Here's my "What if" story for Danny and Lucifer. Now the beginning part of the story hasn't not changed. Danny and Jazz see the portal, Danny figures out where the on button is, Jazz goes to tell their parents, Danny hears a voice, steps in, and finally hits the on button. This will kick off to the white void where Danny meets Lucifer in the other story. This time, Archangel Michael gets to him before Lucifer. So, what changes in this version? Read to to find out!
Danny floated in mid-air, knocked out. However, his eyes opened as someone else floated above him. He noticed it was an older girl, a bit older than Jazz. She was wearing a white military suit, a white hat, and a large cross hanging on her. She also had black hair and blue eyes like him. She also had a ring over her head and two giant wings that disappeared as she kneed down to him.
"Easy. You're hurt." She said.
"Who..." He started to ask.
"Rest, Daniel. I'll explain soon." She said, placing her gloved hand on his chest.
"Hmm, it appears that half of your soul is gone and it's still draining. If we don't stop it, you'll die." She said, sounding worried.
"Die?" Danny asked, feeling a bit scared.
"I have no choice, forgive me, father." The young woman said before placing both hands on his chest.
"Heavenly Father, hear my prayer! Save this young one from the depths of hell. His time for judgment has not come. Free this young man from his sins, give him life to walk with the angels. May he walk the path of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen."
Danny tried to speak before feeling something traveling through his body. To his surprise, a red mist started to leave his body, forming into a red glass ball. The woman frowns before drawing a cross on it. It reacted violently before shattering. The red mist faded away before she sighed.
"It done." She said, looking at him.
"Wha..." Danny tried to ask, but the woman stopped him from talking.
"Rest, Daniel. Everything will be relieved in time. You have my word as an Archangel." She said, placing her hand on his forehead.
Danny felt her place her forehead on his before hearing her whisper something. Danny felt his eyes get heavier and tried to stay away. However, his eyes close, making him blackout.
Earth,
Danny groans as he opens his eyes to see he was in a hospital. He felt someone lying next to him and saw his sister. Danny noticed her face had signs of tears, telling him that she was crying. He even noticed she was holding his hand. Despite how much she acted like an adult, she was still his sister. Danny closed his hand around hers causing her to twitch a bit.
Jazz blinked when she felt something squeeze her hand and spin her head. She looked up at the smiling face of her younger brother and went wide-eyed.
"Morning, Sleepyhead." He said, chuckling.
"Danny?" Jazz asked, shocked.
"No, I'm Billy." Danny joked but was caught off guard when Jazz hugged him, crying.
"You're awake! You had everyone so worried!" She said.
Danny sighs and hugs her back. He then thought back to what happened and who he met.
'What that all a dream?' He thought before Jazz pulled away.
"Danny, what happened? After the portal turned on, you started screaming and then stepped out completely different!" She asked.
"Different? What do you mean?" Danny asked, confused.
Jazz blinks before sighing.
"I mean you come out with a white suit and two large wings. You even had some kind of ring floating above you. Like you were an angel or something?" Jazz told him.
"An angel?" Danny asked, thinking back to the girl he spoke to.
"After that, you fainted. Mom and Dad rush you to the hospital, and your looks fade back to the way you look now." Jazz said.
Danny blinks. What happened to him? Why doesn't he remember anything?
"You've been asleep for four days!" Jazz added.
"Wait, FOUR DAYS?!" Danny asked, shocked.
"Yes, the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with you and had to let you sleep it off." Jazz told him.
"I..." Danny said, still shocked.
"I'll let them know you're awake. Oh, and I told Sam and Tucker about what happened. They're here too." Jazz said, getting up.
"Jazz..." Danny started, but his sister ran out of the room.
"Glad to see that she still cares."
Danny blinks before seeing the same woman walking up to him.
"It's you," Danny said, remembering her.
"I'm glad you're awake. We were starting to fear I was too late." She said.
"We?" Danny asked, confused.
"I guess it's time. I'm Saint Michael. One of the Archangels of God. And we have been watching you, Daniel Fenton." She said.
"Saint Michael? Archangel? God?" Danny asked, lost.
"Easy, I understand you have a lot of questions. My sisters and I have watched over you for the past four days." Michael said.
Danny blinks, still lost. Michael couldn't blame him. He didn't have a great life growing up. As much as she wanted to help him, she had to follow the rules. She knew she broke them by rushing to his aid, but she couldn't let Lucifer get her hands on him.
"Isn't Michael a guy's name?" Danny asked.
"It is. However, Heaven doesn't work like Earth does. My sisters are covering for me while I make sure our shared power doesn't go out of control." Michael said.
Danny was even more confused before the door opened to see his parents and friends.
"DANNY!"
He grunts as Sam and Tucker jump on him, knocking the breath out of him a bit.
"Easy, guys. I'm still a bit sore." Danny said.
"Dude, you had us worried for four days!" Tucker said.
"Yeah, Jazz told us what happened and we've been waiting for you to wake up," Sam added.
"Well..." Danny started before his parents walked in.
"Danny!" Maddie said, carefully hugging her boy.
"Glad to see you're alright. How are you feeling, Kiddo?" Jack asked.
"Like nothing happened." Danny sighed.
"What I want to know is what were you doing inside the portal." Maddie glared.
"If you would all settle down, I would explain," Michael said, making everyone turn to her.
"Who are you?" Sam asked.
"I'm Saint Michael, the archangel of God." She said, shocking them.
"And yes, I know Michael is a guy name, but heaven is different. When your son turned on the portal, it opened to another plane that we hope would never be opened." Michael told them.
"What plane?" Jack asked.
"First off, trying to gain access to the realm of the dead is highly forbidden. You could put thousands in danger because you rush to prove yourself. Even worse, you could have unleased even the most dangerous of all ghosts. You're thinking about ghosts are also wrong." Michael told his parents.
"Wrong?!" Maddie asked, shocked.
"Ghosts are restless spirits, unable to move on. Some have unfinished business. Others just wished to be left alone. Whatever may you think that all ghosts are evil, it is not a true mindset." Michael told them.
Jack and Maddie looked at each other, making Michael sigh.
"Remember what happened to your friend, Vladimir Masters?" She asked, getting a nod.
"That was from acting rashly and destroying his friendship with you. We could not allow a repeat of that to happen again. So, we have blocked all access from the Realm of the Dead. No one will even find it." Michael said, shocking them.
"And for the worst news of all, you have opened a portal to Hell itself." She told them.
"Hell?" Danny asked.
"Yes, Hell, where my fallen sister was banished to. Her power was split from her and sent to different parts of the town. You were almost consumed by it, yourself." Michael said.
Danny blinks, remembering the red mist.
"With my sister's power weakened, I hoping to find the rest and destroy them. But I would like your help." Michael said, looking at Danny.
"My...help?" Danny asked, confused.
Michael could sense the doctor coming, meaning she would have to hold off on telling him more until later.
"For now, recover. My sisters and I will come down to check on you and help you learn about your angel powers." Michael said, getting up.
"As for you two..." She said, glaring at Jack and Maddie.
"Do something like this again and my father will punish you. If you don't change your mindset, you will never step foot in the Heavens when your time comes." She said before looking out the window.
"I'll return tomorrow to train your son," Michael said before looking at Danny.
"Prepare yourself, Daniel. My sisters and I won't go easy on you." Michael said before she disappeared in a light.
Everyone looked confused, but they all decided to head home after the doctor told them it was time to leave. Danny lay there, wondering what just happened to him in the past four days.
And that's the start of Danny and Michael, my "What if" of Danny and Lucifer. As you can see, some somethings remain the same, but you can see there are differences. Danny now has Angel powers instead of Demon Powers. And he's going to be trained by all four Archangels. So, what changes will happen with the eight people who would have found Lucfier's power in Danny and Lucifer? Well, Danny was freed from that, so his angel form would be much different from his Demon From. As for the others, I don't know yet. I just started, so I haven't thought that far.
