"So this is E-Rantel huh?,it's definitely a lot more impressive up close then from a screen" said lyria with a whistle.
Currently we managed to arrive to E-Rantel after several hours of walking through the Forest of Tob and I gotta admit it's certainly something else to actually walk through a Middle Ages era kingdom.
Before our departure we managed to agreed on what our team name was and our background story. On top of that we also came up the plot of one of many Arcs to have fun and give this world a interesting story that may or may not have some unforeseen consequences.
Firstly our Team Name was the Sapphire Stars as a homage to Monster Hunter World and we each have different backstories. Our main one however is that we're from a Isolated collection of islands that just recently decided to send us out to explore more of the outside world. That original but honestly it's better than nothing I suppose.
Secondly, the Plot we made for our 1st Arc was going to be part of a bigger chain of events we filed as "The Remergence of a Prehistoric Old Crisis" or "Ragnarok". We decided to use the Qurios for this to create a mysterious occurrence going on in that monsters and animals of all variety are suddenly dying or going berserk. That's not all we had 3 additional Clones I named "Vert", "Frodo" and "Chara" to start spawning or transform into monsters in different locations ontop of spreading the Qurios.
Not only that, I also had them to create both a base and old "Ruins" of an Ancient Past all but forgotten using their powers and NPCs to help in the process which will take a while for that to finish but we got time.
Speaking of NPCs, it turns out we can model them however we like such as giving them battle damage, giving them humanoid forms to make them more..appealing I suppose and akter their looks to our liking. Kinda like Yggdrasil where players can create their own NPCs and all that shit.
"We're getting quite a number of eyes on us…" I heard Joshua mutter quietly to us and he was right.
The people of E-Rantel were eyeing us in curiosity due to our armor and weapons which I honestly expected.
"Hey check them out"
"What kind of Armor is that? I've never seen anything like it! Even their weapons look unusual!"
"Yeah it's pretty intriguing and expensive looking.."
"I'll say,check out the armor of those beauties,they're smoking hot!"
And needless to say we got a BUNCH of comments from the bystanders, not that we mind as it's basically our goal to build up a reputation in both looks and skill.
"Just smile and wave people,just smile and wave" I said with a smile to my team
"Yeah whatever" hissed Noir as she was both uncomfortable and frankly annoyed by some of the comments on her looks as she kept close to Joshua almost like a cat much to my and Lyria's amusement.
Brita POV
'Goddamn it!!'
I raised my fist and slam it on the table in anger and annoyance at my current situation.
'After all that I STILL don't have enough to buy myself a freaking potion! UGH!!...weeks of effort for nothing, damn shitty Guild masters giving me shitty quests' I couldn't help but cry my heart out a bit, but honestly it couldn't be helped as currently I'm by myself especially after my last team got sent to the freaking heaven gates by a group of trolls that ambushed us.
I sighed until I heard people muttering about something, deciding to let my curiosity get the better of me. I turned to look and was greeted by the source of everyone's mutters.
A group of 4 individuals have entered the Adventurer's Guild wearing armor and weapons that looked both amazing yet uncanny in some places. There's also the fact the 4 of them looked unique from one another
The 1st guy was a tall and bulky,his armor was mostly a dark gray mixed with light blue and white fur which honestly made him look like he's a sort of winter based creature as the the forearm, shoulder, and leg armor including the helmet(which honestly looks like a monster) help cement that. Not to mention he's wielded a very LARGE blade on his back which I'm surprised he can carry but then again that's not too surprising.
The 2nd guy looked like a knight if they had added Draconic scales to their armor and I find the looks rather appealing and cool with the silver mixed with the red-black scales all over his body. He also carried a large long blade on his back with the same scales. Besides that just by looking at him I can tell he's the leader of that group
Now the girls in the group looked really beautiful and honestly I was bit scandalized by how revealing their armor Is.
The 1st Female had long black hair,gray eyes and really revealing clothing(I refuse to call that armor!) As it only covered her chest,shoulders and private area with her pants being opened up to reveal her smooth thighs and her abdomen was covered in a weird net like clothing which still showed off her average yet still attractive figure. What surprised me was that giant bow on her back that was twice her height and almost as wide as she is, how is she carrying that I shudder to know.
The 2nd female was just a man's wet dream honestly, while she had a good amount of vibrate red armor and clothing to cover herself, there was still a good amount of skin of certain spots that made the males want to see more. Especially since her clothes Is apparently skin tight that her lovely shape rear is-I mean body! Yes,her body was really curved and alluring in every sense of the word. As for her weapons them seem like a pair of blades that honestly looked like butcher blades, But if there is one thing I could say.
"They look cool…"
I saw the group go to the guild desk and were apparently signing up to be adventurers.
'How about that, more people to fill in those who die only for them to die too. the world sure is cruel sometimes' that was a cold hard truth. Sometimes young adventurers who sign up for the guild for fame and glory end up dead just days later for thinking nothing can stop them. I guess I'm no different as I mostly just joined for the money and experience I suppose.
It wouldn't be long until they received their copper plates and decided to do a quest only to end up with..
"I'm sorry,but this quest is becoming very dangerous that it'd requested that it's to turn into a iron rank mission"
"Eh? But it's still Copper rank, we can take it. Can't give us a shot?"
"I'm sorry but we can't let more copper ranks go to their deaths for a reward of 15 gold-"
'15 Gold?!'
If I had that much I could have enough to buy myself a potion and then some! Maybe…I should give the rookies a bit of help~.
I got up from my chair and head over to them with a smile on my face
"but-"
"I'll go with them" I said out loud to catch their attention
"Miss Brita?"
"You heard me,I'll help them out with the mission, besides I got nothing else to do and my old team is dead. Might aswell help the rookies here as a sort of..learning experience" I could honestly tell the group was surprised by my action to help them as the guild girl sighs
"very well, I pray for your safety and return then"
"We'll be fine" I turn to the red knight with a smirk, at least this is gonna be a win-win situation.
Carmine POV:
Well…This is definitely awkward. Certainly didn't expect to meet Brita this early, though that makes me wonder why she's here alone? and why was she helping us? My mind was filled with alot of questions that needed answers for but decided to leave it for later.
Removing my helmet and holding under my arm and raised my hand to Brita to greet her with a gentle smile on my face.
"Hello Ms.Brita, I'm Carmine. Pleasure to meet you" i tried to sound normal and calm at least as to make a good 1st impression, what I didn't expect was for her and alot of others females to blush slightly upon looking at my face.
