Days Later
"What do you mean he declined to make a statement. He knows how important this is?" Peyton questioned. Looking to her lawyer.
"I'm going to call him. I can change his mind." Peyton added in.
"Mr. Scott asked to not be contacted. He's made that clear to you already. " The lawyer replied.
"What does this mean for my case?" Peyton asked.
"There is someone to speak. So they will do that." The lawyer announced.
Peyton sighed deeply. Feeling angry and defeated.
When it was time for her hearing. Peyton was seated with her lawyer. And it was Brooke who was standing and ready to speak.
"State you're name for the record." The judge said.
"Brooke Scott." She replied.
Peyton felt herself rage and her fists clenched.
They got married. It was obvious that Brooke was heavily pregnant.
"Peyton Sawyer decided when things didn't go her way."
"She made the choice to kill her father. She attempted to kill the man she claimed to love."
"But it wasn't love. She used and manipulated Lucas. Knowing his feelings for her were authentic."
"She planned to give her daughter up for adoption because Lucas rejected her after blowing his world apart."
"Peyton Sawyer deserves to live in her regret. Alone. Miserable."
"For the rest of her life." Brooke said.
"Thank you Mrs. Scott. I know coming here and reliving all that was difficult. You may step down." The judge replied.
And waiting for her was Lucas. He hugged her and kissed her.
Holding her hand as they waited to see what the judge would decide.
"She took him from me! You all see it!" Peyton exclaimed.
The judge glared at Peyton.
