Chapter 11- Happy Valentine's Day
Clay stepped up and took Ally into his arms and kissed her cheeks. "Happy New Year Angel" he nuzzled her neck, pressing her into him.
Mia smiled, "Happy New Year Clay" she said nodding to Stella.
"Happy New Year to you too Mia" Stella added.
Mia nodded as Clay pulled her into a hug. "Happy New Year Mia. Thank you for bringing my Angel into my life and supporting me throughout this year" he whispered against her ear.
She put on a fake smile and wiped her tears as she pulled away. "You're welcome. I am glad we got to spend New Years together" she replied.
Mia couldn't believe it, but it was already time for Ally's first Valentine's Day.
They were going to have a Valentine's party at the hospital for the staff, and Mia was planning on having one for her friends and family.
She was sitting in the doctor's lounge, going over some charting when Connor walked in and joined her.
"Hey, how was your MVA this morning?" he asked, taking a seat across from her.
Mia put down her laptop and sighed, "it went fine. I just did an exploratory lap and admitted him overnight for observation. It was just sad though because he was only 17 and he was scared out of his mind" she informed him.
He nodded in understanding, taking a sip of his coffee. "I get that. You going home after your shift or picking up Ally?" he replied.
She shook her head, "no, Ally is with Clay tonight. I have a hot date with my bathtub and some General Hospital" she teased.
Connor laughed, "I wouldn't want to mess up your date or anything, but I have a better idea" he stated.
Mia leant back in her chair, sipping her iced tea, "I am listening" she replied.
"What do you say about a Valentine's Ball with the rich and famous?" he asked.
She looked at him curious, "what are you talking about?" she was interested, but she wanted the details and Connor looked desperate.
"So, my grandmother is hosting a charity ball on Valentine's Day for the Cardiology department at the hospital for people to get heart surgery if they need it and can't afford it" he explained.
"That sounds really nice. Are you asking me to be your date Dr. Rhodes?" she teased.
"Mia, I will owe you big time if you go with me" he begged.
She laughed, "I will definitely go with you for dinner or a drink and then we can come back to my side of the tracks for a little low key Valentine's party" she replied.
He sagged in relief, "Thank God! Now I can get my grandmother off my back" he stated.
She laughed, "we are definitely going to have to go shopping because I can guarantee you that I have nothing that fancy to wear" she informed him.
"I'll call my sister and she'll set us up" he had an answer for everything.
Mia nodded and put it in her phone calendar, adding to her busy schedule.
That night, Mia went home, stripped off her clothes and got into a nice warm bath with a glass of wine.
It was her night to decompress.
She put her phone on the shower table and put on Fifty Shades Darker.
Mia just wanted a night of relaxation. She knew that Clay had everything under control with Ally, so she wasn't worried.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
At the end of the day, Clay went to the on base daycare and picked up Ally.
She was spending the night at his house so Mia could have the night off. Besides, he wanted to spend as much time with his little girl as possible before he deployed.
"Daddy" she squealed when she saw him through the window.
"Hi Sara, how's she doing? How was her day?" Clay asked Sara as he picked up his daughter into his arms.
Sara smiled, "she did great today. We colored and made some arts and crafts" the daycare attendant explained.
"Good, I am glad that she had fun. Thanks for watching her today" he replied before grabbing her bag and making their way home.
Once Clay made sure she was buckled in her seat in the back, Clay got in and drove off, towards his house.
"Hey Angel, what do you think about stopping at the grocery store first and daddy will get stuff to make mac and cheese" he suggested.
Ally smiled and nodded, "k daddy" she replied.
It was a sight to be seen, big bad Bravo Six carrying his little Angel in one arm and a basket in the other.
They made their way to the produce department so Clay could get some fruit and vegetables for dinner and a snack.
Then they moved onto the pasta aisle. Clay just picked up the first box of spiral noodles he could find, grabbed some cheese and made his way to the cashier.
"Hi there" the cashier greeted them.
Clay just nodded at her. He put Ally down, her arms going around his leg, using it to stabilize herself as Clay put the groceries on the belt and grabbed his wallet.
"Your daughter is very cute" she mentioned looking down at the little girl, who was hiding behind her dad's leg.
Clay smiled and nodded at her, "thank you" he pressed her closer to him.
Once they paid for their food, Clay grabbed the bag of groceries and picked up his daughter in the other hand.
When they got to the apartment, he sat her down in her playroom while he started getting dinner ready.
He was in the middle of boiling the pasta when there was a knock on the door.
The person just let themselves in, "Clay, hi honey" Stella called out as he walked in.
Clay peaked over from the kitchen. "Hey Stella, what are you doing here?" he asked.
She gave him a pointed look, "I just wanted to have dinner and spend time with you" she replied.
He nodded and turned towards the playroom. "I have Ally with me tonight" he explained.
She put her purse on the couch and made herself comfortable. "That's okay honey, I just want to spend time with you" she stated.
Clay nodded and went back to the kitchen to finish their dinner. Stella made herself comfortable on the couch going over some of her students' papers.
"So, why do you have Ally tonight? Is Mia working?" she asked discreetly trying to get more information.
He nodded, "yeah she was, but she needed a day off, so I picked Ally up from daycare for a sleepover" he informed her.
Stella stayed quiet and just took everything in.
She didn't want to rock the boat, since they were just beginning to mend their relationship.
"That was nice of you babe" she kept it vague.
"She's my daughter, there is nothing nice about it" he replied.
Before Stella could say anything else, there was a knock on the door.
Stella answered so Clay could finish cooking, "Hi Derek" she greeted from the doorway.
"Hey, is Clay around?" he asked.
She nodded and moved to let him in. "Come on in" she gave him some room.
"I just need to talk to Clay" Derek wasn't budging.
He didn't really want to deal with Stella.
"Clay, Derek is here, and he needs to talk to you" she called out from the living room.
Clay came around the corner, drying his hands on a towel, surprised to see Derek and Otis in his living room.
"Hey, what's going on?" he asked.
"Mia said you had Ally with you. I just wanted to see if she wanted to come and walk Otis with me. We are going to the park" Derek suggested.
Clay nodded with a scoffed laugh, "yeah, she would love that. Let me go get her" he went to get Ally from the playroom.
"Hey Angel, Uncle Derek wants to take you to the park with Otis" he informed her.
Clay grabbed her coat and bag and walked her out to Derek.
"Hey Princess, you ready to go play with me and Otis?" he asked, taking her from Clay.
"Tis" she squealed itching to get down to play with Otis.
Derek laughed as he took the bag from Clay and grabbed Ally's jacket.
"We'll be back in a couple hours" he said before taking his leave.
The apartment complex wasn't far from the park. Derek just carried Ally the whole way.
It was really cute how attentive the guys were over the little princess.
When they got to the park, Derek put Ally down with Otis. She had no problem trying to waddle after him and play.
Derek was glad she was having a good time. He didn't want to be around Stella any more than Mia, so he knew she would appreciate him taking Ally out for a little bit.
Clay had dinner ready when they got back to the apartment. Derek walked in and deposited Ally on the floor with Otis, while Clay dished out the pasta.
"You want to stay for dinner?" Clay asked Derek.
The Alpha Team member shook his head, "no, thank you. Nikki has dinner for me in the oven" he replied.
Before leaving, he leant over and kissed Ally's head, "bye munchkin" he said, whistling for Otis.
"Bye Tis" Ally waved from her spot on the floor.
Clay picked her up and put her in her highchair with her Cinderella dishware.
Mia got out of the tub, put on some sweats and let her hair air dry. She wasn't going anywhere and didn't have anything to do.
She made herself comfortable on the couch with some tea and picked up her phone to check on Ally.
"Hey Clay, how is my baby?" she texted.
Clay was in the middle of dinner when a notification popped up on his phone.
He picked it up to see it was a message from Mia.
Smiling and shaking his head as he read the text. He knew she was worried about Ally.
"Who's that Clay?" Stella asked.
"It's Mia, just checking on Ally" he replied opening his text thread to reply.
"Mia, Ally is fine. Derek came over and took her to the park with Otis to play for a while. She had a great time. We are having dinner; I made some mac and cheese" he informed her.
Mia smiled when she saw and read the reply.
She was grateful for Derek and glad that Ally was having a good time with her dad.
Jason told her that Derek asked if he would have Ally or not, and Jason told him that she was being picked up by Clay.
It wasn't surprising that he picked her up to play in the park.
"Good, I am glad she is having a good time. I'll see you guys tomorrow for dinner at Jason's" she replied before hanging up.
Stella was getting annoyed that Clay was texting Mia when they were supposed to be spending time together.
She didn't want to lose his attention.
"Why is she constantly texting you? Does she not trust you? You are Ally's father" she blurted everything out.
Clay froze, his forkful of pasta halfway to his mouth.
"What are you talking about? Of course we trust each other" he started, "she is just worried about Ally" he explained.
"I still think it is a little obsessive" she mumbled under her breath.
She wasn't trying to rock the boat, but she couldn't help it.
Mia rubbed her the wrong way, and she still thought she was taking advantage of Clay and using Ally as an excuse.
Clay sighed, "Stella, we have been over this" he said.
She nodded, "I know Clay. All I am saying is to just be careful. I still think she is using Ally against you" she vented.
Clay nodded, "okay, then after dinner, you can leave" he stated.
He was getting tired of going over the same thing over and over again. He didn't want to constantly defend his relationship with Mia.
They were always going to be connected because of Ally.
"I don't want to leave. We have to finalize our Valentine's Day plans" she replied.
"Then keep your opinions on Mia and me to yourself" he laid down the law.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The next morning, Mia woke up and started making food to take dinner to her brother's house.
She was in the middle of cutting some vegetables, when she grabbed her phone and called Grace on facetime.
"Hey Bitchy" Grace greeted her friend.
Mia smiled, "hey Gracie, what are you doing today? Want to come over?" she asked.
She wanted to take advantage of her day off and her day alone.
"Yeah, I'll stop by after I get off" Gracie replied, "why? What's wrong?" she could tell from her friend's voice that something was wrong.
"There is nothing wrong. Ally is with Clay, and I am trying to take advantage of my day" she informed Grace.
Gracie got it. She could tell that something was up, so she nodded, agreeing to go see her. "I get that. I'll be over soon" she replied.
Grace just had to wait for her relief physician for her to give a handoff report to before she could leave.
Mia set up two foil serving trays and started layering them with vegetables to roast.
She set those aside and went through her list of vegetables. She added different color peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, and was on the eggplant when there was knock on the door and Gracie came in.
"Hey Mims" she dropped her stuff on the couch in the living room and made herself comfortable on the island in the kitchen.
Mia smiled at her friend, "hey, how was work?" she asked.
Gracie shrugged, helping herself to some veggies. "At the beginning of the shift it was crazy, I mean what the hell? People were coming in for the stupidest things" she explained.
Mia laughed, "that is why I like working at the SEAL hospital. There is less crazy, and you know what to expect" she replied.
"Yeah, well, not all of us can be that lucky. Anyway," Grace gave her a pointed look, "what's going on?" she asked.
Mia sighed, "there is something I need to tell you" she was very vague on purpose.
Grace sat up straighter, looking at her friend concerned. "What is going on Mia?" she asked.
"You know how Connor and I were working the other day? Well, something happened on that shift" she stated.
"Mia, if you don't tell me what the hell is going on, I am going to burst" Gracie replied.
Mia chuckled, "Connor asked me to go to a Valentine's Ball for a charity event his grandmother is hosting" she informed her friend.
Grace looked at her surprised.
"Are you kidding?" she asked.
Mia just shook her head, knowing what a big deal this was to them.
"You are going to be dining and partying with the rich and famous" she squealed.
Mia laughed, "don't be ridiculous. It is a charity for the cardiology department for the hospital. Connor said they are planning on starting this foundation in Virginia and around the states" she informed her.
"Bullshit! It may be a charity event, but you are still going to be dining with the rich" Gracie defended her reaction.
"I am supposed to meet up with him this weekend to meet his sister so we can go shopping" Mia replied.
"How's Clay feel about this?" Grace always tried to bring up trouble.
Mia looked at her friend sheepishly. "He doesn't know yet" she said.
Grace laughed, "can I be there when you tell him?" she asked.
Mia slapped her friend with a towel. "Don't be a bitch Gracie" she complained.
"I am just saying, he is going to pitch a fit" Grace stated.
Mia shook her head, "he doesn't need to know. He has nothing to worry about it. He has Stella" she reasoned.
"Yeah well, we all know what that means. She isn't going to do shit for him" Grace replied.
"Grace" Mia reprimanded.
"You know I am right" she defended.
Grace helped Mia finish up the vegetable tray and moved to a broccoli salad for dinner at Jason's.
For dinner, Mia grabbed the trays and bowls, putting them in her car, she made her way to her brother's house.
Mikey met her outside in the driveway, "hey Aunt Mia, what did you bring?" he asked.
"I roasted some vegetables and made some broccoli salad" she informed him.
He nodded and reached into the trunk to grab the tray. Mia grabbed the salad bowl and followed him inside with her bag.
"Hey Mia" Jason greeted.
"Hey Jase" she gave him a hug as she put her bag on the stairs.
"Did you bring the vegetables?" he asked.
She nodded and grabbed the tray of raw vegetables for Jason to grill.
"What do you need me to do?" she replied.
"Can you start on the salads and get things ready?" he was stressed.
Mia nodded with a smile, "don't worry, I got it" she stated.
First, she started on the salads and set them up on the table in the kitchen. The dinner was going to be a buffet style dinner.
By the time she was done with the salads, Emma walked in with Cole.
"Hey Aunt Mia, what do you need me to do?" she immediately went into the kitchen.
"Why don't you start setting up the plates and silverware. I was thinking of putting them in the beginning of the table, so everything is in order" she stated.
Emma nodded, "sure, Cole, you put the extra tables and chairs outside on the patio" she instructed her boyfriend.
He saluted his girlfriend and went out to the back to grab the tables and chairs.
Mia was finishing up the cold appetizers when everyone started showing up.
Derek walked right over and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
She smiled up at him and reached up to kiss his cheek, "thank you for taking Ally to the park. Clay told me she had a blast" she informed him.
He nodded and waved her off, "I did that for me more than the Monkey" he replied, "I couldn't be around Stella anymore Mia, she is pissing me and the Teams off" he added.
Mia nodded in understanding.
She got it. Stella didn't.
It took something special to be in a relationship with a SEAL.
Stella couldn't deal with it.
"Well, thank you anyway" she replied.
He kissed her temple, "anytime" he stated, helping himself to some chips while Nikki helped her set up the chips, veggies, and peanuts.
The guys gathered with Jason around the grill with beers, chatting it up while the girls finished setting up the food.
"Clay coming?" Rob asked.
Jason nodded, "yeah, he is coming with Stella. Besides, Ally was over there overnight so he is bringing her home" he replied.
"Great, so he learned nothing from what happened last time with Stella and Mia. Apparently, nothing we said clicked" Derek vented.
The guys were pissed, and Stella wasn't making it better.
"Guys, we just have to deal with it. It is going to take something catastrophic for him to let her go and see reason" Jason said.
They all nodded in agreement. They knew what Jason was saying was true. If all the previous episodes weren't enough, then it was going to take something big for him to wake up.
Clay walked around the house to the back, Ally in his arms, "hey guys" he greeted them.
"Ncle Jay" Ally squealed, reaching for Jason.
Derek stepped up and reached for Ally. He took her into his arms and kissed her cheeks.
"Hi Monkey" he greeted her.
Mia heard the commotion and walked out to see her daughter in Derek's arms.
"Hi Princess" she walked over and took Ally out of Derek's arms.
Cuddling her daughter in her arms, she squeezed her to her chest.
"Mama" Ally wrapped her arms around Mia's neck.
Mia smiled, turning to look at Clay, "how'd she do?" she asked.
Clay nodded, "she did fine. We had fun, I got her some new water toys" he said.
"That's cool. Did you have fun with Daddy, Princess?" she asked her daughter.
Ally just cuddled into her mom's neck, resting her head on her shoulder.
"Good, I am glad she had fun. Thank you for taking her for the night. I wanted to talk to you about next week" she said.
He nodded, taking a seat next to her, "you mean for Valentine's Day?" he asked.
She nodded "yeah, I am going out on Tuesday with a friend to get a dress for a charity thing at work with Connor on Valentine's Day" she said.
Clay helped himself to a beer and nodded, "it's no problem, Mia. I can pick her up from daycare that Friday and keep her until Valentine's Day on Sunday. I will meet you at Ray's for the party" he replied.
He didn't really see it as a problem, he was spending more time with his daughter.
"Clay, we have plans for Valentines" Stella stated, moving to sit next to Clay, wrapping her arm around his.
"Well, then don't worry about it. I will just have Jase take her" she wanted to put an end to the argument before it even started.
"No, it's okay, I can take my own daughter" he reasoned.
"Clay" Stella whined.
"Don't worry Clay, I'll get her. I am not doing anything" Jason interjected.
That put an end to the conversation. Mia didn't want to argue, and the guys didn't want to deal with Stella anymore.
She isolated herself and tried to isolate Clay from everyone in his life.
The guys were tired of it.
As they ate their food and enjoyed each other's company, Stella was watching everyone with narrowed eyes.
She didn't really understand the dynamic of the TEAMS and why they were together all the time.
"So, Clay, next weekend we are going to meet my parents, have dinner and a night out" she informed him.
That was the problem, she didn't include anyone else in their conversations.
She didn't make an effort with the people in Clay's life.
He nodded, "that's fine babe" he replied.
"That's nice, are your parent's here to visit?" Nikki asked, trying to make conversation.
Stella nodded, "yes, they are coming to check on me and meet Clay for the first time. It is going to be a great weekend" she informed them all.
"Sounds nice. Are you planning on taking them downtown and showing them the beach?" Mia asked.
"Yeah, and I would appreciate it if you don't contact Clay next weekend and bother him with Ally because we are going to be busy" she said as she continued to eat.
The guys all stopped eating, looked at each other surprised, turned to watch Mia and Stella, looking between the two women.
"Are you fucking serious?" Derek snapped.
He couldn't take it anymore.
"Derek don't" Mia stated, putting her hand on his arm, stopping him from interfering.
Mia turned to Stella, "you don't have to worry about me bothering you both next weekend. In fact, you don't have to worry about me bothering Clay with Ally at all. From now on, I am going to keep Ally and he can come visit anytime he wants" she informed her.
Clay looked at Stella with narrowed eyes. He didn't even know what to say anymore.
"Stella what are you talking about? I already told you not to talk about me and Ally" he argued.
"It's okay honey, Mia gets it" she said.
"Mia, can you help me bring out the dessert?" Naimah asked, knowing that Mia needed a break.
Mia nodded, got up and handed Ally over to Jason as she followed Naimah inside.
When they got into the kitchen, she leant against the island, her head between her arms, taking a couple of deep breaths.
Naimah nodded, sighed sadly and patted Mia's back.
"Just relax" she suggested.
"I really can't do this anymore Naimah" Mia vented.
Naimah nodded in understanding, "I know, but you have a daughter with him, and you need to keep the peace until he at least comes to his senses" she stated.
Mia stood up and leant against the island, facing Naimah, crossing her arms across her chest.
"I have tried Naimah, I mean dammit, Ally is almost a year old. How much more am I going to keep my mouth shut" she vented.
"I get it Mia; trust me I do. Ray and I used to have our problems when we first got together too, but trust me, she isn't going to last long. Clay is a TEAMS guy. They are his family; you and Ally are his family. He loves that little girl with all his heart. She keeps isolating them, he isn't going to put up with it much longer" she reasoned with the younger girl.
Mia let out a deep breath, "I hope so" she said.
"Hang in there" Naimah said.
Mia tried to avoid talking to Clay and Stella for the rest of the dinner. She didn't want to deal with them or hear her mouth.
After dinner, Mia made herself busy in the kitchen cleaning up the dishes and putting the food away in containers for Jason to keep as leftovers.
"Thanks Mia, I put Ally down in Emma's room, she fell asleep" he said.
Mia nodded, "okay, I am almost done. I am just going to put these away and get the dishes washed before I leave" she replied.
Jason nodded and helped himself to a beer as he leant against the counter next to his sister.
"You doing okay?" he asked.
He knew that Mia was dealing with a lot. Clay and Stella were not making anything better for her.
Mia sighed, "Jase, aren't you tired of having this conversation. Stella having it out with me and you making sure that I am okay" she complained.
She was completely defeated; she didn't want to deal with this anymore.
He nodded in understanding, "I know Mia, but what are you going to do? You can't take Ally away from him, he's her dad" he stated.
She sighed, her hands soaked in the sink, "Jase, I don't want to take her away from her dad" she said, "but I don't want to keep dealing with that psychotic, jealous, she-demon" she added.
Jason smiled in agreement.
"Yeah, I get it" he said, "what are you going to do?" he asked.
"I am going to go through you. I am going to have Clay pick her up from either here or daycare and when he is with her, he is not going to take Ally at all" she said.
As she got done cleaning the dishes, she wiped her hands, and went to grab her bags and Ally's bags to put in the car before going to grab her daughter.
Carefully she picked up her daughter from the middle of Emma's bed, cuddling her into her arms.
She side-hugged and kissed her family goodbye.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Mia spent the next week avoiding Clay and Stella like the plague.
Tuesday, when Mia had to go with Connor after work, she told Sara in daycare that either Clay or Jason was going to pick up Ally that day.
Since the daycare was at the hospital and Mia had all the guys, as emergency contacts, it really wasn't a problem that Jason was coming to pick up Ally.
After work, Mia stopped by the daycare, and kissed her daughter's cheeks, giving her a hug.
"You be good for Uncle Jason. Mommy will see you tomorrow" she said to Ally.
"Bye Mama" Ally gave her mom a hug.
Mia got up and saw Connor waiting for her outside the daycare.
"Hey, you didn't have to come all the way over here" she said, greeting him with a hug.
Connor shook his head, "it's not a problem Mia, I enjoyed coming down to see the little doctor in training" he teased.
Mia laughed, "thanks, she's good. Jason or Clay are going to pick her up after training today" she informed him,
He nodded, "ready to go?" he asked.
She nodded, grabbed her bag and followed him out. She was nervous about this.
They were going to take Connor's car to the store, so Mia didn't have to follow him.
As they were getting closer, Mia was getting more nervous.
"Connor are you sure I am the right choice for this, I mean I come from a Navy family. Haven't been to a fancy dinner in my life" she stated.
He looked over at her with a smile, "you are the perfect person for this. You are strong, independent, confident, and a brilliant doctor. Of course, you are the right choice" he replied.
She nodded, "okay then, let's do this" she said, as Connor pulled up in front of his sister's shop.
Paulie came running out and waved at them from the doorway.
"Hey guys" she greeted them.
"Hey Paulie" Connor greeted his sister with a hug, "this is Mia" he introduced her to his sister.
Mia walked up and greeted Paulie with a hug, "it's really nice to meet you. Connor has told me so much about you" she said her hellos.
Paulie looked at her brother with a smirk, "yeah, I am sure he did" she teased, nudging her brother.
"So, come on in, I pulled out some dresses for you to try on. Since the party is going to be Valentine's theme, I pulled some red and silver pieces I think would look great on you" Paulie said.
Mia nodded as she followed her inside, stopping at the doorway when she saw the racks of dresses and the number of shoes and jewelry.
"I don't even know where to even start" she was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that Paulie had ready for them.
Paulie took charge, "Connor, you sit here," she wrapped her arm around Mia's shoulders, "you come with me" she led her to the dressing room.
Paulie put Mia in the dressing room and started handing her dresses to wear and try out.
The first dress was a beautiful strapless red ballgown with a sweetheart neckline that flared a little at the waist.
Paulie gave Mia silver heel sandals and dangled diamond earrings.
"Can you help me zip up the back?" Paulie helped her zip up the back of her dress and fluffed up her hair a little bit.
Turning her to look in the mirror, she smiled amazed.
"I am good" she was proud of herself.
"You think it looks good?" Mia asked.
Paulie nodded, leading her out of the dressing room.
"Connor, take a look" she announced to her brother.
Connor got up and turned to his sister to see Mia coming out of the dressing room, to stand in front of the mirror.
"That looks great. You look beautiful Mia" he said, getting up to walk over to stand next to her in the mirror.
"You think so?" she turned different directions to see how she looked from all angles.
He nodded, "yeah you look great" he reassured her.
"Alright, I think I will take this one if you think that it will fit the dinner" she said to both of them.
"Oh yeah, with that dress on, you will kick ass at the dinner. Grandmother will love you" Paulie stated.
Mia just laughed, "if you say so, I trust you. I am sure it is going to be a great night" she said.
Connor nodded, "great. You ready to get some drinks? I promised you dinner" he replied.
Mia smiled, "let's do it" she got off the step and made her way to the fitting room to change.
After she changed her clothes and got out of the evening gown, she hugged Paulie before following Connor out to the store.
"So, where are we going?" Mia asked.
"I thought we could go to Mickey's Pub" he suggested.
Mia nodded, "sounds good" she replied.
She had all night since Ally was with Jason.
Jason and Bravo got out of their briefing for the upcoming deployment exhausted. They were going to be gone for 3 months and it was right after the death of Charlie, Charlie Team.
"This deployment is going to suck ass" Clay said.
"We are going on a mission, and we are going to get the son of a bitch who took out Charlie and ambushed Charlie Team" Jason replied, trying to keep everyone focused.
"Got that right" Sonny added as they changed out of their fatigues and into normal clothes.
"Between us and Alpha Team, we'll fine him" Ray stated.
"Derek will never let us live it down if Alpha gets to him first" Trent added.
The guys all scoffed in agreement. "Ain't that the truth" Sonny teased.
"What are your plans after this Jase? Want to come help me set up the playset for RJ?" Ray asked.
Jason shook his head, "sorry Ray, I have a date" he said, causing all the guys to stop in their tracks.
"What?"
"What date?"
"What about Mandy?"
They all started questioning him at once.
Jason couldn't help but laugh and shake his head at their reactions.
"Okay, everyone, calm down" Ray hushed them all, turning to Jason, "Jase, who is the girl who are going out with?" he asked.
Jason grabbed his stuff, "my date is a beautiful little lady that really stole my heart" he replied, adding to the drama.
"Jase, does Mandy know about this?" Clay asked.
He nodded, "yup, she knows and totally approves. Actually, Mandy is going to come with us" he replied.
"Seriously? Are you going to tell us who you are going out with or not?" Trent asked.
Honestly, no one could believe that Jason was going on a date with someone other than Mandy.
Jase just shook his head, "you guys are ridiculously gullible. For being frogmen, I expected more of you" he teased, "I have a date with my niece" he put them out of their misery.
The guys laughed, while Clay tensed.
"You are picking up Ally from daycare?" Clay asked.
Jason nodded as he grabbed his coat and bag. "Actually, Emma is going to stop by after school and take her home" he informed him.
Clay nodded in understanding, "do you mind if I come over?" he asked.
Jason shook his head, "nah, come on over, I will stop and get some burgers to throw on the grill" he replied.
Clay nodded and grabbed his stuff for the shower. "I'll meet you there" he stated.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
At the house, Emma picked Ally up from daycare on her way to pick up Mikey from hockey practice.
Emma carried her cousin through the rink and made herself comfortable on the bleachers.
"Want to watch Mikey practice Ally Cat?" Emma asked her cousin as she repositioned her on her lap.
"Mky" Ally tried calling for her cousin.
They sat for about an hour until Mikey finished his practice. He looked up and saw Emma sitting with Ally on the bleachers waiting for him.
Smiling, he skated over to the glass and pounded on the glass.
Emma got up and walked up to the glass so Ally could bang against the glass, squealing when she saw Mikey.
"We'll wait for you by the locker room" she called to her brother.
He nodded and followed his team out to the locker room.
Emma grabbed Ally's stuff as they made their way to the locker room, leaning against the hallway.
It didn't take long for Mikey to come out with his duffle bag.
"Where's dad? I thought he was picking up Ally after their debriefing" he asked as they walked out.
Emma nodded, "yeah, he is. I picked her up from daycare, but she is staying with us tonight so Aunt Mia can get a dress for the hospital's charity function" she explained.
Mikey nodded in understanding, "cool. Do you think Uncle Clay is coming?" he asked.
Emma shrugged, "I have no idea, but I really don't want to deal with Stella again. She really pissed me off the last time she went off on Aunt Mia" she stated.
"Yeah, that really pissed me off" Mikey added.
Emma drove them home and sat with Ally on the playmat so Mikey could go shower and change.
Emma put on Frozen and played blocks with her cousin until their dad came home.
When Jason and Clay got to his house, they walked into Emma in the kitchen cooking, Ally sitting in between Mikey's legs playing with blocks as he watches a hockey game.
"Hey guys, we are home" Jason called out.
"Hey Dad, how was the briefing?" Emma asked.
Jason and Clay dropped their bags in the closet and joined the kids in the living room.
"It wasn't bad. We have a mission in mind and a couple target packages to get ready for. Deployment is in a month, so there is going to be a lot of Team briefings, so everyone knows what they are doing" Jason explained.
Mikey and Emma nodded in understanding.
They have been through this their whole lives.
"You guys are going to be okay. Your Aunt Mia is going to be here" he said.
Clay reached over and pulled Ally into his arms, cuddling his daughter.
"Besides, I am going to need you guys to help Mia take care of this little Angel" Clay added.
Mikey smirked, "don't worry Uncle Clay, we got this in the bag. We have been through this our whole lives. That is our job to be here for Ally and walk her through this" he replied.
Clay nodded with tears in his eyes, he really had a family.
"I appreciate it guys" he stated, choked up on emotion.
Mikey nodded and got up, taking Ally from Clay, "come on Ally Cat, let's go play on the swing set" he carried her outside so Emma could finish dinner.
Once the kids were out of the room, Jason patted Clay on the back.
"I told you; we are a family. I got your back; we got your back" he said.
Clay nodded, making himself comfortable on the couch as Jason got up to help Emma grill.
She had everything set up kind of like a buffet.
The lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, cheese, and some bacon slices. With buns on the other side of the food.
Clay helped Jason outside, standing with him at the grill, smiling as he heard Ally squeal as Mikey sat with her on the swing set.
"Is Mia coming tonight for dinner?" he asked.
Jason shook his head, "nah, I am pretty sure she is going to get dinner with Connor after shopping" he explained.
Clay nodded, "I get it" he sighed, rubbing a hand over his face, "I know I missed out on my chance, but I am in a hard situation. I have Stella on one side and my girls on the other side. I have already talked to Stella about her behavior. I don't know what else to do" he sounded defeated.
Jason patted his shoulder, "Clay, I have already talked to you about this. You are the one who has to make the move. Mia is trying to be patient with you and also avoid you like the plague" he stated.
"Yeah, I know. I am going to try harder with her" Clay replied.
Jason gave him a knowing look. "You better, you better make this valentine's day worth it for her" he said.
Clay nodded, "I already got something for Mia and Ally. You know the infinity necklace I got her for Christmas, I got her a charm for Ally. I got Ally a small bracelet with an angel and cross on it" he informed Jason.
"That's really nice. Are you planning something with Stella?" he asked.
Clay wiped a hand over his face, "yeah, I think we are going to dinner" he replied.
He really wasn't sure what they were doing. Stella was the one who made the arrangements.

Valentine's Day…
The morning of Valentine's Day, Mia made heart shaped pancakes for her and her brother's family.
She made a pancake breakfast buffet.
As soon as they walked in, she greeted them with Ally in her arms, both dressed in red heart pajamas, "Happy Valentine's Day!" she shouted.
Jason shook his head as they walked in and greeted each other, "you are such a dork" he teased his sister.
Mia smiled and wrapped her arm around her brother's waist, "embrace the holiday Jase" she replied.
He kissed her cheek, "you are still such a dork" he stated, taking his niece into his arms, kissing her cheek, "hi gumdrop" he greeted, smiling as she started squealing and talking to him.
Being only 11 months, Ally was starting to say a few words and could have a conversation with you.
She really enjoyed talking and rambling about nonsense. It was cute. She could sit and talk to dolls or pictures on the wall for hours.
"Well Grumpy, come have some pancakes. I got this new heart shaped baking mold and tried it this morning" Mia informed them.
"It looks really good Mia, thanks" Cole said helping himself to some pancakes.
Mia smiled, taking a sip of her tea as she leant against the island. "Good, I hope you like them" she replied.
Emma bounced over and put her hand out to show her aunt, "look Aunt Mia, Cole got me this" Emma showed her the gold bracelet with a heart carved into it holding her birthstone.
Mia grabbed her hand and turned it to look over. "Wow honey, that looks really nice" she said before smiling at Cole, "you did good" she stated.
He started blushing and smiled around the pancakes.
"Thanks, my sister helped me pick it out" he stated.
Mia smiled, "I am glad you guys had a great holiday. Are you going to be able to come to the party tonight?" she asked as she made herself a plate.
He nodded, "yeah, I have to go home and change, pick up Izzy, but we'll be there"
"Good, I will see you guys after the charity dinner. Emma, I am going to pack a bag and have you take it to Ray's so I can change after the dinner" she informed them.
"Clay good with that?" Jase asked.
"I don't really give a S.H.I.T." she replied.
Mickey, Emma, and Cole started laughing, Jason smirking. "Good for you sis, you deserve better than that asshole" he teased.
Mia slapped Jason across the shoulder, "behave" she stated.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
After breakfast, the kids left to chill and change before the party, so Mia met up with Grace at the mall.
Her friend called her and told her that she had a surprise and she needed Mia's help with something.
Grace told her to meet her in front of the food court, so she had no idea what was going on.
Mia walked over and stood in front of the food court with her phone out, ready to call Grace, when she saw her walking over.
"Grace, what the hell is going on?" she asked concerned.
"I brought you here for something really special" Grace replied, wrapping her arm through Mia's dragging her through the mall to stop in front of a store causing Mia to glare at her friend.
"Are you serious Grace?" she asked.
Gracie looked at her with a smile, "yes, it is Valentine's Day, consider this my present to you" she replied leading her into the store.
Mia blushed as they walked in, stopping to be greeted by the attendant.
"Hi ladies, how can I help you?" she asked.
"My friend here is a sex store virgin. She needs something to help take care of herself discreetly" Grace informed her.
"Okay, I have just the thing, please follow me" the attendant said.
As Grace dragged Mia through the store, she glared at her friend, "I am going to seriously kill you Gracie" she stated.
Grace looked at her friend, "you need this, Mia. If you aren't going to talk to Clay about this, then you need to take care of this yourself" she replied.
The attendant led them to an area of the store where there was lingerie.
She pulled out a pair of boxed panties and handed them to Mia.
"These are vibrating panties. It is similar to having a vibrator, but these are more discreet" she explained as she handed Mia the box.
Mia smiled politely, "I appreciate your help, but I won't be needing these" she said as Grace shook her head and took the panties from Mia.
"Absolutely not, you are taking these" she stated, looking at the attendant, "thank you for your help, we'll take these" Grace dragged her to the cash register.
She bought the panties for Mia, handing her the bag. "You are welcome" she replied as they walked out of the store.
Mia just shook her head, "I am going to kill you Grace" she said as they walked out towards the parking lot.
"I'll see you later at the party. I have to get to ready to go to the charity dinner" Mia gave her friend a hug and kiss on the cheek.
"Have fun" Gracie teased, wiggling her eyebrows.
Mia scoffed, glaring at her friend as she got in her car to leave.
She went straight to the store to meet Paulie and Connor. They were waiting for her at the store.
Mia pulled in right in front of the store.
"Hey, I am sorry I am late" she grabbed her bag of stuff and went into the store, greeting them with a hug.
Paulie shook her head, "no worries, you are right on time" she replied opening the door, letting her in.
Mia put her bag down and greeted Connor with a hug.
"Hey Connor" she said.
"Hi, you ready for tonight?" he asked.
She nodded, "yeah, is it weird that I am a little nervous?" she replied.
Paulie snorted, "with the hyenas you are going to be around, no" she stated leading her to the dressing room.
Connor grabbed her bag and put it in the dressing room for her.
Paulie helped her change and put her dress and accessories on. The dress was beautiful.
After changing into the red ball gown, Mia put on her shoes and walked out to see that Paulie had arranged makeup and hair.
She got her hair done at the same time as getting her makeup done.
"What are we doing tonight?" the hairdresser asked.
"I think an updo would look good with the dress" Paulie stated.
Mia nodded in agreement, "whatever you think is best" she replied.
Paulie and the Glam Squad helped Mia get herself together for the charity dinner before it was Paulie's turn to change.
Once the girls were done getting changed and getting themselves together, Connor got himself into a dressing room to change into his tux.
They looked really nice together.
"Wow, you clean up really nice Dr. Rhodes" Mia teased as she stood next to him in front of the mirror.
"We both clean up nice" he replied, turning to Mia, giving her a once over.
"You really do look beautiful" he added.
"Thank you" she replied to him before turning to Paulie who was wearing a similar dress but in white and pink.
They all looked beautiful.
"Are we ready to get this shit show on the road?" Paulie teased coming up to them.
Mia couldn't help but laugh as Connor shook his head at his sister's antics.
He directed them out and to his car.
The ride to the charity ball was not very far. It was in downtown Virginia Beach.
Connor pulled up and pulled straight to the valet.
"Thank you, Dr. Rhodes, enjoy your night" the young man said taking his keys and giving Connor the ticket for the car.
Connor walked in the middle of them, the girls interlocking their arms through his as they all walked in.
All eyes were on them as they walked through the ballroom doors. People were smiling and whispering as they walked into the party.
Mia glanced at Connor and Paulie smiling. She knew they were going to be talked about, but not like that.
"Jesus, I feel like a piece of steak in a room full of lions" she whispered to them.
"I told you" Paulie teased.
Before anyone could say anything else, Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes walked over.
"Connor" Mr. Rhodes greeted his son.
"Hi Pop" he greeted, nodding at him.
"We are glad you could make it honey" Mrs. Rhodes said.
"Thanks Grams, I would like to introduce you both to Dr. Mia Hayes" he introduced Mia to his father and grandmother.
"Welcome Dr. Hayes, we are glad you could join us. I'm Louise Rhodes" she greeted.
"Mia Hayes" Mia shook her hand, "it's nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes. Thanks so much for having me tonight, it's an honor being here" she replied.
"You are welcome. Please, join us at the table" Mrs. Rhodes said.
After everyone was seated, Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes got up to make their speech.
The waiters brought out cups of tea, scones and two cucumber sandwiches.
"I would like to thank everyone for coming tonight. As many of you know, my family and I are the founders of the Rhodes foundation in Chicago but when we heard about this event, we couldn't miss it" he paused, "on behalf of my family and I, we would like to announce our support and donation to the Virginia Beach Hospital and the Navy Hospital in support of our Military men and women" he announced causing everyone to stand up and start clapping.
"That was a great speech" Mia whispered to Connor at the table as they started eating.
"Yeah, my father has always been diplomatic and political. He knows how to act in public. It's private, that's the issue" he replied.
Throughout the whole dinner, people couldn't keep their eyes off their table.
"So, we hear that you work with Connor at the Virginia Beach Hospital as well as the Military hospital" Mr. Rhodes started the conversation.
Mia nodded as she helped herself to some tea. "Yes, my family is from a long line of service men. My brother is in the Navy, so it seemed like the right fit" she replied.
Mrs. Rhodes nodded, "I can appreciate that" she stated.
Connor leant over and whispered in her ear, "having fun yet?" he asked.
Mia smiled against her teacup, "yes, you guys got me all nervous for no reason. This party is fine" she teased.
He scoffed, "that's because there are witnesses" he replied.
After a couple hours at the dinner, Connor showed Mia around the dinner and started introducing her to everyone.
"Grandmother we have to be going" Connor made his way back to their family.
Mrs. Rhodes nodded, giving each of them a hug, "it was a pleasure having you here" she said to both Connor and Mia.
"It was nice to meet you" Mia replied.
"A pleasure dear. Please come again" she stated.
"It would be my pleasure" Mia said.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::;
The guys all made their way to Ray's house for Valentine's Dinner.
Naimah had the whole house decorated beautifully. There were red, pink, and white hearts and streamers everywhere.
"Damn Ray" Jason exclaimed when he walked in with Ally, Cole, Emma, and Mikey.
"I like it Aunt Naimah" Emma replied.
"Dad, you better get everything out before Aunt Mia gets here and reams you out" Mikey teased.
Jason scoffed, "yeah, tell me about it" he replied, knowing what a dork his sister was for the holidays.
"Uh, did you not see her house at Christmas. I was just trying to compete with Mia" Naimah stated looking around the room proud of herself.
"You did great Aunt Naimah" Mike made himself comfortable on the patio, holding his arms out for Ally.
She rested comfortably against her cousin's chest, her tiny fists squeezing his shirt as she cuddled into him.
Stella was getting ready at Clay's house.
"Dinner was wonderful honey" she said.
He nodded as he changed out of his suit and into some jeans and a t-shirt.
"I am glad you liked it Stel, you deserved it" he stated.
"Also, I wanted to thank you for the necklace honey, it is beautiful" she replied leaning over to give him a kiss.
He smiled, "you are welcome honey" he said discretely grabbing two gift bags and took them into the main room.
Stella came out a few minutes later. "Ready?" she asked.
He nodded and led her out to the car. It didn't take them long to get to Ray's house.
There was already a line of cars in the driveway and down the street.
"There are a lot of people here" Stella noticed.
Clay nodded, "yeah, Ray invited the Teams over. That's what we usually do when we have barbecues or holiday parties" he replied.
She should know this; she has been to multiple parties with everyone before.
The TEAMS were like a family. They always celebrated the big stuff together.
Clay walked in with Stella and immediately locked eyes with Mikey who had Ally cuddled into his chest.
Mikey nodded at his uncle. "Hey Uncle Clay" he greeted.
"Hi Mikey, how's she doing? Where's your dad and your aunt?" he asked.
"She did okay. We picked her up after breakfast, this morning because Aunt Mia had plans. We had fun, she was my cheerleader while I kicked Cole's ass in street hockey" he teased.
Clay laughed, "nice" he replied leaning forward to pick up his daughter and cuddling her into his arms.
Turning to kiss her temple.
"Hi Angel" he whispered against her temple.
"Dad is in the back with Uncle Ray and the other guys" Mikey stated.
Clay nodded and turned to Stella, "I'm going to head back to see Jase and the guys" he said.
She nodded and followed him, "I'll go with you" she replied, nodding to Mikey on her way out.
Jason nodded at him when he saw Clay walk through the patio doors.
"Hey, took you long enough" he teased.
Clay shrugged, rubbing a hand up and down his daughter's back.
"We went out first and exchanged gifts" he replied.
"Nice to see you, Stella. Happy Valentines' Day" Jason greeted.
Stella smiled, "thank you" she was really quiet.
She didn't want to cause problems with Jason and the TEAMS anymore.
"Where's Mia?" she asked.
"She's on a date. She should be back soon" Jason stated.
"I thought it was a charity dinner for the hospital?" Clay questioned.
Emma nodded, "it is Uncle Clay" she replied.
"Aunt Mia showed me her dress and it was beautiful. She looked beautiful in it" she added.
"I am sure she did. She always does," Clay commented without even realizing it.
The guys all turned to look at him surprised. They knew he realized his mistake because he looked at Stella and gulped.
"I'm sorry Stell, it just came out" he apologized.
Naimah stepped forward, "come on Stella, why don't you come help me get the noise makers for the kids" she suggested.
She pulled Stella away from the guys and into the house so they could get the noise makers for the kids.
Naimah wanted to get her away from the situation.
As everyone started eating and making themselves comfortable around the fire pit, they saw lights reflecting through to the backyard.
On the way home, Connor had asked her if she wanted to go back to her apartment to change, but she told him that Emma had her bag ready for her.
Connor just pulled in front of the driveway to drop Mia off at Rays.
"Do you want to come in with me?" she asked.
"Nah, I better get back home. Paulie and I usually debrief after these events" he teased.
Mia laughed, "okay, well thank you for a wonderful night. I really appreciated meeting your family and getting to know you more" she said giving him a hug as she grabbed her bag and got out of the car.
"Thank you for coming Mia. I really appreciate you helping me out with this" he replied.
She nodded, "it was no problem, Connor" she said.
Mia waited for him to leave before she made her way up the driveway to Ray's house.
Naimah saw her inside the kitchen when Mia walked in, "damn girl, you look hot" she teased.
Mia laughed and walked over with a smile, greeting her friend with a hug.
"Thanks Naimah" she replied, "where is everyone?" she asked, putting her stuff down on the stairs, taking off her shoes.
Naimah nodded towards the back patio, "everyone is out back. Just heads up, Stella is here with Clay" she warned her.
Mia nodded in understanding, "I figured that" she replied walking through the house with Naimah to the back patio where everyone was gathered.
"Hey everyone" she greeted as she padded over barefoot to greet her brother, nieces, and nephews.
"Aunt Mia, you look beautiful" Mikey greeted her with a hug and kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks Mikey" she greeted, keeping her arm around his shoulders.
"Did you guys have fun today?" she asked.
He nodded, "yeah, we played street hockey, and I taught Ally to kick some ass at Call of Duty" he explained as he helped her over to his dad.
"Hey Mims, you look beautiful" Jason greeted his sister keeping her close to him.
"Thanks Jase how was my angel?" she asked.
"She was good, don't worry about her Mims. You know we got her. Clay just got here and wanted to spend some time with her" he informed his sister, nodding to where Clay was standing with Ally in his arms staring at them.
Mia nodded and turned to make her way over to Clay and Ally.
She patted her daughter on the back, "hi princess" she whispered against her temple, giving her a kiss.
When Mia pulled away, she pressed a hand to the chest of her dress to keep it against her.
"You look beautiful Mia" he commented.
She smiled, "thanks Clay" she replied, "I am going to change and then I'll be out to spend some time with her" she informed him.
He nodded, "we'll be here" he said.
She gave her daughter another kiss before going inside with Emma and grabbing her duffle bag.
"I'll be right back Em" she took her bag to the bedroom and changed her clothes.
Once she put on some leggings and a tank top, she made her way back down, leaving her purse by the stairs.
Ally was crawling towards her mom, Otis chasing after her, making Mia smile and lean down to pick up her daughter.
Her purse spilled on the floor, Otis running through her things.
Mia was jolted at the vibrations going through her. A soft vibration spread in her core.
"Son of a bitch" she forgot that she was wearing the underwear from the sexy toy store.
Clay walked over, looking at Mia concerned.
He took Ally from her arms, "are you okay Mims?" he asked.
Mia saw Cole coming in the kitchen to grab another beer. She leant to her daughter, "go play with Cole baby" she turned Ally so she could wobble towards Cole.
He picked her up and took her outside to join everyone else and play in the jungle gym.
Once Ally was out of sight, Mia sagged against Clay, her forehead resting against his collarbone.
"Clay" she groaned; her muscles clenched involuntarily around the remote-controlled panties.
He put his arm around her shoulders, one hand digging in her hair, massaging her scalp.
"Mia, what's going on?" he asked.
Mia forgot that she had the panties on when she changed at Paulie's store. They were the only panties she had. She didn't have any other options.
The vibration got more intense, her eyes crossing as her knees buckled.
Clay wrapped an arm around her waist, holding her up, moving so they were out of sight so he could rest against the wall.
"Clay, I … Grace…we…she got me vibrating underwear" she panted trying to catch her breath as she explained everything.
He smirked, nodding in understanding.
"And you thought it would be a good idea to wear them tonight in front of everyone?" he teased.
Mia gulped, "they were the only panties I had and now I can't find the remote" she whined as the vibrations moved throughout her panties.
Clay moved them so he could rest against the wall and Mia could rest against him.
"Okay, just rest against me and ride out the wave" he whispered against her ear, trailing his lips across her jaw.
Clay barely touched her and the minimal contact of skin on skin intensified the sensations in her body.
Clay couldn't help but smile as Mia moved so she was grinding against his thigh, the vibration increasing and moving in patterns.
Otis was running around the house with the remote to the panties in his mouth, pressing at the different buttons, causing the vibrations to increase.
Mia gripped his arm and shoulder, gasping at the rise in pleasure.
Clay dragged his lips from her ear to her cheek, nuzzling her neck, nipping at her pulse point.
"Damn Mia, you keep making those noises, I am not going to be able to hide this" he pressed his hard bulge against her.
"Clay, my panties are drenched. I need more" she cried against him, pressing so she was pressed against him.
He grabbed her hand and pulled her into the bathroom, locking the door behind them.
Once they were alone, he pushed her back against the counter and dropped to his knees in front of her.
He pulled her leggings down and pulled them until her panties came to view.
Clay could see a wet spot visible on the dark red fabric of her panties.
"Mia, you are so fucking wet" he growled, desire crashing over him.
Mia buckled her knees a little, begging for him.
He pulled the panties down before standing back up and nuzzling her neck as he pressed himself against her.
Clay still had his boxers on so he thrust against her, resting his head in the crook of her neck.
Mia couldn't help but moan as she met his thrusts, grinding against him as he thrust against her.
Even through his boxers, she could feel his tip as he thrust into her, swiping over her clit, the tight ball of pleasure she was feeling brought her right to the edge, splintering into a seismic explosion.
Her whole body tightened as she whimpered as she came, sagging against Clay's body.
He jerked her face towards him for a harsh kiss to swallow her cry as Clay rocked her through her orgasm, as he continued to thrust against her a couple more times until he exploded.
His eyes going black when he finally erupted in his boxers, his forehead sinking down on Mia's neck, breathing her in.
"Goddammit Mia" he panted.
"That was beyond intense" she admitted.
The panties were still vibrating on the floor of the bathroom.
Mia sagged against the counter, panting as she caught her breath.
"We need to find the remote Mia" he commented as he took off his boxers and cleaned himself up, handing her a washcloth.
Mia nodded, cleaning herself up before pulling up her leggings, "Clay, we can't keep doing this" she sighed.
He looked at her surprised as he pulled up his pants.
"I am sorry Mia; I don't know what to do anymore" he stated.
"It's fine. I am just going to ignore this, but we have to stop" she was defeated.
He nodded, leading her out, helping her fix her hair as she picked up the panties and got out of the bathroom.
Clay could see that Otis was running around with the remote in his mouth.
He stopped him shortly, taking it from him and giving it to Mia.
"I found the remote" he said.
She took it from him and put it in her purse.
Trying to make herself look presentable, she took herself to the kitchen to wash her face.
Resting against the counter, "Clay, I don't want to cause problems with this situation between us and Stella" she said.
"Mia, this is one of those situations where you needed me, and I was there for you. That is something that I don't want to lose with you" he replied, kissing her cheek giving her the gift bag.
He walked away before she could open it. Mia watched him go with tears in her eyes.
She pulled out her phone and called Grace.
"Hey Bitchy, what's up?" Grace asked.
"Grace, I am going to kill you for making me buy that underwear. I forgot I had them on and I had a full-blown orgasm with Clay" she vented.
"WHAT!" Grace yelled through the phone, moving so she was alone in the breakroom.
"What do you mean full blown orgasm?" Grace added.
"I forgot I had the underwear on when I changed out of my dress. The remote fell out of my purse and Otis had it on full intensity the whole time. Clay found me and so we got each other off" she explained.
"Holy Shit Mia" Grace vented, "what does that mean? What are you going to do?" she asked.
"That is what I am calling you for. I need advice, Grace. What am I supposed to do? Nothing is going to change" she complained.
"Things better change. He needs to drop that bitch and see the fucking light" she exclaimed.
Mia couldn't help but laugh. "I hope so. Okay I'll let you go, I just needed to vent" she replied.
"Happy Valentine's Day Bitchy" Grace stated.
"Happy Valentine's Day Bitchy" Mia wiped her tears as she opened the gift bag and saw that it was a charm of a little girl holding a heart that matched her infinity necklace and bracelet.
She pulled out the card and cried even more,
"Happy Valentine's Day to one of the most important women in my life. I love you Mia and I love the family that we have built. I hope to spend infinity loving you and our daughter.
Happy Valentine's Day!
XOXO,
Clay"
