Chapter 61
Everyone's got a life that no one knows about.
It had been a mumber of days since everything happened. It was calm and peaceful. I didn't want to go on maternity leave yet.
Not until i had too. I was able to work and do anything i needed too.
"How much longer before i can meet my brother?" Sawyer asked. Dropping her bookbag near the seating area.
As she got a snack and drink from the snack bar.
"Not for a couple of weeks." Brooke replied.
"I wanted to pick up where we left off. When you brought up where babies come from."
"Let's talk about that. When two people care about each other deeply. Or are in love. Sometimes they can decide to want to grow their family. Turning those strong feelings into a baby."
Does that answer you're question?" Brooke asked.
Yeah. Can i start my homework now? Sawyer questioned.
"You do that. And i'll let you know when it's time to go home." Brooke replied.

It wasn't until Brooke got home did she get a call from her OBGYN to come in as soon as possible.
Brooke made an appointment for the earliest time she could find.
She waited to tell Lucas. Until after they had dinner and Sawyer was tucked in for bed.
"Can we go now?" Lucas asked.
"The office is closed. I don't want to stress or worry but i can't do anything but." Brooke replied.
