Chapter 13

Followed by a Witch

The battle between Alfea and the Trix commenced. Beams of power were being fired everywhere from Icy, Stormy and Darcy along with the fairies who were battling including Daphne and Roxy who were in their Sirenix and Enchantix forms. Faragonda came out into the courtyard looking furious! Valerie knowing that she hadn't mastered magic yet, flew down and ordered Keesha, DA, Phoebe and Wanda to go inside so they can remain safe.

The 4 of them hesitated and refused to go inside they wanted to help out but Valerie ignored them as she concerned for their safety. She ended the short conversation with a calm "Single File Please!". She could see fear in their eyes but was proud that they wanted to help defend. Keeping them safe was a priorty as they didn't have powers or magic of their own to defend themselves. It had been a long time since she last saw fear in their eyes not since the field trips. Those were the times!

No time to recap on memories now, she herded them inside like a sheep dog herding sheep. Little did they know they were being followed. Thankfully they found Griselda, Professor Wizgiz & the school nurse who were with a group of students who hadn't transformed because they were too scared "Professor Frizzle! Look out!" Griselda shouts to Valerie. Valerie slowly towards round with her eyes still on Griselda while holding bike who was still in the form of a pendant.

One of the trix Darcy had followed them, "Boo! Its not nice to run away from people" she shouts, everyone but Valerie was shaking in their boots. "How are you?" a voice from behind Valerie was heard, Valerie immediately knew it was Wanda's voice "Why i'm the beautiful Darcy, surely you have heard of me...oh wait you haven't little human!" Darcy answers in the sly voice.

Valerie did not appreciate the attitude coming from Darcy and the way the Wanda had been spoken to "My sisters and i have been watching you 4 and your human professor, humans at a fairy school! Don't make me laugh!" Darcy says gigging. This made Valerie even more angry as she got angrier she began to feel something. A warm sensation. Something was over taking her heart like some sort of magical feeling. Her frown turned into a smile as she continued to hold her pendant.

Griselda and Professor Wizgiz step forward, Nurse Ofelia escorts the students away asking DA, Wanda, Phoebe and Keesha to come with them but they refused to go with them. Valerie didn't say anything. "You have no business here Darcy and leave our guests alone, its a shame that you girls are no longer in school i would've informed your head mistress immediately!" Griselda informed the witch while pointing her right finger like she was about to shoot magic, "Oh i'm sooo scared but that will not be any fun!" Darcy tells the Head of Discipline.

Darcy then folds her arms and everyone takes a step back "Let's start the ball rolling shall we? I've been ordered by Icy to bring you humans back outside, now you come or there will be consequences!" Darcy evilly tells the group "and what if we don't?" Professor Wizgiz answers stepping infront of everyone like he was protecting the group. Darcy just smiles but in a sheepish way, Valerie just remains calm and slient. Suddenly Darcy uses her magic to create illiusions of herself to surround the group and shoots many powerful beams of magic towards Wizgiz and Griselda knocking them out cold as they were caught of guard.

"Ahhhh what now?" Keesha yells as she looks around the room at the Darcy's, "At my old school we weren't allowed to multiply ourselves!" Phoebe then yells, "Maybe we should've gone with the nurse!" DA adds, Wanda was the last to speak "Cooommmeee on you guys were is your sense of adventure! We cannot leave Professor Frizzle on her own!". Valerie always admired their loyalty. "Oh how sweet these little humans are! You are oviously not going to come quietly! 2 down 5 to go!" Darcy shouts towards Valerie and her guests.

Valerie who had remained slient the whole time was shocked to see Griselda and Wizgiz to go down. There was no time to muck around now, "Girls remain behind me!" she cried to her Ex-students, that magical feeling in her heart was growing. "You leave us alone Darcy!" Valerie yelled as she pointed her hand towards the witch hoping that she is pointing to the real witch and not to the illusion.

Suddenly a burst of light come from her hand and in the speed of light it fired towards Darcy hitting her hard "I have powers!" Valerie excitedly shouted "Wahoo!". She could feel magic flowing through her, her anger and belief must have unlocked it. Anger was certainlly a mood she hated but knew that she needed to believe in herself. Something that Head Mistress Faragonda had mentioned and Roxy also. She held her pendant again and quietly whispered to it "Thank you Bike!".

Valerie turned to face the girls who were crowding around the knocked out Griselda and Wizgiz, "How dare you!" Darcy yells while getting up from the floor "Humans are not ment to have powers!". The witch then summonds a powerful spell and aims towards Valerie. "Professor watch out!" DA, Keesha, Phoebe and Wanda cry but it was too late, Valerie was shot down by Darcy's magic causing her to be knocked out cold too!

"Ooooooo its like ten pin bowling! 3 pins gone 4 left!" Darcy says, the girls were now crowded around Valerie's life-less body in shock and fear "Is she...dead?" Phoebe nervously whispers, "Let me feel a pulse!" DA says as she places two fingers on the side of Valerie's neck and then her wrist "Very faint!" DA nervously tells Phoebe and the other two. "What are we gonna do? What are we gonna do?" shouts Wanda, "I suggest we run for it!" Keesha suggests.

"We cannot leave Valerie and the other teachers here!" Phoebe adds, "Ah hello! Your not paying attention to me! Hello beautiful witch here!" Darcy then yells towards the group while having her arms in the air with purple coloured magic spawning from her hands. The four girls then couldn't help notice Valerie pendant flashing and glowing. They had forgotten that her pendant was actually bike in disguise.

The all began to speak towards the pendant "Bike! Bike if you can hear us help us! We are in danger!". Darcy was beginning to get impatient and wonder who or what they were talking to "I always thought you humans were weird! I'm getting impatient now! Ethier you come with me outside or you suffer like what happened to your beloved Professor!" she informed them. "Bike, please help us!" the 4 girls continued to say together while placing all their hands on the pendant.

Suddenly, a burst of light appeared, causing Darcy to be blinded by the light "HA? What's happening?" she shouted but no one responded. She wasn't feeling like she was being attacked or anything but it made her interested. Darcy tried her best not to cover her eyes due to the brightness but thankfully it was over in seconds. While rubbing her eyes she was eager to know what had happened so she spoke "What was that!" but no one answered. Did one of her fellow sisters come and finish them off? That would have been unfair!

"Icy, Stormy! They were mine!" she shouted but she couldn't see Icy or Stormy nethier the humans all she saw in her presents were now 4 fairies huddled around Valerie's still life-less body. "This cannot be! I thought you were humans! I need to inform Icy and Stormy about this!" she says to herself thinking it was loud enough so Wanda, Keesha, DA and Phoebe could hear but they didn't even flinch. Darcy thought it was a good time to make a quick dash and escaped the room with no trouble. It was like they were frozen in time. DA, Keesha, Phoebe and Wanda had transformed into fairies!
