Chapter 69

Ire is being directed towards him from both sides. Still with his wife in his arms, Gogeta looks at the two women engaged to Vegeta. He blows a sharp breath of air and dispels Ryoko's sword for a second time. Chichi is becoming self conscious and pushes against Gogeta, he releases her and she steps back. Her confusion over his identity is still there but he has shown her that he is her Goku, for some part. Gogeta stretches his arms and turns to the Juraians. He kneels down and Sasami looks about wondering if he is motioning for her since she is the only one of that height around. Black hair with purple streaks down the side push past. Father and son are united for the first time. Misaki and Chichi cannot help but smile at this scene of parent and child, the two Metamoran vest wearers hug. Strain enters the biceps of the fused Saiyans as they constrict a bear hug upon the other. Gogeta stands and lifts up his failing son and chuckles as he lets him go. He is the strongest fighter now, not Gotenks.

"Didn't I leave grandpa looking after you to do your homework? Did you finish it all?" The appearance of the fused children does not phase Chichi as she is used to these antics, it does not escape her that Goten has to have disobeyed her to come here as part of Gotenks. She puts her hands on her hips and looks down at her half son.

"Yeah, yeah, I did it all. Piece of cake, I'm like super smart – and it ain't like I go to school. Why you here anyway, thought Goku was taking you on a date and now dad's here. Am I missing something?" Cockily he responds. The work was done but he did not specify that it was him as a fusion and not Goten as an individual. Gotenks questions why this situation arose for him to arrive to. Trunks and Goten both sensed the fusion and knew what had to be done to create him again, Gogeta was not something they expected today however.

Chichi pauses to think of an adequate response, and whether she should discipline such a smart mouthed child. Part of the explanation she was forming steps forward. A second bear hug greets Gotenks as Misaki seizes this new child. Gotenks does not look amused. Misaki purrs with satisfaction and happily proclaims that she has another grandchild: she sees it as thus and delving any deeper is a bit confusing for her. Gogeta raises a finger to correct her and then ponders what the correct answer is. A flurry of cyan hair flutters in front of him. Ryoko glowers up at this fused Saiyan and properly poses that question to him, of the details, of the relationships and where they stand.

"Bet you're understanding now how Vegeta dealt with Ryeka, right? I am neither Goku nor Vegeta, I am Gogeta. My wife is Chichi, my son is Gotenks. As for you two I can't blame you for wanting an upgrade to the perfect Saiyan and the most powerful warrior ever, but that is not what I have chosen. I'm already married. You are still engaged to Vegeta, I cannot honour those and so at best to the awesome Gogeta you're kinda mistresses or along those lines. Royal concubines, not that Saiyans had those." Gogeta outlines his personal view on the three women he was born involved with. He is not the man they are engaged to. His choice has been made and Chichi was the victor in his eyes.

She almost hits him. Ryoko's fist hangs in the air between them and behind her a horrified gasp comes from Ayeka. The princess covers her mouth in pained shock. Those words hurt them. His lifespan is 30 minutes so consequences and sugar coating are not issues he concerns himself with. Ayeka's knees have gone to jelly. For her to be described as something so shameful as a common concubine stings her heart and her pride. The intermingled voice of Vegeta wounds them, the phrase about not honouring his engagement nurtures dreadful doubts. Ryoko shakes her head. She will not be treated as a disposable woman again. Her lip quivers. Ayeka holds onto her mother for support.

"Bulma! What about her?" One hand clutches at the seashell necklace as Ayeka raises her voice at the new fusion. If they mean so little to him then she wants to know what his opinion is of the other wife he should have.

"Don't blame me for the hand I am dealt and have to play. As a fusion naturally I have two lovers, I do not choose for this. So technically my actual wife would be a … a frightening, a terrifying fusion of both Bulma and Chichi. Unfortunately-"

"Terrifying?" Chichi's harrowing gaze bores into the adult fusion and a cold sweat drips down his flesh. There is fear on his face. Terrifying is no way to describe the one you proclaim to love.

"Terrifyingly beautiful I meant to say, did I misspeak? Your bewitching charms captivate my brain so I find the words escape me. I am so smitten already with yourself, Princess Chichi, that if somehow you were to fuse with- … with … the other … woman … I love. Missy, polygamy, go!" Gogeta has a shovel in his hands and keeps digging. Frying pan and fire come to mind. He clicks his fingers and points to the Queen of Jurai to help explain a multiple partner marriage and aid his ailing position.

Gotenks makes a signal, drawing a finger across his neck and tuts in disappointment at his damned father. A single nervous laugh comes from Gogeta before he screams, his arm pinned against his back with Chichi levering it higher and higher. The Queen smiles at him. She was going to speak however being unkind to her daughter cost him a few seconds and his wife did not have the courtesy to wait that long before striking. Chichi will not tolerate unfaithfulness or be ensnared by his forked tongue speaking words she knows her Goku has not the foggiest what they mean. Ryoko and Ayeka will not come to his aid. With a look of confusion on her face, the youngest Juraian looks up at her mother for answers as to what is happening. The police find it best if they do not get themselves involved in this.

The child of Gogeta pulls his mother from his father. Gotenks perfectly understands the standpoint and opinions of Gogeta. This treatment as an outsider he also deems unfair and unjust. They are given memories and emotions and are thrust into sudden existence and for the rest of it treated as some half and half cocktail, living under constant comparison and outcast always for the other half. He had two mothers and neither saw him as their own child, just some freak from a technique. Gotenks grins up at his dad and challenges him to a sparring match.

"Why would I want to train?"

A stunned silence fills the corridor. Chichi heavily falls over backwards, shocked to the extreme. No-one can believe their ears as Gogeta looks about wondering what he has done. He thought people would be happier that this massive barrier no longer impedes all social interaction. This removes all illusion from the women that this person has anything to do with the Saiyans they know. Gotenks pulls at his dad's trousers and tells him to stop kidding about.

"You're no match for me. Nothing is. My power is undisputed. There is no training out there that would challenge me. I'm not going to waste my precious time on something so boring and meaningless as training when I could instead be with my wife."

He holds no motivation to improve himself and sees no way that some trivial training could improve his vast power. There is no challenge for Gogeta in anything, nothing to test himself with, no battle to prove himself with, and with training he will only serve to further his own boredom. He has no rival, he has a worry however that his strength might be too much for Earth to bear. His strength will alter faster if Goku and Vegeta train, not him. Gogeta turns and smiles at Chichi and offers her a hand to help her back up.

"If Bulma were here you wouldn't be like this." Ryoko states with disgust.

The otherwise meaningless complaint of Ryoko causes an epiphany in the Juraian Princess. Ayeka understands what she is saying now to Gogeta. She has deciphered Gogeta and the reasoning for his obsessive actions over Chichi. Contradictorily Vegeta's love for Bulma is pushing Gogeta to pursue his wife as aggressively as he is. Part of Gogeta's psyche originates from a man grieving over his lost wife, a man who regrets the time he could have spent with Bulma but selfishly chose not to. This fusion has the same regrets and so is making sure that what little time he has he will spend with the woman he loves and let no distractions intervene.

"And neither would you. Your point being?" Without hesitation Gogeta bats Ryoko's comment back at her. He is who he is and pointless hypotheticals do not mean anything to him. He reaches down for his wife but Chichi does not take his hand.

"... You have to train, to protect us, and everyone else."

That is the reason she tells herself every night to explain Goku's obsession. She wanted Gogeta to come forth so that her fears would be allayed, not for him to mess about. This is time she wants him to train. Chichi looks up at the Saiyan and he mischievously grins at her. He has an idea. Bending down he lifts her into his arms with a swiftness she cannot avoid and his and her form both vanish. Ryoko flies off back downstairs and the Juraians follow her. With a casual stroll the forgotten about fusion goes over to Kiyone. Gotenks asks her for an explanation as to what is going on and she has less of an idea than he does. He lets out an exasperated sigh. Curious he asks them if any laws exist for people fused like him and Mihoshi nods then pauses as they are very complex and not something she studied.

"Die you filthy monkey scum!"

Purple flashes light up the sky as bolt after bolt pass directly through the stationary form of Gogeta holding Chichi. With terror in her eyes she trembles in his arms. A tailed terror of the universe hurls attack after attack in frustration at the Saiyan who fails to retaliate. Gogeta leans in so she can hear his whisper as he tells her that the alien before them is Frieza. Chichi can barely see the overlord through all the flashes of ki and the insane speeds of the foe. This is the monster on Namek that attacked her son and nearly killed her husband. He sees how shaken up she is. Being unable to detect his rapid movement to dodge every attack that flows so slowly towards him she is getting scared at seeing all these attacks seemingly strike her. She huddles up to him. Gogeta raises a barrier. A strong and shining wall of ki thwarts all attempts by Frieza. He reassures her that he will keep his word and keep her safe from every terror that exists. Gogeta shall prove himself to her.

"Look Frieza. I'll defeat you without using my arms, and without becoming a Super Saiyan." He shouts, full of confidence, at Frieza and mocks the greatly inferior power of who once held his current title of universe's strongest fighter.

The roar of Frieza is cut short with a boot impacting into his face and driving his head and body down into the ground below with an almighty stomp. Gogeta is disappointed that that was all it took. He lowers his wife for in her current state standing might be beyond her and sets Chichi down on the ground before Frieza. His boot lifts. Frieza still draws breath. Chichi recoils and hurries to her fused husband's legs where a hand bars her.

"You are perfectly safe. I disabled this weakling and he poses no threat. Strike him for yourself. Go on and see how much danger you are in when I have trained as little as this runt." Heroically posing, Gogeta offers this opportunity to his wife.

Eyes burning with hatred stare up at this Saiyan. Incapable of breathing, Frieza survives off of his ability to withstand airless space. His body is crushed and for all his might he cannot move. Able to move mountains individually pebble by pebble at the same time, the telekinetic might of Gogeta combats all forms of ki Frieza has left and easily debilitates him. From outside the training room the onlookers gawk. Frieza was taken out by a non transformed Saiyan. The Juraian mother keeps Sasami behind her to shield her from seeing this. Chichi reaches up for Gogeta and lashes out with a leg to glance off of Frieza to see if this will appease him and get her to safety quicker. She is not a combatant, she was shielded from the majority of this side of the world by her Goku, he did not tell her more than she needed to know to stop her from worrying. Gogeta smiles at her and lifts her up onto her feet. He flicks with his other hand and a concussive wave blasts Frieza a foot down into the ground. His voice calls out to the training console for his next opponent.

"Oh, it seems my arrogance has misled me. And here I was thinking I was the only one here with combined genetics. You might give my perfect body a decent test... why have you brought a woman onto the battlefield with you?" Cell welcomes this interesting opponent before he gets distracted by this fear struck bystander. He senses strength within her but nothing akin to that of the excitingly powerful Saiyan exuding a ki signature that melds both Goku and Vegeta into one.

"This is my wife, Chichi. How else am I going to impress the missus if I don't show her me squashing you like a bug. Only one being's allowed to be perfect, Cell, and it can't be you 'cos you will never absorb me."

Her knuckles glance off the hardened, mottled green exoskeleton of Cell. Chichi inhumanly roars as she impotently attacks Cell in a blind fit of rage. This is the monster known as Cell and she will have her revenge.

For seven years her youngest was unable to see his own father. Her little Goten so longed to see his daddy and nothing she could say or do could stop that. The emptiness of missing a parent she knows and hated seeing her son go through. Years of heartbreak and guilt traumatised Gohan for a death he blamed himself for, and she had the shame of depending on her own struggling son as her pregnancy with Goten developed further. Nights filled with crying. So much suffering came to her children because of this monster. Her knuckles and feet hurt. Tears rolls down her face as she screams vehemently at the foe who took her husband from her for seven long years.

Gogeta holds Cell's wrist inches from Chichi's face. Both of their arms tense as they test the other's strength. Getting his shoulder and back muscles involved, his feet crunch into the simulated ground and he shoves Cell back several dozen metres. Before his frenzied wife can reach him he stands in front of her and blocks her path. Gogeta raises his ki. In the doorway to the training room Gotenks cheers on his parents. An open palm raises and deflects a Kamehameha. Lightning pulses around a black haired Gogeta. He smirks and tells Chichi to wait a moment.

20 seconds later Gogeta drops an exhausted and battered Cell to the ground and kicks him over onto his back like a beetle. He places his boot on the black chest of his downed opponent and presses. Gogeta then orders Cell to apologise to his wife. A stomp crushes the torso of Cell and gives his regeneration something to work on and purple blood is coughed up. Chichi almost breaks one of her toes recklessly kicking the head of Cell, her anguish and fury not satisfied. A pained grunt is all that Cell gives to Gogeta. The fused Saiyan holds out an arm and pulls Chichi close to him so she is less able to injure herself in her hysterics. She struggles and rages, desperately wanting to inflict her years of pain on Cell. Gogeta smiles at her and makes a shushing sound. He lowers a hand over her eyes, Chichi tries to remove it but cannot.

A solid ray of ki burns down onto the ground. The feet of Cell are the first to go. Instant Transmission takes Cell away from the blast and into the awaiting body of Gogeta who floors him with a headbutt and continues in his work of blasting away every last particle of Cell. The wrong words are said by the genetically engineered creation of Dr. Gero. Gogeta leaves the bare minimum and with eyes of ice stares at his victim. Choking breaths and coughs of vital fluid pour from the mouth of Cell as his healing factor is pushed beyond its limit by the constant burning from the fusion. Chichi is barred this sight. Telepathic words echo in her head to distract her from the noise. Excruciating pain zaps at Cell. In a last show of pride the perfect being bites and spits out his tongue so that he can never yield to Gogeta the demand of an apology to the woman he widowed. Gogeta fires a one handed Kamehameha to finish off and obliterate the entirety of Cell.

"Gotenks, your mom has a history with this next one as well. Keep her safe and hold her back." He releases his wife and commands his son to enter the training room.

Chichi flounders forward. Her revenge was unmet. Cell is gone. The fusion of her husband steps a good distance away from her, turns and smiles at her with a thumbs up as Gotenks wraps his arms around his mother. Gold hair floats upwards, eyes light up blue and the entire floor cracks into a mosaic. One last enemy exists that he can spawn in, the zenith of all enemies faced. Tears still stain Chichi's face and Gotenks reassures her as best a cocky kid can. Pink morphs up. Orange and blue dye its manifested vestments. Chichi recognises this enemy. Temporarily fear paralyses her and then she recognises what it is wearing. A strong grip from Gotenks deters her. The grip is awkwardly rigid. As a mother Chichi picks up on her child's nerves. Not even Gotenks thinks he could take this pink foe on when at maximum power.

"You're not Vegito. And I have already absorbed you, and killed you. Most interesting. You mind filling me in as to how this is possible? You Saiyans would not fight an opponent caught off guard and unprepared would you? Namekian dragonballs is my guess. Enlighten me." Buu points to each person before him and lists off why this situation is puzzling him.

Stood wearing the gi that Gohan had fashioned after his father's, the version of Buu that has absorbed Goten, Trunks, Piccolo and Gohan keeps his eyes fixed on the foe he knows to be dangerous. The two beings stare at the other. A long pink head tentacle sways and a segment of the bottom drips off and seeps into the floor. An explosion rocks the ground by Buu and obliterates the planned sneak attack. Bright gold engulfs the horizon. Energy burns thick and heavy in the air. Gogeta raises one hand into the sky and channels energy. This is his declaration of war. Buu will not wait for a further signal and cannot afford to when he senses such an all encompassing power from this fused Saiyan.

Not one motion is allowed. With his other hand Gogeta fires a long lance of golden ki straight through the bulk of the most powerful form of Buu. The energy in his other hand is still charging, twinkling pinpricks or light swirling through the air. Buu is stuck and pushes the energy weapon through himself as it cuts his amorphous form in a bid for freedom. A rain of stardust glitters into his face. Buu shakes it off and realises Gogeta's pinning blade of ki is gone. He then sees that Gogeta has already thrown his attack and nothing has happened. With a roar he dashes forward, the ground crumbling like butter before a hot knife at his speed.

An open palm thunders into the fist of Buu and distorts his gelatinous body. Gogeta swipes Buu's blocked attack to the side and does a high kick to the chin and a roundhouse to the body. Buu recovers and all signs of injury fade from him. Pinkish light glows from the tip of his head tentacle. Gogeta crosses his arms for the match is over.

The attack of Buu diminishes as roars of pain break from Buu and steam pours from the pores in his shoulders and back. Then instead of steam sparkles of ki gush from these openings. The holes on Buu enlarge as the delayed attack of Gogeta eats away and disintegrates every last molecule of Buu in a horrendous shower of light till nothing is left. A sigh comes from Gogeta. That took no effort and he still has two transformations above this. With that there is no-one left to test his strength. There is no training to challenge him.

Gotenks loudly and proudly congratulates his dad on his awesome power and how cool he was in taking down Buu. In truth the son is relieved that for once when his father told him to take care of his mother that he returned back safely and alive. With this Chichi is released. Gotenks rushes to his dad's side and playfully throws a few sparring punches but Gogeta does not react to them nor make any move to block them. Gogeta descends back down to his base form and lets out a deep exhalation as he controls and lowers his ki. He walks over to the woman stood there looking lost and still afraid of all that suddenly happened, and he lifts Gotenks up onto his shoulder to keep the kid happy.

"You really gave Cell hell, ruined your shoes. I didn't mean for it to turn out like that. You Okay, not hurt anywhere?" His hand that cast the killing blow to Buu graces Chichi's cheek as Gogeta shows concern over her emotional outburst and reckless fighting. Gotenks echoes his question like a parrot as he sees the trouble in Chichi's eyes from the exhumation of so many bad memories she had to relive.

She rests her head against his bared chest. Gogeta makes gentle noises of comfort and his hand slides down to her hand as he inspects her knuckles. His wife has a good enough fighting style to minimise too much damage when attacking but he sees a bit of split skin and reddening. There is a flinch as he touches one finger, he has found some damage. Kissing it better would be a romantic move yet after defeating Frieza, Cell and Buu it would not look too good to get his ass handed to him by Chichi. He cradles the back of her head and tells her that there is nothing he cannot protect them from and she agrees, he has proven his reason for not training. She quietly asks him if all of his fights are always so scary. He nods and also bluntly adds to her that he looks forward to more fights of that calibre. That sounds distinctly Saiyan to her. Chichi gets him to promise to not let harm come to anyone if they fight, including himself, and he agrees to this as he fails to see how any opponent could get the better of him.

With the show over they slowly leave the training room with Gogeta being considerate of a potentially delicate Chichi. Gotenks hops from his perch and goes up to the console and calls dibs on this being his turn. He transforms to Super Saiyan 3 and Gogeta warns him that now he will have less time in his fusion, the kid does not care and calls for Sasami to come play – wanting to emulate what his father did. The Queen of Jurai has other ideas as her kind hearted child heeds the call without a second thought, she holds onto Sasami and tells her that it is too dangerous. Gotenks gives the excuse that he only wants help naming his attacks and will not spawn any enemies and reluctantly Misaki lets Sasami go and play and shoots a glance to Gogeta in hope his power will intervene if anything untoward should occur. The Saiyan is unconcerned.

There are not near enough spaces on the sofa for the 7 people. Ryoko could do her part by lounging on the rafters but will not as that does separate her a lot from everyone else. Respecting authority grants Misaki one of the cushions on the sofa, and Ayeka sits next to her mother with Ryoko squeezing in the last remaining spot. Gogeta sits down on nothing but air, there is no strain for him to hold this position and he beckons for Chichi to sit on his lap, which is not an opportunity she jumps at. The police fetch some chairs from the kitchen and Gogeta takes the one his wife was going to use and pulls her down onto him with a cheeky smile on his face. Neither Ryoko or Ayeka do well at hiding their jealousy at this display. With a tut Chichi kicks off her shoes she damaged kicking Cell and gets Gogeta's interest as he sees blood on one of her toes from a broken nail, he sends ki to the wound and telekinetically brings some ice from the freezer to help her with her minor wounds.

"Are you going to be a competitor at our tournament?" Misaki kicks off a conversation with a smile over to the husband and wife pair. It only seems polite for her to offer this invitation after what she saw.

"Your tournament is only of interest as a basis for Goku and Vegeta to fight, that can't happen with me around. Sorry, but you've lost this main attraction."

"I was aiming my question at Chichi and not yourself." The Queen already knows that Gogeta cannot appear at the tournament, she was asking instead whether the woman sat on his lap would want to take part. A great ferocity and strength was shown by her, by the average standard of competitors Chichi would make a great contestant without the involvement of Saiyans.

Chichi shakes her head and declines for she is no fighter and hung her gloves up a long time ago. She has no interest in fighting and has complete faith that the winner is already decided in the form of her husband. The only reason she had for becoming a fighter was Goku and she has already won that prize. She gives her excuses and says that she is a bit out of practise to perform at a professional level. Gogeta chuckles and jigs a leg with her on it. That is a lie and he knows it. Training Goten might have fallen now to Goku or Gohan and not Chichi but that does not mean her power and skills have fallen as much to the wayside as her scholar son. Private sparring matches and bouts between husband and wife he can recall from his shared memory, her having fun playing with her battle obsessed lover. The woman who managed to train a Super Saiyan from scratch can deny her own prowess in fighting yet he will always know the truth.

"When you arrived I was training myself for this tournament. Just like you my skills have become a bit rusty. Was it your firstborn that ended your training?"

Common ground has been found. Misaki is all for making new friends and it is refreshing for her to see that another woman made similar life choices to her own. Chichi nods at that answer, not strictly true but close enough as it was her marriage not pregnancy that ended her fighting career – though with not much time separating those events it would be needlessly picky to correct the Queen.

"I couldn't set a good example for Gohan if all he saw were brainless fighters, no offence to you. Being a mother is taxing enough that it should be counted as training in of itself, I could've done with more support from my Goku. There had to be someone willing to run the household, though Goku does his part by making taxes so easy when he has no job." She looks over her shoulder but this man is not her Goku, he will however hear her words on his behalf.

"Our children are about the same age aren't they? I saw your eldest yesterday, in his hero outfit, you must be so proud to have such a noble and righteous son. How wonderful is this? We share so much in common. Both caring mothers who quit fighting to raise their children. What are the odds?"

"I'm not like you, I can't fly or shoot weird blasts like all these strange alien fighters."

"Those are skills I have yet to learn myself. … Now aren't you grateful, Miss Ryoko, that I do not treat people who hurt my children with as much ferocity as Chichi." Misaki casts a sideways glance to the pirate slouching beside her daughter and in a light tone jokingly refers to her own small retaliation against Ryoko. She has just figured out that Ryoko tricked her into separating Vegeta from Ayeka on the trip to Jurai and for her daughter's sake shall tease the pirate.

An uninterested huff comes from Ryoko. That anger and violence is scary from Chichi, less so from Misaki who she knows she can easily evade if necessary. She does not like Gogeta having Chichi sat on his lap. The housewife does not seem overly comfortable yet is abiding this, and Ryoko reasons that Chichi is taking what affection she can whilst it is being given to her. There are still small scuff marks on her skin tight black and red battle costume from those hits. Ryoko is not in the mood to play games. Those hits were not good for her.

"She'd end you. One punch like you did me. At least you're gonna have a real fight in the tournament now. Vegey and Goku only pull their punches so much. They won't let up because you're a queen like all those sycophants." Ryoko insults Misaki's esteemed titles and reminds her that one guaranteed beating is going to repay the Queen. She knows what Juraians are like, and how greatly they value titles and family names and lineage. Simply she calls Misaki out on having truly been a victor and not a daydreaming fool who people allowed to win due to her status.

"I won my titles by my own merits." The Queen is quick to correct Ryoko. Her eyes narrow for that is a mean slander against some of her proudest accomplishments.

"When you became queen didn't it seem so much easier though? Becoming the dude who beat up the Queen doesn't stick well. You're kind enough you might not hold it against 'em, but old peg leg will just as easily sign an arrest warrant for them."

"Do not call my husband by such a derogatory term!" Misaki's voice raises in anger as she stands up and looms over Ryoko. She has had enough. Mocking her husband's lost limb is not acceptable. Ryoko has attacked her daughters and herself and now she stretches to other members of her beloved family. No-one gets to throw insults like that at her husband. Ayeka bristles along with her mother – and realises it might have been a good thing she has not told her mother who was responsible for that mutilation after they watched Vegeta's past.

"Hey, Ryoko. Simmer down. Bad things always happen when you let your jealousy play up this much. Just play nice for 20 more minutes, little pumpkin." A warning comes from the man who knows how messy it can get and how much of a hassle Ryoko's antics are. He calls her out on her unjustified behaviour. She has no right to be jealous towards him as he is not Vegeta.

"Well if you supposedly love your wife so much when ya gonna tell her she popped a button off fighting? I can see where your eyes are. Size, material, colour." Feline eyes narrow. That nickname of pumpkin she dislikes.

"At least she doesn't pad them like you did."

Gogeta manages that final retort before an embarrassed Chichi tackles him backwards off the chair for taking advantage of her like that – and also for ruining more of her most expensive clothing. Ryoko fumes on the sofa. A hand holds the top of her frilled shirt as she slaps at the raised forearms of Gogeta. Goku is her husband, not Gogeta, and this fusion is not allowed to look at her like that and will not disgrace her by doing it so openly in public. The fusion regrets nothing, he has 20 minutes left and he shall take what he can get. Intervention by the police springs to mind as they get off their chairs but those blows from Chichi deter them, that and as women they do not empathise too much with the objectifying ogling of Chichi. Ryoko's brow furrows for Gogeta is not seeming to mind this harsh reminder he gave her of the violent woman he chose over her.

"Is domestic violence like that the family life that you think is healthy to show your children?" Still stood up since Ryoko slighted her husband, Misaki will not tolerate this household to be overrun by more violence. She tries to end it quickly by going for Chichi's pride as a mother, to deter her from acting out so immaturely.

"Don't interfere, Missy, this is our fun. You think I would allow it if I didn't want to? This is my wife being very attractive, and all this exercise keeps her in perfect shape unlike you layabouts." He laughs as his wife continues on regardless. No physical pain can come to him, he fails to block or dodge to stop any accidental injury to Chichi, this is a game for him that Goku has been playing for a long time. Gogeta is Saiyan, such a strong willed and passionate woman like this is exactly what he wants.

This is becoming awkward for the others. Chichi is still angry as Gogeta is not taking this punishment seriously and is getting wound up by this teasing and continual embarrassing of her. In a timid voice Mihoshi asks if the housewife would cease and desist before they have to involve themselves in this dispute. The hand of Chichi stops. That is a police officer's badge she can see being held up. Not commonly dealing with interstellar travel she does not question the legitimacy of their jurisdiction. Ayeka harrumphs quietly for Gogeta called her lazy and she was not misbehaving like Ryoko was, much as she wants to step in between the man and woman grappling on the ground.

Navy fabric flies upwards and Chichi loses a button this time from the bottom of her shirt. Her vision is blocked by her own shirt for a moment and she freezes. Ryoko stands covered in a red flame of ki over the semi-married couple. The shirt flutters slowly down over Chichi's exposed abdomen. A bark of a laugh is forced from Ryoko directed at this other woman's body she has revealed to the room.

Gogeta catches Chichi's fist millimetres away from Ryoko's throat and moves his body between the two. The pirate teleports backwards a metre, only just reacting, and hisses. He restrains his wife by hugging her and pinning her arms to her side. The pin holding her bun in place comes dangerously close to his eye as he prevents the destruction of Ryoko.

"Old, saggy and worn out! Why would you stare at that over me? I'm double her age and look half as old!" Ryoko roars at the pair and insults Chichi with an unbridled venom normally reserved for Ayeka. Her elfin ears are standing erect and her fangs are bared. She will not sit still whilst her fiancé flirts with a woman before her. She will not be cast aside.

This time the metal pin does make contact with Gogeta's eye. A harsher and more vicious red aura pulses off of Chichi. She knows what aspect of her is being mocked; the stretch marks on her stomach that came from two pregnancies. Gogeta uses his chest to muffle her as best he can, but this is not the woman he needs to put a muzzle on. He shoots a glare to the rogue.

"Ryoko, if you want to do this, fine. You want a reason? She's the mother of my children, and I love her dearly." Gogeta defeats Ryoko with as much difficulty as he did Buu. He will not play around when Ryoko has stepped so far out of line and insults his wife to such a large degree.

The Queen of Jurai seizes Ryoko's collar. Phasing frees Ryoko. The aura around her disappears. That hurt a lot. The gloves are truly off. Ryoko's face shows the pain of those words. Chichi's motions are lessening. She can sense that something is not quite right with this woman. Something similar to when she appeared at their house. Kiyone picks up the broken off button and believes she could fix this, if the other button could be found as well.

"I don't like you with her. I'm no-one's concubine! To hell with her, if you want someone who'll attack you if you touch them I can do that too. You haven't so much as looked at either me or Ayeka, is Vegeta that much weaker that his fusion is just a twat Kaka- Twatarot!" She will not quit. Ryoko covers her face. He used maternity against her. She cannot sense Vegeta's energy. It hurts and she is confused. "You said you'd never marry me if I went in the training room and you carried her in, and how can you smile like that with her and not with me. I want my Vegey back. I don't wanna always lose to some wife. It's-it's-"

"Ryoko, would you like to accompany me for a short walk?" Ayeka stands up, walks over next to her mother and Ryoko and offers her hand. She empathises with her rival's viewpoint. Her day did not start off on a good foot and it has not improved.

The offer is taken. Ryoko clumsily nods, holds Ayeka's hand and lets herself be escorted outside of the house. A short circuit around the lake at a slow amble should be sufficient to let Ryoko cool off and calm herself. The pirate fears another attack will seize her. She fears that she will not have a Vegeta there to comfort her as she will be forsaken in lieu of another woman. Opening up to Ayeka is not a hard task for her. The princess makes a joke at Ryoko's expense, comparing the scar Ryoko's back to the marks on Chichi's belly – imperfections she is without. Ryoko taunts back that Ayeka is jealous that she has not had her breasts hungrily looked at by either Vegeta or Gogeta. This pseudo hostile atmosphere helps them.

He slips off his Metamoran vest, slides it onto his wife as he releases her, tightly fastens it and deftly removes her shirt from underneath and hands it to the policewoman with the unattached button. Chichi's hands go to modestly cover herself before she sees that this vest has been carefully done up so that nothing shows but her arms. She sees what he has done and sits down without Gogeta beneath her. A half naked man of perfect muscle asks Kiyone if she has a needle and thread. The cop replies with a question of why she would need manual implements and uses her translucent cube device to spawn a machine meant to repair damaged uniforms. Gogeta's form flickers and he returns holding two halves of a cleanly snapped button. Looking over at his wife he shows it to her and asks whether they should fix the top or the bottom. Chichi promptly tells him top with a hint of a growl. Mihoshi and Misaki seat themselves as well whilst Kiyone sets the small machine to affix the button. A half fixed shirt is handed to Chichi from a distance, Kiyone wary of the volatile anger, and the housewife looks for a suitable place to change as Gogeta will not be doing this. Misaki stands and says that she would like to also change to get out of her training gear and takes Chichi upstairs with her.

Two policewomen awkwardly sit with Gogeta stood topless. Kiyone peers out the large window to check Ayeka is safe with an unstable Ryoko. Gogeta warns Mihoshi that upon her return Ryoko might seek the alcohol she has hidden away and to not let her bully her into submission, Mihoshi nods. A couple of minutes pass and Gogeta is busy eavesdropping with his enhanced hearing whilst Kiyone and Mihoshi wonder what is taking so long.

From her lair beneath the stairs Washu emerges and waves at Gogeta in a friendly manner before asking if she can get some data about him. He tells her it would be better if he were left as an enigma before his greatness stupefies her and ruins her pride as the number one genius in the galaxy. She holds up a needle. Gogeta eyes the hypodermic point and questions whether she has a valid license to practise medicine on this planet. Kiyone gets on board this legal train and probes. With several layers of diplomatic immunity and plenty of friends in the highest of places the scientist feels no noose tightening at these questions. She will give them the flimsiest of excuses to be done with this interrogation.

"The faculty that gave me the many certifications, doctorates and degrees I worked for no longer exists. I hold the only copies and records. So, who's to say? If you're not willing then I would like a word with Chichi. So far Yamcha is the only human I have done experiments on, gathering info on the female homo-sapiens is quite necessary for my data-banks."

"Wow, Washu, why didn't you say sooner? You can be a reference for Gohan and help his career take off on an intergalactic scale, a lecturer at the most prestigious university even?" Gogeta raises his voice in false astonishment. Since Washu wants to see Chichi that is who she will get. It is about time his wife came downstairs so this should hurry her up.

A head peeks over the banister before Chichi comes down the stairs back in her navy shirt and with her hair neatly fixed back in place. The Saiyan was not the only one listening in on conversations. He welcomes his wife back and she looks from him to Washu with an eagerness in her eyes. Washu has been cornered and the confident smirk on Gogeta's face rubs salt in the wounds. Chichi kindly greets Washu as Mihoshi questions her partner about what is going on. A shiny and gleaming piece of golden paper materialises between Washu's fingers at the click of her other hand. With a beaming, yet slightly forced smile, Washu hands the paper over and cordially invites Chichi and her family to her and Yamcha's wedding. This acts as a distraction for the time being. Washu sends a signal through her network calling for Yamcha.

Chichi graciously accepts this and congratulates Washu. The former desert bandit is one of her oldest friends, having known him technically for a few minutes longer than her own husband, and he helped out more than anyone else during Goku's passing, she wishes them all the best. She then sees the date on the invitation. Less than three weeks remain. Currently she is wearing her best attire, bare feet and all, and she will have nothing for this wedding and neither will her family without going dangerously over-budget or leeching off of Mr. Satan. She questions why it is happening so lightning fast, with Misaki bouncing happily down the stairs now that a happy conversation is happening and her skin no longer looks grey. The scientist knows better and so hands a physical invitation to the Queen of Jurai as well before she gives a brief explanation concerning Kain and her having run out of patience at 20,000 years old and not wanting to wait. Misaki believes this to be the right course of action.

"You know, Missy, on this planet in some cultures – one Yamcha uses – they appoint certain individuals to a very high and honourable role when expecting children. Since he promised me my babies I might as well get it done now. -"

"Godparents? This because he's Trunks'? Lame." He does not make himself too popular with this blasé comment. Gogeta sees that Washu is trying to wheedle her way out of a discussion with Chichi by moving the topic along. Washu sighs at him spoiling the surprise whilst the fusion asks his wife where his top he lent her is. He vanishes upstairs and back down to get his Metamoran garb that Chichi forgot when he lured her down.

"Misaki … ignoring him, would you do me the honour of being my children's godmother?" Washu asks her best friend with a large smile, not caring for how premature she is. There is no person in the galaxy she knows more suited to this than Misaki.

"Sure! What is it?"

Washu's hands are seized as Misaki jumps for joy. This is something concerning children and her friend's wonderful future and so without hesitation she will do this for her. She has it explained to her in brief the role of a godparent. Misaki hears that there will be another child that gets to call her a name involving mother and that is all she needs to be excited at this. The Saiyan cannot help but smile at seeing Chichi happily interact with these women as Misaki asks her about her own godparents: Chichi never set any for her own children since it is not a custom she follows. He hears his own pulse. Each beat brings him closer to the end of his short existence. This is not his place to selfishly interrupt his wife so he peers outside to see how much of a walk the fiancés of Vegeta have left.

At the same time Goten, Trunks and Sasami leave the training room as Yamcha exits the laboratory. The children go to their mothers, and Trunks wanders over to Gogeta. Yamcha is not too impressed that Washu went ahead and invited some of his guests without him being there and annoyingly ruffles her hair as he joins in telling Chichi and Misaki about their plans so far. A light punch is thrown and a kneeling Gogeta catches it. The lavender haired kid smirks and says that he will get stronger than this fusion. Gogeta grins and tells him it took his counterparts until they were in their 30's to have the strength of a Super Saiyan 2 so he has the potential to maybe go so far as to seize the current strength of this fusion. Kind words coming from his dual father's voice is weird for Trunks. The son of Vegeta looks out to the two chatting about the lake and asks if Gogeta has a preference to be voiced in this decision.

"Not with Chichi in earshot I don't. Though-" He begins chuckling to himself as a very amusing thought has entered his head. An image that tickles him immensely is not shifting itself. "- though if it were the outfit my sweet Chichi was wearing back in those days. Ha. … Y'know I love Bulma too, don't you?"

She thinks she hears her name being mentioned but Chichi does not intervene seeing Gogeta with Trunks, that is his other family and not hers. Goten has apologised to his mother for not doing his homework properly and Washu pauses. She was the scientist who bestowed all necessary information into this kid, there is no need for him to be doing any scholar activities unless self motivated. Washu questions Chichi why she had Goten studying and if she did not have faith in her invention. The human mother responds that she is setting a good work ethic in Goten, another thing that school does besides provide information. Washu chides that a training regime could also do the same and teach discipline. Chichi asks how just getting better at fighting and not studying for a proper job is going to help her son when he grows up. The Queen Misaki smiles as that in a short summary was her childhood and she is now at the head of an intergalactic empire, the housewife hears that point and lets it drop.

A few playful punches are exchanged between fused father and Trunks. Holding onto the sleeve of her tall mother, Sasami takes on the role of host and asks if anyone would like a snack or a drink. Mihoshi heads off to help Sasami to set up some refreshments.

"Wow, having such a sweet and helpful daughter like that must be something. I wish I had a little Sasami of my own to help around the house." Chichi compliments Misaki on how well mannered and behaved Sasami is, she has been raised well.

"Why don't you?"

With that the greatest power known in the universe is felled. Gogeta keels over clutching at his chest as his heart had momentarily stopped. The extremely dangerous words of Misaki have struck again. Wheezing as he catches his breath, Gogeta's body trembles and he sees he has drawn a glance from Ryoko and Ayeka in the distance. Turning his head around he sees just like him his wife has frozen in spot. Rosiness burns on both Saiyan and human cheeks. A nervous laugh comes from Chichi as she tries to laugh it off as a joke but the curious eyes of Misaki show she was being serious. The knees of Chichi are feeling weak.

"Mommy, am I getting a sister?" The words of a second innocent cause as much damage as the first as Goten asks his mother for clarification. Being a big brother to someone like Gohan was to him sounds fun.

Redness consumes Chichi's face as she is put on the spot.

"And don't you think of using age as an excuse when I'm 20,000 and soon to be expecting. I'm doing my bit to repopulate a near extinct race, will you do the same?" Emerald eyes glimmer as Washu has fun trapping Chichi, this is a fun game she will join Misaki in.

Two 6 foot tall women loom over Chichi expecting an answer as Goten pulls on his mother's skirt as she has not answered him either. Washu smirks towards Gogeta as she likes how the tables have turned now. This is a challenge set to him. His Saiyan blood begins to heat up. He knows he is not the father in question yet all the same he has a responsibility in this, Gogeta shall save his floundering wife. Confidently strutting up he tackles this head on as he stands by his wife.

"Big boy Goten here could go Super Saiyan at 7. That was from Goku's power well before the Cell Games. I, nor Goku, would be willing to endanger my wife with a child carrying his current strength. I lost Bulma, I shall not risk her." In a caring manner he rests a hand on Chichi and vows to protect her and save her from this talk with some logic of his own. The hereditary strength of Saiyans could prove too much for even his super strong wife.

Washu will concede this one for now. Seeds have been planted anyhow and it will be interesting for her to observe what follows. She looks over to Yamcha and raises an eyebrow in query. He sees the question about his own power and the only example he can think of is Krillin's daughter and so far Marron has not showcased any feats of power and so half shrugs and half shakes his head. Washu will investigate, data from Chichi and her children would help to see if Chichi's phenomenal strength has also been passed on to the Saiyan hybrids. Goten and Misaki both look disappointed by this news and Chichi has to reassure her son that his strength did not hurt her at all as he is too young to follow the example given properly. The Queen looks over at Gogeta and he meets her calculating look and reads the words silently emanating from her.

Having just wielded maternity against Ryoko and hearing both princess and pirate re-entering the house, on top of Chichi being next to him, Gogeta will not speak the answer that Misaki is querying him on. His play for safety only saved his wife and not himself. By simple deduction the doting Queen heard her greatly diminishing chances to have biological grandchildren through Vegeta: if the far stronger Chichi would be in danger of more Saiyan offspring then so would her own precious daughter. A laugh comes from the rivalled pair. Gogeta sends a telepathic message to Misaki to drop that thought and question Vegeta on it during the shopping trip if she must. The queen subtly nods to the silent communication.

Refreshments are served. Mihoshi carries the most as the adult but for a lacking skill in comparison to Sasami she did not make the snacks. As she offers a tray to Washu she flinches as she gets playfully flicked on the forehead. She pouts and says ouch.

"You, you're getting to be my bridesmaid, OK?" Washu grins at the blonde and wolfs down a few canapés.

A shocked Mihoshi jolts the tray and fumbles, nearly spilling the food everywhere. Yamcha's hand steadies her and explains that it is the least they could do after she helped to save Washu's life. Washu's grin gets bigger as Mihoshi smiles and nods. Then the former bandit adds that his soon to be missus also has no other friends to ask and gets a swift elbow to the gut. Mihoshi thanks the genius for this opportunity and goes to gloat to her partner that she gets to be a bridesmaid. Kiyone is thinking of the nightmare of security detail for a wedding containing Juraian royalty, Saiyans and a Tuffle scientist who has already had an assassination attempt made against her.

Ryoko walks up to Chichi and sheepishly apologises for her rude behaviour and breaking her shirt. The wife of Goku accepts it as she could tell the stress within Ryoko was similar to that of when she raved at her husband to teach her to read minds. At the mention of Chichi's clothing Washu interjects and offers that her clothing has the ability to shrink in size and alter with her changing of her age and so she can lend her a pair of shoes in the meantime. Yamcha goes and fetches a pair as Chichi has no choice but to accept with her current pair laying in tatters by the chairs.

The time passes as Misaki, Ayeka and Sasami enlighten Chichi on the planet she will be visiting for the tournament and bring up a few more details for the arrangements for it. Gogeta spies an excitement in his wife, a childish wonder at her first time going off to a foreign and alien planet. He also sees the distance Ryoko is putting between herself and talk of Jurai. He asks the right questions at the right time to direct the topic to make it sound all the more appealing for his wife and to avoid any points that might rile the sensitive Ryoko. Instant Transmission is the solution he gives for fetching Gohan and the Ox King for her birthday as sensing Gohan and Piccolo's ki should not be too difficult and for the journey to Jurai he has Vegeta's energy to sense. This cheers Chichi up about the mess of her birthday. It makes her feel uneasy imposing on royalty for board and lodge during the tournament, however being hailed and welcomed, being treated as honoured guests for the destruction of Frieza, makes this the least Misaki can offer for the peace brought to her empire. Gogeta shrugs and points behind him at Trunks and says he is mostly the one who killed Frieza. Misaki shrugs off time travel and continues to ramble on about her home and the palaces.

Loud and clear an apology is given to all in the room. Gogeta looks at both Trunks and Goten and warns them to never attempt what he is about to do. Eyes of a wolf fixate on the fawn that is Chichi. A more personal apology is given to her. His time is short. The last few grains of sand are dropping in his hourglass. Consequences do not exist for him. With extreme care he uses his strength.

He places a hand on her back and sweeps her across before him, his hand riding high between her shoulders. There is alarm on her face. In one perfect motion he bends her over, takes the metal pin in her hair out and leans over her. Gogeta will not disappear with any regrets.

Light emits from all over Gogeta's body as his face meets Chichi's. One becomes two. With a grunt and a snarl Vegeta flicks the hairpin he is holding on the floor, he rises from the awkward stance he is in, his brow furrows with anger and the Saiyan prince starts cracking his knuckles through his gloves. Husband and wife remain in the position that Gogeta left them. Both Goku and Chichi are wide eyed in shock with red tinting their faces. Off pure battle instinct Goku's hand not holding Chichi raises to block an incoming attack. Chichi makes no move to strike him. The two disengage and awkwardly stand there. Stalking to the far side of the room and away from his rival the Saiyan prince glowers in rage at what he went through and submitted himself to. Ryoko floats her way near him and welcomes him back.
