AA (Author Afterword): This is how this work, started by me at the beginning of 2022, is coming to an end, emerging from the ashes of my other, and from this point completely irrelevant Fic. Despite everything, it was a total of over 24 months of work, pain, blood, sweat, tears and effort, but also a time of great satisfaction with what I managed to create, even if it is something far from perfect.

On the other hand, the original Star Wars, the so-called Old Trilogy, also left much to be desired at the time of its premiere, and it can be criticized for many things, such as re-creativeness, but it did not prevent this work of culture from becoming - dare I use this word - something definitely more.

As for the presented content, there were many inspirations to write them all in this particular way: other cultural creations, scientific works, history, philosophy, but above all, my own thoughts. First of all, my belief in the falsity of the postulate of the existence of free will. By writing this, I only confirmed my belief that the decisions we make in life are only the result - or perhaps rather a result of primary socialization, genes passed on to us and general experiences from childhood and late adolescence. It is therefore difficult to recognize human beings as truly intellectually free, or rather as being - in one way or another - subordinate to the group, the collective and the way the collective shapes us.

What is the concept of free will and where does it come from? This is - I think, and I think many will agree - an empty and false definition, purely biblical, which was intended to create any basis for reward and punishment, and which - especially when mixed with the concept of morality - provide an opportunity to exalt oneself above others. Seeing ourselves as more free and moral than others is extremely human and should not surprise anyone that we have been able to develop something like this.

Nevertheless, this is my personal opinion and should not affect the assessment of my work, because I prepared it as a completely impartial opinion and in terms of the events presented. I do not intend to show off any worldview, especially if it would be as clumsy and clumsy as in the case of many contemporary works of culture, which give the impression that they were made by intellectually limited people.

However, regarding what was presented, I will not give you any answers or explanations here either, leaving the interpretations to you. Therefore, I will not answer why exactly C.C. she gave Geass to Lucius and Monica. However, considering her character presented in the series, I will give you a few questions that you will have to answer for yourself: were you sure Marianne asked C.C. for this? Was it a matter of the green-haired woman's whim? Or maybe Marianne was just asking C.C. about taking care of her boys but she left a lot of room for interpretation in this matter, which the green-haired girl decided to use? Which of these options is true - if any - is up to you.

As for the main protagonist, some may find it strange that as the story goes on, Lucius may seem more and more villainous, or even a bit pathetic. It was a deliberate attempt on my part to present, as the story goes on, more and more of the flaws that Lucius has acquired in the process of his socialization and how many wounds on his soul still remain or have accumulated. That's all I'll say on this matter, I'll leave the rest to your guesses.

As for Geass for both lovers, it may seem like plot armor, but that was not my intention. Truth be told, while Geass was supposed to be something special for the two of them, it was not as drastic and powerful as Lelouch's or the Emperor's, but still had a significant impact on the balance of power. In Monica's case, it was supposed to be an expression of her desire to establish a full-fledged bond with Lucius in such a way that they would be able to share their feelings and come closer to a state of unity. This was intended to deepen the relationship between the two lovers even further. In the Luc's case, it was intended to be an expression of his greatest ambition to leave a great legacy, or more precisely, an auxiliary tool.

The last issue concerns the potential continuation of the story about the fate of Prince Lucius vi Britannia. Even though I have a general direction in mind, I don't want to continue because I feel tired of it all, not to mention overwhelmed. So don't count on this story to be continued. Regardless, I will leave two possible sequel scenarios for you and if anyone wants, feel free to use them.

In the first case, the sequel was to be called 'Clash of Brothers' and tell the story of the clash between Lucius and Lelouch in Area 11, as a chessboard. This was my initial plan to repeat canon with few new additions or changes to details. In a word, something average and rather new.

The second case, which is a concept that I have recently become more convinced about, is 'Throne of Europe'. The beginning was supposed to take place at the end of R1, during the confrontation in the cave, joined by Lucius, absolutely furious after Euphemi's death and deciding to send his brother back to the Emperor without a bullet to the head, solely because of Suzaku's words of reason. The story would continue to focus on the Britannian invasion of Europe, with Lucius as commander-in-chief of the invasion force, all leading up to his becoming Emperor of the Old Continent. During this long journey, certain details of the activities of the Purple Prince in Area 11 would be revealed time and time again. Meanwhile, side plots - but very important - were to be the arms race and the political circus that would result from such a development, all presented from many angles. perspectives of many different people on both sides of the war. In this case, the main characters would be Lucius and Leila.

However, as I mentioned earlier, I don't have the will or mental strength to continue, so I'm leaving it for you.

As for me, I am satisfied with this journey, which lasted 2 years and over a month. It was often not easy for me to write, but I am more than happy with the point I have reached and I have no regrets, especially since I have developed as a writer in the meantime.

I am also more than happy for your numerous reviews or messages. It was nice to create something that I always wanted, that is, a long story about the OC as a Britannian Prince, who, however, does not try to change what he has sent by force, but instead to take power and bend the national values of the empire to his will.

That's all I have to say to you, I wish you all the best and see you in the future.
