Poppy climbed on top of a flower, standing on one of the largest petals. "I really hope I can do it," she started singing as Sora finally caught up with her. "'Cause they're all depending on me. I know that I must leave the only home I've ever known, and brave the dangers of the forest, saving them before they're eaten. I mean, how hard can that be?"
The flower petal broke, causing Poppy, Sora, and Goofy to fall, Donald catching himself with his wings. "Aah!" Sora and Goofy screamed while Poppy attached her hair to the ground, created stairs, flipped herself around on it, and began walking down. Sora and Goofy landed on the last two, comfortably. Sora dusted himself off, laughed awkwardly, and walked off Poppy's hair, picking up Goofy as he did so. Donald floated down to them and landed of Sora's head.
"Looking up at a sunny sky, so shiny and blue and there's a butterfly. Well isn't that a super fantastic sign-"
Poppy's singing was cut short as creatures, gradually getting larger, ate each other, each deadlier than the last. The chain ended on a red flower, one that nearly looks like the Heartless from before, which breathed fire, and inhaled the ashes of the burned creature. Poppy smiled awkwardly, Goofy and Donald stood stiff, while Sora straightened. "It's gonna be a fantastic day..." Poppy finished, awkwardly smiling, sidling to the right of the flower, Sora following her, slowly.
"Such marvelousness that it's gonna bring," Poppy started again.
"I don't think 'marvelousness' is a word," Sora stated.
"I got a pocket full of songs that I'm gonna sing, and I'm ready to take on anything. Hooray! Some super fun surprise around each corner!" Poppy started swinging on a large, orange, knitted looking object hanging from a tree. "Uhh...Poppy?" Sora tried. She began sliding down the object. "Poppy!" Sora called, running after her, until he slipped and began sliding down as well.
"Just riding on a rainbow, I'm gonna be okay!" Poppy continued, ignoring Sora's warnings. "Hey! I'm not giving up today!" A snake's head popped out from under a large chunk of its body and began chomping at the group. Donald kept shooting it with fireballs, which aggravated it, causing it to move faster. "Poppy! Run!" Sora cried.
"There's nothing getting in my way! And if you knock, knock me over, I will get back up again! Oh, if something goes a little wrong, well you can go ahead and bring it on! 'Cause if you knock, knock me over, I will get back up again. Woah, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Get back up again. Woah, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, aah!" she screamed as she fell from the snake's body.
Poppy used her hair to save her again, along with Sora and Goofy, and began walking again. "I'm marching along, I've got confidence." The area around them froze, almost instantly, giant snowflakes falling from the sky. "It's times like this I w-w-w-wish I didn't grow up on an i-i-i-island," Sora shivered.
"I'm cooler than a pack of peppermints, and I haven't been this excited since-" They walked through a windy field, the thorns in Poppy's hair being pushed through farther. "I can't remember when!" she yelled.
"I'm off on this remarkable adventure. Just riding on a rainbow." Poppy stopped on the mouth of a fly trap, slowly closing it's mouth over her. "What if it's all a big mistake? What if it's more than I can take?"
"Poppy!" Sora yelled from another flower with its mouth closed.
"No!" she bust the mouth open. "I can't think that way 'cause I know that I'm really, really, really gonna be okay! Hey! I'm not giving up today!" Poppy stopped in front of a large plant hosting blue berries. She pulled one off and popped it into her mouth. Sora pulled one off. "Hey, do you think we can use this to make some food?" Sora asked.
"No," Donald said.
"How about a souvenir then?" Donald smacked the berry out of his hand. Goofy and Sora stared at the berry as it splattered on the floor. "Guess not," Goofy stated.
Blue dots started appearing on Poppy's body, causing her to inflate. She turned into a round ball with blue dots. Sora, Donald and Goofy screamed. "There's nothing getting in my way!" Poppy began rolling down the hill. "Poppy!" Sora cried. "Wait up!"
"And if you knock, knock me over, I will get back up again. Oh, if something goes a little wrong, then you can go ahead and bring it on! 'Cause if you knock, knock me over, I will get back up again."
Poppy fell down a cliff and into some spider webs. "Poppy! I'm coming!" Sora cried. He turned a different way down the hill. "Woah, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Get back up again. Woah, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. And if you knock, knock me over, knock, knock me over, I...will...get back up again." Her voice gave out at the last bit of the song before she fainted, sticking out her tongue.
"Poppy! Hang in there!" Sora cried. He pushed his way through bushed, getting poked by a few leaves.
