give brother a hard time or defeat him!" she gravely stated, making the others snap at such a threat being on Rizevim's side.
Doubts started to swirl. Hypotheticals... If they were defeated, that made things so much easier for Rizevim. Even if they managed to severely damage Crom Cruach, a dragon of his calibre could easily continue on. "Stay strong!" Asia called out, flushed a bit at seeing the others look back at her. "I don't know much but we can trust in them to win this!"
"TRANSFER!" Ddraig called out.
Crom Cruach's eyes narrowed at seeing the blast not thickening again, only to feel his skin pulse, and his skin penetrated by the glowing length of Ascalon. 'It worked!' IsseI thought with a smile, dragging it against his body and whacking the blade into his neck and dragging it right into his mouth and reaching into his throat. 'Of course he happens to still be durable enough to not be pierced!' IsseI cursed, though he couldn't help but be impressed with how durable Crom Cruach had trained himself to be if a boosted dragon-slaying weapon was barely keeping up to its name.
'Fantastic! I couldn't anticipate it right away, but he's managed to damage me yet again!' Crom Cruach thought, miniscule amounts of blood circulating and peeking out every few moments.
Over and over again, Crom Cruach was on the receiving end of all the damage. While those who were already at a lower level weren't posing much of an issue with the addition of his power source into them, those like Vali, Lucoa, Kanna, Ilulu, and Tohru were proving themselves to dampen Crom Cruach's ability by the amount required for IsseI to continue pushing forward until Crom Cruach was dominated.
IsseI smiled at seeing his chance. 'Ddraig... go wild.'
"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"
Green over-riding pulses of energy continued to stream through the marathon-running Crimson Blaster, each time it caressed the blast, the attack broadened in every depth: power, speed, intensity, pressure, weight, energy, width. All the components that could be measured to determine what attribute was superior was put to the test, and IsseI clicked the superiority box for each one.
Drilling against the flaming attack, the spiralling effect left Crom Cruach Cruach with a mountain to climb. Despite IsseI putting his all into the attack, and cornering Crom Cruach's mouth blast, that final edge was missing. 'To think he doesn't have any special abilities! He's only attacking and being attacked, yet I can't even get the upper-hand on him!'
A herald from heaven condemned Crom Cruach, the roaring of Sairaorg Bael echoing as he used the empowerment from Rossweisse to crush Crom Cruach's guard. The final key was put in place, and Crom Cruach's jaw was snapped shut, but he still resisted with his hands and flared his aura out.
"Lion Break Barrage!" Sairaorg shouted, treating Crom Cruach's back to a drum massage that carried on for what felt like minutes on end. The tough wall of training, meeting the tenacious fists of efforts. Both methods met each other, and Sairaorg's fists were winning out as he endlessly threw his arms in a never-ending cycle until they stopped moving all together. Even then, Sairaorg would hard press to find a way to continue.
Finally, the efforts paid off as Crom Cruach felt the efforts of the Ascalon annoy him enough to make his guard break and rush off into space with the pure propelling power of the Boosted Crimson Blaster.
'I got too focused and I can't escape!' Sairaorg cursed, his tenacity biting him in the back, although his worries were eased as Vali swooped in and grabbed him, dropping him right after, to which Sairaorg rolled through the air before stamping down on it; he looked up. "Thanks, Vali!"
Vali huffed at the Bael devil. "I don't need it."
The clouds were rushed out of the way from the nuclear detonation of the attack, with IsseI panting as they all watched the gathering vortex of dust and other matter, with the rock debris being shot all over the place; IsseI had to use Ascalon to split them before they gave him a headache.
Crom Cruach's figure was in the air, with Tohru immediately covering both hands in flames and proceeding to rapidly wail on him, use the sledgehammer technique until he laid in a crater. Immediately afterwards, she inhaled with her back bent, and threw it forward, allowing the force of a shooting star to climb down the crater and assault Crom Cruach's body.
"Take that!" Tohru shouted.
'Petty much,' IsseI thought, with the others having mixed faces; Kanna, Ilulu, and Lucoa had smug smirks on their faces at how Tohru could be; the rest shared a look of slight confusion; and Vali and Sairaorg were still focused.
Gripping the rubble, Crom Cruach revealed himself to only have the lower part of his clothing intact, showcasing his lithe form, each angle perfect and cut to the dimensions of a super model. Minor bruises teased his body and face, but Crom Cruach showcased no other symptoms of damage from the attacks received.
If anyone had super hearing, they would have heard Crom Cruach's leaping heart against the bounds of muscle the dragon possessed in his humanoid form. The dragon raising his confused hands, the fingers shaking as he took in the situation. His slow, bouncing steps setting a train of trepidation thoughts into their minds, while Crom Cruach appeared to be in his own world with content crinkling on his eyes and nose.
The sunshine streak that ran through his whole body overflowed the at the heated heart, pouring out into the few chuckles that came out of Crom Cruach. 'Manga tells me that this means he's probably not going down any time soon.'
'I think you're overreacting, partner.'
Rias gathered her Power of Destruction discreetly, slow and steady as to not have Crom Cruach surprise her out of nowhere. 'Everyone knows that this is so anime, but all I have to do is break the rules and attack right now.'
Crom Cruach's joy came out in waves of a concertina, evolving more into gleeful chuckles as his fingers gripped the side of his face while his whole body shook with each deep gravel of joy he let out; ecstasy overtaking his vocal chords, erupting more violently with each passing moment. However, as menacing as it was, the contentment was always laced clearly enough for everyone to detect.
"YES! THIS IS IT! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! MY EXISTENCE IS BRIMMING WITH JOY! ALL THOSE YEARS TRAINING! IT'S ALL BEEN BROUGHT FORTH FOR THIS MOMENT! IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER!"
Crom Cruach's aura permeated through the very air, the intensity at which it broke out made it appear to have sided with him and only the gold quaking glow of it made that distinction clear, each step of his fracturing the floor below, and making him slowly sink with every twitching stride, no care given to the surroundings.
"I'll finish it quickly!" Vali shouted, his hand stretched out in the same manner that sealed Pluto's fate.
"Compression Divider—!"
Crom Cruach grinned, the next moment... The ultimate move of Vali's Empireo Juggernaut Overdrive shattered like glass, as well as Vali's hope to finish him off, and Vali's visage was a distant memories to the others when they saw the speed at which he vanished off to, even quicker than that one instance when Asia was teleported to the Dimensional Gap.
"Vali!" Rossweisse called out, her head unable to track the stages at which Vali was close to Crom Cruach, then the stage where he had been bitch-slapped a country mile and out of everyone's reach.
'Faster than light,' Kanna mentally muttered in shock, like Rossweisse and the others, unable to track the distance Vali covered from Crom Cruach's single attack.
Next to feel the wrath of Crom Cruach was IsseI, who was mercilessly slapped silly once by Crom Cruach's tail, and the resounding sonic boom that followed was proof off the power behind it; the second Heavenly Dragon tossed like a joke, with his leg sticking out and twitching, his whole body uprooted like a vegetable.
Rias stopped her charging when she saw her lover casually yeeted to ten different universes with the anchored appendage of Crom Cruach. "Fuck!" she uncharacteristically cursed. "I'd do nothing but direct his wrath if I tried to attack, and it wouldn't bode well on us."
Akeno put a hand on her best friend's shoulders. "If you understand that enough, then you should know that you are already helping. It wouldn't be good if you suddenly got us into a problem if you let your emotions flood out."
Xenovia gripped Durandal. "Are we to just wait?! I know we are unable to assist them, but staying like statues does not bode well for me either. The Heavenly Dragons and Sairaorg are fighting there for their lives! Even if our attacks are useless, we mustn't freeze and watch."
Koneko grabbed Xenovia's wrist, making her turn to the petite Senjutsu user. "I understand how you feel, Xenovia. But we'll have our moment to intervene. We won't be stuck watching forever, and our parts will be played! What we must do is wait for the opportunity to come."
Kuroka nodded. "Exactly what my sister said, nya. Just looking at his power should tell you that everything we do will be like ants tickling him. If any of you want to fight him, I won't waste my strength stopping you. Just know it'll be the first and last mistake you make; he could finish it before you can say your prayers," Kuroka darkly spoke, lacking playful tones and tapping her fingers nervously against herself.
Sairaorg's eyes were locked out of Crom Cruach's blinding speed, and pain pulsated through every pore in his body, as Crom Cruach rammed both his fists against Sairaorg's chest plate, the lamenting of the lion sealed inside clear as Sairaorg felt a flow of blood exit out his throat almost faster than the speed at which he was rocketing back at. His body bouncing against multiple surfaces, and leaving a Sairaorg-shaped crater against a rock formation.
Rage flooded Lucoa as she took to the skies, aiming at Crom Cruach, and outpouring divine wrath at the gleeful Crom Cruach. His whole vision taking in the torrent wave of navy blue and Castleton green, with a yellow core shining from within. The message was telling Crom Cruach, loud and clear, he wasn't getting away without taking her Aztec anger.
Crom Cruach didn't even bother taking a deep inhale, and his attack was instantly clashing against Lucoa's own breath. This time, his aura was more narrowed against him, flowing up and supporting the powerful pillar he was releasing. "Entertain me more, Quetzalcoatl!" Crom Cruach shouted out, expelling a fiercer amount of flames compared to his lengthy beam blast against IsseI's Crimson Blaster.
Lucoa's eyes widened at her attack barely contending against his, as she watched Crom Cruach's flames eat away with her divine attack casually. The other dragons tried to intervene but Crom Cruach put a stop to the possibility of that occurring by increasing the range of his unleashed torrid tower, even working to shield him from those who might try and attack him from the side, only to be met with a barricade of flames.
'Just how much power was Crom Cruach hiding?! I can barely hold on while he's casually overpowering me and expending so much just to stop distractions!' A sombre moment rained down on her; she was sure she was passionate about stopping the ramifications that came with war, yet Crom Cruach's eagerness and fulfilment of his desires trampled on what Lucoa felt was a resilient resolve.
"TREASURE SUMMONING!"
Crom Cruach was glowing gold, but his aurelian aura was glitter in comparison to the heavenly gates that spawned all around him. His black pupil was filled with the threats of spears, swords, sabres, halberds, daggers. It was all various and endless, and all of it was aiming at Crom Cruach, whose breath attack sailed across every point in time to counter the treasure trove of vicious armoury.
The rain of missiles were enough in number and substantial strength for them to punch Crom Cruach's enflamed figure. Combined with Lucoa's outrage powering into the blast breath, it disrupted Rizevim's bodyguard enough for the beams to explode, and Lucoa was fast enough to slither off to safety.
"Thank you, Fafnir!" Lucoa called out to the Dragon King, the latter simply nodding and seething at the opponent ahead.
Smoke swished around Crom Cruach, which he promptly deal with by the flex of his dragon wings. Scratches dirtied them but his aura was burning brightly at the presence of Fafnir joining the battle.
Crom Cruach's smirk engulfed his full face. "Fafnir, too! Is this the season of serendipity?! First Albion and Ddraig! Then came Quetzalcoatl! The daughter of Damocles and Kimun! And now a Dragon King! Who knew it would end up with such joyous reunions?! It's been a long time! How have you been?! I remember hearing about your death at the hands of Siegfried, but you are back! No doubt the Norse gods played their part in your revival!"
"Stop this madness already, Crom Cruach!" Fafnir growled out to his fellow dragon, staring down the evil dragon with scorching disdain.
Crom Cruach's laugh echoed throughout the sun-dried plains. "And why would I, Fafnir?! Such a feast has been prepared for me! I've been enjoying myself like I've never had fun since almost a millennium! Of all the dragons, you know what it's like to obsessively hunt for something you want, well this is my answer! Even the greatest liquor"—Quetzalcoatl cringed at the memory those words brought—"tastes like water when compared to the joys of battle!" Crom Cruach brazenly explained.
"You're mad, Crom Cruach! Will you not cease this madness, or shall I kill you right here and now?! The harm you'll bring will only make things worse!" Fafnir shouted, opening his mouth, and releasing his hoard of weapons once again. In addition, they were laced with his signature flame breath.
"A foolish question I won't answer!" Crom Cruach shouted back, rapidly dispatching the attack while dancing in the frying pan. "Flames of this calibre won't even serve as a bath, Golden Dragon Monarch!" Crom Cruach angrily shouted.
The Crescent Circle Dragon's critique was answered by Lucoa, Ilulu, Tohru and Kanna's combined attacks burdening his lone shoulder, as it was soon bombarded by a concentrated wave of weapons attacking that area. The first clear wound becoming more lucid with each barrage of attacks.
Crom Cruach grinned at the challenge and proceeded to burn his aura out more viciously, releasing flaming flares towards those present. The crazy prominence forced Lucoa to use her whole body in order to protect those who couldn't survive it, making her cry out in pain at the heavy damage the area-of-effect attack.
"Sorry you had to take so much damage, Quetzalcoatl! Asia-tan should help you recover easily!" Fafnir called out.
Crom Cruach perked up at the odd calling. "Asia? You mean that there is a healer in the midst of this battle?" Crom Cruach spoke out, only to be immediately flamed after he uttered those words, and steam shrouding Crom Cruach.
"If you dare, Crom Cruach...!"
Crom Cruach laughed. "Like I'd do something so weak! I'm not like Rizevim! If you have a healer, that's even more reason for me not to stop her! It means I'll get to keep on fighting all of you endlessly! I can beat you over and over again!" Crom Cruach madly shouted back, grabbing some of the spawned weapons, eyes tracking his target, and throwing them all at fast speeds and in different fashions; such as kicking a spear.
An arc of slices allowed IsseI to pluck his head out of the ground. "Ow! My back!" IsseI massaged the sore spot. "Even though I was in my strongest form, that attack still messed me over. If I hadn't unlocked this form, I'd have probably be disabled from Crom Cruach's attack!"
'Partner! As much as it is worrying to say, lying would be worst. This fight might be above all of you. I'm not sure how it happened, but Crom Cruach has vastly improved. He's mighty, maybe stronger than me and Albion in our prime. That is the dragon you are faced with! Don't forget that Rizevim is still the main problem that you face.'
Growling at how much bigger their problems had become due to one dragon, IsseI turned to Vali Lucifer, the latter shaking his head in frustration at the power they were faced with. "To think my strongest attack was shattered like that! How can I expect to beat the shit out of that prick?!" Vali grunted out.
"For now, you'll have to using Divide as normal. But calm down, Vali. He may have broken the Compression Divider, but it will have an effect. An opportunity will come for you to be able to use it, and you'll cease it, won't you?!" Albion asked him.
Vali flared his aura for battle. "Of course! There's nothing else to it! It's never a matter of it, only when!" the host of Albion responded.
Rocks dumped all over Sairaorg's head as he slowly reared himself back, wiping the lane of blood near his lips. "Regulus, are you okay?" he asked, the latter quickly confirming that he was still up and running for battle. Nodding, Sairaorg carefully stood himself up, gasping for air as he clutched the chest plate. 'At the rate that things are going, I'm going to breakdown giving it my all!'
IsseI clicked his teeth. "Rias!" he shouted, getting her attention. "We have to do it!" IsseI called out, being careful not to let any further, unnecessary details spill out. Crom Cruach's battle intuition and adaptability was a frightening force to be reckoned with, and they had experienced it multiple times.
Rias was taken aback, shades falling on her face. Her eyes curtained at the blazing energy Crom Cruach expressed outward. Fafnir getting ready to attack again, while Lucoa was forcing herself to make a stand for the fifth time.
"More! Entertain me more!" Crom Cruach ordered.
Seeing that the option was forced out of her hand, Rias summoned a magical circle for communications. "We were supposed to save this for Rizevim, but we've got no choice now. Use it!" she ordered.
Stalking menacingly, Crom Cruach hiked towards the group. His tail wagging across the air, and smashing debris into dust. "Now... who will attack me this time? Or will I need to take the first blow?!" Crom Cruach questioned, making the others tense, while his eyes raced towards the endless possibilities; his body quaking with excitement and indecisiveness.
The crackling of air made him stop, the noise spreading louder. Despite this, the noise was the only clear thing Crom Cruach was able to sense, as a figure in a knight-like armour with aura-blasting boosters briefly spawned for his black and gold pupils to see. At that very moment, the ghost was real, driving the bloody blade of Gram into his shoulder; the bane blade attacking the very same shoulder Ascalon thrashed at.
"I didn't think I'd be using my Drag Propulsion Armour in this way," Yuuto muttered, channelling his demonic power to try and sharpen the effects, and gripping the handle hard enough to bruise his hands. 'I felt like I was about to be thrown off just by attacking him, and it's not even fully lodged in!'
"Gram," Fafnir muttered, remembering the weapon all too well. After all, it was Siegfried's weapon used to slay him.
Crom Cruach looked in surprise at the newcomer who had attacked him with a dragon-slaying sword and managed to attack the dragon faster than anyone else had; no excuse that it came out of nowhere.
Still, it was no problem to the grinning giant, who quickly recovered and broke free. The presence of his jumping hand urging Yuuto's instinct to swim him away as fast as possible, reluctantly leaving Gram still lodged into his arm. Despite Yuuto trying to run away, and Gram still sinking into his arm, Crom Cruach paid it no mind and continued to chase Yuuto in an attempt to crush him into pace. "Those who are swifter afoot are more likely to be feeble!"
"That may be the case, but I've already done my job!" Yuuto shouted, brandishing Dáinsleif and summoning sharks of ice to stunt Crom Cruach.
While useless against the force of Crom Cruach's constant charge, the moment served to misdirect the dragon. His eyes only realizing the massive chain of white lightning until it was already banging his face in quickening succession and exploding like the mother of all flashbangs.
Akeno's six fallen angel wings totalled eight, thanks to the inclusion of the two from her dragon armour. Although she was garbed up, her slow tilting body movements made it clear she had used most of her power into that one attack.
Luckily, Crom Cruach wasn't completely safe from the effect. A small staggering circulated around his body, enough that the moment he tried to rip and tear, a purple sheen took over his body, and his twitching melded into the art of being a statue. "Time stop?" Crom Cruach muttered, a small smirk at the esoteric power being able to paralyze him in place.
A feeling of gravity focused its hate onto Crom Cruach as a mountain of invariable darkness swam across, filling the area around Crom Cruach. It violently detonated from underneath him, smacking him with the claws of countless dark beasts, holding separate parts of his body hostage.
"This power..." Crom Cruach muttered, looking to see the cross-dressing dhampir glaring at him with a full blood ruby pupil.
"Thank you, Xenovia-sempai!" Gasper told her, the power idiot holding both Excalibur and Durandal, which she slammed into the ground.
Xenovia nodded. 'Using Nightmare and Transparency all over the place is definitely a strain. It's a good thing I was compatible to receive a Red Dragon Armour!' Xenovia thought, too focused to admire her future husband, and that all the sex they had actually been beneficial in the long run of things.
"VRITRA PROMOTION!"
Crom Cruach didn't even get a chance to think further as his attention was hooked on by pillars of black and purple flames wrapping around him like chains and absorbing his power, bulking up the lines. "You've come to play, too, Vritra!" Crom Cruach spoke, grinning at the visage
"He's so damn tough! It's taking everything I have, and I can barely hold him down, even with Gasper's help!" Genshirou screamed out.
The bipedal black beast skipped towards Crom Cruach, with Sae behind him. "Balance Breaker!" Jin growled out, his form levitating and a vortex of pitch-black surrounding the area before exploding and revealing Jin to be standing on two lithe legs. His look developed into a full fledged merciless hound; six swashing tails.
The energy and effort required to unleash was a burden, but Sae gave all her strength for the just cause. The memory of Tobio, and how many times she saw him do it, firmed her resolve as her and Jin masterminded Gasper's shadows to go from just the negative ink to the furthest pits of the abyss.
'I don't care if I'm not strong enough to stay by the sides of those in this war, but I want to be able to give it my all!' Sae told herself, boiling down the pain and fatigue she had to the biting of the lip and creasing of the eye.
A valley of countless blades grew across the beasts biting into Crom Cruach, further shedding the dragon's skin, and more than just a couple drops of blood were present. Crom Cruach wings twitched as he continued to fight against the chronostasis chains, only for his wings to also be breached by the blackened blades and tusche tine talons of Jin's beasts.
Black and white shrouded the next two dragon armour wearing girls to attack as both Kuroka and Koneko came crashing in, their two tails rimming with Senjutsu. Under normal circumstances, they wouldn't have dared touch the evil dragon, but seeing him locked in a cage of time boosted both their confidence and the actual Boost ability granted to them. Now they were slamming their hands aroudn the edges of the giant mass of death formed around Crom Cruach, blaring screams as multiple seals began to suit up the dragon and add wave after wave of suppression seals.
"T-this is exactly what I've been needing! A challenge!" Crom Cruach rambled out, his snickering shocking the duo nekoshou, and making them quickly back off after they had use their Boosted Senjustu to create the seal.
'Such a frightening aura!'
'I'm glad I'm not fighting him, nya.'
The Boost chant echoed around Rossweisse this time as she took to the skies, hands raised down on Crom Cruach, and countless sealing runes materialized around the prison. Layers of muscled seals clung towards Crom Cruach, suffocating the evil dragon, and leaving his form nowhere in sight. All that was left was a void cube on the battlefield.
"That should be enough to hold him down," Rossweisse panted out.
"He's been fully immobilized!" Rias announced to the others.
IsseI stayed on guard. 'As nice as that would be, I don't think it'll be over that quick. Plus Rizevim is still nowhere to be seen!'
Vali eyed the empty cube, then looked towards Rossweisse. 'So this is the abilities of someone proficient in Norse magic... They'll make strong opponents!' Vali thought, though his senses were still tingling, not too positive that Crom Cruach had been fully taken care of.
'If the seal holds, me and Regulus won't have to go further,' Sairaorg thought, getting his breath back slowly.
"Back away!" Asia shouted through her magical cirle. "I'm feeling something that I've never felt before!" she screamed out. 'I have to go there myself!' Asia thought to herself, flowing towards the main battlefield at unprecedented speeds with her Balance Breaker.
The chilling chords of Crom Cruach's laughter reverberated through the ultimate prison, and sank right into their bones, making them freeze up like a drooling dinosaur staring down an ant as if it was the only meal left.
"I'm truly joyful! I never thought such younglings, even if they have the backings of ancient dragons and powerful artifacts, would push me THIS far! Following Rizevim wasn't a mistake! Because I've never enjoyed a fight quite like this in my whole life!"
An extreme ebullition followed the ominous words, as Genshirou screamed and Jin howled from the flaring up aura of Crom Cruach. Sae stood like a statue, unable to proclaim the claws of fear that held her body in place as she, alongside everyone else, watched in horror at the prison CRACKING and then exploding by the titanic darkness that soon followed, only to be made worse by the screeching of the high heavens and hell!
Appraising the ants was the true form of Crom Cruach; his size equally double that of Tohru's. His heavy hide formed perfectly through an eternal loop of roped muscles, all tightly stitched together to form the absolute behemoth. The scales were like an armour of thorns, the dark blades jutting out at every turn and corner; some in the form of crescents or bent crescents. Burning amber rode every centimetre of the massive monster; crawling onto the beginning of his wings, the grey interior helped add to the macabre energy they exuded. Ripping through the ground was the thorny tipped tail, branching out blades from each segment of the scale.
The heavens squirmed under the beaming beacon of despair Crom Cruach had become, a sickening smile grafted onto his new form. Every outpour of his otherworldly aura shaking the air fiercely, and with the eager swinging of his black barbed back blade, violent hurricanes rampaged against all of them. The force was extreme enough to send Lucoa's massive form flying and crashing down, with everyone else falling short against the extreme conditions set by a simple flex of the black beast.
IsseI, Vali and Sairaorg resisted well against the challenging weather conditions set out by Crom Cruach, mainly standing tall and only slightly twitching against the force of it. Some of the dragon girls put up against the for
Rias strained against the force of nature, her jaw heavily contracting as she fought for the prize of oxygen. Her knees clattering against each other, aiding Rias in struggling against the gravitational fear exerted.
"Rias! Get out of there now! You're gonna die if you try and face something like that! His powers are reaching all the way to us!" Sona warned Rias, her bones melting under the energy signature branching out to her surroundings.
Sona turned to see Seekvaira marching in and entering the command centre with a distressed look on her face, with her Peerage exhausted and behind her. "Seekvaira?! What happened?!" she asked.
"We found him!" Seekvaira shouted out, making Sona snap her head back to look at Seekvaira if she had heard correctly. She pointed at the screen, the screen quickly changing after the information she transferred went through. Once done, it showed an area a few kilometers away from the battlefield. Multiple layers of protection spells swarming him as Rizevim looked at Crom Cruach crushing everyone with an amused smirk.
Shock seized Sona briefly before she quickly screamed the revelation of Rizevim's location to the others. 'Good, they are getting up,' Sona thought, worried that Crom Cruach was going to easily wipe the floor with them. "Now would be the best time to regroup and wait for reinforcements—!"
"We can't afford to do that, Sona!" IsseI called out to her from the magical circle, taking a moment to get his breath back. "If that motherfucker runs then all we did for today would be for nothing!" IsseI responded, hearing the hesitation hit Sona.
Sona was about to talk but was beaten to the microphone. "I agree!" Tohru shouted out, making the group look to the perfectly dandy dragon maid; all her injuries removed by Asia, who was standing atop her in her Balance Breaker, gasping but staring resolutely at the titanic form of Crom Cruach. "If my mate isn't going to retreat, then neither am I! So what if our enemy is stronger than us?! I'm not gonna run just for that, and I'm definitely not gonna use that as an excuse when I tell Elma later that I couldn't defeat our opponent while she could!"
Ilulu growled in response to Tohru's declaration. "Took the words right out of my mouth!"
Electricity buzzed around Kanna as she glared at Crom Cruach. "He's not going to survive our attacks!" Kanna darkly proclaimed.
Lucoa's form slithered in the air. "Tohru's right about this. We've all come together, so we won't allow you to have your way so easily, Crom Cruach!"
Crom Cruach grinned. "I wouldn't have it any other way, Quetzalcoatl!"
"The day we aren't fighting for pride of for ourselves, this is a battle for the peace of the world itself! So we can't afford to back down, even if it does cost us the ultimate price! We might have a personal reason to fight!" Rias declared, with Irina clutching her blade and Sae's grip on Jin tightening. "But at the end of the day we're all fighting this battle for each other! Dedicate your hearts!"
Shrieks of madness broke out and darkness detonated upwards as Gasper's Balor form materialized. "I'll keep fighting as long as IsseI-sempai and Rias are!" Gasper spoke out, carrying a deep tone under his usually higher-pitched voice.
Crom Cruach roared in response to the new challenger, his face morphing feral. "BALOR! It's fitting you come at the apex of my greatest battle, given our story together, but I've long outgrown the chains of you, my once-master!" Crom Cruach passionately spoke out, once again, showcasing no real hate but more like he was greeting an old friend of rival.
Accursed flames struck out once again to Crom Cruach, and he looked to see Vritra resurging out for more. "I'm not giving up either!" Genshirou shouted throughout the flames. "E-even if I can't have her heart, I'm still Sona Sitri's Pawn, and so I won't even back down even before such a monster like yourself, Crom Cruach! Not when my fellow classmates and Peerage members are fighting to the end in this war!"
Vritra bellowed in approval. "Well done on holding such a strong will, Genshirou Saji! You've finally achieved it! BALANCE BREAKER!" With the echoing words of evolution, the titanic form of the Dragon King was suddenly sucked inwards, condensing and cooling out into a jet-black armour around Genshirou. "Malebolge Vritra Promotion!"
Shouting out in newfound power, countless tendrils laced with curses and prison flames shot out at one of Crom Cruach's wings, making the strongest evil dragon look in surprise at the attack not going at his whole body. Genshirou's scream echoed the effect of his tendrils, as they rapidly reached out to his allies and beams of energy soon leaked towards the allies at a hurrying pace
Amused at the attempt, Crom Cruach made sure not to allow them to have anymore fun as he opened his mouth to let out a devastating beam but empty fumes were burped out as Vali stood out with a smirk on his face, the effects of the Compression Divider making Crom Cruach look in surprise at the powerful tool. "You shouldn't forget about the rest of us! Even if our attacks do nothing against you, I'm still more than capable of halving your attacks into nothing."
Distracted by Vali's bold declaration, Crom Cruach felt Ilulu and Tohru latch onto his other wing, effectively stumbling him. Seeing the shift in balance, Kanna and Lucoa unleashed a combined breath blast on his main body, making Crom Cruach grunt out against it, with Gasper contiuning to join in and keeping him pinned down; the ferocious falchions of Ilulu and Tohru trying to devour the dark wing.
"We just need to keep him in place for long enough!" Rias shouted, summoning her Power of Destruction and unleashing it in the form of a serpentine dragon to clash against the Herculean hide of Crom Cruach.
Sairaorg's body rumbled with his energetic exhale and he walked forward, past IsseI. "Go on ahead, IsseI," he said.
IsseI looked at Sairaorg in surprise. "We'll need everyone to beat Crom Cruach, won't we?!" IsseI answered back, feeling uncomfortable about not aiding, given what his Sacred Gear had helped provide him with.
"If he runs, everything we have done would have been for nothing," Sairaorg uttered, making IsseI's memory hearken back to his own words a few chaotic moments ago. "This fight won't end as long as Rizevim is not defeated. Aside from Yuuto Kiba, you are the fastest of us all, and you also stand a better chance one-on-one with a Super Devil."
IsseI couldn't fight against that logic but he turned towards Vali, knowing the grudge he held against his grandfather, who growled in annoyance. "I can't leave because I'm the only one that can keep Crom Cruach's devastating attacks in check with my Divide," Vali explained to him. "Lucky you," he sarcastically joked.
"Don't worry, IsseI!" Sairaorg told IsseI. "There's no way we are losing this battle. I've finally gotten my mother back and the Underworld— No, the whole world's future is at stake, and for the sake of a world where I can give her a future to smile, I'll never be defeated here!" Sairaorg declared with an earnest smile.
'That certainly helped,' IsseI thought.
"Regulus!" he cried out, the golden lion already tuning into his master's wishes. "It's time we give it our all!"
"This body, this soul, even if it falls into the endless ravine!"
"My Lord and I, we will exhaust this body and this soul and rise up the endless royal road!"
"Raze, truimph, play and shine!"
"This is the body of a Demonic beast!"
"Lodged on top of my fist is the glorious imperial authority!"
"Dance!"
"Dance!"
"Bloom!!!"
"Breakdown The Beast, Climb Over!!!"
Acknowledging his King's wishes, the limits were released with the chanting, an overflow of power surprising the dragons and everyone else as Breakdown the Beast was unleashed. The Regulus Rey Leather Rex Imperial Purpure enveloped the golden armour in a dazzling shade of purple., the titanic release of touki also dyed in the galaxy colour.
"Go!" he shouted out to IsseI, then taking towards Crom Cruach with the primal power of the King of the Jungle. Immediately, the difference was rung out for everyone as Sairaorg's charge towards the dragon resulted in his fist making the evil dragon's head snap upwards in a combination of pain, shock and joy.
IsseI nodded at the display, seeing that they were in safe hands. "Defeat him, Sairaorg!" With that final challenge on display from his rival, Sairaorg grinned as IsseI took off like a crimson car towards the final boss.
Sae stared at everyone pelting Crom Cruach with their strongest attacks. Her fist bound itself together as she slowly felt smaller and smaller in the grand scheme of the battle. "Should I even be here? I'm not even helping!"
Her concerns were overshadowed by the rising form of Jin. "I need your help, Sae," Jin told her, making the girl look at the reincarnated Longinus if he meant it. "In my current state, I'm unable to help further in this battle, but with the power of the Abyss Side... it just might be enough to tip the scales in our favour."
"Is this why you asked me to support you, even if I'm the weakest member of the Slash Dog team?" she inquired.
The wolf-man nodded to her. "I can no longer use that power without Tobio, but if it's you, Sae, who has been with me and my last master from the beginning, it may just be enough. The principle works similarly to how the Nemean Lion and his King both need each other to unleash their maximum power."
Closing her eyes, Sae looked back to everything happening around her as she sunk deeper into her psyche. Her friends came into her mind, comrades she could rely on... Tobio, the closest friend she ever had and someone she respected... finally, the sweet embrace of IsseI with her and the other team.
At last, her eyes awoke from their slumber. "I'll lend you all my power, Jin. Even if it means my life. Whatever helps brings the new tomorrow for everyone!" she declared, holding Jin and letting the shadows wash her body, consuming her.

"Perfectus Tenebrae Lykaon et Fortis Densus Laelaps!"
With the announcement of the Abyss Side of the Balance Breaker, a dark deluge—even one more fearsome than Gasper's usage of Balor's power—flooded the area and the new shadow beasts packed the area until it stood atop of Gasper.
"I'll help you," Sae and Jin spoke in unison, her form covered by the darkness provided as it covered mountains and grew to the side of it.
Both Longinus users nodded in understanding as they combined their amazingly compatible powers and let loose a veritable flood of shadow beasts and dogs wielding the burning blades of Ame-no-Ohabari. Like the skin of a hedgehog, it was all over Crom Cruach, and his genuine groans brought out hope among those watching the seemingly invulnerable individual feel droplets of defeat.
Howling at the agony, Crom Cruach still found his urges not dropping one bit. "Yes! This is it! A true fight should be to the very end with our lives on the line, no point in holding anything back!"
Just as he praised them, Crom Cruach held the barbed blade and was ready to make a clean slate of blood and bodies.
Except a furious Fafnir crashed against his tail, reeling his head back, his face dined against the tail; his claws seeping in to help make sure his unpalatable meal didn't escape his grasp. Under the grip of the Golden Dragon, the treacherous tail fell limp as the cry of Crom Cruach was followed by a massive burst of aura.
"It's not like you to be so risky about your own safety, Fafnir! Where has this boldness been hiding?! I'd have fought you much sooner if that was the case!" Crom Cruach warned the fellow dragon, heavily focusing his power onto the single point and trying to pay Fafnir back for the broken tail, though he did consider it an honourable wound by the great Dragon King.
Crom Cruach's eyes narrowed at seeing Fafnir remain unscathed from his attack. A quick flame breath was unleashed against the inferior opponent, but Crom Cruach's eyes widened at seeing Fafnir relentless and not even having steaming scales, causing him to register the miniature form of Asia standing atop the Dragon King's head.
Her Balance Breaker had mysteriously fused with her own set of the Red Dragon Armour, further advancing the absurd healing power to the extreme and cladding Asia in both grand gold and regal red. "I'm not going to let you hurt any of my family regardless of whatever happens to me!" Asia shouted out, nervously facing the disaster dragon but holding her will together.
"Admirable bravery, young one! But how long can you last against me?!" Crom Cruach posed ominously, blaring out his aura to boiling degrees and easily stopping the fire breaths against him. "I can see why you managed to tame Fafnir with such determination!" Crom Cruach spoke, feeling Fafnir grip him tighter at calling out his master; something that made Crom Cruach even more determined and eager to try and break free.
Sucking in his aura, Vali sprung into action. His vocal chords stretching out as he used the power of his Empireo Juggernaut Overdrive to the limit and shut down Crom Cruach's aura from existence, a small smirk on his face as Vali panted from the strain. "If you think your power alone will be enough to make us back down, you're overestimating yourself, Crom Cruach!"
"Then show me how wrong I am, Vali Lucifer and his allies!" Crom Cruach called out to them, spreading his wings against the force of Ilulu and Tohru, surprising them at the amount of force that Crom Cruach still had on display as his golden aura spread through his charcoal body and rapidly flew off into sparking meteors that required high-level evasion to stay safe from.
Xenovia clutched both Durandal and Excalibur as she carved up the falling boulders that came crashing down. "I'll make sure to take care of most of them, but I can't promise that some might not escape my reach. There's a lot of them!"
Holding Excalibur, she began to use the power of the Ruler. An orange aura came from Excalibur as all the comets were linked together by a glowing light, which Xenovia directed towards Crom Cruach.
Akeno used the Boost to argument her holy lightning dragon into a durable attack that sizzled and broke the falling earth into chunks of dirt, harmlessly floating before being drifted into the open air.
Still far behind him, IsseI took note of the chaos erupting as winds chased his back but it didn't stop him from flying fast in the air. "How's everyone doing so far, Sona?" he asked, whether it was a dire situation or not, IsseI steeled himself for what the result might be.
"Everyone is mostly doing fine. The forces in standby at Heaven and the Underworld are reporting no attacks and they should be joining the main fight soon as we are winning while keeping our losses low. Only the fight in China with the leaders seems to be escalating out of control, so I sent Team Vali and the original Sun Wukong and Yu Long out to go help prevent the collateral damage from spilling into the city. Some of the mountains have already vanished from how far things have gone out."
"That's good, then! I can focus on that bastard now that I don't have to be overly concerned with finishing the battle quick!"
"IsseI, you should probably wait!" Sona called out to him.
IsseI groaned. "Why should I, Sona?! Won't Rizevim try and move if he sees me coming towards him?! I can't let him go, not when I can reach him! He's too slippery to give up chase on him now, Sona!"
"That may be true, IsseI, but you might need support because we still aren't aware of Rizevim's powers. He was capable of killing Canis Lykaon's wielder so easily, which means he isn't someone to be trifled with."
"It doesn't matter, Sona! I'm just here to beat his ass regardless of what he does! It's the one thing I can do!" IsseI's eyes zoomed in at the target. "I see him, Sona! I'm engaging, stay safe!" he told her.
The shattering sigils rained glass around the Red Dragon Emperor as his twin demonic blades pulsed with the intent to kill; IsseI gave one final message to Sona that he wouldn't die to help ease her worries that tiny bit, and it left him with his complete focus directed to Rizevim.
Rizevim met IsseI's cold glare with a hot and cold reply, a mix of frowning and smirking. He turned his back away from his adversary. "I was hoping to just stand and watch Crom Cruach murder you all into a meat paste; it was going to be really, really, really, super-duper great!" he rambled, then sharply cutting in a circle, and meeting the Red Dragon Emperor. "But it's also very fitting, almost a gesture of kind kismet, that YOU, the greatest hurdle to my now ruined planned suffered! Therefore, you are going to become a corpse before my very own hands, so do try and entertain me while I enjoy making you suffer myself! You took everything from me!"
The cold threat only whistled IsseI's eyes multiple times. "I don't even know who you are! And what the hell are you going on about?!" IsseI asked angrily.
Rizevim's fingers spasmed as they soon were locked in and the sounds of straining spoke from his tightly knotted fists. "You... you filthy idiot! You don't know what you've done?! You really, really, really don't know what you've done!"
"That's why I asked the question, idiot!"
Rizevim giggled maniacally at the insult, straightening up. "Very well! Before I kill you, I'll delight your last request with an explanation! I may have been born as a descendant of Lucifer, like those other devils, but I didn't have an interest in such a thing like world domination or taking revenge for and with the other Satans. Very much so that I ignored that fun civil war that was had, and allowed those other fake devils to live!"
'He's speaking so much fucking shit right now,' IsseI thought, a feeling of caution preventing him from striking Rizevim instantly.
"My life was very much dull! I was an object that could think, trapped and lonely in suffering!" he proclaimed in a form of mock sadness. My lame line was followed by a long period of self indulgence, but I could never find that spark"—Rizevim clicked his fingers to make the point—"to fill me up! Until! One day, as I lazed about in the despair I had become so used to, my servant landed on a treasure mine of information! Ophis' powers! The Sephiroth Graal! Proof of another world! And Trihexa itself! All those ingredients finally awoke something in me: ambition! Dreams! At last, I found a purpose that I dedicated myself to. It was all set up for me! But then..."
Rizevim cutting himself off suddenly made IsseI pause at the air. "And then what...?"
"And then you ruined it, idiot! Foolish faker! My perfect plan was laid to waste by your worthless interference! I offered Ophis aid to help me build up resources and armies, especially with some of the devil Houses that served Lucifer; they served as the easiest to control! And even then, you've still crippled my servants and assets! However, everything else I had planned was ruined by your foolish meddling, brat! Every time! Every single time I had something set up, you slithered in and gobbled it away from me. I found that vampire brat, and struck a deal with him. I'd help him in his research, then he'd help me resurrect the beautiful evil dragons I was planning on adding to my magnificent military. The progress was coming! He had the Holy Grail right there, one of the key components of my dream. But you ruined it! You snuck into Romania, exposed that scummy vampire, and took off with my grail, thief! It got even worse! Without the grail, even my sweet Trihexa was taken away from me! If I couldn't have Trihexa, I figured I could use the power of Ophis to help me get what I want, but you ruined that plan again! I barely was able to extract as much of the Dragon Eater's poison as possible; you're lucky I'm killing you myself, but you will still suffer! You've ruined my plans of unleashing Trihexa into the world and invading the other world to show everyone what it means to be a True Devil! Selfish, false fool!"
"What kind of retarded goal is that?" IsseI replied, a admonishing expression as he looked at the Super Devil with confusion and disappointment. "That's not even evil as much as it is you just being a giant fuckhead. To be honest, I didn't even have any idea I was doing all of this to your plans, but I'd gladly do it again because you fucking sicken me. You're just an overpowered man- child with the mentality of a Saturday morning cartoon villain or something like that. Even Team Rocket do a better job than you."
Like a psychopath reaching 100% on his meter, everything snapped around Rizevim as his hatred scribbled his face into a mess of vicious veins burning daggers into IsseI, enough to have the latter's heel stagger and be stunned by the output; truly, the power of the man-child was on display, and it was enough to make IsseI drip.
"I'll show you well, fake devil and fake dragon, the true power of the Devil's Son!" Rizevim screeched out, swiping fast enough and barely allowing IsseI to escape with his life in tow.
Set on edge, IsseI quickly retreated back as he loaded his blaster from within the wings. The spiral beam racing towards the Super Devil, the wide beam overtaking his figure from the sheer size, who only grinned darkly as the energy blast shattered as soon as it made contact with him, dispersing shards of red and green.
IsseI stared at the event in concern, his eyes widening like saucers. 'He destroyed the attack... or was it something else? Could this have something to do with why Tobio and Irina's father was so easily killed by him?!'
"My power was completely nullified!" Ddraig told his host, the cogs clicking in.
Their moment of realization was overshadowed by Rizevim hunched back, fingers curtaining a side of his face, and the jerking of his body as his menacing echoes carried throughout the area. "My ultimate power is the Sacred Gear Canceller. My power as Lucifer's son allows me to reject the power of all of the God of the Bible's System's creations, so no matter how strong your Sacred Gear is, as long as it is a Sacred Gear, whether they be legendary dragons of gods, all of it is useless against me. Let me show you!"
Instinctively, IsseI moved back and put his guard up at seeing Rizevim disappear. The next moment had the devil-dragon screaming in pain as the feeling of Rizevim's fist grazing his armour was enough to shatter the arm part like it was sandpaper, an outpour and outcry of his ichor drenching the ground.
"A single hit means defeat. Without my powers aiding you, your level is only that of a stronger-than-average devil, while the spawn of Lucifer is a Super Devil in every sense: strength, raw power, and malice."
Battle hardened and adrenaline pumped, IsseI could view Rizevim's movements with more clarity. Using quick thinking, he stopped his demise with the usage of his demonic blades, holding his lifeline just that big longer as IsseI gritted his teeth against the naturally overwhelming strength of Rizevim.
"Tch!" Rizevim formed a blade of demonic power and pushed back against IsseI, lacking any signs of struggle or fatigue. "Looks like those swords apparently weren't originally part of your Sacred Gear, so lucky you that I can't cancel them! Let's see how long until you crack!"
Breaking into the ground, IsseI roared as he mustered his willpower against the demonic degenerate. 'He's insane!' IsseI thought. 'And really fucking strong! I'm going to have to try and distract him, or just hope that I don't get caught in an attack again!'
Rizevim laughed at seeing IsseI aim his leg to attack but his brow creased at seeing the attack break through the ground, stumbling Rizevim, and giving IsseI enough time to use his speed and make some distance. Giving that the Sacred Gear Canceller didn't work in the way of, say, an EMP wave, it still presented IsseI the ability to use his Sacred Gear
The demonic blade fluttered away from Rizevim, but with the magical motes around his palm, a large beam, far dwarfing the size of his Crimson Blaster, and forcing IsseI to race away from it. 'It's too fast! It'll catch up soon!'
IsseI summoned shards of ice that Rizevim quickly blocked with simple magic circle. "Is that the best you can do?!" he mocked, watching his beam casually run along the ground and .
A small red line seeped on his cheek, and a crimson blur jumping back from it. "It isn't, but you can keep thinking like that," IsseI remarked, holding Ascalon and slowly inching back as he anxiously awaited the next attack.
IsseI watched as Rizevim took the air, trying to calculate what tactic he'd pull next, only to nervously look at the revenge death ball of demonic power that Rizevim had charged up and threw; the force of wind on it alone creating loud noises that spanned the surrounding.
"Gotta go fast!"
Following his words, IsseI rapidly made for safety as the inflated demonic sphere was hot on his heels. Flying upwards, a small smile came on his face, but soon morphed into concern as it followed through with him.
"Run, run, run! Run for your life, little faker!" Rizevim chanted, controlling the sphere and watching IsseI's blur around for any reprieve from the potent planet-shaped attack that continued gunning for his head.
'I could maybe use the Crimson Blaster to deal some damage or penetrate through the attack, but would it be worth it in the long run? He'll take no damage thanks to that broken ability of his! I may have mastered all the Illegal Move Triania techniques, but I'm concerned I'll end up draining away my energy long before I could make an impact. It doesn't help that the prick is still leagues above me in strength.'
Seeing the one to break all his plans fly around, Rizevim did enjoy the show, like a child would enjoy his favourite one. But his patience wore out soon, and Rizevim planned to get him good right away.
Relinquishing control over his attack, Rizevim immediately vanished from sight. While the chased took a dive, and looked back in surprise to see the attack didn't follow him. "Wait, if the attack didn't follow him?!"
Piecing the situation together, IsseI twirled in the air and struck with Ascalon. Just as he suspected, Rizevim was there, but the Super Devil was too fast for him and reached out to rip his throat out.
AIIP managed to nick Rizevim but it was too late as the moment his fingers touched the upgraded Scale Mail, IsseI's normal body was exposed, making his eyes flash urgently at the lack of protection.
"Chant and die, bitch!" Rizevim shouted, quickly loading a football-sized ball of demonic power and rapidly transmutating it into a fuck-everything-that-it-targets blast that enveloped the Red Dragon Emperor.
Smirking at the explosion, surprise caught the devil when he felt another graze on his cheek; specifically, the already punctured line of Ascalon's first attack had grown since the last time IsseI had gotten a chance to attack. Having come in contact
As for IsseI himself, steam fell off him and his face was red. The cracked armour slowly reforming as Ascalon retracted itself long before the armour fully repaired. "Fuck, you are a strong piece of shit. All of that for a drop of blood... not worth it."
Dozens of magical circles began to flood the reticent Rizevim, enough to make IsseI instantly prepare the boosters on his armour in case he had to run for his life. He had a bad feeling he was going to need it.
"DAMN YOU!" Rizevim cried out.
At his cue, a cataclysmic storm took place. Elementals of all type flooding the area, and brimming with demonic doses of power. Water shooting at speeds fast enough to slice the ground, digging right down to the earth and the water having a mind of its own to propel rocks up in the air; one of them smacking IsseI into the air.
"I need to escape—!"
IsseI's declaration was met with the air currents giving him the middle finger as he struggled to pilot and use his wings as a heavy vortex kept him hostage and left him vulnerable to be smited by large bolts of lightning.
Despite successfully hitting his target, Rizevim's rampage continued on as he persistently flexed a tempest of elements that threatened everyone close; large swathes of flames that would be enough to keep a Satan-class devil at bay.
Having enough of being assaulted by the unnecessary baggage of boulders, IsseI resorted to the AIIP in his tail to deal with the random chunks being imported to his direction. While that was out of his hands, he focused on the next problem for him to solve.
Just before he could get on track, he groaned as hot geysers of boiling water assaulted him. Even with his Crimson Queen, it was treated like paper, and they soon began squirting around in complex directions, forcing the cornered warrior to ditch attack and continue to focus on defence.
'How long can I keep doing this?! Will he stop?! Should I stop?! I won't know for sure if he's going to stop, and I don't think I can hope for him to run out anytime soon. What do I do?! I can only repair the armour so long before I run out of energy.'
Crackling from above, cruel cremating catapults rained down incessantly. Preparing for trouble was always the task at end, but then it doubled, further forcing IsseI into a disadvantage as he swam in the cooking sweat the heat of boiling water and flaming stars created from the mad man.
IsseI reared his head back, took a heavy inhale, and abruptly exhaled a dense blast of cold air. Steam formed as IsseI released the blast while checking his directions and stopping surprise attacks from behind. Despite his efforts, the simple ice breath wasn't enough to stop the onslaught.
'If Rizevim is still focused on just destroying everything, then I can take this opportunity to boost myself. It's unlikely he can channel the Sacred Gear Canceller's power into his attacks; he'd have done that a long time ago. And if he does attack me when he sees my using Boost, then there's a good chance that this area of effect attack will stop.'
"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!! BOOST!"
"Stop that noise!" Rizevim shouted out, discharging large blazes of flames and followed by the storming thunder trailing slowly to catch him off guard.
Transferring his power to his breath, IsseI released a howling glacier from his mouth. The result was enough to overpower the fireballs but it resulted in a wave of steam that blocked the path.
Crackling caught IsseI's attention as he backed up and sighed in small relief at seeing the snail-paced lightning racing to get towards him.
Holes appeared in the smoke as IsseI was on alert and switched to using his demonic blades to parry the attacks, though each of them carried enough weight for him to be pushed back by it. The rate they fired at was not an impossible task, and with the additional support of AIIP, he soon deflected the majority of them.
"He's still firing, but they aren't proper. I think I'm safe for this one. Just need to keep doing the work and—"
Pain pulsated as a single finger flick from the suddenly arrived Rizevim broke IsseI, and sent him flying into the ground. A crimson carcass of his Scale Mail crashing along with him as Rizevim laughed at his adversary's status.
"Face down with another devil beating you. Is it Wednesday already?!" Rizevim cackled out, charging up another attack.
'W-what the fuck is he talking about?' IsseI thought, immediately spilling blood all over his battered body. 'Shit! Just that one attack, and he's made a mess of me! A fucking finger flick, too!'
His attention was brought to more pressing matter as a demonic meteor came in packs and hunted after him. "Oh, shit, motherfucker!" IsseI blurted out, blood trailing his lips. "Sorry, Ddraig. I'm going to need you to kick in hard for this."
"That's my duty!"
Quickly suiting up for an unpleasant day out in the field, IsseI utilized the his strongest ranged attack and sent it towards the demise. Against the magic bombs, IsseI struggled as the blast was being prolonged. "Ddraig... you know what to do."
Rizevim's features scrunched at hearing the popular word ringing over and over again, making him charge through his own attack to deal with the boy; his aura protecting him. He stopped at seeing that IsseI was using the force of the Crimson Blaster to rush himself away, all the while giving the middle finger to Rizevim.
However, the pure-blooded devil only smiled as he appeared right in front of IsseI, who had just finished defeating the demonic attack sent his wave. Explosions flashed, along with IsseI's own life, as Rizevim's fist inched closer to IsseI.
A stroke of quick thinking turned into a miracle as the demonic blade's tip collided with Rizevim's fist, a discord of demonic power and sending the devil sprawling back in confusion, as he cuddled his own fist.
"W-what was that?" IsseI muttered.
"That's what I would like to know. To think someone like you would be gifted such mana sensitive weapons. They've just spared your ungrateful life, but I'll make sure that doesn't happen again!"
Further fighting was paused as the world caved in from Crom Cruach's roar, the area visibly twitching. Rizevim smirked at his bodyguard's fearsome power while IsseI shook at the threat displayed.
"Crom Cruach will soon kill all your friends. Abandoning them to their deaths was such a foolish mistake for you to make, so you can try and finish this quickly, but you won't be able to beat me with my cute little Sacred Gear Canceller."
A bolt of blood left IsseI's lips as he gave a hollow, pitying stare to Rizevim. "You're wrong about that, Rizevim... They don't need me, because they are plenty strong on their own, all of them are going all out against you and this stupid dream you think you can accomplish."
Somewhere deep in the Underworld, and tending to the wounded, Venelana looked up for a moment and clenched her fists. 'Please come back safely, Rias... IsseI... All of you can do it.'
Misla held her head in pain as she tried her best to whisper a prayer of all things, everything for the son she cared and cherished.
"Stop, Misla. You don't have to go that far. Have faith in them, and they will provide it!" Layla spoke, making the Bael reluctantly nod.
Venelana smiled. "Alright, let's get back to healing. We can smile after everything is over.
"As long as there is someone out there doing their best for everyone, they will answer in kind and provide the solutions to those wishes."
Thought the quote was far from the battlefield, it resonated in the hearts of many. Sairaorg high in the air, with his wings burning with the Touki of his ultimate armour. Everyone else looked to be looking worse wear and Crom Cruach still held himself strong, though he was bleeding and cracks among his charcoal body.
Deep crimson layers were splattered among the majority of them as everyone was running and going red at the heat of the moment, panting the only way to respire properly, and bodies slowly being blacked by the numbness that came with it; a silent grasp.
Rias blanched at seeing more fissures appear in her armour. "The gift is already disappearing. It's only natural..." she muttered.
The Bael heir roared to the heavens and came down like a meteor of death, with Crom Cruach's boisterous laughing spurring him forward to meet the Regulus user in a final clash to determine everything.
"This will be the very last strike! Do well to give everything, Sairaorg Bael!" Crom Cruach ordered, a behemoth blast driving upwards like a railgun and far surpassing the size of a building.
Vali's vocal chords were more prominent than the pain busting through his body as he overrode his Divine Dividing to their utmost limits, ignoring the shedding of his Scale Mail and pouring his demonic heritage into his soul, giving more than he was capable of and rapidly draining him of his demonic energy reserves.
Despite the massive dip in power, thanks to Vali's vigorous efforts, the building-sized blast still engulfed Sairaorg and began biting into the armour, Regulus' cries mixing with his own banged up bellowing; his eyes slowly fluttering against the storm.
The image of his mother brightening up his mind was enough to make his eyes claw out and his screaming to mimic that of the King of the Jungle.
"GIVE EVERYTHING TO SAIRAORG AT ONCE!" Rias shouted.
On that cue, the cacophony of "TRANSFER!" broke out throughout the air, their bodies dropping and collapsing among the cracked red ruins, and a jade empire of Boosts—accumulated through all the gruelling battling—surrounded Sairaorg as his aura began inflating to an absurd degree that soon dwarfed Crom Cruach's own attack.
Too weak to say anything else, they all mentally praised Sairaorg to continue, and Crom Cruach's eyes widened at seeing the massive red and golden lion tearing through his weakened breath.
Genshirou, Gasper and Sae gave a synchronized scream as they all pooled their efforts in fully holding Crom Cruach down as much as possible. The tendrils of Vritra thickening and absorbing more power to empower the very tendrils holding Crom Cruach back. Crom Cruach was too focused on his current breath attack to stop the depleting of his energy and the darkness powers of Balor and the constant slashing chipped at him just that bit more.
The prolonged power was sustained for a short time, with their Balance Breakers shattering at the strain provided. Even with the unfortunate circumstance, the powers persisted with all the energy they could go on with only embers of power. Crom Cruach weaving against the mausoleum of darkness.
His freedom was short lasting as all the dragons swarm in, eager to take a bite. His howling pierced their ears but they didn't let the sonic-boom based (accidental) attack stop them from holding Crom Cruach as much as possible.
"THIS WON'T BE ENOUGH!" Crom Cruach shouted, expending his aura as a vicious repellant that packed enough force to send his own kind flocking back, and the others, who were drained and fatigued, were picked up by the hurricane and tossed away.
Crom Cruach's focus was too late for him to do anything as Sairaorg clashed with his head and gave a roar of "NEMEAN LION KING FIST!" and it left the whole world tripping on itself as the thunderous force, aking to a comet crashing from the heavens, struck the aura of the evil dragon and shattered it; everything had opened up to be taken.
Defeat dawning on the strongest evil dragon only made his face go crescent. "It truly was the best fight of my life..."
Right as the final moments were said, the curtain came on Crom Cruach's life, and Sairaorg's fist tore through the skull in a shore of gore that reduced Crom Cruach's head to a glorified meat paste, and then epically exploding with a seismic shake.
Everyone weakly and slowly threw themselves to the sight, nervously waiting for the smoke to clear and reveal the truth. A puddle of blood was where Sairaorg's butt naked body was as he raised the ruptured and ruined right fist in the air; Regulus laying by his side and unconscious. "V-victory... The rest is up... to... IsseI..."
His head dropping down, everyone looked at each other with weak smiles as they vanquished the strongest foe.
Rias tried moving towards IsseI's direction but dropped down. Akeno picked her up. "Rias... we all need to rest. I get it's important to help him, but you need to remember that we are all too tired to even reach his location."
The King weakly nodded. "G-got it."
Xenovia carried the tired Asia on her back. "Get as much rest as possible, Asia. This will all be over by the time everything ends."
Koneko and Kuroka both fell flat against the floor as they both looked to each other and held their hands, a small smile on their face. "I think I've had enough."
"Same, nya."
Lucoa's attire was ripped in several places as Tohru, Ilulu and Kanna all slumped by her side. All of them back in human form but looking the best out of the others.
"Even as a goddess dragon, that one took a toll. I've never been more glad that our dragon scales provides us with resistance."
"I'm going to need a new maid outfit," Tohru muttered, while Kanna and Ilulu had each other's back and quietly recovered.
Vali looked down at the drained Rossweisse. "You weren't half bad. I've got you on my fighters' list once this is all over. If my rival can't do it, then I'll do it," Vali said, only to drop suddenly and start snoring.
'He's tenacious,' Albion thought with a small chuckle. 'Now how are you and your partner doing, Ddraig?'
Freezing at the sight, Rizevim's brain spun around as he looked at Crom Cruach's corpse, jaw smacking back and forth. "T-that's ridiculous! That's impossible! It's unfeasible! How could a bunch of weaklings defeated Crom Cruach, especially that useless grandson!" Rizevim snarled.
In anger, Rizevim used his rapid pace to knee IsseI back, breaking his armour, and unleashing a powerful blast of demonic energy, with IsseI's revived armour breaking up. Slightly less peeved, Rizevim's entire body respired as he had to think about what to do now.
However, a blur of blades clobbered him in the face, making him drop back and bleed. Rizevim bore his teeth at IsseI.
"It's that horrible attitude of yours! Thinking you're superior to everyone, and dismissing anyone you deem inferior. It's why all your plans have failed!" IsseI shouted out to him, raising his aura to a new standard that made Rizevim look in surprise.
Visages of the beings at the top materialized like spectres, a sight IsseI grasped with his peripheral vision. "It's ready!" IsseI declared.
"Ready?! What the fuck is ready?! I haven't even gotten to kill you get! Damn... Why? Why can you still get up!? Why are you able to resist me!?"
IsseI's grin sent shivers down Rizevim's spine, his confidence beyond insane. "Just barely, who knows? But it should be enough to turn this battle! It's about damn time, so remember this. Now it's MY turn, Rizevim Livan Lucifer!
Far out, beyond the scope anyone could have seen, the Infinity Dragon stopped, causing confusion among those by her. A small smirk hit her face. "My mate is finally using my gift..."
"The Crimson Red Dragon dwelling within me, awaken from your dominance."
"The Crimson Heavenly Dragon I possess within me, rise up to become a King and roar."
"The jet-black God of Infinity."
"The glorious God of Dreams."
"Watch over the [true] forbidden existence we shall become that transcends the boundaries."
"Thou shall dance within our [perfected] radiant inferno!"
Both IsseI and Ophis chanting was the magical act for the cheating amount of power being put on display, a beacon of red, black and emerald spiralling out for everyone to watch; enough to even shake Rizevim like he had seen a ghost. The Scale Mail metamorphizing into something futuristic with the garish appearance; four wings now present.
"Dragon infinity Full-Drive!" Ddraig announced.
Rizevim almost tripped on his own backpedalling as his body quaked with each passing moment of seeing the new form. "What kind of a joke is this, this kind of thing? You've already reached this stage, yet you were still able to evolve! This is absurd! There's no way a fake like you should have been able to use Ophis' power! Of all the things!"
IsseI ignored the rambling devil as he moved his body and marvelled at the new form, a beaming grin sharp enough to separate his face.
"I can feel it!" Ddraig screamed in joy in IsseI's head. "My power! All of it! It's back again and without limits! The raw energy of Ophis coursing through us has made it even stronger than ever!"
'Then let's try this out!'
Darting forward at insane speeds, Rizevim's whole body twisted concavely as IsseI rammed his fist into the villain's stomach. "PENETRATE!"
It took a moment for the actual pain to settle in, and when it did, Rizevim shot up from the crater he was dumped in and looked in shock, blood on his face. "H-how?! HOW CAN THIS BE?! My Sacred Gear Canceller should have made your power moot!"
"Then you've had the misfortune of making me and my partner your enemy. My Penetrate ability, which the God of the Bible sealed when making me into a Sacred Gear, is the ultimate anti-defence power. No matter what shields you bring, they'll fall down against my might!"
IsseI walked up to Rizevim, power increasing with each step. "Now how do you like an even fight, Rizevim?!" IsseI asked with a crazed twist on his face, pulling out his AIIP, Ascalon, and one half of his demonic blade.
Rizevim quickly flew back and proceeded to launch a volley of demonic blasts, thick enough and shaped like discs. "Die! Die! Die!"
IsseI simply brandished his aura and moved through the attacks, appearing in front of Rizevim, and squashing his nose with a hammer of a blow, a resounding clap of air as Rizevim screamed through the air.
His flying was interrupted as a kick to his stomach sent him super sonic racing all the way to hell, but IsseI was kind enough to save him from falling, and as the claws of the Diabolos Dragon dug into Rizevim's skin, the primal power of the dragon was known to the puny devil as IsseI repeatedly slammed Rizevim back and forth against the floor, widening the cracks and slowly digging deeper into the Underworld.
Amidst all the pain Rizevim was feeling, his anger kept on rising, especially with IsseI's psychotic laugh as he continued to lay Rizevim to waste, almost literally, and it kept on going till the point Rizevim was sure it was the next day.
Next up on the list, IsseI utilized the devil like he was a hoe, ripping through the ground as he smashed his face into the rubble and roared maniacally at delivering justice to Rizevim. Gripping his windpipe, IsseI looked at Rizevim, who managed to throw a hit but his fingers were crushed as the power of Penetrate covered IsseI. "That's a lot of damage," he said, his helmet briefly coming off to stare into Rizevim's hazel orbs, "HOW ABOUT A LITTLE MORE?!"
Glowing red, a vicious beam broke out and struck Rizevim far and wide away. The force of it strong enough to pressure Rizevim, who frantically tried pushing it back with his power as much as possible. "D-dammit all! What nonsense is this?!"
"It's the real deal!" IsseI said, using his Penetrate to knock it in hard against Rizevim's back, audible snapping of cartilage as IsseI finished off the attack with a widening blast of dragon and demonic power that sandwiched Rizevim in between it; who, miraculously, was still surviving and expanding his aura as much as possible.
Rizevim screamed curses of all kind as he continued to raise his power and show that he really was a Super Devil, something not to be trifled with. "I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU, BASTARD!"
"Yeah, yeah, keep talking. Ddraig!"
"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"
"No..."
"YES!" IsseI shouted, a magical circle appearing in front of him, and IsseI exhaled into it. An island of fire, lightning and wind denotating Rizevim and his hellish howling was muted by the scorching of the area.
Thanks to the intense attack, a large amount of smoke was built up in the area, leaving a moment of rest for Rizevim.
However, it was all ended short, as he put his guard to stop IsseI's attack but the force behind it was enough to break it and send him spiralling out of control. Righting himself, he was immediately met with a sledgehammer attack. Despite the pain rumbling in him, Rizevim managed to control his momentum, and he flicked his fingers, causing a pillar of frost to shoot towards IsseI.
"Useless!" IsseI muttered, seeing the ice attack, and surfing right behind Rizevim and bitch slapping him into his own ice attack, breaking it. "Let me warm you up!" he shouted, Boosting himself up, and unleashing a literal river of flames that forced Rizevim to create a bubble with his demonic power, saving his hide.
Rizevim grunted as he was kicked in the face by IsseI. Scrambling to his feet, and almost tripping right away, Rizevim charged and threw rapid punches. Each blow deflected, and the resulting ones decreased in form, with IsseI taking advantage as he parried Rizevim's demonic energy blade and twisted his arm, which he then used to drag him down and say hello with his knee, and then IsseI showed some acrobatic skill by fully stretching his leg and dislocating Rizevim's jaw. What proceeded was a one leg show beatdown as IsseI moved from each section of Rizevim's body and began to fracture every possible bone like a stack of bricks at a dojo; head, cheek, neck, clavicle, serratus anterior, hip bone, gluetus medius, tensor fasciae latae, rectus femoris, vastus lateralus, tibalis enterior, exterior digitorum longus. The cherry on top was the kick to the sternum, which turned Rizevim into a human washing machine with the posture that he was speeding back at.
Hands out and Boosting, a large lance of lightning pierced Rizevim's stomach (he was too distracted to put up his aura) and detonated with a frantic flashbang, leaving him coughing up blood and grasping his stomach; the wound already sealed, and leaving a lightning-shaped mark.
IsseI pursued the target once again but stopped at seeing Rizevim double. The confusion increased with each second having Rizevim multiply like bacteria, the lookalikes being perfect in wavelength aura as soon IsseI was surrounded by a theatre of Rizevims', unable to discern which was the real deal.
To make matters harder, the whole lot of them began spamming different elemental attacks all at once. Icebergs infused with the shocking effect of lightning, dark golems of earth, and flames maturing into infernos with the power of the wind.
'All of these magical circles make it impossible for me to tell if it's just Rizevim spreading his demonic power or if these are all clones! I guess I have one way to solve this,' IsseI thought, smashing the ground and causing the debris to explode up and shake Rizevim's whole centre of focus.
Rizevim nervously awaited the silence as the difference in power forced him not to act recklessly, although he couldn't stop thinking about smashing IsseI's face in and parading his dead body around. "Where did he go—?!"
The green glow was the calm before the storm as Ascalon's Boosted blade extended out and a great whirlwind was unleashed, shooting stars of heat expelled, as all the illusions of Rizevim were ended and a caterwaul went off.
IsseI looked at Rizevim's gashing wound as he limped, his arm hanging by a pink thread, and bloody profusely escaping the husk of a body. 'Worked like a charm, just like that time in Romania. Huh, it's when I found out about this bastard, too.'
A small vial had its contents emptied as Rizevim soon recovered with zero injuries on him. "Good as new. How do you like me now?!" Rizevim shouted, chucking the Phoenix Tears bottle away.
"Dead," IsseI commented, appearing in front of him but ducking early and assuming a scorpion position as a Boosted AIIP cut right into the skin of his hand and followed rapidly underneath and scored right into his leg.
Rizevim's cry of pain was stopped as IsseI punched through the ice shield he displayed and dug his fist right into his stomach and knocked him back, which was soon followed by a barrage of combination of arm and leg punches; vital areas attacked, everything infused with the power of Penetrate, and a final violent voltage attack.
Water and ice shards fell of Rizevim's skin as he wiped the blood off his face. 'He made a skin of ice to negate the damage. It's strong, too.'
"How the hell did you bypass my Mirror Mountain technique?!" Rizevim shouted.
'Or maybe not.' IsseI sighed at Rizevim. "And you really think I'm going to answer such an obvious question? You should be more concerned with the lightning that's about to strike you."
Rizevim looked up to the sky, and was instantly met with the force of a compressor smacking his jaw into infancy, which made the Lucifer devil cry out in anguish and hold the jaw. IsseI cut at Rizevim, lightning imbued on his blade, and making Rizevim bit his tongue in anger and annoyance at the pain seeping at this body.
A strong kick made IsseI's body shift back, but it was soon wrapped in the thralls of his Scale Mail tail and AIIP was there to cut into his leg. It began spinning into the flesh, making a doughnut shape and beginning to spread.
Furious, Rizevim forced IsseI to stagger by unleashing a point-blank blast of demonic wind and ice that freed Rizevim from the torment. He covered his leg in layers of ice to help numb the flared wound.
"That does it!"
Rizevim began to roar out to the high heavens and hell as his power began to bottle up and alter his surroundings. His eyes burning bronze, hands splayed out, and great flashes of light. Dark matter began to swirl around the already titanic spheres that formed from his attack. "LET'S SEE HOW YOU DEAL WITH THIS ONE, FAKER!" he shrilled out, imbuing his soul-destroying Lucifer power into his natural demonic power.
Seeing his opponent take their time in charging their power, IsseI decided to do the same thing. 'He won't risk firing it so early, so I've got plenty of time to follow suit. DDRAIG!'
"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"
Four wings... Four cannons. The signature power of the Red Dragon Emperor turned the charging outlets into a frantic loop of frenzy as the power soon splashed out in a red and black wave that not even IsseI could handle without shaking and breaking back from the pure power delivered.
"INFINITY BLASTER!" Ddraig called out.
Clashing against each other, building-sized sparks rocketed in salvo waves as the two of them continued to push their attacks against the other, the mountain of power illustrated as clear as day for kilometers.
Of course only one winner came out, and it was IsseI, as Rizevim's screams and his body was snuffed out by the attack engulfing him all in one. The aftermath strong enough to blow IsseI back against the train trails he had made from firing off the very attack responsible.
As the attack slowly died down, IsseI's shoulders slowly skipped as he soaked in the might of his attack; the battlefield warped against its draconic power. "It's very exhausting, though. Ddraig, how much do I have left in the gas?"
"Not much. With the amount of power that the attack just consumed, and with your current state, we can't maintain Ophis' power for much longer after that."
Burned and barging, Rizevim emerged with a scream as he slammed a demonic blade into IsseI's chest, making him stagger; the Son of Lucifer burned up. "I'm not dying, because you'll be a corpse before the same happens to me!" Rizevim hissed out.
Annoyed at the persistence and that Rizevim could still go on while taking the Infinity Blaster, a faint feeling of unfairness brought about IsseI's rage as he firmly caged Rizevim's trachea mercilessly and smashed his face against Rizevim over and over and over and over again.
Bottled up lines sprawled across Rizevim's arms as he gripped IsseI and flung him back, adding a kick to send IsseI with a broken guard, but the latter recovered quickly and clashed with his fists, pounds of air exploding between the two of them.
"Don't run! Don't fucking run, bastard!" IsseI shouted, performing multiple overhead kicks in rapid succession, each burying the ground, and Rizevim quick to uplift pillars of mud to ease every lung which got faster and reached further.
After enough lunges, the mud pillars couldn't support Rizevim and he was forced to put his own body on the line as he put both hands up to stop his head being cracked open like a coconut crab, the force traversing all over his body and sending the ground to the core of the earth, with Rizevim using the sudden cracking from below as a chance to escape out.
IsseI quickly followed after but a rain of fire and ice made him prop Ascalon and cut away, only to be met with Rizevim punching him, parrying his kick, sweeping his legs, and attacking but recieving a kick in compensation back from IsseI.
'He's still as strong as ever, and Ophis' power is limited. Doesn't help he had a spare Phoenix Tears on him. It might be a tense one but I think I can win this battle of attrition,' IsseI thought, looking at Rizevim's shaking knee.
In a crescent style fashion, Rizevim's knee rose up before whipping with the speed of invisibility, and created a powerful gust that, surprisingly, blew IsseI off his guard, and allowed Rizevim to get the upper hand in combat as his first punch quickly turned into holding IsseI's face and presenting it to the ground.
His kick was caught by IsseI's hand, and threw him out wide like a tennis ball. Having recovered, IsseI rushed forward with his fist and Rizevim blocked it, only to feel the pain of the holy sword cutting across his face, which he promptly solved by forcing IsseI's hands up. "Your swords can't bent, can they?!"
Rizevim's mockery and ignorance was rewarded with AIIP ripping at his side. Were it not for Rizevim's capabilities and battle heightened senses, he wouldn't have quickly maneuvered out the blade's way and survived bifrucation. It still left a bright gash against his skin; most of his clothes singed by this point, and only his posh dark upper body shirt and slacks were still remaining in decent condition.
"You're really an idiot, aren't you?" IsseI told Rizevim, the latter's mouth ready to get annoyed, but being silenced by a bitch slap to the face that sent him flying back.
Boosting his speed, IsseI appeared in front of Rizevim, who attacked, but IsseI was already behind him and kicked him in the back, continuing his attack into a rising knee and choking Rizevim before kneeing his back repeatedly. Flipping him around like a fool, he covered his fist in lightning and Penetrate and delivered a right harsh welt that cracked several teeth of Rizevim's and broke his jaw, fixed it back, and then broke it again.
Having taken enough pain from IsseI, Rizevim's senses didn't dull one bit and he instead released a unique brand of lightning that managed to capture IsseI in a state of paralysis that made him let go of Rizevim, the both of them soon falling into the ground, though IsseI's was much more dignified.
"W-what was that?! Felt like some sort of dragon slaying magic," IsseI muttered.
"That's exactly it. I'm unsure how he was able to do such a thing, but it makes sense for Rizevim to possess such an esoteric ability."
Rizevim giggled as he climbed from the grave of gravel. "Do you like it? One of the perks of having an alliance with the cool chaotic evil gods is the epic abilities that come with it. Thanks to my deal with Angra Mainyu, I was able to obtain such an ability. In exchange, I could help him get his creation, Aži Dahāka, back to him."
"And you really think that's going to happen?" IsseI responded. "Having that dragon slayer magic doesn't guarantee you anything, now that I know you have it. Even if you sneakily try to use it, I've got Ddraig to support me."
Rizevim spat. "Ah, shut up before I kill you. I won't even need to fulfil such a bargain in the first place, because I'm sure that fake Lucifer, fake Beelzebub, and those other boring leaders will take care of things. It's a shame, it'd be cool to see all that destruction! China going off into destruction! It'll be just like that Mao man! He'd be much better as a devil, especially compared to all you fakers."
"For how much you've beaten, you still talk a lot of bullshit."
"Listen up, boy. Devils are beings that have to be evil, wicked, brutal, bad, scum, wrong, brute, and vicious. Copying what's done by a hero? Hero? That is something that a "justice" would do. You know, beings like humans and angels? And what are we? You do know we are "evil" and "bad" existences? Then isn't it obvious what we have to do?"
IsseI shook his head. "No wonder you are this pathetic," IsseI replied, Rizevim's claws digging into his palms' epidermis. "If your focusing your life on such an outdated view, then I can't even think of you as anything less than pathetic."
"Then what do you do?!" Rizevim shouted.
"I do what I want..." IsseI stopped as he felt like he'd be crossing a barrier. 'Shit, do I really say this?! I'm not sure if I'm even going to recover.'
"HA! You really don't have anything to say?! I know mine was better!"
IsseI blasted Rizevim with lightning but he dodged it. "Shut up, you and your fucking annoying voice! What are you?! Fine, you want me to tell you! I'll tell you! I DO WHAT I WANT BECAUSE I WANT TO... NOTHING ELSE!" IsseI shouted, his teeth grinding against each other.
Rizevim blinked at the random outburst. "Then you're doing it all wrong. Unless you really want to be a devil, then you need to stop doing such heroic nonsense! Get a bit of hedonism down you! I could teach you!"
"Like I'm supposed to trust the person who wants me dead for ruining his plans. Besides, I'm really resentful against you now for what you've done, so this little playing around is over soon!"
They both charged, fists locking against each other. Exhaustion clearly kicking in as neither one showed to be more overpowering. The deadlock was cracked as Rizevim kneed IsseI's jaw, his smile was short and sweet, slowly turning sour as the force of IsseI's chin alone started pressing down on him. "W-what?! N-no! Stop it!"
"You've got it!" IsseI responded, a sudden pour of power induced in his body as Rizevim's knuckles clicked in a sadistic symphony conducted by IsseI as he kneed Rizevim and then did a backflip kick. Just before Rizevim got out of his range, IsseI infused Penetrate into all blades and delivered a triade of cuts on Rizevim.
Charging right after, IsseI's head slipped from Rizevim's kick, but he found himself ensared in a cage of lightning. The voltage infected the two of them but the effects of the dragon slaying magic held IsseI back.
"For good measure!" Rizevim froze the arms and legs as he begain to wail on IsseI with the anger of a mother, just whacking in an endless loop. Flames, bolts of lightning, heavily focused water blasts, sharp gusts of winds; all of it dragon slayer related.
His combo was broken as Ascalon spoiled his abdominal muscles. Pain coming in, followed by more as IsseI kicked him with enough force to dispel his dragon slaying lightning cage, and then followed by IsseI cupping his hands and sending Rizevim crashing into the floor. "Okay, time for some revenge!"
Two dragon magic circles appeared from above, and dragon-shaped fire rained down with serpentine gales that combined together to create the flaming dragons from hell to rain down on Rizevim.
Shortly after, Rizevim emerged out of the hell hole with cracks of ice coming off his body. "Faker!" he shouted, swinging his fist, but IsseI grabbing the fist, punching the arm and kicking him down into the ground again.
"You sure are persistent," IsseI spat out, receiving a punch in a face, but dishing out two chest punches, hitting Rizevim's ribs until they snapped with over ten kicks, and dodging a straight kick from Rizevim, only to be met with a rim blade of ice skates.
Rizevim's laughter was paid back in full as AIIP cut into his legs and the real Ascalon broke into his calvicle, making him hurry back as he released a powerful area of effect blast of wind that threw IsseI back.
IsseI got his breath back as Rizevim cried over his condition. "Partner..." Ddraig muttered to him.
"W-what is it, Ddraig? Am I running out of time now? That won't be good."
"My true name is Y Ddraig Goch," he admitted, making IsseI pause at the sudden revelation that he was giving him; it felt like something akin to a break up.
For an added amount of surprise, Rizevim was still kicking as he unleashed a scissor kick that IsseI blocked, only to have Rizevim twist and hit him, making him stumble, but eagerly return the favour with rapid kicks slowly building up his body, so when Rizevim brought his guard up against the inevitable high kick, pain gripped his knee, where IsseI had transported his kick to, followed by a final palm forward and lightning ripping into Rizevim.
"What's with the suddenness of this, Ddraig?"
"You'll need to know it if you want to use my strongest power. The very one that defined me as the Red Dragon Emperor!"
Feeling the flood of power and information injected into his veins, IsseI's face brandished a devilish smirk as he reared his head back, throwing it out, and his mouth ready to eject the calamitous crimson attack that built up. "BLAZING INFERNO OF SCORCHING FLAMES!" Ddraig announced.
The bloody stream of crimson flames set the world ablaze as the vicious veritable flood of fire consumed the environment and Rizevim. Even the hellish imagery of hell couldn't match the charcoaled country as Rizevim begged for mercy with the flames eating away at his body, never stopping.
IsseI moved back from the blinding brightness. "It's over," he muttered, watching the scorched sight.
A faint glow of extensive demonic power flashed against the radiant release of flames. "WHY WON'T THE FLAMES GO OUT?!" Rizevim cried out, a first scream to show genuine fear for the first time.
"They're Ddraig's true power, the ultimate flames that can incinerate anything until nothing remains. Once they are on, they are never going out... gods... buddhas... everything will be burnt down to the very soul and not even atoms will remain; I can see why the God of the Bible sealed such a dangerous thing."
"I-I-I CAN'T OVERCOME THIS! WHY?!"
"Son of Lucifer. You think you are a worthy enemy to be able to survive my flames? Even the God of the Bible feared the very embodiment of power - DRAGONS! If you were my rival, Albion, you would have been able to save yourself from this fate."
Darkness began to overcome Rizevim, clothes already atomized, and a bald scalp. Despite this, a weak demented grim fell on his flaming face. "I see... so I just have to become something above even the Heavenly Dragons to live!"
A chilling aura came from Rizevim as he summoned a magic circle, revealing a humanoid construct of a mess, the pure destructive aura allowing it to chill inside the flames as if it was a sauna.
"What the hell is that?! I need to kill it!" IsseI stated, but stopped. 'Wait, I don't think I'm immune to Ddraig's flames! I guess I'll have to go distance and Boost up if I even want to have a chance to destroy that monstrosity!'
However, as he prepared his attack, Rizevim reached out and began to absorb the transmuted thing into his body. Sounds of skin slapping and snapping back into pain as the flaring of his energy began to become an all-consuming darkness, slowly shedding the flames and their principles to nothing. Each passing moment that the flames died down from their glory into embers, his body bulged, broke and twisted into something, his blackened flesh engorging in a sadistic seldom manner that made IsseI's body shift back, his focus snapping and dispering his power; a very shitty situation.
The lone hazel orb of Rizevim honed on his nemesis with instability. "I... I was planning on using this vessel for Ophis' power once it was stolen with the help of Samael, but because THAT failed, I had to improvise! My powers weren't enough to break the thousand fucking seals the God of the Bible placed on the Beast of the Apocalypse, but I did manage to break enough to extract some of it's power; my trump card to kill Sirzechs and the other leaders, but YOU'VE ruined everything again." A hoarse roar left his throat. "But no matter. It's perfectly fitting too, because what fate is better for the Son of Lucifer than to become a monster that brings out the Apocalypse itself!"
With a final dying howl, his body bursted from the inside, as the shedding of skin revealed the new form of Rizevim, multiple tail-looking appendages sprouting from around the serratus muscles and backs, which turned out to be arms; dark veins like those of a plant running around them and prevalent in stature, as thick as arms themselves. His form was hunched and hairy like that of a primate; his teeth overflowed to the point they collided and trapped itself, some even tickling the sharp spike of a chin. His chunky legs ended with goat hooves with feathers decorating the location where greaves would be situated, and flaming wheels decorated the soles of his feet. The standard location for his arms metamorphized to undergo the same look as a primate, with elongated nails and draconic scales. The two new pairs of arms were bigger than his whole body and cracked in a manner like charcoal; as a matter of fact, they were only in the shape of arms but more of a hideous chimera abomination than anything else. A pair of heavy wings with black points marked the flying apparatus. At the centre of his face, the piggy-like protrusion of a stout drooped down enough to touch the peak of his mouth. Satanic scars ran all over his face as vacant punctures in his head similar to that of a conch shell was soon filled in by the swirling bones that pointed downwards, like a goat's head appendages; the top horns were onyx and burgundy, featuring small horns coming out of it and almost shaped out into the form of a halo. The bulging neck hosted seven mini heads which were topped with coronets. The silver mane of Rizevim was dyed with trails of darkness and his thick thighs trembled with the weight of his own, with his green and red eyes taking a slit hazel mark.
The air burned amidst the red smoke protruding off Rizevim's Pseudo-Trihexa form, his very existence spelling an unstoppable doom. Dark drooling seared the floor below as the Apocalyptic abomination sauntered.
IsseI coated himself in his own aura to prevent himself from being thrown into the wind. "Okay, what in the hellish fuck is going on?!"
"He's lost his mind. He was willing to burn his own body and soul to become an avatar of Trihexa. With the amount of power he has gained from fusing some of Trihexa's power against his own Lucifer heritage, Rizevim's power could easily make a whole country crumble!" a baffled Ddraig warned.
Snarling like a mindless monster, which wasn't too far off, he gazed at IsseI as an orb with a ration of 8:2 began to form; particles rushing into it but never increasing the size. Just barely, and only just, did IsseI manage to doge the attack as it instantly crushed anything around it and detonated it, the shockwaves hitting his back, making the Red Dragon Emperor turn in horror at seeing the nuclear bomb go off.
"Well... shit fucking shit..."
Nerves on the line, IsseI dodged Rizevim's punch, an air pocket explosion tunnelling into the earth and shaking the area itself. Now it was two layers of shit fucking shit for IsseI as the new form of Rizevim madly rushed to charge at him.
"PENETRATE!"
IsseI's fist nudged Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's cheek, which was enough to make IsseI quickly fall back into place. 'Good news: his Sacred Gear Canceller hasn't evolved to a point that it negates my Penetrate. The bad news: this prick is infinitely more powerful than before and is actually really fucking pissed!'
Raising Ascalon at an angle, IsseI bolted ahead and tried shredding Rizevim's form with a storm of strikes, though the piercing power of Ascalon proved to be ineffective against the obsidian streams of thickness that bulged out of Rizevim-666.
Roaring, and giving IsseI enough time to focus on his enemy's move, Demi-Trihexa Rizevim moved his hands at an erratic level, missing plenty of opportunities to go for IsseI and breaking the surface with each stretch of him.
'Is this a ploy, or has the power overwhelmed his ability to think?' IsseI thought, backflipping and nicking at Demi-Trihexa Rizevim; once again, the effect very minimal, if effective at all.
A lost chapter of words spilled out of Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's mouth, almost making IsseI pause to try and decipher the message laid out, but he instead flung himself back and avoid the four arms trying to turn him into meat paste.
Making some distance between his enemy, and looking through the silver maze, IsseI noticed a creepy-crawly countenance from Demi-Trihexa Rizevim. 'Now I'm wondering if he's in control or not. He's certainly got the ingenuity of that bastard, but I can't help but feel like power of that level has probably long corrupted him. Doesn't help he's an old man with the mentality of a kid with an eighth grade syndrome.'
The thread of tension was ever so close to ripping as IsseI began to overthink what Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's next move might be. Each nerve flickering light lightning and his handling of Ascalon was rougher because of it.
Suddenly, Demi-Trihexa Rizevim made a lunge for it, his butterfly-pack arms grinding the ground into dust with his berserker charger. Concern met IsseI as he tried to think of the first course of action to go for.
With his mind met up, IsseI slid to the side and hacked at the side, quickly moving back and surviving the thralls of the two left sided arms. Seeing him safe, IsseI continued to move in all sorts of locations around Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's, but always making sure to safely back up and not get greedy with his hits; slow and steady.
'Ddraig! Get on it!'
"RIGHT!"
Locked in combat, the two ideologies clashed in the form of the Son of Lucifer and Avatar for Trihexa versus the Delinquent Dragon. Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's attacks were fast but predictable, allowing for IsseI to capitalize on the mistake and pressure Demi-Trihexa Rizevim as much as he could, seceretly hoping that this wouldn't turn into a disaster.
However, just because things go well at one point, it's not a guarantee that the road ahead will function the same. Anomalies do exist, problems will occur, and it came in the form of IsseI barely missing a ride to get sent flying into orbit and the afterlife.
'He's adapting!' IsseI thought, jumping back and awaiting for Ddraig to continue going on.
The four arms' fingers took the shape of a mouth, which soon moulded into several dragon-headed fireballs that began firing off. Quickly taking flight, surprise and urgency hit IsseI as he dodged the upwards volley of discharge, only to find it falling downward onto him. Not wanting to take the chance to see how powerful they are, IsseI darted off and checked how close they were to hitting them.
'I can out speed them, but I won't be getting anywhere. Plus, I need to make sure the dickhead doesn't end up doing something in the meantime to screw me over.'
Just as he mentioned that, a glacier galaxy slammed onto IsseI and trapped him onto the floor. Adding insult to the injury, the flaming missiles bombarded him as they helped prevent any dodgy movements to escape the prison. For the final sault in the wound came the laughter of Demi-Trihexa Rizevim as he began to scale the iceberg. Howling, the same 8:2 ratio energy attack took place.
'Ddraig! I need you to transfer it now! I don't want us to die!'
"TRANSFER!"
Holding some hope it would work, IsseI roared as he pushed himself against the galactic glacier and finally moved his trademark weapon. Ascalon's blade burned with the power of a majestic emerald as a shamrock skyscraper slice razed the iceberg on top of him and finished everything with the cringing cry of Demi-Trihexa Rizevim.
Shoving the last icicle off of him, IsseI smiled at seeing his cut having left a nasty enough gash that it was a miracle that Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's body hadn't fallen off like a slice of bread. Only the top arm of his butterfly pack of arms was left, with his unnormal-normal left hand also surviving the attack.
"Better not waste any time!" IsseI spoke, grabbing a large leftover icicle to continue his assault.
He was, however, not in time as Demi-Trihexa Rizevim lent him a hand and chucked his own severed arm into him. The propulsion breaking the lifted up icicle and smacking IsseI with enough force to completely break any hope of him correcting himself. Even if he did, the assault didn't stop there because as soon as IsseI crashed into a rock formation, IsseI struggled out of the hole made and looked to see the charging form of Demi-Trihexa Rizevim coming right at him with his own fist.
'OH SHIT MOTHERFUCKER!'
To add to the situation, IsseI was also assaulted by a large sun-screen of heat that blasted him as Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's fist smacked him away and watched as IsseI was caught up in the infernally-charged ignition of the attack.
Not having enough destruction in his diet of disaster, Demi-Trihexa Rizevim began to unleash widespread destruction as the air turned dark and the madness continued to burn the ground into the bowels of the Underworld.
With the power of Trihexa having it's moment, the small psyche of Rizevim himself remembered the humiliation and the suffering he had been giving, as his whole form was because his plans had been grabbed by filthy claws and crumbled up. His whole life's purpose crumpled into a messy moment of rampage.
This led to Demi-Trihexa Rizevim galloping forward to the location he had blasted with his fire breath. Due to the uncut edges, thanks to his destructive powers tilting the terrain, Demi-Trihexa Rizevim had to hop around the area as he scoured where the bastard (in his own mind) was by investigating the shards of ice and where his own body parts were.
Patience was zero with Demi-Trihexa Rizevim as he lost control and violently rampaged around and threw his weight on anything, hoping to get a lucky break. If he could talk, he'd probably ramble on about how fate was unfair to him and monologue the universe's collaborative effort to shine misfortune on him.
Cutting in, IsseI freed himself from hiding in one of Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's severed arms and spread his blade against the wound. Demi-Trihexa Rizevim tried to crush him early but Ascalon pinned the arm there. Sealing him for the moment, IsseI utilized the twin demonic blades and unleashed a furious flurry falchion combo, and to prevent himself from being blown to smithereens, IsseI dug AIIP into the ground and moved back, which he also used to fling himself and press down against the eyes and drag his blades down.
Shortly after, IsseI retreated and grabbed Ascalon. He traced back slowly but kept his guard in check as IsseI proceeded to respire in short bursts, not wanting to be caught lacking when Demi-Trihexa Rizevim made his next move.
His surprise was caught as Demi-Trihexa Rizevim was twitching, but not in the aggressive way, almost like something was occurring. Unsure of whether it was beneficial or a middle finger to him, IsseI made sure to continue trailing back and watching out for any surprise attacks that might occur; his eye moving towards the severed arms, in case they magically turned into rocket launchers and charged at him.
Instead, IsseI had his jaw open at seeing blood paint the floor and Demi-Trihexa Rizevim panting with more urgency as him as his body was repaired back to normal. "What... the... fuck... ?!" IsseI muttered, eyes trembling at seeing all his efforts flushed down the drain. "Ddraig... on a scale of 1 to 10, how fucked am I?"
"666," Ddraig dryly responded.
Demi-Trihexa Rizevim was the first to move, reeling his fists back, and launching all six appendages forward, with IsseI being caught up in the rumble exchange but his armour allowing him to bypass any substantial damage and for him to hack at the arm with no progress visible.
The boosters on IsseI began to light up along with the jade lights from the Boosting as IsseI spun around Demi-Trihexa Rizevim, in an attempt to try and confuse the beast. Impatiently, Demi-Trihexa Rizevim unleashed all his arms and IsseI rose above the challenge. However, he wasn't out of it, as the two regular irregular arms reached out and IsseI pushed back against it with a Boosted Ascalon shedding some of the skin.
Everything wasn't done yet as the butterfly arms reached out and IsseI utilized his tail blade to try and stop it, but the sound of metal snapping filled him with dread, and made IsseI quickly blast himself back. Once landed, he turned to see that AIIP was broken. "Fucking shit! At least it didn't happen to Ascalon, but that's still a really annoying issue!"
"Get out of there! There's no way you can beat that monster alone and the amount of Boosting you have done is taking a toll on you."
"You have about a minute or two left before the armour reverts!" Belzard warned him.
"IsseI! You'll die in an instant against that thing without Ophis' power."
IsseI clicked his teeth. "I can't do that! By the time anyone arrives to help me against this thing, it could have destroyed all of Japan. Hell, I could be first depending on how things go! I'm not sure how much of Rizevim is in there, but he could still target me!"
Demi-Trihexa Rizevim roared as a volley of flaming beams sprawled around the place and IsseI was running for his life against the thing. 'Even a fraction of his power is absurd! No wonder the real deal is on the same level as Ophis and Great Red!'
Ducking under an attack, and barely blocking the other one without dying right away, an idea popped up into IsseI's mind. "If Ophis' power is running out, why don't we use Great Red's power instead?!"
"It won't work. Your body has barely gotten used to temporarily using Ophis' power. If you try and go this far, not even the grail fragment will keep you together. You'll die instantly before you have the chance."
Frustrated but still thinking, IsseI continued to retreat back to avoid being squashed to death by Demi-Trihexa Rizevim. "Any ideas, IsseI?! Come on! Think, think! Should I use another Infinity Blaster and hope for the best?!" IsseI spoke to himself, nervousness almost making him buckle as he side stepped Demi-Trihexa Rizevim and hacked at him, finishing with a knee, and immediately setting off to distance himself.
"Will that even work?" Elsha asked him.
IsseI shot out shields of ice to mitigate any damage that was coming from the downpour of fire and sulphur, bolts of lightning mixed in just to make things harder. "Maybe if I Boost it, but I'd definitely Reset afterwards. Even dodging is getting tiring!"
"Is there truly no way for you to access Great Red's power, IsseI?! I cannot help you in the ways I wish I could but your death is the one thing we must avoid. You bring hope to the future and the name of the Red Dragon Emperor."
Elsha was biting her nails as she continued to watch IsseI survive the elemental storm. "I can't think of anything, and asking IsseI to hold on doesn't sound like it'll work forever."
"Unless there was a way to channel Great Red's power without using his own body then it could be used. I would posit we could do it, but I don't think it'd work with us. It'd require someone you are compatible with; a source that is intrinsically connected to you and your power!"
IsseI froze as a lone option flooded in among the other possible candidates. His hope pushed up and it allowed him to comfortably dodge Demi-Trihexa Rizevim, the possibility of winning allowing him to push himself beyond what he might have been capable of.
'There's only person I can think of. If I have to give an appropriate name, they really have been my most loyal helper. It's a final gamble, so I might as well do this!'
Demi-Trihexa Rizevim roared as IsseI zoom kicked his two normal arms, and made him stumble, allowing for IsseI to slip in behind and stab the twin demonic blades into his hooves, the weaker flesh unable to stop it from perforating. While IsseI slipped underneath Demi-Trihexa Rizevim, he used his tail to pluck the blades out and deliver cross slashes at the back.
In an attempt to stop him from doing more damage, Demi-Trihexa Rizevim used his additional arms to try and crack IsseI, but IsseI predicted this move and slipped right down between Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's legs, and made him clap his own back in. The force against the newly regenerated body halted it enough for IsseI to smack Ascalon against the weaker hooves and rise up whilst dealing damage all the same, topping it with a Boosted Penetrate punch that sent Demi-Trihexa Rizevim back, but for final insurance, IsseI grabbed him by his goat legs and begun to swing him around before chucking him back.
Soon after, IsseI dropped in exhaustion but he raised his one hand up. "ILULU!"
Back at the other battlefield where Crom Cruach's corpse still towered over the lot of them, they had gotten some time to recover from the fight, more or less all of them recovering the ability to stand up.
Most of the dragons took sight of the sight with mixed levels of trepidation. Vali's face was focused on the ominous powers ahead while he helped the barely conscious Sairaorg and Regulus up. "Tch, what is going on there?! The powers here are probably stronger than even Crom Cruach's."
"He'll be fine," Sairaorg muttered, relying on Vali to keep him straight.
"White Dragon Emperor. Put my Master on top of me to rest. I'll be just fine; my recovery abilities are ahead of Lord Sairaorg's, especially since he's never had to exert himself this much."
Vali just dropped him without putting any form of argument but continued to look ahead at the island of flames and ash. 'What is that bastard even doing to get such strength?! He better die!'
"Sona! Sona!" Rias called out but recieved no answer, making the crimson princess sigh as she wiped the blood and sweat. "I can't contact, Sona. Is it because of the vast power there?"
Rias almost dropped right away but Akeno was there to support her. "Easy there, Rias. I'm just as concerned as you but calm down. You're supposed to be the King of the Gremory Peerage."
Akeno's words made Rias light up as she smiled. "Thanks, Akeno."
Ilulu helped Kanna stand up but froze during her support as her eyes widened, making Kanna look at her. "Ilulu?"
"Master is calling me," she whispered, walking forward and catching everyone's attention. "I'm going to help!" Ilulu declared, her visage vanishing into the beacon of light for a Familiar summon.
"Ilulu, stop!" Tohru shouted, clutching her her arm.
The Gremory Peerage did a collective grasp of their fists over their chests as they looked into the distance, prayers of hope to both Ilulu and IsseI, while the rest looked over at the fight they could not interfere in.
A bulb of brightness sparkled with opaqueness before breaking into the fabric of reality. Ilulu immediately took to IsseI's side, her body sweating up and down as her pink orbs shook and glistened at seeing the new armour her Master was clad in.
Right after that small happy moment, Ilulu felt her instincts turn dark and her eyes looked to the monster of menacing macabre. Her body twitching and her movement backwards as the roaring monster that was Demi-Trihexa Rizevim had its' eyes set on the targets.
Her Master's soothing hand landed on her head, making her look up to him with the same awe when they first met, but a sense of loyalty instead of lust. "Ilulu... do you trust me?"
Ilulu's face softened at the question, it was something she didn't think that needed to be explained. Yet the question hit the core of her being. "With my life, Master!" Ilulu replied with that toothy grin which was the first of many smiles she gave IsseI.
Seeing the reassuring look that his Familiar gave, IsseI smiled under his armour as he turned to stare death to the bastard using Trihexa's power, another sphere charging up and Ilulu tensing at the sight of it.
"We're taking him down now!" IsseI shotued as his armour began to glow up. "DO IT!" he ordered Ddraig.
"I hope you know what you are doing, IsseI," Ddraig muttered as he followed through with the request.
Flashing for the grand finale, a massive wave of power began to break out into the whole world from IsseI's armour. "APOCALYPSE ANSWERARMS!"
Calling a power of the Dream stirred the fabrics of reality. The abyss of every colour had the Apocalypse Dragon turning around it but only for him to stop.
The Glorious Red God of Dreams's face spread open to point upwards as he turned to the side of the colourful kaleidoscope world, spreading the sharp pillars that lined up the inside of his titanic mouth.
After that, the Dragon of Dreams continued on about his carefee life as a biker gang delinquent. "I do what I want because I want to... nothing else~!"
Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's attack shot forward, the seeking purpose to end it all shining through this attack - bigger than all the one's he had released. Everything came to an end as it crashed against a domain expansion of energy that acted as a barrier and stopped the attack, making Demi-Trihexa Rizevim roar out at being denied.
To make matters worse for the mindless devil beast, his personal ball of death was reflected back against him and exploded on him; truly, his already injured body couldn't tank the attack, and howled at the damage taken.
Shaking his head, Demi-Trihexa Rizevim used his bestial eyes to look at what turn of events made his victory suddenly fade from fiction. The bleak, dry multicoloured eyes widened at seeing what had emerged.
Though Demi-Trihexa Rizevim wasn't aware, IsseI could tell that the current manifestation of Ilulu's true dragon form was easily double, perhaps even more than that, the size when she first displayed it. The difference was the plated ropes of crimson glowing armour, making her look like a robot from the future. An additional pair of futruistic dragon-esque wings appeared around the extended length of Ilulu's current form, with the usual dark horns having a golden tint to it and lined up with jade jewels. On her head, IsseI was standing, the wings of his very own armour seemingly fused with Ilulu's horns to create a psuedo throne-command console hybrid.
Ilulu roared out, her voice echoing and the matching the level of Ddraig's announcements within IsseI's mind. "I feel stronger than ever before, Master! Like I could take on the whole world!" Ilulu declared in a tone of confidence rather than arrogance.
"This power won't even last for even half a minute, so you need to end this NOW!" Ddraig warned, knowing that this was the last chance to deal out some real damage and win this battle. Everything was coming down to a moment of a minute.
Demi-Trihexa Rizevim roared incoherently as he swamped through the the hazardous ruins and charged against the barrier, all arms wildly whacking at the impervious construct in order to reach his target. Desperate and irrational, it was all that Demi-Trihexa Rizevim could do, the once upturned maw dropping at a possible defeat.
"ANSWER!" Ilulu said, hearing IsseI's screams of rage and frustration that had been constantly building up over every moment of the battle, even before IsseI fought against Rizevim and his new form.
Two Apocalpyse Ascalons' arrived in response and massacred Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's extra arms like he was a measly chimera experiment, blood booming out of the empty stumps, and making the monster rave around in agony.
Despite it, the regenerative power of Demi-Trihexa Rizevim suddenly bolstered and his arms came back and was ready to fight back, the charcoal contraptions burning with the might of magma.
Ilulu growled with some blood in her murder stream as she pushed back against the monster arms with Apocalypse Ascalon hammering the other Apocalypse Ascalon and overpowering the four arms attempt to stop her, a river of blood as the almighty aura blades split the sandpaper arms.
"We have to end it all in one swing attack! GIVE IT YOUR ALL, ILULU!" IsseI shouted.
Illu didn't need to be told anymore. "YES, MY MASTER! I'll show this freak the true power of our Master-Familiar bond!" Ilulu bellowed for heaven and hell to hear as the grand gates of her mouth opened and another cannon emerged from it, reminiscent of IsseI's Longinus Smasher technique. The entire blaster glowed while the destructive cannons of the wings were as radiant as the Sun. Throughout the entire attack, the powers of the Dream and the Infinity continued to gather up.

The power of Destruction versus the powers of Infinity and the Dream.
Crashing against the other as concepts, the two combatants gave everything to the cause of their attacks, cosmic clashes of Biblicial end times as the flood of power dwarfed any disaster that could plague the supernatural world. Demi-Trihexa Rizevim's Dominus Orbis Interitus against the Revelation All-Range Blaster.
Even the attacks meeting each other to decide the conviction of the other was a sign akin to the end of everything as the unimaginable power pushed everything—even the ruling forces of gravity and physics concepts—out of its path and raced towards raining on top of everything. Any sounds were consumed by the revelational attacks hitting againt each other.
The winner was decided the moment the two attacks met. The beast was trampled over by the overarching principles of the endless ambition of the Dream and Infinity, annihilating the demonic avatar of destruction and sending it a nice farewell with faraway fireworks that coiled around the whole Earth for everyone; ordinary people of Japan looking up in awe at the perfect phenomena on display, stripping the night sky and replacing it with the radiance of the day. Heaven fell in shock at the staggering surprise of the beam giving it a heads up and ascending into the atmosphere, fading away and cutting out like it was never there; a Dream only brought about by a chance of Infinity.
Oxygen was snuffed out by the blackened earth that IsseI and Ilulu were left on, mountains and valleys of smokes reaching out in tower formations that touched the ceiling of the earth. Faintly did IsseI and Ilulu's wheeze against the haphzardous surroundings.
"When did we become Dragon Ball characters?" IsseI muttered as he took in the split sky, some smoke still preseent. "L... Let's hope that did it..."
Ddraig's booming laughter almost broke the other two's eardrums, which were already bruised from the quaking of the two omnipotent attacks clashing earlier. "There's no trace of Rizevim or of Trihexa's power left! That attack disintergrated him beyond the point of absolute annihilation! YOU'VE WON!"
His muscles creased as they formed a victory look on IsseI's face, ease settling in. "FULL RESET!" With the magical words and the battle over, his armour and Ilulu's transformed apperance shattered into nothingness as they both fell to the ground seemingly unconscious.
Closest to the sight, and several minutes after everything had been settled, Rias and the rest were half-running and half-jumping to the area. "How long will it take for backup to come pick IsseI and Ilulu up?" Akeno asked.
"I'm mobilizing everyone as fast as I can but that impossible wave of power released in that area is making it hard, especially because of all the damage control we've had to deploy all over the country to make sure that the giant beam that most definitely crossed over the heavens was, in fact, a beam of death and to blame it on a natural disaster."
"Have you tried contacting IsseI?" Rossweisse asked.
"I've already tried that," Seekvaira said to Rossweisse, making the others heart sink. "Every attempt I make has ended up in failure."
"Something's coming!" Vali shouted, making everyone stop and get a front row view as the entierety of every single sand dune existing rained down on them and with enough wind to make Fujin jealous.
Luckily they had recovered enough demonic magic to stop the sand storm from brushing them aside, especially as Xenovia utilized the ability of the Ruler from Excalibur and Vali's large reserves allowed him to use Divide here and there.
Landing at the crash site, everyone almost fell down in relief at seeing IsseI and Ilulu having gone through a universal marathon but still holding strong and smiling with the latter barely gripping at IsseI to stay standing.
Ilulu gave a floppy peace sign. "We killed the fucker..."
IsseI sighed as he turned to Vali first. "Sorry about stealing your kill, Vali."
Vali snorted. "I won't mind it this time," he mumbled.
The emotionally charged King of the Gremory Peerage cried, leading the charge as they rushed to the two of them as fast as their bodies could carry them, a whole marching army ringing in IsseI and Ilulu's ears.
Residues of world-breaking energy traced the sunset sight of China and some of its fallen mountains. Sirzechs exhaled as he cancelled his true form.
The deep breath of Beelzebub made him turn. "It seems we've won. Not just here, but we've gotten confirmation that IsseI has defeated Rizevim."
Sirzechs smiled as he looked at the ruins in the battle and Tartarus' corpse lying behind him. The Greek Primordial God of the Abyss having scored some damage on Sirzechs; his armoured pauldrons shattered and his upper body attire in tattered rags as blood dried up against him.
Ajuka allowed his stoic face to crack a positive look as he turned to the other leaders. Odin was geared up in his divine Norse armour, no damage taken and Gungnir still in pristine condition. Yasaka's attire was cut up, showing her bean boob bag, and her hair ornaments were shattered, letting her hair flow but she paid it no mind.
'That Red Dragon Emperor sure is a lucky one,' Odin thought with a chuckle, looking at Yasaka, who turned back.
"Is something the matter, Lord Odin?" Yasaka questioned.
Odin laughed. "Hardly. I only think about the time of the youth," he muttered.
"Being old sure isn't as fun as being young," Azazel chimed in, flexing his arm and smirking. His battle wounds ended with his upper body attire turning into a spagetti-thin toga and most of his lower body ragged and ripped, only reaching a bit over the thighs.
Michael chuckled. "You may have a point, but it's nice that we can help offer your strength so that the youth does not have to become adults so soon," Michael said. "Isn't that right, sister Gabriel?"
Gabriel smiled as her body glowed, removing her scantily-clad black and gold armour. "Yes, brother Michael. To know that we've helped move this world by doing our bit is enough to make my heart move. It's a shame I wasn't there to witness my beloved help stop Rizevim, but he's done enough as it is. I'll allow him to recover before I visit him."
'Looks like Serafall won't have to worry about Gabriel hounding him before her," Sirzechs, Ajuka, Azazel and Odin thought.
Ajuka took a seat on the zenith of a mountain. In the distance he was facing, IsseI was being moved on a stretcher, unconscious but with a smile, and his hands still holding Ilulu, who was also being carried away with him.
"In a way, it's all thanks to this world's very own Delinquent Dragon..." Ajuka mumbled.
