~~Hello, readers, I'm back with a new chapter.

I don't own anything from Pokémon or Futurama.

Only my original characters belong to me.~~

It was now early morning in the Unova Region.

Sioku had just been captured and taken to a secret laboratory by two evil scientists named Dr. Colress and Aldith.

They strapped Sioku to a steel table and extracted her blood using one of their machines.

Sioku remained unconscious on the table with electrodes stuck to her chest and an oxygen mask over her face.

Her Flareon had snuck into the lab while both scientists were distracted in order to stay close to the girl.

Flareon crawled out of her hiding spot and moved slowly toward the table.

She placed one of her front paws on Sioku's shoulder.

Sioku lay motionless without a response.

Flareon hopped onto the table and sat next to Sioku.

Noticing the restraints over Sioku's body, Flareon let out all her built up anger by smashing each metal clip to pieces using iron tail.

The straps fell off one by one.

Sioku's eyes fluttered open as she heard the loud noises.

Her ears were once again met by quiet beeping.

A relieved smile formed on Sioku's lips as she noticed that her body was no longer restrained.

She gazed up at the Pokemon sitting beside her.

"Flareon... did you... rescue me?" whispered the girl.

The fox nuzzled her face against Sioku's cheek.

Sioku sat up carefully and put her arm around Flareon for support.

A wave of dizziness crashed into the girl, causing her to weakly lean on Flareon.

She then lightly pealed the electrodes off her chest before removing the mask from her face.

"We need to get out of here," she said.

Flareon wagged her fluffy tail against Sioku's back.

Sioku swung her legs over the side of the table.

Before the friends could move, a bright light suddenly shrouded Sioku.

Sioku held Flareon close to her as she looked up.

"What could that be? Where did it come from?" she thought.

She spotted a circular portal hovering above her head.

"This is our opportunity to escape, Flareon," said Sioku with a hopeful smile.

Flareon used psychic to hoist her trainer up toward the portal.

A vortex of magical energy swirled around the two and lifted them into the air.

The portal carried Sioku and Flareon through the sky.

Sioku closed her eyes tightly as a gust of wind pressed against her.

They eventually descended in an outdoor area.

Sioku felt herself slowly land in a patch of thick grass by a chain-link fence.

She shielded her eyes from the sun's brightness.

A light breeze brushed against her face.

Flareon curiously explored the surrounding area while sniffing around.

The fox's ears perked up as she heard faint sounds coming from a dumpster nearby.

Flareon ran to the dumpster while growling fiercely.

Opening her eyes, Sioku admired a few trees growing near the fence.

"Come over here, Flareon," she commanded.

Flareon continued to growl as she ran back to Sioku.

"What are you growling at?" asked Sioku as she sat up.

Sioku leaned against the fence while breathing heavily.

She felt her body burn up from the inside.

The two waited patiently as Flareon kept a sharp eye on the dumpster.

"Do you think someone is in there, Flareon?" asked Sioku.

Flareon panted as she fanned Sioku with her tail.

Sioku petted the fox's head in return.

A brief period of silence passed by.

Suddenly, a mysterious figure made itself visible inside the dumpster.

Sioku gasped in awe when she saw the outline of a creature.

A spark of curiosity lit up inside the teen, making her forget about everything for a moment.

"Wo... Flareon, what is that?" she wondered out loud.

Flareon remained still and stared at the creature.

Without thinking, Sioku climbed onto Flareon's back and held her fur collar tight.

"Let's go," she urged quietly.

Flareon obeyed Sioku's command and trotted toward the dumpster.

Sioku gasped deeply as she spotted a humanoid crustacean leaning against the dumpster's edge.

A feeling of happiness washed over her.

The teen's heart nearly skipped a beat.

She put a hand to her cheek and smiled brightly.

"I can't wait to meet this creature. Is it going to come out?" Sioku thought eagerly.

Much to Sioku's surprise, the creature climbed over the dumpster's edge and down the side.

Sioku carefully adjusted her posture to get a closer look.

Flareon backed away in fear as the creature landed on the ground.

"It's okay, Flareon, the creature won't hurt you. It seems harmless," Sioku assured.

Sioku tugged Flareon's fur gently, causing them to slowly move forward.

"Pardon me, mis, my name is Dr. John Zoidberg. I am a physician at Planet Express. Did you just move to the city?" the creature greeted.

The heavy accent in Zoidberg's voice caut Sioku's ear, causing her to blush.

Sioku gripped Flareon's fur collar tighter with excitement as she paused.

Her heart began to race in a joyful way.

Instead of answering Zoidberg's question, she smiled at him spellbound.

"Mis, are you all right?" asked Zoidberg concerned.

Sioku shyly met the lobster's gaze.

"Yes... Dr. Zoidberg, I'm okay. My name is Sioku Marie, and I am a Pokemon trainer from Unova. Unova is a region in the Pokemon world. A portal transported me to this place after I got captured by an evil scientist. Dr. Colress and his assistant strapped me to a cold, steel table before they extracted tubes of my blood with a machine. Fortunately, my Flareon set me free. Then we escaped the lab through a portal," she explained.

"Sioku, why would those scientists want your blood?" Zoidberg inquired.

"I was born with a special healing ability called cell activation. It allows me to heal a person or animal's wound by touching and focusing my energy on them. Dr. Colress and Aldith never told me what they were going to use my blood for," Sioku answered apprehensively.

With a saddened expression, Zoidberg stepped closer to the girl as he took in her words.

"I'm glad you're here, Sioku. You didn't deserve to go through any of that. Those maniacs won't hurt you anymore while I'm around," he said softly.

Sioku felt a sense of security coming from his pleasant aura.

"Thank you, Dr. Zoidberg," she whispered passionately.

"Dr. Zoidberg, what is Planet Express?" added Sioku curiously.

"Planet Express is the delivery company that I work at. There are a few employees who go on adventures while delivering things to other planets," he answered.

"That sounds like fun," Sioku commented.

"Your fox is adorable, Sioku," said Zoidberg as he stared at Flareon.

"Thank you, sir, Flareon is a fire type Pokemon. I also have a water and normal type Pokemon with me. Pokemon are magical creatures with special powers such as water, fire, grass, and more. Many Pokemon can evolve into bigger versions of themselves. Some people keep Pokemon as pets while others train them to compete in Pokemon battles and contests. I've had my Flareon since it was an Eevee," Sioku informed.

"May I see both of your other Pokemon?" asked Zoidberg enthusiastically.

"I'd love to let you meet them," answered Sioku with a joyful grin.

A second wave of dizziness crashed into the girl as she struggled to fight her illness.

Her severely weakened body throbbed in agony.

As she dismounted from Flareon's back, Sioku immediately lost her balance and fell over.

"No! Sioku!" cried Zoidberg as he rushed to her side.

Sioku allowed exhaustion to take hold and pull her into the dark void once again.

He and a worried Flareon sat down by the motionless girl.

Zoidberg placed a claw on the teen's shoulder and shook her gently.

"Sioku, can you hear me? Sioku!" the lobster called out.

He was only met with silence.

~Dream~

Sioku found herself bound to the steel table in Dr. Colress' medical lab.

She had multiple wires attached to her body and a mask over her face.

~In The Present~

The girl began to shiver in her sleep.

Flareon attempted to wake Sioku up by jumping on her.

The fox whimpered while nudging Sioku's face with her nose.

There was no response from her trainer.

With a distraught expression, Zoidberg laid his head on Sioku's chest.

"Please wake up, Sioku," he pleaded.

The lobster continued to watch over Sioku, hoping her condition would improve.

Flareon laid down and curled up next to her trainer.

~Dream~

Aldith retrieved a small, metal device from her shoulder bag.

She held the tip of it against Sioku's neck.

Without warning, Aldith pressed a button on her device which stunned Sioku with volts of electricity.

Sioku convulsed violently on the table.

~In The Present~

Moments later, Sioku began to convulse in her sleep.

Flareon and Zoidberg simultaneously jumped in fear.

"Sioku! I'm right here! Please come back to me!" shouted Zoidberg.

The girl twitched in response to Zoidberg's voice.

"Sioku, I only want to help you. Please let my voice bring you back," he added desperately.

In the midst of all the chaos, a new male voice entered the space. "Hey, Zoidberg, why are you yelling? Is there an emergency?"

Zoidberg looked away from Sioku to find a metal robot walking toward him from behind.

He felt relieved to see one of his friends.

"Hey, Zoidberg, why didn't you answer my..." said the robot with a sudden pause.

He pointed down at Sioku and asked. "Why is this human laying on the ground? Is she sick?"

"Good morning, Bender, I'm so glad to see you. This young lady just collapsed while we were talking, and I can't wake her up. I found her sitting in the grass outside my dumpster. She came here from a different world through a portal," Zoidberg explained.

"I don't think I could do anything to help, but you can take her to the office. The professor might be able to take care of her. Speaking of Professor Farnsworth, he sent me out here to find you. You should have been at work a long time ago," the robot responded.

"That's a great idea, Bender," added Zoidberg in a hopeful tone of voice.

"Hold on, Zoidberg, I'm coming with you. Fry and Leela are waiting for me," Bender said suddenly.

Bender's voice reached Sioku's ears, and she slowly started to regain consciousness.

The exhausted girl perked up as she opened her eyes.

Flareon happily licked Sioku's face.

Sioku petted Flareon's back in return.

A sense of relief washed over Zoidberg as he watched the girl wake up.

"Sioku, this is Dr. Zoidberg talking to you. Are you all right?" he said smoothly.

A brief period of silence passed by.

"Dr. Zoidberg... Flareon... what's going on?" muttered Sioku wearily.

"You collapsed a few minutes ago," answered Zoidberg as he pulled her close.

Sioku snuggled into him for comfort.

"I'm probably still weak from the blood loss. I didn't mean to scare you, Dr. Zoidberg," she added remorsefully.

Zoidberg lightly nuzzled Sioku's neck.

"That's okay, Sioku, I was just worried about you. I'm glad to hear you talking to me," the lobster responded calmly.

Sioku wrapped her arms around Zoidberg in a loving way and held him tight.

All of her worries melted away one by one.

"Thank you for staying by my side, Dr. Zoidberg. You saved me," she whispered.

"I'll never let harm come to you, Sioku," he whispered in her ear.

Flareon sat next to Sioku and watched her interaction with Zoidberg.

"Sioku, why were you seizing in your sleep?" asked Zoidberg.

"I had a flashback about being in Dr. Colress' captivity," answered Sioku timidly.

Zoidberg affectionately leaned his head against hers.

In that moment, Sioku felt safe and secure in her new friend's warm embrace.

"Dr. Zoidberg, who were you talking to before I woke up?" Sioku asked curiously.

Zoidberg gently helped Sioku up into a sitting position.

"Sioku, this robot right here is my friend. His name is Bender," he answered.

"Hello, Bender, my name is Sioku. I'm pleased to meet you," said Sioku as she looked at the robot.

"I'm glad to meet you too, Sioku. Zoidberg and I would be happy to introduce you to the rest of our crew," replied Bender.

Sioku let out a dreamy sigh as she listened to Bender's voice.

"I would love that," she said with a smile.

Flareon stood up and shook off.

Dirt and grass flew from her fur.

"You're going to need a bath, Flareon," said Sioku before she laughed.

Zoidberg and Sioku carefully released each other.

"Shall we get going?" asked Bender.

"Yes, sir," responded Sioku with a yawn.

Before they could proceed, Oshawott emerged from its Pokeball and climbed out of Sioku's bag.

The happy sea otter Pokemon ran circles around Sioku and Flareon.

Sioku's cheeks turned bright red with embarrassment.

"Oshawott! What are you doing out of your Pokeball?" she shouted sternly.

Oshawott stopped and bowed its head sadly.

"What the heck is that?" wondered Bender as he looked down at Oshawott.

"It's one of my Pokemon," answered Sioku with a disappointed sigh.

"That little sea otter is so adorable," commented Zoidberg.

"I agree, but I didn't allow this little one to come out of its Pokeball. My Oshawott has a bad habit of coming out when it's not supposed to," the teen explained with a frown.

Sioku opened up Oshawott's Pokeball and commanded. "Oshawott, return."

Oshawott reluctantly let itself get pulled inside the ball.

A heavy sigh escaped Sioku as she placed Oshawott's Pokeball back in her bag.

"I apologize for my Pokemon's behavior," said Sioku remorsefully

"No need to worry, Sioku," assured Zoidberg.

"Your creature has a lot of energy," added Bender.

Sioku grabbed Flareon's fur collar, then pulled herself onto the fox's back.

"I'll stay right by your side for support," offered Zoidberg.

"Thank you very much, Dr. Zoidberg," responded Sioku while blushing.

Bender giggled at the sight of Sioku's pink cheeks.

"Awe, you two are so cute together. Zoidberg has finally found somebody," he commented.

An air of awkward silence filled the space, causing Sioku's face to heat up.

"What? Bender, it's not like that. Zoidberg and I just met," she protested.

The robot only laughed harder at Sioku's response.

He then led Zoidberg, Flareon, and Sioku toward a building.

Sioku carefully dismounted from Flareon's back while still holding onto her fur collar.

Zoidberg stood by Sioku's other side to prevent her from falling over.

Sioku and Zoidberg followed behind Bender as they entered the building.

An elderly man wearing a lab coat and thick glasses immediately greeted them in the hall.

His eyes lit up with joy when he saw Sioku standing before him.

"Hello, you two, who are your new friends?" he greeted while pointing at Sioku and Flareon.

Sioku's expression instantly changed from disappointed to cheerful as she listened to the man's voice.

"Wow... he sounds dreamy," she thought.

Zoidberg gently pulled Sioku and Flareon forward.

"Professor Farnsworth, this young lady is Sioku Marie. She also has a loyal fox. I met them earlier this morning," he answered happily.

"Zoidberg and Sioku like each other," Bender teased.

"That's enough, Bender," responded Zoidberg sternly.

"I'm going to join Fry and Leela," Bender added before moving down a separate hallway.

The old man, now known as Professor Farnsworth, stopped in front of Sioku.

Sioku's legs trembled as she leaned against Flareon.

"Are you all right, mis?" asked the professor.

Sioku gave a nod in response.

She didn't want to accidentally alarm the professor.

"Good morning, sir," she greeted shyly.

"Same to you, Sioku, my name is Hubert Farnsworth. What brings you to Planet express?" the professor replied.

"A portal transported me here early this morning," answered Sioku.

"That's quite interesting," the old man added.

Before their conversation could continue, Flareon rushed toward the professor while wagging her tail wildly.

She then stood on her hind legs and rested her front paws on his shoulders.

The professor hugged Flareon in return.

"I'm glad to meet you too," he said.

"Your fox really likes Professor Farnsworth, Sioku," Zoidberg pointed out.

"Flareon loves people," Sioku responded briefly.

Sioku watched the joyful scene while trying to stay balanced.

She stepped slowly toward the professor and Flareon.

Her legs shook and throbbed with every step.

She tried to slow down her racing heart by breathing deeply.

"I'm still right here, Sioku. Let me know if you need any assistance," said Zoidberg as he stood behind her.

Sioku gave a small smile in return.

She used the sound of his voice as a distraction from her weakness.

"Come here, Flareon," she commanded.

Flareon lowered herself to the ground, then returned to her trainer's side.

"Good girl," Sioku praised as she patted the fox's head.

Flareon nuzzled Sioku's arm in return.

"Your creature is very affectionate, Sioku," commented Hubert.

"Flareon really likes you," Sioku replied.

Sioku's eyes widened when she noticed the professor's lab coat.

Her heartbeat pounded in her chest.

Chills rapidly crawled up her spine.

She closed her eyes tightly as an oncoming flashback entered her mind.

~Flashback to The Medical Lab~

Bound to the table, Sioku watched Dr. Colress and Aldith attach tubes and needles to both machines on each side.

Dr. Colress then inserted the needles into Sioku's arms.

Aldith powered up both machines by flipping their levers.

Sioku's blood was painfully extracted from her veins.

~End Flashback~

Sioku gasped deeply as she dropped to her knees.

She sank to the ground while panting heavily.

"Sioku!" shouted Zoidberg and the professor in unison.

Wearing concerned expressions, they surrounded her in a protective manner.

Flareon affectionately nuzzled Sioku's shoulder.

The girl remained still and covered her face.

Frightened whimpers escaped Sioku as she shivered.

"Dr. Zoidberg, why is your friend acting this way?" asked Hubert.

"Sioku probably had a panic attack. She's been put through trauma before I met her," answered Zoidberg quietly.

Hubert's face saddened at that.

"Is there anything we can do to help her?" he asked.

"We need to give Sioku time to calm down," advised Zoidberg.

"All right," Hubert agreed.

A concerned Zoidberg sat on the floor next to Sioku.

"You won't go through this alone, Sioku. We'll be here when you come back to us," he said smoothly.

A long period of silence passed by.

Sioku sat up straight and looked around wearily.

You don't have to worry, Sioku, the Planet Express head quarters is a safe place. My employees and I will protect you from harm," Hubert reassured.

Sioku wrapped her arms around Flareon, then buried her face into the Pokemon's fur.

She sensed Zoidberg's aura and started to relax a bit.

"Sioku, can you talk to us?" asked the professor.

"You can tell us anything," added Zoidberg.

Sioku lifted her head slowly.

"Professor Farnsworth... Dr. Zoidberg... I'm sorry for scaring you. I didn't mean to make you guys worry about me," she said sadly.

Hubert sat down behind Sioku, then carefully pulled her into a hug.

"You don't have to apologize for anything. Dr. Zoidberg and I want to be here for you," he replied with love.

The soothing sound of Hubert's voice helped Sioku calm down almost instantly.

Her heart rate returned to a normal rhythm.

"Sioku, what were you afraid of?" asked Hubert.

"I freaked out when I saw your lab coat. Professor Farnsworth, are you... a scientist?" the teen responded hesitantly.

Hubert put a hand on Sioku's shoulder and answered. "Yes, but I use my scientific knowledge for inventions. I would never use you as a test subject."

"That's good, and I'm glad I met you. You helped Dr. Zoidberg free me from a panic attack," Sioku added.

"Would you mind telling me what happened before you arrived?" asked Hubert.

"I was healing an injured Pokemon when a strange woman randomly came up to me. The woman complemented my cell activation ability before she walked away. Then she barged into my room at the Pokemon center that night. I defeated her in a battle, but she wouldn't leave my room. One of her Pokemon restrained me, and I was taken to the woman's house. That's where I figured out the woman's name, Aldith. An evil mail scientist named Dr. Colress led Aldith and me to a laboratory hidden inside his bedroom. Aldith strapped me to a steel table. Dr. Colress placed a mask over my face and electrodes on my chest. I watched him attach tubes and needles to a couple of weird machines. Aldith shocked me with her stun gun after I talked back to Dr. Colress. Dr. Colress inserted the needles in my arms. As soon as Aldith powered up those machines, my blood was painfully extracted until six glass bottles had been filled up. Flareon came out of her hiding spot after the scientists left. This portal randomly appeared above my head, and Flareon helped me escape. We landed outside near a dumpster. That's where Flareon and I met Dr. Zoidberg," Sioku explained.

Hubert and Zoidberg stared at each other, both completely stunned.

"Sioku... I cannot believe that anyone would do something so horrible to you. You should never be used as an experiment," said Hubert sympathetically.

"A wonderful gift like yours needs to be protected," stated Zoidberg.

Sioku smiled as she took in their kind words.

"I appreciate both of your love and support. I am honored to call you two my friends," she replied graciously.

Zoidberg nuzzled Sioku's arm in return.

Sioku released Flareon before returning Hubert's embrace.

She snuggled against his shoulder for comfort.

Flareon sat beside Hubert to observe his interaction with her trainer.

"I'll take good care of Sioku," he assured.

The professor held Sioku close and stroked her hair.

Sioku closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep in his arms.

Zoidberg stared at Sioku with an adoring expression.

"She looks so peaceful with you, Professor," he said.

"Thanks for letting me help you look after her," Hubert replied softly.

"Sioku needs all the help she could get," Zoidberg.

Hubert stood up while still holding Sioku.

Sioku twitched in response to his movement.

Hubert lovingly tightened his hold on her.

"Dr. Zoidberg, I'm taking her to my office. Please feel free to come with me," he said.

"I'll make sure the fox stays with her," Zoidberg replied.

"That would be much appreciated," Hubert added.

Flareon picked up Sioku's bag and stood beside Zoidberg.

Hubert led Zoidberg and Flareon down the corridor toward a room in the back.

Zoidberg laughed at the sound of Flareon's nails tapping on the tile floor.

After unlocking the door, Hubert let Zoidberg lead Flareon into his room.

Flareon dropped Sioku's bag beside a chair, then started to explore the new area.

Zoidberg watched Flareon as she sniffed around the place.

He seemed entertained by her pet-like behavior.

After closing the door behind him, Hubert carried Sioku to a couch and sat down.

Flareon hopped onto the couch, then laid down beside Hubert.

"Sioku is all right," reassured Hubert as he ruffled Flareon's fur.

Zoidberg leaned against the sofa lost in thought.

He wanted to make sure that Sioku would sleep well.

"Pardon me, Professor, is Sioku going to be all right?" asked the lobster quietly.

"Yes, Dr. Zoidberg, she's in good hands. I'll know how to calm her down if she has a nightmare," Hubert assured.

Zoidberg laid his head on Flareon's back and closed his eyes.

Hubert continued to observe Sioku as she slept peacefully in his arms.
