"Sorry I lassoed you dad, but you weren't listening to us about resting, but it was like when I tied mom up, and Rocket wants to know, judging by the look on his face." Ranger said to Rocket Senior. It was a week later and after resting, meds and Ranger's soup, Rocket Senior was feeling a bit better relieving Ranger and Rocket but Rocket was curious, hearing Ranger had tied up their mom. "Of course I wanna hear this abd not getting ideas." Rocket told him making Nebula facepalm.
"It was a few nights after what mom did, kicking you oht and our sibs were anxious, that it could happen to them so one night when she'd gotten upset, I tied her up then we left the tree which was probably a shock when dad returned finding us gone and mom tied up." Ranger explained hearing Rocket clapping seeing Rocket Senior sigh. "Yes it was, but shocked she kicked yohr hro oht then you guys vamoosed thankfully, Herbie found yor brother and took him in." Rocket Senior replied, his furry cheeks going pink making Rocket grin seeing their dad getting texts from Herbert making Ranger curious.
"We should get a drink at Starlings you know, my friends are curious about you." Rocket told him seeing Ranger quiet about the idea of meeting his brother's friends feeling their dad squeeze his paw gently knowing this was a good thing as he wanted to hang out with Herbert as he was visiting making Rocket get it. "Yeah, dad's right just try." he told him seeing Ranger relent going to get ready but hugged Mooey before leaving unaware Rocket had seen while checking on him seeing him come out ready relieving him. "Don't worry, my friends will like you." he assured Ranger
"I hope so, brother, I find it hard to make friends." Ranger mumbled as they left.
"So, this is yourbrother Ranger, Rocket, as he looks different from you." Kraklin said to Rocket. It was early evening and both Ranger and Rocket were at Starlings at a table but while Rocket was comfortable there, Ranger was anxious and quiet which the other Guardians noticed compared to Rocket who was talking a lot and laughing plus drinking until Ranger saw Groot who was smiling at him growing flowers to welcome him. "I am Groot." he said to him making Ranger smile
"Ohhhhh yeah, that's my best bud, Groot and he's impressing you, I see but would you like a drink and something to eat." Rocket told Ranger seeing him nodding. "Yes please bro. Yohr friend is pretty awesome with his growing skills." Ranger told him making Rocket smirk knowibg Groot could always break the ice with others, even his shy brother seeing Ranger putting the flower in his hat which looked good.
"Thanks Groot for helping, I'm not great at making friends." Ranger told him. "I am Groot, I am Groot." Groot replied making Ranger have a confused look on his face. "He said you shouldn't worry about us, we're pretty friendly." Rocket assured him.
"Ohhhhh okay, you seem to understand him." Ranger said.
"Yeah, I'll teach you Groot, since you guys are becoming pals." Rocket said to him seeing Ranger dipping nachoes in gucamole enjoying them and drinking but Ranger heard something that sounded like an animal leaving the tavern and saw it was a goat thinking it was lost snuggling it. "Ssshhh lil buddy it's okay I won't hurt you. My name's Ranger but let's go see where you came from." he told it stunning Rocket that his brother had fouhd a baby goat asking where it came from.
"No idea bro, but it looks like it needs help." he told him. It reminded Rocket of Thor's goats who'd been a pain on the Milano but Ranger had found this lil guy. "Maybe it can come home." Rocket said.
