Rear-view Town

Chapter 4

Paul pulled up to the two-story home with faded red shutters. It wasn't immaculate and for a split second, he compared it to the house that he grew up in. It was considerably smaller with only two bedrooms, and compared to the house he was currently looking at, it could be a shed in the back yard.

He took in a deep breath and spoke to his steering wheel. "Here goes."

He knocked on the door and took two steps back. His stomach was in knots from his nervousness especially when a beautiful Native American lady opened the door. "Can I help you?"

Paul stuffed his hands in his pockets and just as he was about to speak, he heard someone behind the lady. "Paul?"

Cora moved aside as she cleared her thoughts about Paul looking just like a younger version of her husband when Billy came rolling up behind her. "Yes, sir," Paul replied with half a smile.

Billy rolled through the door and looked up at Paul's towering figure. Paul could see tears in Billy's eyes. "I can't believe it's you. I thought I'd never see you again."

Paul looked down at his feet. "I'm sorry it took so long for me to get here."

Billy reached out to shake his hand and when Paul did the same, Billy pulled him down to his level and wrapped his arms around him. Billy sobbed into his chest. "I'm the one that's sorry. I never gave up hope that you're mom would come back."

Paul stood up and stuck his hands back into his pockets. "I didn't know about you until recently." Then he looked over to Billy's wife. "You must be Cora."

Cora smiled. "The one and only," she replied. "How is my sister?"

Paul was taken aback by her question. He had no words as he looked at his aunt. She definitely resembled his mother; just taller. "I didn't know my mom had a sister, either." Paul was crying, now. "Mom died a few months ago. She had brain cancer."

Cora's hands moved to cover her mouth. "I'm so sorry." Then in a very surprised move, she wrapped her arms around Paul. "I swear we looked for you for many years."

Paul released his hold on his aunt or was she his step mother? Either way, it all sounded too weird to Paul.

"Let's all go inside before the rain hits," Billy suggested. "Have you eaten? We can get you something."

"No thank you," Paul replied. "I ate before I came."

They made their way into the living room where Paul took a seat on their love seat. "I guess we have a lot to talk about."

"We do," Billy agreed. "But, we don't need to hash it all out today." He rolled over closest to where Paul was sitting. He still couldn't believe his first born son was finally in his home. "Are you staying nearby or in a hurry to be anywhere?"

"I have a hotel room in Port Angeles, and I'm not in a hurry unless..." Paul wasn't sure how to tell Billy and Cora that Bella was his imprint. "I have a friend that may need my help."

"Okay. I guess what I really meant to ask was, are you just here for a visit?" Billy was hoping his son was staying permanently.

Paul shook his head. "No. I planned to stay depending on whether or not you accept me." He adjusted himself in his seat. "Um...well, I imprinted yesterday."

Cora gasped. "You phase?"

"Yes, since I was 16. I'm still learning after nearly three years." Billy reached over and took his hand. "I was hoping you could help me out with that."

"I'll definitely tell you everything you need to know." Billy squeezed his hand. "You said you imprinted?"

Paul smiled. "Yeah. I wasn't completely sure what had happened, but she already knew all about imprinting."

"Really?!" Billy and Cora asked in unison. "I wonder if we know her." Cora asked Billy.

"Um...yeah, actually you do. You know her really well." Paul admitted. "Her name's Bella."

Paul watched as Billy and Cora looked at each other. "Bella Swan?" Billy asked with confusion.

"Unless there's more than one that lives in Forks, then yes."

"Sweetheart, Bella's due to be married in..."

Paul interrupted Cora's sentence. "She told me, and if she wasn't already thinking about calling off the wedding, then she wouldn't have been in Port Angeles. We were staying at the same hotel. She's been having second thoughts for a little while, now."

"Thank God," Billy said. "Dr. Cullen and his wife are tolerable, but the rest can go." Billy shook his head. "One of them helped your mom leave LaPush."

Paul took a deep breath. "Was it the one that Bella was going to marry?"

"I don't know. I told Charlie to never tell me, and I don't have a clue how he found out. We never had the money to hire a private investigator. There was only so much I could do after I ended up in this thing." He patted the arm of his wheelchair.

Paul shook his head. "There's no reason to dwell on the past. There isn't anyone to blame except my mother. I don't know the Cullens, and I prefer not to."

They continued to talk about the wolf pack. Billy explained how Sam was currently the pack alpha and was positive that they would all accept him.

Then the conversation steered to Bella. She was a subject that Paul could talk about all day if he tried. He hadn't even known her 24 hours, and he felt like he finally got that missing part of himself he'd been looking for in the last few years.

Paul shared with them about the first time he phased and how his mother helped him clean up the mess. "We'd like for you to stay for dinner and bring Bella, of course, if she can get away from them. Is she calling off the wedding today?"

Paul nodded. "Yeah, sometime today."

When six o'clock rolled around, Paul was starting to worry. He hadn't heard from Bella all day. He also knew that she wanted to talk to her dad first, so as he waited and waited, his conversations with Billy and Cora eased his panic just a little, but it was constantly going back to his imprint.

Cora excused herself to start dinner. Jacob had taken the twins to Seattle, so Paul agreed to come by the next day, as well. He was beyond happy with the way things were going. He just needed Bella there to make it better.

Luckily, Bella had cell service in the meadow where her and Edward would go just to have some peace and quiet. She still felt like Edward wouldn't hurt her even though she knew there was at least four wolves nearby. Her chest already ached from being away from Paul, but now her stomach was adding to her discomfort.

Sam had insisted that Bella ride on his back to the clearing. He knew how clumsy she is, and she agreed with him.

Edward was in the meadow within minutes. Bella sat on the ground picking at the tiny purple flowers that she loved so much.

For a vampire, Edward was a little reluctant on meeting Bella in the meadow. She had never taken that walk alone without a reason. She'd only been gone a few days before she came back to Forks. He had left her alone, except the day before. There was a guy with her at a restaurant and he wondered who he was. It frustrated him that he didn't focus well enough on their conversation to find out. He couldn't ignore the thoughts the guy was having, though. He wanted his Bella, and the guy is definitely a wolf. He had to be one of the LaPush wolves that had recently joined their pack. Alice had promised Edward she'd keep an eye on Bella, but she thought of Bella lounging on the bed watching TV. Edward had to see for himself, so that's why he went to Port Angeles. He couldn't wait to move away from Washington, all together.

Bella smiled up at Edward as he came to stand next to her. "Have a seat."

Edward expected Bella to insist on a kiss, but she just sat there. He initiated the kiss on his own and she slightly turned her face for his kiss to land on her cheek. "I smell Sam on you."

"He was out patrolling and offered me a ride," Bella explained. "He knows how clumsy I am."

"That was thoughtful of him," Edward said as he reached for Bella's hand. Then he noticed a new wolf scent on her. "Did another LaPush boy phase?" Unnoticed by Bella, Edward leaned in closer to sniff her, again. "His smell is strong on you."

"Not exactly," Bella replied. "But he is someone I need to tell you about."

"Okay," Edward said suspiciously. "So, who is he?"

Bella looked up at Edward making him very aware of her sad eyes. "I have some other stuff I need to say before I get to him."

"Is this about your time away?" Edward's mind began to wonder about so many different things that she could tell him.

"Yeah, I needed that time." She sighed and looked down where he held her hand. "Could you listen to what I have to say without interrupting me?"

"Sure," Edward agreed as he stuffed his hands in his pockets.

Bella just needed to grab the bull by the horns and tell him, but she also felt obligated to explain her feelings. "When you left for all those months, I would've done anything to get you back. You really did break my heart. Then Jake got me out doing things to keep my mind off of you."

Edwards eyes were glued on her as he wished he could read her mind. He felt incomplete when she released his hand and leaned back. "Jake was great and he still is. He loves me and I love him, but not romantically. He's my best friend. He always has been. There are things I can talk to him about that he understands because he gets me."

Jacob was a sore subject for Edward. He knows how much he loves Bella, and in that moment he wanted so badly to say something.

"You broke that trust I had for you, and honesty is a huge part of that, too. You manipulated me into thinking it was all my fault."

"We talked about this, Bella. You forgave me." Edward had his defenses up and ready.

"Edward, I know I did, and I meant it. I've tried so hard every day to feel the way I did before you left. I loved you so much and that's why it hurt so bad."

"You said loved as in past tense." Edward couldn't help the wave of sadness wash over him. He was perfect at reading between the lines, and this was one of those times he wished he was stupid to the concept.

"Edward," Bella warned. "Let me talk."

Edward took a deep breath and waved his hand for her to continue. "I'm sorry. Please continue." He was starting to have a bad feeling. Especially since he now knew the wolves were nearby.

"I tried, Edward. I was willing to let you change me so we could finally be together intimately. That's the real reason I agreed to marry you because you're so set in your ways, and no matter what I did, you pushed me away. I couldn't exactly force myself on you. I know that sounds selfish and all, but the rate you were dragging us, I'd be a virgin until the day I die, and I've been ready."

Edward opened his mouth to speak, but Bella put her hand up. "Don't you dare."

"I want babies, Edward. Lots of babies. I want to experience pregnancy. I want to give birth and you can't give that to me. I want to keep eating steak and ice cream and drink copious amounts of tea and eventually try alcohol. I want everything that comes with being human." Bella finally looked up at him. "I can't marry you; I'm sorry. I want to stay human and live the life that God gave me."

If Edward could cry, he would definitely be crying. "Please, Bella? You can stay human, and we can get a sperm donor so you can have all the babies you want." He looked up to the fading sky. "We wouldn't have to leave Forks."

Bella shook her head. "Edward, something happened yesterday that I had no control over. I can't find the right words to describe it. It was like gravity pulled me in the direction I was supposed to go." Bella took a deep breath. "I was imprinted on yesterday and the only way I can describe how I was feeling is that I imprinted on him, too."

Edward looked pissed. "Who is he?" He asked through gritted teeth. Bella could feel his anger rolling off of him.

"His name is Paul and he's Billy's first-born son." Edward looked at her as if she grew two heads. He knew what that meant.

"This is bullshit. You could've just told me you didn't want to get married. You didn't need to make up a story like that." Edward was beyond seething, now.

Bella stood up. "How dare you accuse me of lying to you. Unlike you, I've never lied to you not one time during our entire relationship. You've manipulated me, and if I didn't know any better, you did some voodoo shit to me to make me think that I loved you."

"That's sick!" He yelled as he stood in a flash. "Just plain fucking sick!"

"Edward, I can't help this and you know it. If you would've never left me, then none of this would be happening, but you did and my heart changed. I tried for months and months to feel the way I used to, but I couldn't."

"You were just stringing me along? For what? Just so you could rip my dead heart out?"

Bella didn't want to cry, but the corners of her eyes were burning with tears. "It's nothing like that. I thought if you changed me, I could learn to love you and trust you like I used to."

"Oh, give it a rest, Bella. You've already moved on. Did you let him fuck you already?"

"That's uncalled for," Sam said from the tree line.

"Mind your own damn business, dog," Edward said in an infuriating tone. "You and all you fucking mutts can go to hell."

"Edward!" Bella screamed then slapped him. It stung her hand like hell, but she would deal with that later. Her stomach was starting to hurt and all she wanted to do was get back to Paul. "I am so done. I wanted us to part amicably, but you're being such a dick. You've turned into a soulless prick. There shouldn't be any reason why you can't get on with your life without me."

"You've given me no choice!" Edward bellowed just as Sam shifted and walked into the meadow with the other wolves. "Awe...you're sending your fucking puppies after me, now!"

Bella climbed up on Sam's back and as soon as they left the clearing, she began sobbing uncontrollably. She was sure Edward could hear her, but at that moment she could care less. She had never seen nor heard stuff like that ever come out of Edwards mouth. It was a side of him that she could have done without seeing and she felt like it was all her fault. Her feelings were hurt worse than she expected.

Bella buried her face into the hair on the back of Sam's neck and just cried. She just wanted Paul because she knew he could ease her pain. When they made it back to her house, she waited in the front yard so Sam could go around the back to phase and put his shorts on. When he came back, he pulled her into a hug. "You gonna be okay, little bit?"

"I've never seen him like that before and it scared me." She sniffed as she tried to hold back more tears and snot.

"Attitudes change in situations like that." He pulled away from their hug. "It'll all be okay."

"I know. Thanks for helping me," she said. "I'm just going to go wash up and head to LaPush."

"Okay." Then Sam smiled. "I can't wait to meet Paul, but most of all, I can't believe you're an imprint."

Bella chuckled. "I know, right. It's so surreal. Of all the people in the world, I get imprinted on."

Sam gave her a guilty smile. "You know Jake's not going to be happy about this, right?" He was serious with his assumption because everyone knew how Jake feels about Bella.

Bella gave Sam a sad look. "I really hope he understands that there wasn't any way I could control it."

Sam and Bella parted with one last hug. When she walked in the house Charlie was attempting to make food. "Don't put that in there!" She said in a raised voice. "You'll blow up the house."

Charlie was about to put an open can of Ravioli into the microwave. "I didn't want to dirty any dishes."

"Dad, I love you, but metal and microwaves don't mix. What're you going to do when I finally move out?" She pulled down a bowl and dumped the mushy concoction into it. "You really should find you a woman to take care of you."

"I'm fine," he said defending himself. "I raised you for nearly 19 years and you're still alive."

Bella's phone pinged from her back pocket. When she pulled it out, she smiled. "Here, put this in the fridge. We're going to Billy's for dinner."

Charlie wasn't about to argue. He loved Cora's cooking.

They rode down together in Charlie's truck. She had a strong feeling that Paul would drive her anywhere she needed to go, and when they pulled up to Billy's house, Paul was standing outside. Just the sight of him made Bella's heart race. Charlie had never seen his daughter so happy as she jumped out of the truck and ran towards Paul. He caught her with ease when she launched herself at him.

As any father, who loved to see their kids happy, Charlie stood back and watched them for a second. He knew in that very moment that he would never lose his daughter. He had feared that he would if she married the Cullen boy. He still didn't know the outcome from her break-up, and he was sure Bella would tell him when she was ready.

Paul finally put Bella back on her feet and looked over her head at her father. "You going to introduce me?"

Bella smiled, being very proud to call Charlie her father. "Paul, this is my dad, Charlie, but just about everyone in town call him Chief Swan."

Paul extended his hand. "Chief Swan, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Same here, bud, but you can call me Charlie." As they shook hands, Charlie noticed the infectious smiles they shared.

Cora and Billy opened the door. "Dinners ready, guys. It's about to get cold if you don't get in here."

"We'll talk back at the hotel," Bella whispered to Paul.

Bella couldn't remember the last time she had been so happy. She worried about Jacob and how he would react to everything that's happening. Deep down, she knew he would understand. He had told her numerous times that all he wanted for her was to be happy, and finally, with Paul, Bella is completely and truly happy. All she wished for now was for Jacob to accept Paul as his brother and a pack member.

Charlie's phone rang while they were eating so he stepped outside to take the call. He wasn't gone very long. "I need to head into the station. There's been a bad accident on the 101 with a couple of fatalities."

Cora jumped up from the table. "Let me send some food with you; you barely got to eat."

"I'd appreciate that. Apparently, as a grown man, I can't seem to feed myself very well."

"Dad, when you put a can in the microwave, that should be proof enough." Bella's brows were raised as she firmly stated that her dad was a little air-headed when it came to heating up food.

Billy and Paul laughed, but Cora gasped. "Charlie, you did not."

"If I didn't walk in when I did, who knows what would've happened." Bella shook her head. "He really needs someone to take care of him."

Cora handed Charlie a sandwich stuffed into a Ziploc bag. "Here's something you don't have to heat up."

Charlie kissed Cora's cheek. "Thank you."

After Charlie left, Billy started making plans to have a welcoming party for Paul. He wanted everyone to know that his son had finally come home. Paul said it wasn't necessary, but the vote was three against one.

"So, there's some rental properties available on the reservation. Sam's fiancé, Emily, manages the real estate company that rents them out. It's up to you where you want to live. We don't have any extra rooms here, but we do have very comfortable couch."

Paul smiled at Cora. He knew he would be staying in Washington regardless if he imprinted or not. His father and his father's wife, who is also his aunt, accepted him with open arms. He felt like he should be freaking out about all the information being shared with him but he wasn't. "I'll give her a call tomorrow if you can give me her number."

Cora got up for a minute and pulled a card off the cork board just inside the kitchen. "She gets in the office about eight. I'm sure she'll work with you for deposits and all that jazz."

"I'll probably buy if she has something I like," he says smiling up at everyone.

"That's good to hear, son," Billy says then cleared his throat. "There's something I need to tell you, and you don't have to make a decision today or even tomorrow."

"Okay," Paul replied then leaned back in his chair. Bella took his hand and laced their fingers together because she had an idea as to what Billy was about to tell him. Jacob tended to talk about it, a lot.

"You'll learn more about the pack when we have our bonfire party, but in the mean time, we need you to seriously consider your options." Billy pushed his finished plate away. "I'm sure Bella's told you about how I ended up in this chair." Paul nodded, confirming Billy's assumption. "I used to be Alpha and when I was hurt, the only pack member of age was Sam, so he took over. Jacob was due to take his place once he turns 18, but you're my first born. Jacob still has a little ways to go before his birthday, so it's your position if you think it's something you can handle."

Bella glanced up at Paul, and for a moment, she worried if that put too much pressure on him so soon after just meeting them. "Do I have a choice, or is this something that I'm obligated for because I'm the first born?" Paul knew he wasn't ready, and he may never be ready because he was still learning about his heritage.

Billy shook his head. "No. You have a choice. I understand if it's something you're not ready for. We won't push you to accept your Alpha right. You don't have to do it at all if that's what you choose."

Paul nodded. "I'll definitely have to think about it," he said then raised Bella's hand to kiss the back of it. "There's a lot that I need to get used to." He then looked over at Bella. "Especially with this one."

"Don't let her fool you, Paul. She's braver than anyone I know. Nothing weird surprises her," Cora said. "Not a lot gets passed her, either. She's put Jake in his place a time or two, and we're pretty sure the reason she had a similar reaction to imprinting is because you're the rightful alpha. It happened to me."

"Serious?" Bella asked excitedly. "We definitely need to talk."

Paul stood from the table. "I think we're going to take off. We'll definitely be back some time tomorrow." He pulled Bella up with him.

Cora stood from the table, as well. "Come about noon and I'll make some lunch. Jake and the twins should be back by then." They started gathering stuff from the table and taking them into the kitchen.

Bella turned to Billy. "You think Jake will be okay with all this?"

"You know how he feels, Bella. I foresee a little hissy fit. Especially about the whole Alpha situation."

That perked up Paul's ears. "Does he want to be Alpha that bad?"

"Yeah, he's been itching for it since he first phased. It's something he looks forward to." Billy rolled around to where Paul was standing. "I honestly think he'd have more of a fit about Alpha than he would over Bella being imprinted on."

Bella finished with clearing the table. "I'll talk to him tomorrow," she said. "I know he'd prefer it if I tell him."

They all shared hugs before Bella and Paul walked out to his truck. "Can you take me by my house so I can get some clothes?"

"Of course," Paul responded then tossed her his keys. "You drive."

Paul was trying to pay attention to the roads and turns so he could remember how to get to Bella's house, but he could barely keep his eyes off of her as she drove. "You sure you want to stay with me tonight?" He hoped she didn't feel obligated.

Bella smiled over at him. "Did you have other plans?"

"No. I was hoping you would tell me what happened with your ex. He is your ex now, right?" Paul hoped Edward didn't have the power to manipulate Bella anymore. He would kill him even if he thought about it.

"What if I told you I was still engaged to be married?" Bella was good at answering questions with questions.

Paul growled under his breath. "I'd hope you were engaged to me and not someone else." He reached over and tucked some hair behind her ear. "I didn't fail to notice that you kept the ring off after I slipped it off your finger last night."

"I'm definitely no longer engaged, and the situation was very tense. He called me a liar. He said I made up the whole imprint so I couldn't marry him." Bella pulled into the driveway next to her dad's truck. Her truck was still parked where she left it.

"Do you expect any problems from him? Or anyone else in his family?"

Bella exhaled. "I don't know about Edward, but the rest of the family, I honestly don't think they will do anything. Especially Rosalie. She was against us being together in the first place."

When Bella got out of the truck, she was suddenly caught off guard when Edward appeared out of nowhere. Paul was in front of her in a flash. "I don't know who you are, but you need to back the fuck up," Paul warned.

"Just leave, Edward. I have nothing more to say," Bella demanded from behind Paul. "We're over. There's no reason for you to be here."

"Is this your dog, Bella? The one you supposedly now belong to?" Bella could see how black Edward's eyes were and knew he hadn't hunted for at least a week. She hadn't noticed earlier in the day when they met in the meadow. She just wanted to end their relationship and get back to Paul as soon as she could.

Bella was afraid to step away from Paul. "She doesn't belong to anyone. She's her own person."

Paul had began to shake and Bella noticed. "Edward go!"

Paul's breaths were becoming deeper and faster. "Leave leech or you won't be walking away from here."

A deep growl came from the side of Bella's house and suddenly, Sam and five other wolves started to approach where they were standing. Then Edwards eyes grew wide at Paul. "Get that thought out of your fucking head," he growled at Paul. "Bella, he can't love you like I do. He can't give you the world like I can."

Sam and the other wolves were now circled around Paul's truck standing guard just in case Edward tried to harm Paul or Bella.

"Edward, Paul is who I want. I've accepted his imprint." In true traditional form, Bella and Paul hadn't consummated the imprint, but Edward didn't need to know that.

Paul looked around at the other wolves and he calmed enough not to phase. He felt a little more protected with them there. "Angel, go inside and get your bag packed so we can go to the hotel." Paul made sure he kept his eyes on Edward as he talked to Bella. He knew what he was saying was stabbing at the vampire, but in that moment, he didn't care a single bit.

"Bella, please don't do this. You're making a huge mistake." Edward was trying every angle he could think of to try and get through to the woman he loves.

"The only mistake I made was taking you back and agreeing to marry you. Please go. Paul is who I want. I shouldn't have to repeat myself." Bella stepped from behind Paul. "You promised to let me go if I chose to be with someone else."

Bella could see Edwards hands balled into fists. "And you promised that I am who you want."

"People are entitled to change their mind. You, of all people, should know that." The wolf that Bella knew was Brady, came walking up to her. "We're done and now we're leaving."

Paul took Bella's outreached hand then started walking towards the house. Just as they reached the steps, they heard a loud roar as they witnessed the blur of Edward running away from them.

Bella stopped for a moment. "Guys, this is Paul. You'll officially meet him this weekend."

All the wolves released happy howls which made Bella smile and once inside, Bella made quick of stuffing clean clothes into the bag sitting on her bed. Then she grabbed her toiletries that were still packed. As soon as she got back downstairs, she scribbled out a note to Charlie to let him know she was with Paul.

A few of the wolves were lingering around when Paul and Bella came out of the house. As soon as they sped off towards Port Angeles, the wolves went back to patrolling. Believe it or not, they were all excited about meeting Billy's first born and more importantly, Bella was finally away from the leeches.

Paul stopped at a small grocery store to pick up some snacks, drinks and condoms. If he and Bella decided to consummate their imprint, soon, then he wanted to be prepared. He wasn't exactly ready to knock her up. He wanted to make sure they knew each other better before they brought babies into the picture.

When the hotel came into view, Bella started to get nervous. She wasn't sure if Paul expected sex so soon. She did know, on the other hand, they had plenty to talk about.

They kicked off their shoes as soon as they walked in the door. Paul took their snacks to the table that sat in the corner of the room. Luckily, there was a small refrigerator to keep their drinks cold. Bella felt that a hot shower would help her relax before slipping on her over-sized sleep clothes. She was mentally exhausted and all she wanted to do was snuggle in next to her man to watch some TV.

For some reason, Bella left the bathroom door ajar just a little. Deep down she hoped Paul would climb into the shower with her. The truth was, she was only trying to convince herself that they should wait for sex, but she had been trying for well over a year to get Edward to fuck her. He was so stuck in the past that it never happened. She was definitely ready even more than she ever had been, and she knew that the imprint and her eagerness had everything to do with it.

Bella was facing the shower nozzle letting the hot water run over her as she imagined Paul behind her. She wanted his arms around her as his hands massaged her breasts. At that point, she wanted him any way she could have him. She knew how the imprint worked for the most part. It was as if the moment they imprinted on each other, Bella's libido had kicked into overdrive. She couldn't remember if she ever wanted to have sex with Edward as badly as she wanted Paul at that particular moment.

She knew Paul would never break her heart and he would never leave her. The whole situation was as if Edward never existed. She knew that her and Paul were meant to be together. Could one have such strong feelings for another in just under 48 hours?

As if her imagination was coming to life, she felt strong, warm arms wrap around her. She melted into him as he smoothed his hands over her hardened nipples. She felt his mouth on the juncture of her neck and shoulder as his teeth nipped at her skin. "What are you thinking about?" He asked as he kissed along her skin.

"You," she simply stated.

She put her hands over his that were cupping and massaging each of her breasts. The feeling sent heat over her entire body. She was having feelings that were completely new to her. "I've never had sex before and I've never been touched like this."

Paul sucked her skin from her neck into his mouth. "Are you nervous?"

Bella turned around to face him. She felt his arousal against her hip as she moved to wrap her arms around his neck. "Not even a tiny bit. I know you won't hurt me."

"I'll never hurt you," he said looking into her eyes. "I'll never leave you." He kissed her forehead. "And even if I hadn't imprinted on you, I'd still want to be with you. You're worth more to me than anything in this entire world."

Bella pulled Paul's head down to kiss him then said, "I want to be with you and not just to lose my virginity."

Paul chuckled. "That's an added bonus. I don't want to ever think of you with another man, ever."

"You're lucky then because I could never get Edward to even touch me let alone kiss me the way a girl wants to be kissed." Bella kissed him again which led to complete hot and heavy passion.

The steam from the hot water billowed around them only making things hotter as they began fondling each other. "I want you now," Bella said against Paul's mouth.

"In the shower?" Paul was surprised.

"Yes," Bella responded seriously.

Paul pulled away. "I need a condom, and I don't think a shower should be your first time."

Bella was so caught up in the moment that she didn't even think about birth control. "Yes, of course. I wasn't thinking clearly."

"It's okay," he said and pulled her to him. "There's other things we can do in the shower."

Bella chuckled. "I'm sure there's plenty, but if you're planning on going down on me in the shower, I'll have to decline because I'm not very stable on my feet."

"I'll keep that in mind," Paul says as he slipped his hand between her legs. He found her clit right away, and that alone, nearly brought Bella to her knees.

Paul turned her around and wrapped one arm over her chest and held her against him. "I want to show you what you've been missing out on."

He slipped his other hand back down between her legs and proceeded to make Bella melt. She had never had these feelings before that Paul caused her body to feel as he eased a finger between her swollen lips. Paul needed her to relax, so he began to kiss her neck and pluck at her nipples with his other fingers. He didn't push his finger in too far; just enough to feel her heat as he rubbed her. His hardened cock had slipped between her legs as he began to thrust against her. He would save his entrance for the bed and reveled in the feeling of her slick heat. He needed for her to cum, at least once, before they got out of the shower, and seconds later, Bella's moans echoed off the shower walls as she came.

Paul needed to cum, but he wanted to be inside her when that time came. "Let's get out of the shower."

Bella reached out to turn off the water while Paul grabbed their towels. He then stepped into the room as Bella towel dried her hair. He dimmed the lamp on the bedside table and turned down the blanket and sheet on the bed before he finished drying himself off. When Bella stepped out of the bathroom, completely naked, she took his breath away.

"You're so beautiful," he said and sighed. "I can't believe I was blessed to imprint on you."

"Well," Bella cooed as she stepped up to Paul's naked form. "I think I imprinted on you, too because you're the sexiest, hottest, handsomest..."

Paul chuckled. "I don't think that's a word, but I'll take it."

Bella couldn't take her eyes off of him as she thought about how glorious his cock was as it stood at attention against his stomach. She could feel herself getting wet just thinking about how he was going to feel inside her before placing her hands on his chest and smiled up at him. "I want you."

Paul smiled down at her. "We can wait. There's no rush. You know I'm not going anywhere."

"Are you trying to talk yourself out of doing it or me? Like I told Edward, I've accepted your imprint and now we just need to consummate it. I can already feel my soul trying to reconnect with yours." She raised up on her tip toes to kiss him. "I've never been surer about anything in my entire life. You're the life I was meant to have otherwise what's the use of an imprint?"

Paul placed his hands on Bella's face and leaned down to kiss her. "You're amazing." He kissed her again. "Inside and out."

Bella wrapped her arms around him as they kissed, and he turned her towards the bed to help her lay back. They disconnected their mouths long enough for her to move to the center of the bed. Paul held the blanket up as he eased in over the top of her. Bella's legs fell open, willingly, as Paul reached for a condom he had put on the bedside table. Bella took it from him and decided to roll it on for him. He felt huge in her hands as she imagined for one second how it was going to feel when he pushed inside her.

Paul reached down to make sure it was secure before he finally rested between Bella's legs. She pulled them up to rest on his hips as she got comfortable. There was no need to express their feelings because they already knew. The words were unspoken, but they knew without saying.

"I know there's going to be pain," Bella said as she placed her hand on his cheek. "I'll be okay."

Paul smiled at her before slipping his hand down to grip his cock to place the head at her opening. His mouth was on hers as he began to push inside her. The further he pushed, she tensed. "Just relax," he whispered against her lips then began kissing her, again. Their kiss was slow as their tongues made love to each other.

A loud, painful gasp escaped Bella as Paul pushed completely inside her. He swallowed her cries as he stilled to give her a minute to adjust. When she pulled her legs up further, Paul began to move at a steady pace in the beginning then began moving faster and pressing harder inside of her. Bella wasn't sure she would have an orgasm during her first-time having sex, but she sure as hell felt something magical starting to flow through her body. She had only had orgasms brought on by her own hand. Edward had always left her so pent up and horny that she started masturbating to ease her ache.

Bella literally saw stars as the heat rushed through her. Paul had buried his face into her neck, and what happened next, sent both of them to a whole new universe. Paul bit down on the juncture of her neck and shoulder. As soon as the metallic taste of blood hit his tongue, their bond completely sealed and anchored their souls together. They felt every last sensation as Paul came deep inside her. His entire thinking changed in that very moment. He no longer wanted to use condoms. His wolf craved offspring and wanted nothing more than to impregnate her.

Paul growled as he pulled away from her neck. "Holy fucking shit!" He looked down to see a blissful expression on Bella's face. "What the fuck was that?"

"I don't know, but we'll have to do that again real soon," Bella said between breaths. "I can't move."

Paul noticed the bite mark on Bella's neck, and as if on instinct, he leaned over and licked over the wound. Bella opened her eyes to see the man of her forever. "Is your body humming?"

"Hell yeah, it is. What the hell was all that? Normal isn't exactly the way I would describe that." Paul raised up enough to reach down and pull off the condom. "I think we should hop in the shower and rinse off."

Ten minutes later, they were dried off and climbing back into bed. Once they were comfortable, Bella with her head on Paul's chest, they just laid in quietness as their bodies began to relax. They fell into a deep sleep that way, both with smiles of satisfaction.

It takes two, and they just TANGO'd
