"Why would you do this?" Peyton asked.
"I fell in love with her the minute we heard the heartbeat. The pregnancy. Seeing her born. Sawyer and I not sharing a biological tie means nothing to me." Lucas proclaimed.
"Okay if that's what you want. I'll leave town quietly. Cancel the visit with the social worker."
"She's all yours Luke." Peyton said. As she finished packing.

Brooke was back at home and found herself still staring at the pregnacy test. The results what they are.
She was relieved the test was negative. She found herself confused and reeling from the heartbreak left by Julian.
The plans and future she envisioned had vanished. She was alone again and maybe it was for the best.
Brooke Davis needs no one. And love was a lie she was done believing in.
Days Later
Brooke was showered and dressed. She had just made her way downstairs to have some breakfast not sure what she wanted. Whn knocking at her front door brought her out of the kitchen and into the entryway. She looked through the peephole then opened the door.
A smile coming to her face. At the sight of Lucas and Sawyer.
"Bo." Sawyer said.
Brooke smiled warmly. "I was going to put breakfast together."
"Did the two of you eat already?" Brooke asked.
"We didn't. This little couldn't decide what she wanted." Lucas replied.
"I big." Sawyer said.
"Let's get you're hair into some pigtails or a ponytail."
"While you're dad figures out breakfast." Brooke proclaimed. Taking Sawyer's hand in hers.
"You know you're way around. I have waffles. Pancakes. Eggs. Sausage. The fridge is full." Brooke mentioned to Lucas.
"I'll make us something delicious. Thank you for helping with her hair." Lucas replied.
