The sun shone brightly on the gray minivan as it made its way down the quiet residential street, followed closely by a giant white moving truck. When it reached the white box-like house at the end of the road, John Utonium parked the minivan directly in front, "Here we are, my little princesses. Our new home."

"Finally!" Buttercup climbed out of the minivan, sighing as she stretched her legs. She had been sitting so long in the cramped vehicle that her legs were almost numb.

"Fresh air!" Bunny followed her older sister Buttercup and took a deep breath, savoring the sensation of clean air on her face.

Blossom rolled her eyes at her sisters' silly antics.

Buttercup groaned and kicked the ground playfully, "Do we seriously have to unpack today? Can't we do that tomorrow?"

"No time, Buttercup," Bubbles said, pulling the luggage out of the van's trunk. "We start school next month!" Bubbles squealed with excitement and skipped into the new home.

Buttercup frowned, reluctantly joining her sisters. She picked up a box labeled "BC's Stuff" and followed Bubbles inside the house.

As soon as the girls stepped through the front door, they were blown away by the sight of their majestic new home. From afar, the house appeared rather compact, but they were pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't quite match their expectations.

Nestled in a corner of the beautiful Townsville neighborhood was a magnificent modern three-story home. The 1st floor consisted of a spacious living room, a vibrant kitchen with modern appliances, an attached elegant dining area, a laundry room off to the side with a large drying area and a folding table, and a half bathroom. The 2nd floor includes a main hallway with four rooms, each with a walk-in closet, a personal bathroom, and a small balcony. The 3rd floor includes the home's impressive master suite with a private bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a large balcony overlooking the backyard with a great view of the town and the neighboring city, Citiesville. Outside, the beautiful house was graced with a magnificent pool, surrounded by an impeccable backyard. The home's grand garage was equipped with plenty of storage space, as well as a roomy parking area. The basement of the grand home was a haven of science, hosting a personal laboratory of its own. Numerous complex machines and devices lined the walls, working in harmony with each other to advance the father's scientific endeavors. Shelves lined with containers of various chemicals and samples also littered the floor, carefully organized for easy access by the dad. The basement possessed its office area as well, providing an optimal workspace for the scientist to do his work in an isolated environment.

The girls entered the spacious living room, setting down their boxes with a loud thud. Their eyes scanned the clean space, the realization slowly dawning on them: this was their new home. The girls were filled with a mix of conflicting emotions - excitement to start life anew in this grand home, yet the pang of sadness and the twinge of nostalgia from leaving everything they held dear behind haunted them. The thought of their old lives, their old high school, their friends, their memories, and the last moments they spent with their mother, filled their hearts with bittersweetness.

Mr. Utonium took note of the sadness in his daughters' eyes and gently placed the boxes in his hands onto the floor. He proceeded to gather his daughters and give each of them a head kiss — a gesture that made them feel comforted and supported.

"I understand how you feel," he whispered. "Your mother and I wanted nothing but the best for you. I do not doubt that she would be proud of the women that you have become."

He sighed and released his grip on the girls, heading back outside to instruct the movers on the placement of the furniture.

The girls continued carrying their things to their designated rooms, surprised to see that their father had taken the extra step to paint their walls in their favorite colors. The soft, pastel hues were a soothing sight, and the girls were grateful for the caring gesture. It was evident that their father wished for their happiness and comfort, even throughout the major changes that their family was undergoing.

The movers placed their respective furniture in the appropriate bedrooms, arranging their things in their allotted spaces. The girls swiftly began to decorate their rooms to their preferences with the help of the movers, making the rooms feel like a genuine representation of their personalities.

Blossom's room was decorated with an academic aesthetic that provided a comforting and inspiring atmosphere. The walls were painted a pale pink shade that contrasted with the various shades of white and ivory pieces of furniture. A cozy desk stood in one corner, paired with some comfy chairs and a few bookshelves filled with various titles. Miniature statues of poets and Greek goddesses were scattered throughout the room. The bed was placed away from any windows with several potted plants and fresh-cut flowers placed on the windowsill and balcony, providing a calming atmosphere.

Buttercup's room screamed punk rock, with a mix of black and green neon-colored elements spread throughout. Dark, ornate furniture of black lacquered wood was strewn about, with leather cushions and pillows adding an element of opulence. Various band merch was hung proudly on every wall, accompanied by an assortment of edgy jewelry, piercings, and tattoos. A well-organized wardrobe held the owner's favorite punk-inspired outfits, while a black and green electric guitar provided the perfect soundtrack. Long, velvet curtains covered the windows, preventing any outside light from entering the room. The room's energy was further amplified by the loud, upbeat music that filled the atmosphere, setting the perfect atmosphere for a rock-loving individual.

Bunny's room was a mixture of an otaku, cyber, and cute aesthetic. The bedroom had a sleek and futuristic theme with neon purple lighting illuminating the space. The walls are painted white with neon pink and purple lighting illuminating the area. The furniture follows a simplistic, modern design, with simple sharp lines and a sleek, metallic finish. The bed is positioned in the center of the room and made of metal and acrylic, with bright neon lighting underneath it to illuminate the space at night. Computer screens and other technology are positioned throughout the room, completing the futuristic vibe. A lilac, frilly curtain playfully draped over the window, while anime posters hung on the wall. A bookshelf filled with various manga was proudly displayed in the corner of the room. The bookshelf held a comprehensive mix of different genres and artistic styles, from magical fantasy and romance to horror and action, ensuring that the owner would never run out of something to read. Despite having the futuristic look, bunny plushies adorned the bed making it look playful and comfortable.

Bubbles's room was adorned with a soft girl aesthetic, which exuded sweetness and gentleness. Powder blue and white were the main colors used to decorate the room. Light, airy curtains of the same colors framed the window, allowing plenty of natural light to shine through. Fluffy pillows and blankets, decorated with fluffy, sparkly details, filled the bed and couches in the room, providing a cozy spot to rest and relax. Across from the bed stood a matching dresser, decorated with decorative mirrors and figurines. The walls displayed a gallery of photos and mementos, while the bookshelf was filled with a collection of cute, colorful, and nostalgic items. A collection of succulents and houseplants was placed on the windowsill, adding a lush, verdant touch to the soft-toned aesthetic.

After the girls had finished tidying up their rooms, they headed downstairs to find all the furniture in place. The final step on their to-do list was putting away any miscellaneous items. Suddenly, they heard a booming voice from the kitchen announce, "Hungry? I'll order pizza."

"Meatlover's deluxe!" Buttercup raced up to her father, but Blossom promptly cut in, yelling, "Mushrooms please!"

"Mushrooms, seriously?! Damn, you have no taste!" Buttercup rolled her eyes and pretended to gag. The thought of eating a vegetable on pizza simply disgusted Buttercup. Pizza is meant to be enjoyed.

"Shut up! Mushrooms are packed with nutrition, providing essential vitamins and minerals that can help keep you healthy and energized. And it tastes good! Considering your eating habits, you need it." Blossom defended her love for mushroom pizza.

Their feuding continued, growing more intense with every argument. The debate seemed to have no end in sight, with both sisters standing firm on their personal preferences regarding pizza toppings.

Mr. Utonium quickly resolved this by simply ordering two plain cheese pizzas.

The long-awaited pizza had finally arrived, and the family savored its cheesy goodness in the comfort of their newly organized dining room.

"I'm so~ excited to start school!" Bubbles said excitedly, taking a long bite of her slice. "I wonder what type of teachers we'll get. I hope everyone is nice. Will we make new friends? Are the boys cute? Will I finally meet the love of my life?" she panic-rambled with pizza still in her mouth.

"Calm down Bubbly. We'll be a-okay," Bunny comforted her sister.

"Why on earth are YOU freaking out?" Buttercup exclaimed, chewing on her pizza. "We wouldn't be going to this stupid school if it weren't for YOU." Everyone pondered on the moment that landed them here, reminiscing on the series of events that had landed them in this current situation.

Bubbles sprinted back home with a beaming smile, excited beyond belief. With a swift movement, she unlocked the front door and slammed it with such ferocity that the house's whole structural system shook in reaction.

"I'm home~! And I have a surprise~!" She sang, excitedly prancing into the living room.

Blossom entered the living room with a questioning look, "What is it?"

"Okay first, I need everyone here. Family reunion!" Bubbles announced loudly, and everyone immediately assembled in the living room, excluding Buttercup.

"Buttercup!" Bubbles excitedly yelled, waiting for her older sister to appear. After a minute or two, Buttercup emerged in PJs, her black hair a mess and her expression angry.

"What the fuck! I was TAKING a nap!" she groaned, her irritation evident. Bubbles, not bothered by her sister's annoyance, continued with her excitement.

"Whatever. I have big news!" Bubbles squeaked, jumping around in circles with her phone in her hand. Bunny jumped up from excitement and squealed along with her sister.

Everyone simply stared at the bouncing blonde and brunette with a mixture of amusement and annoyance. Bubbles and Bunny were always brimming with energy and positivity, always seeing the positive side of things even when things were terrible. They made sure everyone else felt the same way, and while it was cute, it was also sometimes a little bit irritating.

"Bunny, you know what's going on?" Mr. Utonium looked a little puzzled.

"No clue. But sounds exciting!"

Bubbles abruptly stopped her cheerful display, her smile still shining brightly across her face. "We were accepted!" she proclaimed with undeniable excitement.

Everyone shared a look and turned to Bubbles for clarification.

"What are you talking about?" Blossom inquired curiously while giving Bubbles a questioning look.

Bubbles halted her joyful leaps and raised her device, a newly received email on her iPhone. The email was directed to all four girls and the subject line contained "Welcome to Townsville's Performing Arts Academy."

Her family members gathered around her to take a look at the email, their eyes skimming past the subject line and onto the message's contents.

"TPAA? That prestigious school where everyone becomes famous? OMG!," Bunny gave two thumbs up.

Blossom stared at the message, utterly confused. "But we never applied" she muttered, her tone laden with a sense of disbelief.

Bubbles avoided their eye contact and replied, "Well~. We technically did, but didn't."

Mr. Utonium looked worried and turned to Bubbles. "Bubbles, honey, what did you do?"

Bubbles hesitated and mumbled, "Uhm... you see..."

"Just tell us already," Buttercup demanded, with a visible vein popping out on the side of her head.

Bubbles exhaled and replied, "So... I may have submitted a couple of applications."

Blossom and Buttercup shared a look before turning their attention back to Bubbles.

"Shit," Blossom muttered to herself.

Bubbles sighed, her smile turning sour as she acknowledged her family's distress. "I applied us to Townsville's Performing Arts Academy without you guys knowing," she admitted with a guilty smile.

Blossom pinched her nose bridge in disbelief, unable to believe that her younger sister would dare to do such a stupid thing "Bubbles, I can't go," she said, her voice dripping with disdain. "I plan to attend law school and become a professional lawyer," she continued, her tone signaling her disapproval of anything that might interfere with her carefully crafted plans.

Buttercup followed Blossom with a similar attitude, "Nope. Preppy school isn't for me," she announced, accompanied by a nonchalant scratch of the head and a yawn.

"Darling, we can't just move so suddenly," Mr. Utonium reasoned with Bubbles, trying to deter her from her sudden decision. "And what is this school? I've never heard of it before?"

Bubbles's smile immediately faded. Everyone appeared uninterested in the significant opportunity presented to them. TPAA is dedicated to transforming people into celebrities like none other. Why doesn't anyone understand how incredible this chance is?

"Blossom, do you really want to be a boring lawyer?" Bubbles pleaded with her oldest sister, only to be met with an eye roll. The youngest continued, "Buttercup, TPAA isn't preppy at all. They have things you like. Just give it a chance!" Bubbles directed her attention to her other sister, who responded by sticking her tongue out.

"And Daddy, this is a major opportunity for my sisters and me. I know it seems like a stupid last-minute idea, but please let us do this. You won't regret it." Bubbles implored, tears welling in her eyes. Mr. Utonium leaned back, rubbing his temples in deep contemplation.

"Bunny agrees with me," Bubbles said confidently while wrapping her arms around her older sister's left arm.

"I love your passion, dear, but no." Mr. Utonium said softly while shaking his head in disapproval. Bubbles's eyes widened at her father's refusal. As soon as she heard the word "no," she immediately fled to her bedroom and slammed the door shut with an audible bang, leaving everyone startled by the loud noise. Everyone retreated to their own private spaces, feeling an awkward energy in the air as they each began to process what just occurred.

As the clock tick-tocked away, the hour inching past the midnight mark, Blossom lays in her bed, unable to catch a moment of sleep. The sheer sight of Bubbles's distraught reaction left her overwhelmed with guilt, questioning the path she had planned for her future. In her eyes, her life plan was laid out with the precision of a machine: graduate high school, attend an Ivy League university, pursue a law degree, and become a brilliant lawyer. She cherished the idea of being able to use her intellect to solve complex problems and advocate for justice and equity.

Blossom considered the idea that she could still pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer, even with her enrollment at TPAA. She needed to graduate from high school first, of course. Shit. How stupid could she be? Taking a palm to her face and shaking her head playfully, she wondered how she had overlooked the answer this entire time.

She got off her bed, walked over to Bubbles's room, and softly knocked on the door three times. To her surprise, Bubbles answered with a quick "Come in," followed by a few sniffles. The unexpected response left Blossom stunned, as she had expected Bubbles to be sleeping or simply ignore her, but she was too concerned to ignore her younger sister's distress and entered anyway.

"Hi Bubbles," Blossom spoke softly and closed the door behind her, concerned for her younger sister "How are you feeling?"

Bubbles sniffled in response, turning away from her sister. "Hurt. Not that you care" she muttered without looking up, causing Blossom's heart to ache.

Blossom took a seat on the corner of the bed and faced Bubbles. "I'm so sorry. I knew how important this was for you, and yet I ignored your feelings. I really am sorry."

At Blossom's response, Bubbles turned to face her sister and wiped her tear-stained face.

"If it makes you feel any better, I'll do it." Blossom smiled at Bubbles and received a heartfelt hug in return. That embrace and Bubbles's repeated thanks left Blossom feeling redeemed and optimistic that her relationship with Bubbles was closer than ever, even if it meant enrolling at TPAA.

Bunny and Buttercup entered the room in perfect timing, leaving Blossom stunned at the sheer coincidence of it all. Bunny immediately raced over to the sisters hugging and joining as well.

Bubbles noticed Buttercup in the doorway, her expression changing from one of joy to surprise.

"What are you doing here?" Bubbles inquired, her voice conveying her shock and confusion over the unexpected presence of Buttercup.

Buttercup, her eyes still fixed on the floor, finally caved, "Fine. I'll go to your stupid preppy school."

Without hesitation, Bubbles broke away from Blossom and Bunny and darted over to Buttercup. She wrapped her arms around her older sister, squeezing tightly as she thanked her for finally agreeing to attend the performing arts academy.

Buttercup attempted to free herself from Bubbles's tight embrace, but her efforts were futile.

"So what now?" Bunny lay on her sister's bed staring at the pale blue ceiling. "We change our names and run away? I'll be Lucia."

"Well, Dad needs to know that we all agree with this decision. But, I doubt he'll just let us go without a valid reason," Blossom added, placing her hand under her chin as if in a deep state of thought.

Buttercup smirked at her and teased, "Watcha gonna do? Make a boring stupid presentation to let Dad let us go?"

Blossom's eyes went wide as she had an epiphany. "Exactly!" Blossom exclaimed, pointing to Bubbles. "Bubbles, you'll need to give the presentation." Bubbles nodded in agreement, determined to make the best impression on their father.

Buttercup rolled her eyes. Of course, her big-brain sister would do a stupid presentation. No one likes talking as much as Blossom.

"By the way, how did you manage to send applications to that school? I mean isn't there a deadline or something?" Bunny sat up. She grabbed her sister's laptop and navigated to the school's website.

"The school required a video submission specifically, as well as school transcripts," Bubbles replied matter-of-factly, recalling the significant amount of time it took her to compile all the necessary materials.

"What video did you send them?" Blossom asked worriedly about the type of video Bubbles sent to a prestigious school.

"Well, I made a compilation of each of us and our talents. Buttercup loves dancing, Bunny loves producing music, you love acting, and I love fashion design." Bubbles grabbed her laptop from Bunny and searched for the videos she sent to the school.

"Who said I love acting?" Blossom said in disbelief.

"How did you fucking find a video of me dancing?!" Buttercup yelled to which she was quickly shushed due to it being late at night.

"Blossom, you acted in the school play last semester," Bubbles replied softly, displaying the video submissions with pride. She wasn't the lead but her performance had been great. Bubbles searched hard to find videos of Buttercup's choreography, and with some luck, she was able to find one that perfectly captured her talent. "Look," Bubbles said, showing each video submission. She had no doubts that each of her sisters' talents deserved to be recognized and praised.

"TPAA only admits incoming freshmen and sophomores," Bubbles explained. "We'll be entering as sophomores for the spring semester, so we made it in time." She had originally wanted to apply last year as an incoming freshman, but after her mother's unexpected passing, Bubbles simply didn't have the heart to apply.

"And they said yes?" Buttercup raised an eyebrow. Bubbles gave her a simple nod.

Blossom, Buttercup, and Bunny all exchanged a look that read, "You willing to do this?" Each of them nodded in agreement, determined to support their sister and her ambitions, even if it meant facing their fears and putting themselves outside of their comfort zones.

For the rest of the night, the girls worked tirelessly to produce the most eye-catching and informative presentation they could think of. Except for Buttercup. She snored on the floor.

This was a project that would change their father's mind and secure their enrollment at TPAA. Losing some sleep was a sacrifice they were willing to make.

Mr. Utonium peacefully slept until the sound of laughter echoing throughout the house woke him.

"Girls?" Mr. Utonium raised himself from his bed, stretched, and made his way downstairs in search of the source of the noise. To his surprise, he found a laptop hooked up to the living room TV and was pushed onto the sofa by the four girls, who had already placed a cup of coffee in his right hand and a waffle in his left.

"Oh dear..." Mr. Utonium muttered, overwhelmed by the surprise.

"Good morning, Daddy," Bubbles said brightly, her sisters standing behind her, supporting her, "We have something super important to discuss with you."

"Can this wait till later?" Mr. Utonium tried to stand up and leave, but Bunny pushed him back down, firmly saying, "Stay."

As the girls moved out of the way, Bubbles stepped forward to deliver her presentation, determined to convince her father that their decision to attend TPAA was a sound one.

"Daddy, I'm going to show you how fantastic TPAA is and just how amazing it would be if we all attended," Bubbles claimed, her confidence building with each word.

As Bubbles expressed her hopes and intentions, Mr. Utonium, his attention captivated by his daughter's fervor, continued to sit on the sofa. He drank his coffee and enjoyed some of his waffle as Bubbles walked him through her presentation, his mind slowly being swayed by her enthusiasm.

Bubbles had taken the time to explain, step by step, exactly what she had submitted to gain admission. Nonetheless, it provided the Townsville Performing Arts Academy with the proof to decide that Bubbles, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bunny were the perfect students to admit. The four girls had been accepted and would be attending the institution during their sophomore spring semester, and junior and senior years of high school. The campus life at the Townsville Performing Arts Academy will allow the girls to choose between dorming on-campus or renting an apartment nearby, based on the most economical option. Each student must inform the school regarding their desired concentration, such as Fashion Design, Acting, Dance, Music Production, Film/Photography, Business Management, Backstage Production, etc. Despite their individual choices, all four girls will have their core lectures aligned, allowing them to spend quality time together and support one another as they each embark on their own specialized paths.

Mr. Utonium went on a brief pause, weighing the potential risks and rewards with his daughters' ambitions in mind. He contemplated the idea of his daughters attending TPAA, concerned about their future prospects and the risks associated with their potential career paths. However, he was confident in their talent, and he knew that they would go far. He observed each of his daughters, noticing their hopeful expressions while waiting for his response. Seeing the pleading in Bubbles's eyes, he could not deny the request of his youngest daughter. With that, he caved, sighing and running his hand through his hair, responding through his sigh, "Okay. I'll let you girls go. I believe you know what you are doing."

The girls, except Buttercup, cheered with enthusiasm as they heard their father's response. To their surprise, though, he added a condition that would change their plans somewhat. "But... we all go together," he interrupted their joyful celebrations. "I don't want to be separated from my princesses so... I'm coming with you," he said with a smile.

The girls were taken aback by their father's sudden decision, but they ultimately agreed to his condition.

As for Buttercup, while she was hoping to be able to experience a fun chapter in her life without her father constantly supervising her, she hesitantly accepted her dad's condition. This just meant that she would have to come up with new ways of getting her dad off her back. And she already had plenty in mind.

Presently...

"I'm surprised Dad caved in," Buttercup said while finishing up the final slice of pizza. Everyone had finished eating and had moved into the living room to relax. The TV was playing a Disney movie, and the girls were glued to the screen, enjoying it just like they did as kids.

Blossom turned to their father, "Will we really live here until the end of high school? Doesn't it seem like a somewhat drastic move?" She glanced at Mr. Utonium with her piercing eyes, wondering about his employment and the changes ahead.

"I have faith in your abilities and success." Mr. Utonium replied, reaching out to playfully kiss the top of Bubbles and Bunny's head who sat on either side of him. "I want to be here to witness your accomplishments. My job gives me the luxury to work remotely, and this fresh start could be the ideal opportunity for the Utonium family." Everyone glanced up at the large wedding photo of John and Alice, their mother, who stood proudly and joyfully as they celebrated one of the most special days of their lives.

Alice Utonium was a kind and loving mother who always made time for her family. A picture of her on her wedding day shows her beauty as she stood next to her husband John in a beautiful white dress, her eyes full of love as she smiled, holding his hand. She had a soft spot for her daughters and was always supportive of their dreams and aspirations. Her death left a deep void in the Utonium family. Her memory continued to live on, always present in their thoughts.

Once the movie had ended, everyone proceeded to their new rooms to rest and recover after the exhaustive process of relocating. The girls took showers, donned their comfortable bedtime clothes, brushed their teeth, applied their skincare, and settled beneath the covers, eager to get some much-needed shuteye. However, their minds buzzed with thoughts about the changes to come. Within a month, they would attend a prestigious institution, meet new people, and deal with a crazy amount of schoolwork. There was no way of predicting what would await them. But one thing was for sure, not only did they have the support of their father but of each other. And wherever one sister goes they all follow.

As the Utonium family rested after a long day of unpacking all their belongings, Bubbles's iPhone lit up due to a late-night email sent to all the students from the Townsville Performing Arts Academy.

"We apologize for the sudden email, but TPAA is very excited for the start of the new semester. Please arrive at the academy gates tomorrow by 8:00 a.m. sharp for morning announcements and orientation in the Grand Performing Arts Center. We politely request your punctuality. TPAA hopes to see you tomorrow. May we have a delightful semester ahead."
