She was shorter than Harry by about a head, and Harry couldn't help noticing, nervous as he was, that she was extremely pretty. She smiled at Harry as the teams faced each other behind their captains, and he felt a slight lurch in the region of his stomach that he didn't think had anything to do with nerves.
"HARRY, THIS IS NO TIME TO BE A GENTLEMAN!" Wood roared as Harry swerved to avoid a collision. "KNOCK HER OFF HER BROOM IF YOU HAVE TO!"

The day after the victory everyone was talking about Sirius Black's excursion into Gryffindor Tower.
However there was another discussion between a pair of twins, Fred and George Weasley.
"You know, Harry's been on edge since the beginning of this year," said Fred.
"I strongly think it's him Black is after," said George.
"How do you figure that?" asked Fred.
"Dementors were placed around the school long before Black was even sighted in Scotland," George pointed out. "He's said to be You-Know-Who's right hand man. It's either Harry or Dumbledore he's after. If it was Dumbledore, he would have tried breaking into the Headmasters Office by now and killing Dumbledore. Harry is in Gryffindor, and the man showed up in Gryffindor Tower."
"Well, what can we possibly do?" asked Fred, confusion on his face.
"Well, we can try to give Harry something he'll be happy about," smiled George. "Remember the match the other day. Harry has never gone easy on other Seekers in the past, and yet he slowed up for Cho Chang himself."
"That's why he blushed," realised Fred, suddenly remembering Harry's face when the Ravenclaw team showed up.
"What?" asked George.
"He was blushing when the Ravenclaw team came strolling on the pitch," grinned Fred. "He must have noticed her."
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking, uglier brother."
"We get Harry a girlfriend, much uglier brother."
And so a plan was made. They had to get everything right. They checked Harry's schedule and found that fourth year Ravenclaws had Potions before Harry.
They planned meticulously. They didn't want to mess up the timing. They both really wanted to give Harry some joy. The thirteen-year-old was one of the most depressed students in Hogwarts.
A couple days later when Harry was in potions his cauldron started bubbling purple sparks everywhere.
Before he could control it the potion had exploded all over Harry. Snape grudgingly let Harry leave for the Hospital Wing.
When he got there Madam Pomfrey was talking to another student behind the curtain.
When she came out and saw him she just sighed.
"Maybe I should get you your own bed with the Potter Coat of Arms hanging above. You visit here too often."
Harry gave her a sheepish smile.
"Let's check you over, shall we," she said.
She checked him over with a diagnostic charm.
"It seems you have to stay here for a few hours," she said. "At least classes are now ended."
"However, all bed wards in here but one got damaged last night," she continued. "You wouldn't mind sharing this one here would you with another student. I've moved three beds into this one."
Harry didn't mind at all though. He was glad at the idea of having someone other than Ron and Hermione to talk to.
However those thoughts went away when he saw who was in there.
Cho Chang, Ravenclaw Seeker was in one bed with an injured hand and she had an eyebrow singed off.
"Don't look at my face," she mumbled, turning her face away from him. "I'm hideous."
Harry's Gryffindor ability of speaking first and rushing ahead took over him.
"Don't be silly," consoled Harry. "You're pretty no matter what."
Cho turned to face him, her eyes shining.
"You think I'm pretty?"
Harry wanted to kick himself. And the hat thought I belonged in Slytherin.
"Well, I think you're pretty cute yourself," she chimed.
Harry's blush was now as red as Ron's hair.
"Well, don't continue to stand there," she said gently. "Didn't Madam Pomfrey tell you to get into bed."
Harry made his way to the middle bed and laid down.
"How are you doing Harry?" she asked.
"Great," said Harry.
"I didn't get the chance to tell you this Harry," she continued. "But that was an excellent game you played the other day. With that Firebolt you're certainly a challenging opponent. But I have to say that something had you distracted that day. I've never seen you play like that before."
Harry once again blushed. He now figured out why he played like that. He wasn't trying to be a gentleman. He had a crush on the beautiful witch who was now talking to him.
"I wasn't distracted," he feebly said. "The sun was in my eyes."
"There was no sun that day," said Cho in confusion. "It was a cloudy sky, and you've played great in the sun."
Harry had no idea what to say. Inwardly he was berating himself for speaking before thinking. But he also didn't want to say why he was distracted.
Suddenly a voice came into his mind. What is the matter with you Potter. You like her. Ask her out. ASK HER OUT.
The voice kept repeating those three words over and over again. Harry had the strange feeling the voice belonged to one of the twins.
Suddenly he bolted upright. This was most certainly arranged. The twins clearly knew of his crush on Cho.
The fire inside him was raging. But he would certainly take the opportunity. He figured he deserved to have a girlfriend.
"I was distracted at that game Cho," he admitted, now feeling surprisingly confident.
"By what."
"You."
Harry waited for her response. She turned to face him. Her eyes were smiling at him.
"Me."
"I know I'm only thirteen," said Harry confidently. "But will you be my girlfriend."
"Help me up Harry," she said. "I'm having trouble with my hand."
Harry reached out and took her injured hand gently. Something pulsed though him as he touched her hand.
"Here is your answer."
And with that she gave his cheek a peck, practically short-circuiting his brain.
"We'll have a real kiss once we go on our first date."
They arranged to meet up the next day outside by the lake for a picnic.
Fred and George were in the Common Room testing out one of their inventions when a smiling Harry Potter came through the Common Room door.
"Well, look at this George," said Fred.
"Am I seeing things," continued George. "Or is Harry smiling. Someone pinch me."
And somebody did. Harry himself.
"Ouch, that hurt," cried George, as Harry gave him a particularly strong pinch.
"What happened Harry?" asked Fred, though his eyes betrayed his emotions. He was gleeful.
"What's the best way to put this, hmm," pondered Harry. "Well I have a girlfriend and neither of you don't. And I don't think that's gonna change any time soon."
And with a wink Harry went upstairs to his dormitory.
"He's figured us out," scowled Fred.
"And we've given him one too many wings," laughed George. "But he's right."
"About what?" asked Fred.
"Why don't we have girlfriends?"
AN: I always liked Cho. Harry has no sensitivity in any of his interactions with Cho. I've seen Cho hating stories on FanFiction before (a long time ago) and it's honestly ridiculous. Harry had a crush on her first so it wasn't a Boy-Who-Lived thing.
One more thing I'd like to get cleared up. The last two years I've been getting reviews and PM's from people who believe I'm American. I'm Irish and living in Ireland. Although the messages do make me laugh.
