Going to have to be careful when I upload chapters. I'll try to upload other ways as well.

Ash: Please tell me Conway will get what's coming to him.

He will. Plus, we'll get to see another Pokémon battle. I really should add those three that follow you in a one shot.

Brock: Can we imitate the motto? It's always a blast to mess with them.

Yes, you can imitate their motto. Just expect them to complain like always. Now, after this one-shot, I already have two ideas for the next ones and one constent request. I'll add the ideas at the end of this for people to vote. Now as always, I don't own Pokémon and all that. Now, on with the chapter.

"WHAT?!"

The scream woke Ash and Dawn up as Delia ran into the room, worried about her son. The panic on her face at an all time high at hearing that her son was stabbed. While she was there when her son was taken back into the Operating Room, she had left to try and get some stuff for when Ash had gotten out so he could heal faster. Of course, she couldn't resist getting him a new pair of 'you know what's'.

"Ash," she began, her voice on very thin ice. "If those three from Team Rocket stabbed you, I am going to teach them a very painful lesson."

"It wasn't them," Dawn said. She took a deep breath before looking Delia in the eyes.

"Who?" Delia asked, wanting answers.

"It was another trainer by the name of Conway," Dawn began. "He was about to stab him again before I went out there and kicked him off Ash. I just don't know why he's so obsessed with putting Ash down, but he went way too far. I already decided that he's going to pay if I ever see him again."

Delia took a deep breath and calmed down, deciding what to do next.

"I'm going to get Officer Jenny," she said, her voice having a strong hint of anger. "I'm going to make sure that he pays for this. Dawn, please watch Ash for me. The others will help." With that, Delia walked out of the room.

"You need to get more rest, Ash," Dawn said, helping Ash lay back down. "I would prefer you be ready for Christmas and to do that you need to heal."

"I'll be fine by tomorrow, Dawn," Ash said. "I really should try and get up and see if I can move. I need to be ready should Conway get back."

Dawn could only shake her head at her boyfriend's stubbornness. She knew what she was getting into when she became his friend. Now that she was his girlfriend, she knew now more than ever that she had to keep Ash as rested as she could. The little bit of time that she had known Ash had allowed her to know when he would do something stupid. Now she felt as if she had known Ash all her life, something that had been nagging at her that she knew him from somewhere, but she couldn't place where.

"How's he doing?" a voice asked. Dawn turned and saw Misty walk in with a honey blonde haired teen.

"Trying to get out of bed when he shouldn't," Dawn replied. Misty smirked, remembering how stubborn her old friend was.

"I can always get my mallet," Misty said, her eyes gleaming at her old threats.

"Don't you dare," Ash retorted, glaring at his first travel companion. "You might be one of my oldest friends, but I will make sure your life at the gym will be hell if you do."

"And how do you plan on doing that, Mr. Pokémon Master?" Misty asked, her eyes twitching. All Ash could do was smirk.

"I believe a few calls to your sisters that you want to join the shows might work," Ash replied. Misty gave Ash the stink eye before walking away, grumbling about evil Pokémon trainers.

"A little much there," the blonde said, walking over.

"Serena," Ash began. "Considering what I've dealt with, that's actually calm."

"True," Serena replied. "Now, whose is this with you?"

"Serena, I want you to meet Dawn," Ash began. "Dawn, this is Serena. She's an old friend of mine and Gary's from the camps that Professor Oak held back in Pallet Town for upcoming trainers."

"Glad to meet you," Serena said, holding out her hand for Dawn. Dawn took her hand, shaking it. Dawn then felt nervous, worried that there might be something going on that she doesn't know. For some strange reason, she felt as if she had to be worried about her trying to take Ash from her.

"Dawn's the one I told you about," Ash said, as Dawn went back to Ash's side. Ash reached out his hand, grabbing onto Dawn's, giving it a light squeeze.

"So Ash Ketchum has finally found himself a girlfriend," Serena said, smiling at the couple. Ash and Dawn blushed, still trying to get used to being a couple. "I'm glad that you finally found someone that loves you for you and does not want you to be something different."

"What do you mean?" Dawn asked. "Are you saying that people had tried to change Ash?" Ash and Serena sighed, knowing that this would not be a good memory.

"When we were at the camp," Serena began. "There was another girl there that liked Ash. She started to hang out with us and she began to get way too close to Ash for his own comfort. She then began to start telling him how to do things and when Ash tried to be himself, she went off on him and told him that if he didn't change then he'll be alone for the rest of his life. After that, Gary, in one of the few times he and Ash were still civil with each other, told her to back off and leave Ash alone. After that, she slapped Ash and told him to go crawl in a ditch and that no one wanted him. She then left while Gary and I tried to help Ash back home."

"What happened after that?" Dawn asked, now understanding more about her boyfriend's past. Now she understood why Ash seemed to be more outspoken than normal.

"We don't know," Serena replied. "She said that she was going back to Sinnoh and would not return to Kanto for anything. She said that she would be a Top Coordinator and show the world that Coordinators would always be better than Trainers."

"The only person that I've known to be like that was one of my rivals," Dawn stated. "Her name is Ursula. She's been nothing but cruel to a number of other trainers and coordinators."

"Does she have peach colored hair?" Serena asked, trying to put the puzzle together. If it's who she thought it was, then she knew why Ash had been even more moody when they had talked over the time he was in Sinnoh keeping up with his old friends.

"Yeah, why?" Dawn asked, wondering how they knew her.

"Ursula was the one that I was talking about," she said. "Now I remember you. You were the one that played tag with us when Ash was still down. If I remember correctly, you jumped on his back and tackled Ash on the ground. The two of you had the biggest tickle fight I had ever seen."

It was then that it had clicked for Ash and Dawn. They knew each other from before, but over the years had forgotten each other. While they still had the memories about that time, they never thought that they would see each other again.

"I'll leave you two alone," Serena said, walking to the door. "Give you two some time to sort everything out."

As Serena walked out, Dawn went over to Ash and held him close, not believing that the boy she had met while she was at the camp when her mom was hosting some classes in Kanto was the same one she was traveling with now. When she left Kanto, she had started to feel funny when thinking of the boy and now she knew exactly what was going on.

Unknown to them, Conway had returned and listened to the whole exchange. Now he was more determined than ever to get Dawn for himself. First however, he had to get past Brock and Tracey, both of whom were taking turns checking on Ash and his medicine. There were also those other trainers in the center that he had no idea how powerful their Pokémon were. He was already beaten by a Jigglypuff, a thought that still left him bitter.

"I tried being sneaky before," Conway said, keeping his voice down. "Looks like the only way to get rid of Ash and take Dawn for myself is the direct approach."

Conway pulled out his Pokeballs and let his team out. He turned to them and smiled.

"When I give the signal," he began. "Break down this wall and launch all your attacks at the trainer laying down on the bed. It's time to take what's rightfully mine."

As his team prepared their attacks, Conway gave the signal, causing them to break into the room. Smoke filled the air as Ash and Dawn got down, avoiding the debris. Both had crawled to the door, just as Brock opened it, allowing them to escape. Everyone had rushed down to where the sound had come from, Pokeballs ready for a battle.

"Pidgey use Gust!" Takeru ordered, unleashing one of his team, blowing away the smoke. As the smoke cleared, they all saw Conway, ready to fight.

"You won't win here," Conway said. "Dusknoir, use Trick Room!"

"Rapidash Charge!"Redbeard shouted.

"Let's go Raichu!" Patrick commanded.

As the two Pokémon appeared, Conway's Pokémon shied away, remembering the last encounter with these two trainers. Ash and Dawn's Pokémon joined in, determined to protect their trainers. Conway had made the biggest mistake of his life and now he was going to receive the ultimate beatdown.

Another of Redbeard's Pokeballs opened and Jigglypuff arrived, ready for round two. Redbeard and the others put on their ear plugs as Jigglypuff's song echoed on the battlefield. Conway tried to get away, but the song had hit him, causing him and his team to fall asleep. As the song ended, Jigglypuff looked at her audience and noticed that Conway had once again fallen asleep, along with his Pokémon. Jigglypuff pulled the cap off her marker and ran over, drawing all over their faces. The others watched, most sighing at the vain Pokémon.

"I still can't believe how we caught her," Redbeard said, recalling his weird Pokémon back into her ball. As the others got themselves under control, Dawn helped Ash over to the couch, both exhausted after the crazy day. It was nearly midnight and the others were waiting for Officer Jenny to arrive and take Conway away, hopefully to jail where he wouldn't bother them again.

As Delia arrived back with Officer Jenny, Conway was taken away, but not before Delia had a few choice words with the trainer. No one knew what was said, but the look on his face gave away that he would never mess with Ash and Dawn ever again. Everyone soon went to bed with Delia going back to the hotel, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Tomorrow, they would all enjoy some fun in the snow before going back to their own travels and responsibilities.

Ash and Dawn sat down in front of the fire, just as they had done the night before. Dawn had cuddled up to Ash, refusing to let him go. The past hours had been hell for her and she had nearly lost him. She then found out that their pasts were connected and now she had no intentions on letting Ash go alone ever again. Ash being fourteen and her thirteen, she knew that they were too young for what Dawn would hope that would happen, she knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Ash by her side.

Ash for his part was just enjoying the fire with his girlfriend. Once again, nearly dying due to some crazy event, he was starting to wonder why he was always having bad luck. While he would never call Dawn bad luck, he was starting to wonder why everyone seemed to be out to get him. Still, as he sat down with Dawn cuddling up with him, he thought of the future. One where he and Dawn were settled down and a nice family, away from the troubles of the world. No worries of trying to be a Pokémon Master or anything. If he could, he would stop traveling just so he could be there when she achieved her own dream.

As the clock struck midnight, the two of them got up and went to their room. Both ready to go to sleep. As they made it inside, Dawn led Ash to the bed and sat him down as she helped him into his sleepwear, knowing that his injuries were still a minor issue. As Ash laid down, Dawn laid her head on his chest before bringing her head up and kissing Ash on the lips, which the trainer returned. As they broke apart, the two smiled, happy that they were okay.

"Merry Christmas, Dawn," Ash said. Dawn smiled and kissed Ash on the cheek.

"Merry Christmas, Ash," Dawn replied, laying her head back on his chest. Ash kissed the top of her head as they both fell asleep, ready to finish their journey and beyond, no matter what life would throw at them.

And that is the end of the Christmas chapters. Took forever to write these parts. Now, I have three ideas for the next one and while I will do all three, I want to know which one you want next. I'll let Ash, Dawn, and Brock mention the ideas.

Ash: First idea is a Hogwarts AU. No Pokémon, but plenty of crazy stuff. Might include actual Harry Potter characters as well.

Dawn: Second idea is one where Ash gets stuck on a runway train caused by some crazy evil team. Either Plasma or Flare. Take your pick on that one.

Brock: Third and we know that this one has been asked for a few times is that Dawn goes to Kanto with Ash or to visit Ash.

As you can see we have many different ideas. I'll let you guys pick the next one. I will be working on that tag battle one soon so keep an eye out. Also, I know that the Darkrai movie was asked for a few times, so I'll see what I can do. That's one I'll have to do as a separate story and I have many other projects being worked on. I need to get ILOE started up again as well as finish a few that are close to being done. Also Love Found in War needs to be updated again soon, so I need to find ways to get started on that. I'm not going to do a chapter a week like I was doing, but maybe one per month or whichever I get to. Until then, I wish everyone a good day.
