News spread quickly of Masaomi's death. The police had released very little info on all they found. But it was obvious just by the video on how the Yellow Scarves leader had died. Literally being torn apart by a monster. It was unknown to the public if Masaomi's remains had actually been found, but there was a funeral service planned for him. Now that Masaomi was gone, the strongest of the Yellow Scarves members took over as leader. The new leader was none other than a certain bastard known as Minato Takai.

The other members didn't protest. Since they did not know Minato was actually an enemy of their old leader. Had they known the truth, and known Minato was to blame for Masaomi's death. They would have made sure he would never be seen alive again.

Meanwhile, since the incident, Anri Sonohara had been trying to contact Mikado. The young teen refused to answer any calls, and hadn't been seen by anyone. Anri was worried for her friend. She lost one friend already, and feared she would soon lose Mikado as well. The quiet teen made her way to Mikado's apartment, hoping he would talk to her. Once there she knocked at his door.

"Ryuugamine kun. It's me Anri. May I come in?" She asked softly, waiting for an answer. Or any sign that Mikado was home. At first there was no answer, nor sign of anyone inside. But soon she heard something move, and the door unlocking. The door slowly opened, and Mikado peeked out at her. His eyes had dark circles suggesting he hadn't slept for days. "Sonohara san. " He said in a tired emotionless tone, before opening the door all the way so she could enter. Anri bowed as a thank you, then entered.

She looked around the apartment. It was a bit messy, appearing Mikado hadn't cleaned up in a while. Mikado gestured for her to sit down. She sat down on the couch and looked at him. A look of concern on her face as she did so. "How, how have you been lately? No one has heard from you since, since what happened to Masaomi." She said softly looking at him with a frown.

"I've been busy is all." Mikado said, avoiding eye contact. "Oh?" She questioned. He nodded. "I've been speaking with Orihara san." He added. Anri's eyes widened as she let out a soft gasp. "Why?" Was all she could ask. "Simple. Orihara san has contacts. He knows everyone in this city that is of any worth. If anyone can unmask Deadwolv it's him. And when I find the bastard, I am going to kill him." Mikado said bluntly with no emotion in his voice. A cold lifeless look in his eyes.

Anri frowned, her hands clenched on the hem of her skirt. "But he may be too strong. He may kill you like he did to Kida Kun." She said, worried for Mikado. "He won't succeed. I won't let him. I will destroy him, and burn his remains. " Mikado said getting up to get a drink. "Please, just be careful. We are not sure what all he is capable of. For all we know, he may not even be human, or able to be killed." Anri said getting up and placing her hand on his shoulder."After all. Kida Kun wouldn't want you getting yourself hurt or worse. He would want you safe." She said. "Safe? Why would he care if I am safe!? He's gone now. Nothing left of him. Dead, torn apart. He probably would want revenge on his killer! And I am going to see that happen. I will take down Deadwolv. And anyone who gets in my way. That's my vow to Masaomi. I will avenge him." Mikado said, holding back angry tears. Anri was taken aback by this outburst. She looked down sadly, then left Mikado's apartment without even saying goodbye.

As Anri ran home crying softly, the headless rider drove by Mikado's apartment. Celty was out late at night transporting some package to a client. As she turned a corner rather quickly, she saw a flash of yellow and red. Slowing down she looked back to see what it was. If the dullahan had a mouth, she would have screamed. Standing on the street corner was Masaomi Kida. At least she thought it was him. He looked deathly pale, almost as pale as her. His eyes darkened, and his clothes and even body covered in blood. The bloodied teen looked at her, causing a strange feeling of dread run down her spine. He then vanished completely as if he was never there.

The dullahan was in shock. Was that really Masaomi? Was he now haunting Ikebukuro? But why did he look, so angry. So deadly. As if he wanted to kill someone. The way he stared at her, made her feel as if whatever that was , was no longer the Kida she knew. But something filled with hatred and anger. She had remembered something Shinra had told her once. How it is believed in Japan if someone dies a sudden brutal death, they can become cursed to wander earth forever seeking revenge on any who cross their paths. Onryo, was what he called it. Allot like the ghosts in the Ju on movies, and 'looked' down. If it truly was Masaomi, does that mean he is now forever cursed? That was even more tragic than his death. Someone who was once so full of life joy and love, now forever filled with hatred and violence. She then went back to work, before going home to see Shinra.

The moment she entered the apartment Shinra practically tackled her for a hug. "Celty darling!" He said happily hugging her. The dullahan didn't hit him, or throw him off like usual. This reaction confused Shinra, and he looked at her. "Is something wrong Celty?" He questioned. Celty looked down then typed on her phone and showed him. (I think I saw a ghost. I think I saw Kida Masaomi.) Shinra's eyes widened reading this. "Amazing!" He gasped. Which surprised Celty. She then jabbed him in his stomach with her shadows.

"Sorry sorry, ow!" He cried out. "I just meant it's interesting he is now a ghost is all..." Shinra pouted. Celty then typed another message. (Is it possible he is an Onryo like in the movies? When I saw him, I felt such a strong energy of anger and hatred coming from him. It felt like he wanted to kill someone.) Shinra scratched his cheek thinking. "Most likely yes. Would make sense considering how he died. Though if he truly is a vengeful Onryo, he will not just target those responsible for his death. They will usually attack any human who crosses their path. Even if that person was once a friend or family of theirs. Basically, if he comes across say Mikado Kun or Anri Chan, he would probably kill or curse them without mercy or remorse. Since everyone is now an enemy in his eyes." Shinra explained.
Hearing this made Celty more upset. (Should we warn his friends and girlfriend?) She then asked him. "I guess. Better safe than sorry. Basically, if he is an onryo he will most likely haunt the place he died the most. So, it would be best to warn his friends to avoid the street he died on, especially at night." Shinra explained, pulling out his phone to text Mikado and Anri. "Good thing they gave us their numbers encase we ever had an emergency." He added as he sent the messages./p
