As I began walking back in the direction of the Cullen's house, I used my rage to cover any other emotion, until I was back in my normal form. I would not freak out this time. I would not freak out because this time, I knew what was coming, and I was prepared. With my shaking hand, I rang the doorbell for the second time that day. The smallest of the vampires opened the door with a smile. "I knew you would be back!" She proclaimed excitedly, becoming me inside. The other vampires kept their distance, watching me curiously as I stepped inside. "You're here to see Edward?" She asked. His very name angered me, melting away the last of my nerves. "Yes," I said, anger flickering in my eyes. The quiet-looking honey-blonde looked up at me with curiosity. "He's in his room, down that hallway." She said. I nodded, my nerves seizing hold again as I walked into the large room. I was vaguely aware of the small one saying to the others, "Come on, this is going to be interesting!" When I walked in, Edward was already prepared for my entry, not even acting surprised as I walked in. "Who are you?" He asked me suspiciously. He looked dead. More dead than a vampire should look, I noted. "I'm Demi Swan, you may have heard of me from my sister," I said coldly. If possible, he looked even more dead than he already did, but I also saw a flash of recognition in his face. I had expected some big, intimidating, badass guy who was totally not sorry about what he'd done to Bella, not this pathetic mess of a vampire! I was going to have to edit my planned speech if he wasn't planning on any snarky retorts. "I think you know why I'm here." I tried. "Why?" He actually DARED to ask. "Why? Because one doesn't simply dump his girlfriend in the WOODS of all places, leaving her there overnight, where ANYTHING might happen to her, and then pack up his family and LEAVE and expect no one's gonna do anything about it!" Edward had a strange look on his face. "And I don't know all the details because she's too TRAMUTISED to tell me about it, but whatever you did to her, her heart isn't broken, it's DEAD!" My voice was rising, and I was actually shaking with anger. "Did you know that she wakes up screaming every single night? Or that she hasn't actually smiled in like a month?! Did you know that she talks about you in her sleep too? Did you even stop to THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WHERE DOING TO HER?!" Finally, Edward spoke. "I- I was just doing what was best for her." He stuttered, sounding so broken it made me want to punch him! He had no right to miss her! "What was BEST for her? How is taking a girl who's giving you nothing but all her love, and ditching her in a secluded place with no warning, going to help her?!" I shouted. He didn't respond. "HOW?!" I demanded. "I'm dangerous for her." He mumbled. "Maybe YOU think so, but I'm quite sure she doesn't agree with that!" I wish Jay had felt that way. Edward thought he was dangerous but Bella didn't, she just loved him anyway. I thought I was dangerous, and Jay did too. Edward was lucky to have someone like Bella love him. How could he just throw that away? "I'm also quite sure that it isn't any safer for her to be in the state she's in currently! You should have AT LEAST asked for her input on the situation! You're hurting her, not helping her! Any human should be able to see that, oh wait you're not one are you!" I was shocked at my own words, but I didn't really regret them. I was faintly aware of Alice gasping behind me. Thinking it was because of what I said, I ignored it, turning to Edward to say my final words. "Do you know how much other guys would give to have someone like Bella care about them this much? How could you just throw that away? How could you break someone so special? You don't even deserve her!" I spat. Seeing the look on Edward's face, I felt a teeny tiny micrometer of guilt before shoving it away. This was on him, I had no reason to feel guilty.

Cullen's POV (3rd person):

The four vampires were watching with interest from the hallway, particularly Rosalie and Emmett. "I like her," Rosalie proclaimed. "Me too. She's fierce." Emmett agreed. Suddenly, Alice gasped, clearly having a vision. Jasper shook her, worried at the look on her face, or maybe the emotions she was having. "Alice?" He muttered. She didn't move and didn't move and- just then, Demi walked out of the room furiously. Finally, Alice moved, crying out as she went limp in Jasper's arms. "Alice, are you okay? What did you see?" He asked. "It's Bella!" She gasped.

Demi's POV (1st person):

"Bella?" I asked. "What do you mean you 'saw' her?" I asked, alarmed. "She has visions of the future, she must have had one about Bella!" Jasper explained hurriedly. "Alice, what did you see?" He asked, more firmly this time. "There- there was this cliff a- and she- she jumped!" Alice sobbed. I gasped. "No, no she wouldn't!" I cried! "I have to go find her!" Alice cried, scrambling to her feet. "Maybe she hasn't done it yet, maybe-" Alice was gone in a heartbeat. Hearing the commotion, Edward came out of his room. "What's going- No, no!" He gasped. I looked at him in confusion. "He reads minds." Jasper quietly informed me. "I can't believe she- this is all my fault! I- I- I-" Edward stormed, pacing. "She didn't! There's no way- she wouldn't have! I mean, she was bad but not that bad!" I freaked, beginning to pace too! This went on for some time, Edward and I pacing, arguing back and forth about Bella and if she had committed suicide. AN: Yeah... not something you type every day...

"Call her!" I snapped finally. "What?" Edward asked. "Call her!" I said more fiercely. "I bet she'll pick up, she has to!" The stage of violently denying it was fading, turning into a hopeless feeling of acceptance that I really didn't want to face. Edward went over to the phone and dialed Bella's number. "This is Clarise Cullen, is Charlie home?" He asked. I didn't bother to wonder why he was pretending to be his adopted father because I realized my nails were starting to grow. AN: another sentence you don't type too often...

They turned red, along with the tips of my hair and surely my eyes. The Cullen's didn't seem to notice, and I assumed it was because they hadn't looked at me much during the time I had been there. The conversation was over quickly as the person on the other end hung up. Edward looked, if possible paler. "What did he say!" I demanded. "I don't know who it was! When I asked to speak to Charlie he- he said Charlie was at the funeral." Edward choked. There was a moment of shock, until everything in my brain finally clicked into place, and just like that, the stage of shock was over. That's when it hit me. It was true. Bella was gone. And it was all my fault. I shouldn't have let my rage consume me! I should've thought! If I had stayed, I could've stopped her, and everything would be okay! If I had been a better sister, I would've stayed instead of getting caught up in my revenge! Then the stage of crushing guilt gave way to one of horrible, horrible despair. She was gone. Bella, my whole world. I began to sway. My vision was blurring with tears. I was vaguely aware of Jasper and the girl whose name I didn't know gripping me by the arms and dragging me to the couch. I was shaking with sobs, unaware of everything around me. It was like losing Jay all over again, but worse because this time I wouldn't have anyone to turn to, and this time there was no chance of ever seeing her again. No Jay and no Bella. How would I survive? The world could be so cruel sometimes! Suddenly, through the tears, something reached me. Exhaustion. I was so tired I couldn't fight it, I didn't want to fight it! It would be so nice to just close my eyes on the world right now. Maybe sleep for a few eternities? I wasn't ready to face a world without Bella in it. I wasn't sure I'd ever be ready.

Cullen's POV (3rd person):

Rosalie, Emmett, and Jasper were on the couch, watching over Demi. Jasper was trying relentlessly to calm her down, but he couldn't seem to reach her. Her despair was too strong to feel any calm at this point. Finally, he tried exhaustion. This worked, and in a few minutes, she was asleep. That was the moment they realized that Edward wasn't with them. "Edward's gone!" Jasper gasped. "What?!" Rosalie cried. "I- I think I know where he's gone," Emmett said gravely. Just then, the phone rang. Jasper picked up. After a long pause, he came back to the others. "Who was it?" Emmett asked. "It was Alice." He said. "Bella is alive and they're going after Edward."

AN: Woohoo! Two chapters in a row! Also, the moment yall have been waiting for: Demi's Revenge! But there's more to the story...
