A massive misunderstanding

During his sophomore year, Dwayne Junior isn't spending as much time with Miles, due to Miles spending a lot of time with her new baby brother. When people see that Junior is spending most of his spare time with Laurie, rumors begin spreading that Junior broke up with Miles, and now has Laurie as a new girlfriend. Sequel to The magic teenager.

4. Chapter 4

Junior was fast asleep, when he heard a knock on the bedroom door. As soon as he opened it, Laurie immediately rushed in and starting hugging him, with her face absolutely covered with tears. "Oh my God, it was horrible, I never want to see that happen ever again" said Laurie. "Woah, what are you talking about?" asked Junior. "I had a nightmare, and it was really bad" said Laurie. "Remember last Christmas when a rabbit got in the house?" "In my dream, I ran downstairs, and it was a complete repeat of the Loki incident." "Only this time, you were dead before you got into the ambulance." "Miles was screaming at me, she said it was all my fault." "Had I not wished karma on your dad, he wouldn't have lost his son." "Miles just kept shouting profanity after profanity, saying that I killed the love of her life." "But Laurie, that didn't happen, I got away last Christmas injury free" said Junior. "Still, I just can't seem to forget the fossil incident" said Laurie. "Your dad didn't steal the fossil on purpose, it was an accident, and he immediately tried to fix the issue." "But I took things way too far, I shouldn't have yelled at him, and it was the last time I spoke to him before your serious injury." "Laurie, if you keep dwelling on the past, it will ruin your future" said Junior. "I made it out of that attack alive, and now all four of us are friends." "I know you regret what you did, and I forgive you for it." "I promise, everything is going to be okay." While tears were still coming out of her eyes, Laurie was able to put on a smile. "Thank you Junior, Miles is very fortunate to have a boyfriend like you" said Laurie. Laurie then kissed Junior on the forehead, and went back to her room.

The following morning, hundreds of miles away, Miles was was just waking up. Her little brother woke up crying three times last night, and each time Miles had to come into his room, and rock him to sleep. She drowsily made her way to the front porch, and picked up the daily newspaper. Upon looking at the front page, she woke up completely, and could not believe what she was seeing. The headline read: CHILD CELEBRITY SPENDS THE NIGHT WITH GIRLFRIENDS BEST FRIEND. Underneath the bold print, was a picture of Junior and Laurie in their pajamas. The two were hugging each other, with Junior's face in Laurie's chest, with Laurie kissing his forehead. They were also currently in Miles' bedroom. "Oh God, please tell me this isn't what I think it is" said Miles.

Authors note: I apologize for not updating for nearly a year. The reason for this, was because I didn't want to continue writing Total drama stories, until I saw the new season. I didn't want to accidentally retcon anything. But here in the US, I have checked every streaming service there is, and I cannot find Total drama island 2023. I was starting to get impatient, so I decided that until i'm finally caught up with the new seasons, to avoid plot holes, i'll only be writing alternate AU's. I will not write something that is connected to the canon show that actually changes the timeline, until I have finished watching the new seasons. In every story I currently have so far, Total drama island 2023, does not happen 15 years later.

There was an opinion that I wanted to share about fake news, but i'm not willing to risk get sued by a certain dictator. I refuse to mention any names.
