Chapter 94

Early morning training for both Saiyan warriors in their respective gravity training rooms is interrupted. A video is projected onto one of the curved walls. Goku is not aware that the training room was capable of this. Both Vegeta and Goku stop as Washu's face appears on screen. Explaining her reasoning of wanting these Saiyans to be at their strongest to take down Kagato whenever he surfaces she shall give them a small nudge in their pursuit of power. The video call then becomes a simultaneous video feed of the opposing training room. Both Vegeta and Goku look bemused at the other. Now they have to train in plain sight of the other. No button on the console shall deactivate this except for powering down the entire room. Competition boils in their blood.

They want to keep their individual techniques and fighting abilities close to their chest so as to not give away their hand before the tournament, however now a simple thing as a warm-up exercise becomes a heated battle. Any exercise they see the other doing they have to outcompete. Any punch they have to throw 10 more times, any weight they have to lift a heavier one, any ki attack they have to charge faster. The blood feud of the last Saiyans rages. Whatever physical pain and fatigue meant to them previously is erased. Neither can back down in sight of the other. Neither can surrender. They push beyond their intended exercise, with Vegeta's fury pushing boundlessly against the chasm of power between the two.

This lasts until the interruptions begin. Vegeta is in a wilderness, alone, solitary. Goku is likewise in a wilderness atop a mountain yet that is his home. Piccolo exists, as does his youngest son Goten. Distractions interfere. The strongest living fighter cannot mirror and best Vegeta's efforts with these others training alongside him. Gravity he and Vegeta can endure is devastating to either Namek or hybrid-human. Vegeta pulls ahead, although even with Goten hindering his father he does cheer on his efforts taking pride in his dad's strength. Piccolo attempts to compete though his limit of strength ends at the first state of Super Saiyan. The three at Mount Paozu then break off and do the unthinkable for Vegeta. They take a break, they have a short rest for snacks, drinks and to recuperate. He toils on.

Vegeta is not without his own interruptions. What should be lunch time sees his first visitor arrive unannounced. A floating woman hovers around outside his training room, knocking on every wall incessantly before levitating at the door. Ryoko has come for her daily time with him. Vegeta glances at the screen to ensure there are no prying eyes from the opposing room as he staggers to open the bulkhead. Screaming muscles and a rumbling stomach are excuses he can use for this unwanted distraction. He hears her impatiently humming to herself as he opens the door.

"Vegey! I got a gift just for you." A cheerful voice calls out as soon as the door opens and a smiling Ryoko thrusts a small mechanical device into his hands. She wears a pair of his jeans, a white top he is sure is Kiyone's and has tied one of Mihoshi's ribbons in her hair.

He looks down at the machine uncertain of what it is. There is one button on it, 4 symmetrically positioned legs about a tennis ball sized core and no obvious use for it. Inspecting it he sees a caricature identifying this as being Washu's handiwork.

"You stole some machine from Washu?" He is perplexed and unimpressed by whatever this is Ryoko is giving to him.

"No. Gift. I didn't steal this. I bought it. My own money. I bought this for you, from Washu. Y'see when I was with Kaia most of yesterday Washu said a small thing that made me think, something about her blood pressure, and so 'cos I'm a lovely and caring person I got this for you. It's some miniature and weak version of your gravity room with only one setting for 10G. So you use it when you go to sleep because you're a Saiyan and I'm the only one smart enough or who loves you enough to think 'bout your health and how you ain't supposed to be on a planet with weak gravity like this. Now praise me."

Ryoko merrily bounces on her feet as she lands and grins at her ingenuity and thought on the welfare of Vegeta. She has solved a problem for him about being on this alien world without anything being said. She has helped him, made him more comfortable, made him healthier and maybe able to train better. Ryoko smiles and awaits compliments for her kindness. The Saiyan looks down at the device and tosses it across to the other hand and catches it. This device is definitely a worthwhile investment for him. He nods in appreciation. Gravity even when sleeping should save him a couple of minutes training a day.

"That … is actually quite thoughtful that as a Saiyan it is uncomfortable for my body to be in this unnaturally weak gravity of Earth. What money did you buy this with?" Vegeta has given Ryoko money on occasion and seen her pilfer some on his date with her when he paid the bill. The act is kind but he wants to know if this is something bought with his own money.

"A commission from Gohan for getting him his job, some bits I keep in Ryo-Ohki's hold and y'know the odd spare change here and there. I'm broke now, all my money spent on you. That ain't important. I bought it for you, and I don't usually buy gifts. Now whenever you go to sleep you can think of me." She twirls about singing the praise of her deed and awaiting for Vegeta to do the same and flatter her with his forked tongue.

"This device will also mean you will be the only woman strong enough to get into the field around my bed."

"Yeah, try and touch me and let's see how much worth that idea holds – at the moment. This is about caring for you, extra benefits to me are just a bonus – that is if I want to sleep with you in a high gravity I don't like."

That fact is an afterthought to her. Sex with Vegeta or sleeping with him is not on the table when those night terrors still haunt her. The device is for Vegeta's health, it will not be comfortable or pleasant for her to be under. He lets his tail take hold of the device so his hands are free. Vegeta crosses his arms as he scans the world with his ki sense.

"Any sign of when my son will arrive for training?"

"You did notice that I wasn't here during the night, right? Your son's got a bit of catching up on his sleep. So it's just you and me, light of my life." He tries to change the topic and she brings it back to herself, more praise can be sung of her since she did not distract or annoy him at all in the darkness she hates. Smug with her pun, she grins and teleports into the training room behind him.

"How much did you sleep, and how long did you spend with Kaia or whoever before retreating to bed? Come on, speak. There is a lot on your mind. So, I returned Ayeka … and now? The consequences?"

His back stays facing her as he closes the bulkhead door. The cunning Saiyan knows precisely why Ryoko is here, and it is not out of her habit of liking to teleport to him when she should not. There is clean-up to do. Questions to answer. She is not here just to give him a little invention. She is not here for the joy of his company. Her eyes narrow on him. There is no foreplay to this conversation, he has cut to the chase. Ryoko bares her teeth. If he wants her to get it off her chest he better be prepared for an earful.

"You left a damn big hole in the house. There's a gaping big hole where your training room's supposed to be." Ryoko starts off small and growls in displeasure at the draught that makes her cold in her usual napping spot.

"I can redecorate my house how I please. That hole is there, or Kaia dies from my training."

Without his training room his house does have a section missing. He originally removed it when placing the training room there, a part not meant as part of the house. Since the bulkhead door is on his training room there is no door blocking the missing part of his house. It is not an issue he has the want to solve, anyone can easily board it up or block it for the few days it will be a nuisance. Vegeta turns and faces Ryoko.

"It didn't work either. I copied exactly what you did to make Kiyone weird and Kaia still doesn't know brightness and won't put her gloves on. Now I'm looking out for her but she doesn't like that so I look after her same way you kinda look after people and I did see blood but Washu says that's all fine. Maybe a day or two until her next operation as well but she's got in a right bad mood and been arguing with Ayeka. I know how good it can feel to beat on princess, and Kaia and me don't want you doing the same."

A rant escapes as the stresses of an actual responsibility to someone not herself irk Ryoko. She has to care for a frail blind woman who holds her own independence in high regard and is using Vegeta's lackadaisical parenting as the only solution. Ryoko's hackles raise and Vegeta listens on the last sentence. Kaia is not his concern nor is her health a problem he can or will do anything about. Vegeta knows this visit is about Ayeka. It has always been about Ayeka. They went on a date yesterday and he gifted her a ring, it could not be concerning anything else. Vegeta nods in agreement.

"I have given Ayeka these few days to reconsider, I also do not see it as a smart choice on her part. Why would you not want to see the mess my training will make of her? You can float about taunting her all day if you want." He agrees with Ryoko that Ayeka's choice of activity for her date is one he advises against. Vegeta does not see much coming out of a date where he shall hit her.

Ryoko marches closer to Vegeta, taking his agreement as a good sign. She then stops a foot away. Her hand reaches up and hangs there in the gap she cannot cross. Ryoko snarls and shakes her head. Vegeta is not declining this want of Ayeka, reluctance is not good enough for her. Ryoko feels cornered. Her faux tail reaches out to Vegeta's. She touches him the only way she can. This mental barrier she hates.

" … I just don't want her having another fucking date with you..." Her head hangs. Ryoko moans out her complaint, her reason.

A flare of red emerges around her. Energy grows. Ryoko forces herself to take the last final step. She hates the gap that is widening between her and Vegeta, the gap that Ayeka is squeezing herself into. Ryoko is not weak, nor will she admit to being broken. She wants her strength and her identity back. This is a task she can manage. She needs him to see her, to know her, to acknowledge all of her. Ryoko is not letting his sight be only on some royal with a ring. Vegeta watches her show of energy and keeps an eye on her wildly growing ki.

Ryoko butts her head against Vegeta and pushes against it.

There is a quick recoil from the pirate and then she firmly stomps her foot back down and rams her head against his again with a growl. Strain enters her neck and shoulders as she pushes and forces against the widow's peak of the Saiyan. Red burns around her. A grimace is on her face.

Warmth not from the flames around her exudes into her head. Through her golden eyes she sees equally golden hair and blue eyes meeting her. There is the light that has been missing from her nights. His piercing eyes accept her efforts and he pushes against her by an equal amount. Her cyan brows frown. This is uncomfortable for her. The skin on the back of her neck crawls. Feline eyes glare at him. Yet, it is hard to see red from the blue before her.

"If you think her idea was bad, then watch out 'cos I'll do one better."

The technique they developed together is used between them. Ryoko opens the doorway into her mind and penetrates into Vegeta with herself. Her fears, her dreams and her emotions laid bare as her body trembles at the slight touch of her attempted rapist.

"... So on Namek he got revived into the same body, but with Buu it was a new body, and the last monster was a new body too. … Kiyone, do we charge crimes against a body or a soul? The definitions of 'person' here isn't clear. Can we even prove it's the same soul? Genetically it could be a clone since it's a new body... Help. I don't know what we're doing." Mihoshi whines as the gargantuan task of cataloguing Vegeta's criminal history continues. She lounges back and shakes her head side to side in not wanting to do this tedious work.

"At least in Juraian law the 'Blessings of Tsunami' make it clear to you regarding Vegeta's resurrections." Ayeka bristles. This work of the police is aggravating her. Listing all of her fiancée's dark past behind her back, she does not like it. She rubs the white ring on her finger. She stands in the room near to the kitchen, not getting close to the list, with a scowl on her face and her vandalised diary in her hand. The crimes Ryoko scrawled have angered her, and that idea came from these two and the orders of her father.

"That's a religious law concerning sinners. We deal in the actual, legal law. The Juraian Empire accepts the legislation as is set out by the Galaxy Police." Kiyone dismisses what Ayeka is talking about as she continues to flick through the list of species on a planet Vegeta destroyed.

"Be that as it may his soul has been judged by the wish granting dragon Shenron and been deemed 'good', a dragon of Namekian origin, not Jurai."

"So far mystical wish granting dragons are not legal entities of their own. Mihoshi, have you found anything governing the laws on New Namek?" The teal haired cop takes the law seriously. Gods and dragons hold no place in a court of law. She looks across to her partner who just shrugs. Kiyone makes a mental note to ask her superiors about the Namekian colonisation / asylum seeking on New Namek and what jurisdiction they might be within. "Lady Ayeka, must you make our jobs that much harder?"

"I hold no intention to being an obstacle in your job, however your job is of a personal nature towards myself. I am not keen on my privacy being invaded by yourselves on top of Miss Washu with all my actions reported to my family."

"We are technically bodyguards for yourself so knowing your every move is our business. As bodyguards it does also make our job hard when you take a nose dive off the crazy board and want some nice pre-marital domestic abuse from Psycho."

That scathing remark from Kiyone is met by a harsh glare back from Ayeka. Sat down besides the cops with a cabbit in her lap being petted is Kaia. She smugly nods to herself that everyone agrees with her that her young friend is being quite silly indeed. For her friend she has helped persuade the police to not inform the royal family. Even if it is a bad idea she sees it equally as bad to have your love life be public information being constantly reported on, and she hopes Ayeka's mind can be changed.

"Officer Mihoshi, dear, you have been here for a little while longer than myself, and you have a gift that I do not, so could you describe to me what you have seen of Lord Vegeta's training regime? He has not been able to train in my presence properly so I would not know." Kaia slyly asks to the chagrin of her friend.

Mihoshi pauses and looks behind her at the furious princess. She then meekly says that Vegeta bullies and insults her and Kiyone when they try and exercise and sets impossible challenges for them thinking he is better than them as he is stronger. He hits his child, has hurt him and himself severely on many occasion, trains without stopping even without sleep, food or with a broken limb. It scares her. The noises, the anger, the sights and violence she sees him indulging in. He kills simulations in there with no qualm about the quasi-murder. Kaia nods to herself as she listens. This is not at all like how Misaki has trained her daughter in self defence, and she wants that point to be apparently clear to her deluded friend.

"Are you quite done trying to make a fool of me, Kaia? I know of the risks, I am aware of how Vegeta trains. Maybe your loyalty has been swayed, I hope you thoroughly washed and disinfected Ryoko's clothes before wearing them." Ayeka stubbornly argues back. This is her choice. How she dates is up to her. Everyone is trying to interfere. They are talking down on her like she is stupid, she knows and understands the dangers they point out.

The blind friend fakes a coy blush and puts her face in her hands. She is wearing clothes from Ryoko. Her lack of luggage on this visit to Earth has left her using what charity is going around. She and Ryoko are of a close enough size that she can wear her clothes without issue. A high collared blue dress with baggy shoulders and a front split at the knees that then curls back in at her feet, an overly long pink waistcoat that has a plunging neckline and connects where an obi like black belt wraps about her waist. These are not Juraian clothes however they feel close enough and beggars cannot be choosers in her situation. Kaia then states that this has nothing to do with her friendship with Ryoko, but her friendship with her. Ayeka is obstinate.

"In all these arguments of pain and injury and hurt you seem to forget that the man who owns the house we are all residing in goes through that daily. I have not heard any of you argue with him about his health and well-being of his obsessive training regime, unlike myself. Is the pain fine for him and not for me? I want to experience what a standard day for Vegeta is like. What he suffers through endlessly so that I can understand him, peek for a little bit into the life he leads. There is nothing wrong with that want! Why must you stand against me in this, Kaia?"

A curl of green hair is twirled about a long finger as Lady Seto lounges on a plush and high backed armchair. Her daughter sits cross legged scowling at her on the floor. For over a day now Misaki has been pouting and sulking. She was so excited when she got the call from Ayeka, and then she swiftly found out that she was the last to know. They spied and watched and got live footage of the occasion. Misaki has watched it but still she sulks and grumbles to herself as she watches over the Demon Princess of Jurai. With a small tablet in her hand Lady Seto wordlessly speaks as she attempts to learn the basics of a foreign language. She leans forward and pokes the cheeks of the Queen of Jurai and playfully tells her she will give her a full 3 days notice before the live viewing of Sasami's engagement comes around. The elder Juraian then teases and says that her daughter has not sulked like this since she warned her off of Yosho several decades ago. Misaki turns about and scowls deeper.

Seto knows that Kaia's use has run its primary course. She is there as a friend now with Vegeta passing that test and the environment not seeming hostile. No unusual action has been taken by Kagato in response to this surprise. She smirks to herself as she thinks on how her next plan should rattle the cage enough for him to show himself. Then she can destroy this threat to Jurai like she has done so with many others before. Next time she shall speak with this Prince Vegeta face to face. Seto keeps reading up on the Namekian language and learning its words.

A day passes and less than 12 hours remain of Vegeta's solitary training. Ryoko has left for the day as the sky here darkens and his son has not shown up today. He can sense the Super Saiyan 3 that he glares at on the screen. Both are haggard and exhausted. Neither able to let up an inch when training in sight of the other. This is safer than having them train together, but only just for they are reckless in their competition. Tired bags are under both brow-less eyes. Somehow Vegeta is the one getting the lion's share of sleep in comparison to his rival. They have talked. The prince throwing insults and taunts more so than holding a civil conversation but there has been dialogue nonetheless. He has learnt that Washu's actions have had a bizarre effect on Chichi's health and amplified her personality and mood swings. Goku barely gets a few hours sleep without her illness interrupting and unlike her he does not nap throughout the day to catch up. Vegeta has replied that nothing done to the people he lives with has altered their personality, though Washu has not performed any large change to his residents unlike halving the physical age of Chichi.

Through their talk Goku has come to learn of a saving grace. The text he got warning him is now null and void. A sensitive ki sensor called Kaia is still at Vegeta's house and sometimes in Washu's lab but she can now safely manage a low level Super Saiyan's amount of energy. It is possible for him to take Chichi to see the doctor for consultation and only put himself in peril from Chichi. His main issue now is convincing his wife that this is a sound idea when she is in a constant highly emotional state. Vegeta's drive to surpass Goku grows with every word spoken about Chichi.

Vegeta almost loses all track of time as he toils away well into the night long after Goku retires to go to sleep on his sofa for as long as he can. Even now with his rival out of sight he lets no weakness or exhaustion show. Washu has found the perfect motivation to get both of them to train until they drop. He does switch off the training room though. Throughout all his wants to continue he needs a drink. Outside his training room he jumps down into a deep well he dug for water and drinks. Leaping back out he stretches and wonders what time it is. Having a think on the time he finds that his time is out. A multi-form splits from Vegeta and collapses the training room into a capsule and pockets it. His main source of power stays where it is and begins to meditate in the Super Saiyan 3 state.

Two loud knocks sound out on a wooden door and awake a sleeping maiden with a start. She gets out of bed carrying her blanket with her and wrapping it around her for modesty as she cracks open the door to see who is waking her so early. The bulk of a Saiyan warrior stands in his home looking at her.

"Unless you say otherwise you have 2 minutes to get ready and enter the training room." Vegeta states but keeps his voice quieter than normal as waking Ryoko would be problematic.

Ayeka is startled at his sudden reappearance and waking her. This is the start of her second date. It is close to 5 in the morning and is is clear that Vegeta has not slept this night. She rubs at her eyes and nods, reaffirming that this is what she wants and that she has not changed her mind. Ayeka then questions about bathing. Vegeta slowly blinks and says that she has 2 and a half minutes to get down ready for training. He turns and leaves to change this multi-form into a fresh training outfit. Ayeka stands there, closes the door and a panic sets in. Luckily in her preparation she has already set out her Juraian combat attire on Sasami's bed. She quickly grabs it and rushes into the empty bathroom.

5 minutes later she knocks on the training room door, hair still damp and breathing quick from rushing about. She busies tying her long hair up and placing it into two cloth coverings to keep it out of the way. Ayeka knocks again. Her skin has taken on a grey hue from her combat attire, with two black slashes on either cheek. A pink long sleeved top and tight fitting trousers are worn with a black and brown lined thick vest over the top with prominent shoulder guards, about her waist is a light blue obi, a circlet of woven red leather is about her left arm, black knee length boots and black fingerless gloves complete her Juraian battle outfit. There is no response from within the training room. Her red eyes peer in and it is empty. She looks about behind her and can neither see nor hear any sign of her prince.

Carefully the princess turns the handle on the metal bulkhead. A large amount of strain enters her arms and legs as she struggles against the tremendous weight of the door in levering it open. With a heave she gets it ajar enough that her slim form can fit through. From the other side she then pulls it further as Vegeta cannot fit through the gap she made. As she pulls she watches as her date casually walks out of Washu's laboratory holding a few pieces of paper. Without effort he continues on in to the training room past Ayeka reading the paper. He reads for a few seconds more as she stands there.

"I know you are attached to the ring I gave you but remove it whilst training. It will break." Vegeta does not look up as he says this to the princess wearing her engagement ring.

Ayeka looks down at the pearl ring. She has not taken it off at all. This has been on her finger since he put it on a few days ago. With a bit of worry she questions where it would be safe to put it with Ryoko and her predisposition to thievery. Vegeta shakes his head and confidently claims that Ryoko will never dare to touch nor take her ring. Ayeka quickly excuses herself to go upstairs where she slowly removes her ring and hides it under her pillow. Back in the training room Vegeta scratches his head and places the paper down on the training room console. The princess peers across at it and approaches to see it better. She then frowns and blushes. That is an illustrated diagram of female Juraian anatomy.

"Right, I think I see how your musculature and physique work and differ from my superior Saiyan self. You can explain why you were late as you close the training room door." He can see several different muscle groups, tendon attachments and bone joints that enable Ayeka to have a slightly different range of motion than himself. This order he barks out and she seems quite confused though follows it.

The struggle to close the door she could not really open is there and it tires her to heft a tonne of metal. She explains that she is not accustomed to a rushed bath and that dressing in this outfit takes longer than the two minutes give. All Vegeta says is that due to this she has 3 minutes less time training. For him that is a punishment, and for her it also means 3 minutes cut off from her date. With the door closed she catches her breath and stands before him, she bows her head to him out of respect as she assumes him to be taking a tutor role here in training her. He simply asks her if she truly wants her to train him as he trains himself. She nods and states her want of understanding him and the hardships he goes through.

"This is on your head. You leave this room only when I do, for food or a bathroom break, you stop moving when dead not when you are feeling tired. Your training ends once I have doubled your power." The prince stretches his arms.

Ayeka is alarmed at him wanting her to double her power level in one day of training. She copies how he stretches and how her mother does when she taught her. A fist hits into her gut and floors her. Vegeta stands over her as she doubles up in pain. He unclenches his fist and crosses his arms. She reaches a hand up to him and he kicks it away.

"You lack any survival instincts. No guard. No preparation. No attempt to defend. No movement to save your fall. And once again you fail to fly when falling." Vegeta mercilessly looks down on her. The training has begun.

She gasps and winces as she struggles back to her feet. There is fear in her red eyes now as she looks at the cold hearted Saiyan Prince. He has hit her. He struck her with force. A bit of sparring she thought would occur but to be hit by a sucker punch was not something she anticipated. There was no warm up. Vegeta has hit her. He clenches the same fist and watches as she takes a wary step back.

" … For all your claimed intelligence you are quite the fool. When Ryoko entered into her hell with me where I beat her she ensured she could teleport away to safety. But you, you are the fool who closed your only exit after willingly walking into your own hell with me. One you cannot open. I have given you your chances now." A dark expression passes over the sadist as he makes Ayeka acutely aware of her situation. He declares his sparring intentions with her. "Your challenge for breakfast is to stay standing for more than 10 seconds."

Blue erupts into the air as a sphere of cerulean protects the maiden. A fist cracks against it. Ayeka hurries into a defensive stance. Vegeta drops into the floor, phasing through the ground, and he rises up within her shield. She does not cast the shield under her and he shall exploit that weakness. During her fight with Ryoko she was prone to attacks from beneath and she will have to learn to overcome this weakness. The shield begins to dispel as Ayeka raises her arms in defence. All Vegeta does to overcome her timid stance is shoulder barge into her and she goes sprawling. Her hand again is raised to be lifted to her feet by him. A cold stare is all she gets.

"You said train like me. In what part of your deluded mind do you think there was ever a hand reaching down to help me? You have no aid here, except what small mercy I have going easy on you like I am. Stand. Again."

"Vegeta, can we not do exercises like you do most of the time until I am warmed up to spar?" On the ground Ayeka tries to worm out of the mess she has landed herself in.

"This is the warm up. You are not ready for my kind of exercises yet. Until I am satisfied with your ki control then I shall not turn the gravity on to a weak setting."

"What does attacking me have to do with ki control?"

"Everything." He ominously states as the same fist readies itself to swing the same punch.

Ayeka has no hope of arguing. She stands, keeping low with a hunched and defensive posture of fear. Her eyes glance about the room. She has little room to manoeuvre behind her. Before he throws his fist she summons her Juraian guardian logs in a pincer shape before her and around her foe. Bolts zap out between them. Instead of throwing a punch Vegeta opens his fist and with an open palm calmly blasts at the logs. Through the smoke he sees a blue shield emerge again. This time with its bottom sealed. The Saiyan strides through the dissipating smog. He bends down and then lifts up the shield, its energy crackling against his hands, and then he simply shakes it until Ayeka falls over within her protective bubble. Vegeta sets it down and readies the same fist until she can protect herself from this one attack.

This time she summons the shield around him and contains his punch. Vegeta casually raises two fingers to his forehead and Instant Transmissions out from the shield and behind Ayeka. He stomps at the back of her knee and chops down on her collar to commit her to the ground once again. She gets herself to a sitting position and complains that it is unfair to expect her to do so well against an opponent with so many techniques and skills. The Saiyan simply states that war is never fair and that there is nothing stopping her from learning them. He clenches his fist again. Ayeka stays sat down looking at that fist and thinking how she can remain stood up against Vegeta for the 10 stated seconds. A growl comes her way and Vegeta roughly picks her up onto her feet again before the fist hits into her diaphragm and knocks the breath out of her.

"You stop moving when training is over. Get up. Again."

"Please, Vegeta, this training is harsh. I do not understand how I learn ki control through you assaulting me."

"Your power level is equal to mine when I was born. I am training you in the manner I was at that same strength. This multi-form has the same power level as you currently do, I hold no advantage in that regard. Learn through the battle. I will not teach you. You learn, or you get hit. Again."

Ayeka manages to get to her feet. The fist clenches. She readies herself to go to block his straight fist that is always aiming for her gut. Muscular arms reach around from behind her and grab her. Another multi-form of Vegeta is behind her. Ayeka fails to block the punch. So far her record for standing is a measly 3 seconds. Vegeta will have her learn basic ki control and ki sensing the same way he did: by being given no alternate except death.
